Alien

I bought this one for my wife: I almost never wear it myself so grain of salt but on my wife it is enchanting. I have loved white floral ever since my grandparents had jasmine bushes growing in front of their house. I remember smelling them in the dark after the long car ride down from the midwest. This is those but without the hot, damp night air of mississippi. A little mature, yes; a bit suffocating, yes, but really intoxicating. A woman I would see in a nice hotel lobby as a child. I like my wife wearing this but I like women who are going to take advantage of my naïveté.

No matter how into niche and high end private line designer perfumes I get, Alien will always have a piece of my heart. Yes, she's loud, yes, you could be forgiven for finding her screechy, and yes, she'll last and last. But there's just something about her. To this day, nothing smells like her to me. Alien is the right name for it because there's something a little off, a little sharp in the blend of jasmine and cashmeran here and I've never understood why people say it's a fragrance you'll love if you love jasmine because I think it brings out a facet of jasmine you don't typically get. Despite what people say, Alien is the only fragrance I know for a fact other people have bought after smelling it on me, and that's happened more than once (smelling it on a friend is also how I wound up with my first bottle). I think it's a classic for a reason, and it's stuck around for a reason.

Incredible perfume. especially for its availability and price point. Sensitive noses beware. If you like jasmine you will love this perfume, in fact it will likely become a favourite. If you don't, and I say this with love, it will cause migraines. Lasts for days on clothes which gives you a distinct, unique presence wherever you go. If you consider yourself on the witch/goth/darkness enjoyer spectrum I'd definitely give this perfume a go. It lacks the darkness of a neroli/oud perfume but makes up for it with sensuality, and almost feminine creepiness. Like an evil witch who works as a florist. Perfect for Autumn and Winter

Expectations vs reality. First of all, I was afraid to try it because people put it on lists of the worst, most annoying "beast mode" perfumes.i felt Bullshit exaggerations. Compared to Addict, I found Addict much stronger. Of course it is not for the office.it will annoy others if you put to much in close space,but it doesn't smell bad. I personally hate indole; it gives me a "dead flowers" vibe. Here, there is NONE,not a trace of indole,it's a metallic, clean, and cold jasmine.(like a knife or a cold wind) not even that alien anymore. It's a fine perfume. I don't know why it gets lumped into the scariest categories. Or i know..Their success gets them.maybe that's just where unique ,non-generic, and not-so-easy-to-wear scents end up but still best sellers. Ι have in one arm alien goddess intense and in the other Alien,and although I like the Alien Goddess Intense more, but I can't stop sniffing my wrist with the OG (original), I don't know why... maybe because it's more unique.

My signature. Seductive, magnetic. Obscure, maybe. Definitely not summery but sometimes I wear it also in summer because I simply love it. Do not blind buy, however, it's really particular

Smells vaguely human, but mostly like a purple/grey alien. Reminds me of what a weird girl would smell like

Not every part of us wants to whisper. Some parts want to be heard. Alien is that part of me. I don't wear it every day, and I don't think it was ever meant to be an everyday fragrance. I save it for cold evenings, dark coats, and the moments when I want to feel fearless. There is something almost hypnotic about it. Rich, mysterious and unapologetically bold, it fills the space without ever asking for permission. When I wear Alien, I don't become someone else. I simply meet a different version of myself. The one who walks a little slower. Looks people in the eye. Speaks with certainty. And remembers that strength can be just as beautiful as softness. This isn't the perfume I wear when I want to be noticed. It's the perfume I wear when I remember that I don't need anyone's permission to take up space. For me, Alien belongs to winter. Not because it only suits the cold... But because some stars shine brightest against the darkest sky.

Alien smells purple. Artificial, synthetic. Makes me think “who would wear that?” Not in a bad way, I just can’t imagine the personality that could embody that scent .

