Although the opening is essentially the og SE batch--and smells really good--it devolves relatively quickly and lacks the sauvage elixir dry down which kinda guts the scent. Definitely weaker and far less complex, it's easy to see that they cut corners.

Masculine, unique spicy scent - it's fresh and peppery which makes it more wearable than the original Sauvage Elixir. Not much else to say tbh.

Very spicy and masculine. Wore this everyday during the winter, but I will say there is something synthetic about it that can be nauseating to some people. Drydown is great though, I've gotten many compliments. And you can't beat this type of longevity and performance for the price. It's definitely worth it but I wouldn't blind buy because the scent itself simply isn't for everyone.

All im going to say the drydown is spot on Intesa Ambra d'Arabia it used to be a popular spray deodorant.

Wow, I thought I hated the sauvage DNA but this is pretty impressive for the price. Clean, sosphisticated, almost creamy pineapple with fresh spicyness, and that tobacco note is gorgeous! I think this is a good all rounder for most seasons, with summer probably the least recommended . I wouldn't be caught dead wearing this but its undeniably nice.

It's a good interpretation of Dior Sauvage Elixir • Clearly not a 1:1; some notes have been dialed up while others have been dialed down. • Sauvage Elixir goes heavy on the dense, dark licorice and woodiness; Asad shifts toward spices, vanilla, and amber. • It lacks the OG's dark, woody gravity, which was traded for warmer, spicier, ambery sweetness. • Ironically, I find that this actually makes Asad easier to wear, but at the expense of Dior's commanding gravitas. • It obviously falls behind Dior in terms of longevity (which is nuts!), but remains an above-average performer. • As with most Lattafa products, aging has improved the juice significantly since I bought that bottle in July 2024. • The price-to-value ratio is excellent.

Good enough for the money

There aren't enough Sauvage Elixir clones in the world, so Asad makes me oh so very happy. There is a gaping hole in the fragrance industry for Sauvage Elixir dupes, and Asad fills it. Asad is like nothing else (except Sauvage Elixir!). Thank you so much Lataffaa! Yay! Now we need more Aventus clones!

I have many fragrances. And got to say this has a unique smell. Is strong. Has great projection. And I enjoy wearing it for weddings and night events.

I don't like the bottle design, and quality. its plastic. Putting the cap back is also a pain. Scent profile is little sweet. Better for cooler weather or during night time. I am not sure I shall use it in office or during hot summer days.

If this is what Dior savage smells like then it must suck because this smell sucks all I can smell is the wood and that’s it and it’s super strong and masculine. Probably will never use this ever I like the asad elixer more it’s much easier to wear but it’s also super woody. Overall ok fragrance probably will never buy again but it’s definitely better than smelling like sweat.

I think the pineapple or something isn’t done right. It’s bitter and generic (second one is expected tbf). Not for me

Solid Sauvage Elixir dupe. Spicy, peppery, a little sweet... the opening is a bit sharp and synthetic at first, but give it a few weeks to macerate and it settles into a warm sweet spicy drydown that smells really good. Nothing clever to say about it, it just smells good and you're getting a lot of fragrance for around $30-$40 CAD. Great value, worth it. Personal subjective score: 8/10

I like this one, but I was thinking it is not as strong as people say..well I was wrong. I over sprayed it today and did not smell it that strong, but my lady picked me up in her car for lunch and when I got in she said it almost choked her out of the car! So I guess it is beast mode after all!!

It's good but nothing crazy, it does what it claims and stops there. I personally think that the dry down is way better than the opening, but the opening is not bad by any means. The dry down feels a bit more powdery and sweeter while the opening is more sharp and spicy. 8/10

If this is what sauvage elixir smells like, i dont want to be anywhere near that scent, a very strong and agressive spicy lavender scent that reminds me of shower gels, but not your average blue fragrances, cant pick up any vanilla whatsoever, should only be worn by age 35+ men, VERY masculine and cologne-like, so if u dont like that, stay away. The pros are that it projects and lasts a very long time. Had it macerate in the cupboard for 2 months and no changes to scent or performance. Sold my bottle away to a friend, would revisit the scent in the future.

