Turkish delight mmm~
I thought I'd love this one as I love rose, and vanilla- but I found this one overly sweet and honestly kind of boring. It is the most typical/safe take on rose and of vanilla. The rose barely pokes through, it is mainly a vanilla/musky light scent..it you enjoy those, you'd like this one. But if you're looking for something more layered or complex then this one is not for you.
This perfume is so lovely, smells like a turkish delight to me, it's just perfect. It lasts a long time and the sillage is pretty good, just be mindful on how much you use and where.
To be honest, I've never been a fan of rose fragrances. But I decided to approach this perfume with an open mind, free of any prejudice and I'm so glad I did. I genuinely think this is one of the sexiest perfumes a woman can wear. Ladies, buy it, or at least put it on your wishlist. I'm amazed that a fragrance can radiate such a strong, elegant, and undeniably feminine energy. It almost changed my perspective on rose-based perfumes. It gives the vibe of a retired baddie who still low-key misses the game)))
smells like an old Victoria Secret vanilla body spray. I get zero rose. I was cursed by a trickster spirit for my hubris of blind buying an entire bottle (it will happen again)
Reminds me of a softer/sweeter mochi milk by dedcool with rose! getting a full bottle asap
100 percent backup worthy!
What???!!!!??? Wait, this is Atomic Rose and its ilk. I’m just doing a random sample grab. It’s more nose scorching chemical but not by much. Huh. In fact there’s almost a weird minty herby note that I actually like. I often think that perfumers get together in the lab corridors and make up notes that are suggested by various synergies of chemicals, like ‘lemon’. Can’t blame them, I’d do it😄…
I got this one as a gift; I wouldn't have considered getting it otherwise, which would have been my loss! I wore it all day today and loved it. It is so rich and full-bodied without being suffocating or too heavy. The roses are RED. The vanilla softens the overall composition without making it too gourmand. It was really enjoyable to wear. I'm genuinely impressed by it.
I know it's meant to be female, but I have it as male, don't smell it as female at all. Good luck.....
Will always remember the time I saw this in a TJMaxx and DIDN'T pick it up... 🤦🤦 I regret it ever since.
Why does this come off slightly menthol on me... can't tell if it's the lemon mixing with the vanilla...not sure this is my vibe even though I absolutely love all the notes listed. Sad.
To my nose, this is is a lite version of Arabians Tonka, but instead of beeswax, you get a sugary, humid, sticky honey scent. Think of the smell of crystalized honey with an exceptionally well-blended rose note that never becomes realistic but somehow it works. I can't seem to smell this very well, but I think that's a me thing. I am hoping it will become more potent after it matures/oxidizes. I will come back and update.
You’ve gotta be a true rose fan, because, yes, there’s a bit of vanilla and sweetness. But it’s a rose scent first and foremost. The rose absolutely dominates. While it’s more dry and fresh than creamy and gourmand.
favourite perfume. playful, feminine, i adore ittt
this one instantly made me want to vomit
the lemon in the beginning combined with the rose gives it a beatifull freshness, then as the lemon fades away it kinda starts smelling like rose water which i didnt like. an hour after spraying, the vanilla comes in and it starts smelling like such an elegant sweet rose-y scent. definitely my fav rose perfume so far. i'd spray this for every occasion and weather tbh
Lovely rose with vanilla scent. Super long lasting ~12 hours! Powdery, smooth. Also great for layering! Great in the summer heat because it is so dry!
i blind bought this perfume and i love it!! its roses and vanilla (obviously), but that is it. no surprise notes, no evil patchouli lurking in the base notes, literally just vanilla and rose. it is the perfect balance - not too sweet, not too musky. its quite strong but not so much so that its headache inducing. i always get complimented wearing this.
did i get a bad bottle? on paper, this perfume is *everything* i was looking for. in reality, it smells like a rose-y liquor when it's first sprayed. the dry-down is a bit more tolerable; it smells closer to a nice, deep rose. however, it's far from the powdery vanilla rose i was hoping to get. i may try again in the future.
Soft rose vanilla coffee reminds of Montale intense cafe
This is a zingy, sugary sweet rose scent. Not powdered sugar, but like the crystallised rock sugar you can get. It’s definitely one dimensional, and smells sharp/synthetic, but it’s overall pleasant if you like Turkish delight rose. I’m not sure whether I’ll get a full bottle because I can’t see myself wearing this often.
Simple, comforting, and well composed rose–vanilla perfume.
For the first few wear, I found Roses Vanille to be a very intriguing linear rose. It smelled light and delightful, leans cold, so there's an image of a rosewater vanilla agar – not quite powdery like a turkish delight, but close. It sparkles like soft sugar candies in a jar. The rose is rosing, the vanilla is vanilling, the musk is musking. ...but then it gets pretty boring. You don't always reach for a sweet treat like this everyday, only once a few weeks or whenever the craving hits. So I'm putting it back in the drawer, only taking it out when I feel like a softy. Nice moderate projection, people knows you're wearing this but not to an extent where it's a compliment getter. Lasts okay, very fragile to heat though.
Another screechy rose scent that is impadia adjacent 😭
For some reason this does not last on me at all. It projects for maybe like 2-3 hours MAX and then it turns into a skin scent for 7-8 hours. I tried all of the hacks and they improved the longevity slightly but not to the extent that i would like them to. Should i let my bottle mature or something? Im super confused. The tester at the store lasted longer.
Glad I only ordered a tester. There’s something sharp and tangy in this that’s off-putting for me…suppose it’s the lemon but I normally enjoy citrus notes. After I sprayed it my husband said it smelled like stale beer in an empty bottle - a pretty apt description for this strange note! The scent projects hugely and I can still smell it after scrubbing with a washcloth, which would be a plus if I liked it. The rose and wood notes remind me of Oscar Rose, which layers well with vanilla and creates a more appealing profile for me.
At first it is almost Turkish delight, but not quite. A sweet rose scent that has some similarities to Delina, but not as fruity. It is light and delicate, not heavy or overpowering. By the end of the day it smells a lot like Rose Amalfi by TF and has a sugary powdery aspect.
Nicely blended realistic roses and vanilla, quite delicate so easy to wear for any occasion; a walk through a rose garden at a garden party is what comes to mind 😀.. Pleasant and quite romantic reminds me of Mademoiselle a la folie perfume
When I first tried this on a paper tester, I absolutely hated it, it smelled like straight ink to me. But everything changed while I was out shopping for another scent and decided to give it a chance on my skin. It was an instant "oh my God" moment; it felt like a completely different fragrance. Strangely, when I got home and sprayed it on a dress, that "inky" smell returned, and it didn't seem to last at all. I decided to let the bottle sit and macerate for a while, and I am so glad I did. Now, it is incredibly beautiful. I've realized this is a fragrance that truly relies on skin chemistry to shine. On me, it develops into a stunning, syrupy, and jammy rose that feels rich and indulgent. The longevity is now perfect, but it comes with a warning: it is very easy to over-apply. Because it is so sweet and potent, it can become quite cloying if the weather is too warm. It’s definitely not a hot-weather scent, but in the right conditions, it’s a total dream Layering it with Delina Exclusif 10/10