Did Mugler (L’Oréal) reformulate this again and make it……. Better? Maybe I’m going crazy but I saw that they had a packaging change for the 2026 batch code and I bought a 30ml out of curiosity because I know for a fact they did the same to Angel for 2026 and absolutely changed the scent and made it smell more like the original with updated outer packaging as well….. anyway I sprayed it and I swear. It’s different…. It’s better like it almost was a bit of a medicinal jasmine and I mean that in the best way. My 2024 bottle smells more soapy but this smells more medicinal and robust. Can anyone confirm this or am I just crazy. The new packaging has the gold claw coming down from the top of the box btw. Also look for an “A” in the batch code for 2026

One of my faves, I still don't have a full size bottle, only a travel one. To me, like most fragrances, it reminds me of something distinct, and this one is a roller rink. The darkness, the bright lights, the loud music, the sweat and wood flooring, all in this bottle. It's got this alluring night-time vibe that gives of a warm and sexy feeling. Absolutely adore this one.

I’ve written a review on this fragrance before. It really started my love for perfumes. On my skin the jasmine is soapy and powdery while the amber and cashmeran are warm and musky. One of the few perfumes that goes well with my skin chemistry. Also my husband’s favorite in my collection. I love to use dove original scented products and I feel like alien elevates the clean and soapy powderiness of dove. Alien makes me feel put together! I am wearing it today in July. Only one spray on my chest just for me :)

I have been on the hunt for the perfect dark and mysterious doll scent. Alien is already perfect on its own, so creamy velvety smooth; but layered with Sol de Janeiro 59 makes it incredible! such a unique scent , i love it sm!

I also love this, very basic clean soapy floral that is obviously jasmine heavy. I don't think this could be offensive to anyone, actually, and I'm surprised that it took me so long to sample. Soapy, uplifting, somewhat sunny, and I could wear this everyday. I'm so sick of gourmand and the false hope of ME frags; I thought this might be a refreshing throwback. And it is. Cheers!

A beautifully shimmering and delicious, yet understated and comforting woody jasmine scent. It has been said by many that this is not a traditional white floral in the conventional sense, and I must agree. The immediate opening of this scent is silvery, bright, and heady. It feels like being transported to a field of jasmine with someone you trust on a sunny, breezy day. The drydown as time goes on becomes an intimate, warm, pillowy hug, with the woodiness of the cashmeran being slightly smoky in nature, and pleasantly enveloping the nose almost like a fog. With sweet jasmine still close in tow, the latter half of this journey evolves into an intimate skin scent that makes me smile every time.

My first love. The perfume that got me into perfumes. Couple sprays in the morning and 70 years from now your grandkids are still gonna smell the jasmine. Haters will say to not wear this in the office but real Alienheads find a way (tiniest spray underneath clothing if I really wanna smell it that day). You gotta be polite with your sprays in public because this is some POWERFUL juice, but at night I'll put a bunch on for just myself. I've been branching out more recently after only using this for years, but I'll always come back.

Not only did I hate this, but it left me wanting to kill everyone in my sight. If you wear this out in public, I hate you. This is for freaks to wear and be a psycho in their own house. Away from the public’s nostrils.

The og bad bitch perfume!

I don't love woody or amber-y scents. I'll start off with that. However, this perfume was recommended to me for the starting notes, and the person who recommended me this was correct! I absolutely loved this initially. I really tend to gravitate towards those soapy, minty, medicinal jasmine scents (Flora Gorgeous Jasmine looking at you). After about an hour, the initial scent faded. The dry down (I guess is what you would call it?) left me smelling like those awful Avon perfumes your grandma used to wear. This smells like a grandmother. It's a little eccentric, I'll give it that, but 100% not my jam. I'm definitely a bit disappointed.

It's very cold medicinal, soapy and minty for the first hour or so. Sharp. After that it turns warm and a bit woody almost and the jasmine and amber is nice. But I have such a hard time enjoying the first hour that I don't want to wear it.

This is the loudest perfume ever I think. Sticks on my clothes through a workday and a wash cycle. The jasmines kinda screechy and metallic at first but the woody dry down is HEAVEN. Offered this to two of my girl friends who don't gaf about perfume and they called me a grandma but still wore it and reapplied later. I'm in the minority but I love this on a HOT summer night it makes me feel crazy.

It smells like soap and florals, in my opinion a spring and summer fragrance that would work great in cold weather too, a great signature scent for every occasion and every weather. It's clean, fresh, elegant and floral, very nice. It's chic, but so welcoming and soft.