However, if you're expecting the quality of Dior Sauvage Elixir, you'll probably be disappointed. The blend is harsher, less natural, and can become a little overwhelming if oversprayed. Overall, Asad is a solid budget fragrance with fantastic performance, but it relies more on power than refinement. 8.4/10.

This one is genuinely confusing to me. I HATE the initial blast of pepper/saffron-esqe accord with that nauseatingly cloying pineapple note mixed in. Enough that I want to immediately peel my skin off to remove the stench. And then I wait a couple hours (or try in vain to wash it off), and what’s left of it is something dashingly reminiscent of the very best aspects of vintage Polo Green. Not the same obviously, but both have that confident 80s fougere man-swagger factor going on. I hope that means it’ll go more in that direction through patient maturation . If so, this one’s a keeper. If not, it’s just another cheap scrubber. Either way, cheap enough that it doesn't matter. We shall see (smell)…

Bad smelling DNA, I don't know why but sometimes it smells like day old sweat LMAO. would not recommend man........

Genuinely hands down smells like dried aged literal poop. Genuinely horror. I tried once before and I lowk forgot how it smelt but ik I wasn't a fan. I got a sample and genuinely it's the worst in my entire collection. Genuinely they took a shit and then distilled it or sum 😭

Before maceration the opening is genuinely god awful. A burst of pure alcohol and rotten pepper. After maceration it turns into a semi-sweet fresh, green and peppery scent reminiscent of Sauvage Elixir but only in the sense of the general DNA. Sauvage Elixir is alot spicier, darker, more ambery and way stronger and higher quality. Asad is much fresher and more wearable and for €20 not a bad fragrance.

Asad by Lattafa Perfumes is a fragrance inspired by Dior Sauvage Elixir. The opening is a little harsh but once you get past that it is very close to it's inspiration. You can't go wrong for the price.

good fragrance for anyone over 30. to me this reminds me of straight syrup, almost medicinal.

extremely manly scent. the best way to describe it is confidence. you have to be confident wearing this fragrance or it will not suit you at all. it is kind of like wearing a cowboy hat. you have to wear it with confidence or people will just look at you like you don't belong. if you pull it off, it is an awesome deal.

This is not a 1:1 of Dior Sauvage Elixir, but it is about 95%, only losing points in the silage and longevity departments. If you are a fan of Dior Sauvage Elixir, or even just Sauvage, I would say this is a safe blind buy. This is a strong fragrance though, you WILL be noticed, so be prepared for that. Overall this is a loud, confidant, manly smell: 8/10

One of my favorite dupes OAT, however. You need to be a certain person to enjoy this. Since it's a dupe of Sauvage Elixir. You need to be so confident wearing this. This is the most manly cologne I've ever smelled. Wearing this makes me want to go bench press 300 pounds and pretend I'm a millionaire. Not a mass-appealing scent; some love it, others really don't. However, with my experience, most do enjoy it on me, and it gets compliments. Longevity is about 9+ hours and is very strong sillage; people will smell it. Max 3-4 sprays; I go with 3. I would say it's not a safe blind buy. Smell sauvage elixir first and decide.

This stuff is a winner and it's a VERY respectable clone of DSE (which I have), especially for the price. OK, the bottle's a little cheap but did I mention that it's a GREAT FRAG FOR $20??!! If you don't mind buying clones and dupes (which I don't mind at all) this is a no-brainer.

Although this is listed as a men's fragrance, I'm a woman who loves this and wears it. I love the spicy pineapple scent, plus it has excellent performance. I love pineapple, but many fragrances combine it with coconut, which I don't like. Asad is fresh and spicy. Makes me want to check on the flankers.

I've tried DSE in stores before, this is basically just a more wearable version of it. I can wear this in summer or winter pretty interchangeably, just less sprays in the summer. The licorice is more toned down in this and you get a little bit more spiciness as well as greenery. Performance is definitely not as good as DSE but it's an easy 6 maybe 8 hours. I still prefer Ighra'a as far as this DNA goes but that's an original creation because it was made before DSE.