I know this does not smell natural. I would say that Jasmine Sambac & Marigold, Diorissimo, and Do Son smell natural, quite similar to real white flowers, but I can't pull those off. I love the scent of white flowers in nature but not always on me; they remind me of my grandma (and I say it respectfully; I love the way my grandma smells). Well, Alien manages to make me feel attracted. No matter how "synthetic" and overused this is, I always turn my head when someone passes by wearing this. I used to have the Eau de Toilette flanker, which I found more powdery and soapy for daytime (sadly discontinued); they're both kryptonite for me. I smell the jasmine on top of a soft (and white) woody/ambery base. On my skin, this jasmine is super linear. I don't think it is decadent or indolic. It's more juvenile than mature (I'm talking about the attitude only; it's appropriate for all "adult" ages). Wear it at the right moment, with the right clothes and the right smile, and you will conquer the night. I also love the name "Alien" for such a synthetic (but attractive) note and the "talisman" concept of the bottle. It's like an amethyst stone delivered from another planet, designed to conquer the human race. 💎👽

Alien INDEED, if you find your grandma's over scented soap to be alien. It had a very intense chemical smell that wore off quite quickly, though I will say in it's defence it was a sweltering hot summers day, I did not enjoy this fragrance at all unfortunaly, but it was certainly floral.

Fui louca e dei blind, mas ficou tudo bem! A saída me assustou. O jasmim deu um tapa bem alto na minha cara nos primeiros minutos, e senti um tanto bom de tuberosa achicletada também. Me lembrou produto de limpeza. Nessa hora, jurei que o blind tinha dado errado e eu jamais gostaria desse perfume. Porém... Uns 40 minutos depois, fui cheirar de novo e as flores ficaram menos chocantes, dando lugar a um conforto quentinho ambarado meio doce, abaunilhado. Vi muitas pessoas falando que ficou super amadeirado nelas, mas em mim não. Depois de algumas horas, não sei se por fadiga ou pelo próprio desenvolvimento do perfume, as flores derreteram de vez no âmbar e ficou a sensação cada vez mais aveludada, sensual. Difícil de explicar. Definitivamente, o perfume tem uma vibe exótica, mesmo, meio incompreensível, com cara de noite. Acabou que eu gostei bastante do conjunto da obra, mas ainda não me desceu a explosão floral do início. Vou usar mais vezes, quem sabe mudo de ideia!

I haven't smelled anything this skanky since the original 80's Poison or Gucci Rush. Love it! On me I get grape candy and then in a flash it was gone, then powdery, ambery, and sweet woodsy. I get that unique vintage Coppertone note in here that I've never smelled in anything but in the old Coppertone lotions. I think this is triggering memories of carefree times shakin' it in my lil bikini. The jasmine doesn't come until the dry down about 1.5 hours in.

I refuse to call this a "jasmine bomb" given how woody it smells on me, I get a lot of sandalwood from this. For me a lot of jasmine heavy perfumes can be quite predictable, I don't find this so. Jasmine, though I enjoy it, is so often a 'go-to' note on a lot of clean, excessively floral compositions which immediately make me think of weddings, spring and gardens in bloom, Alien absolutely is NOT THAT. There are no bouquets and bumblebees here. It's very abrasive and keeps its cosiness slightly out of reach. When it dries down it's very aromatic, it's where the sandalwood shines and clings to practically everything. It's feminine, but Alien is not going for pretty, it's going for eccentricity, exhibitionism and intrigue and that's exactly what it does.

heard so much about this but one spray and it was EVIL!! i tried my hardest to like it but oh wow so much floral... TOO much jasmine. if i smell this on you, u are going into the TOILET!!!!!

An unnatural, bright purple, ambery jasmine. Otherworldly and feminine in a sci-fi sort of way. Though it smells far from natural, it doesn't come across as synthetic in an unconvincing sense, but intentionally artificial. It has a glowing radiance, but more like neon light: bright, yet offering no real sense of warmth or comfort. Very minimalistic and linear, a steady glow, which emphasizes its futuristic, artificial character. Alien is luminous and mesmerizing, but distant, untouchable.
