Tiffany & Co Intense

Perfect baby blue powder. I love this fragrance; it’s an every-season wear, in my opinion, and the strong powder note conveys whimsy rather than weight. This will be a collection staple for me.

I love Tiffany and Tiffany Sheer, which are electric and fresh, more fougere. Intense is a warm powdery leathery amber oriental like YSL Opium sprayed on stale ginger biscuits. Starts heavy with sticky sweet Sugared Pear, sweet Amber, powdery Iris and Bitter Benzoin. Ten minutes later the pear syrup disappears and it gets spicer, thinner and drier. Its a spicy powdery sweet amber soft leather musk that falls flat. The fresh Mandarin Leaf and Rose floral heart notes advertised are absent. These were magical in Tiffany and Tiffany Sheer. Without these lighter notes for me it reads masculine, like leathery cologne. But good cologne. One interesting note is the Benzoin which to me smells like bitter Wormwood used for traditional herbal medicine mixed with fir and pine wood shavings. It gives the scent a herbal bite, and combines with the warm notes to remind me of the real top grain leather. The smell of rich Aunties as they pulled out their powder compact to check their lipstick in the 80s. Feels like Christmas, earthy realism, nostalgic family gatherings and crisp cold weather. I brought mine from Sephora last week and the juice is brown.

Smells like $$$ money babyy. If you wear this you better have a favorite Fabergé egg, you better have two white twin borzois, and your husband better be an aristocrat from an obscure vaguely European Grand Duchy. Or maybe you're just Zsa Zsa Gabor.

This could easily be a sister-scent to Reine de Saba Balqis! Orangey, peppery, powdery, soapy, pleasantly retro, cheekily unisex, whisperingly medicinal, and with a velvety iris holding it all together. I love Daniela Andrier’s posh iris creations! The floral elements of Tiffany Intense bloom brighter as this dries down; it’s an abstract floralcy, sweet and vegetal with a “cosmetic powder” finish. I think there is a whisper of patchouli in the drydown — perhaps it’s the earthiness of the carrot note. The overall vibe reminds me somewhat of Chanel Chance edt — a fresh, bright, peppery opening giving way to a perfumey jasmine-and-iris floral. I’ve mostly compared this to other fragrances (elsewhere to Ellen Tracy Bronze) but it is unique among these references for its distinctly lipsticky sweetness.

Just pulled this out of a trunk where it’s been hiding for a couple of years. Wow! It has evolved into that beautiful ambery vanilla concoction that a good vanilla note is known to do. Distinctive, warm, and feminine. A happy rediscovery! At a time when so many fragrances seem to just be annoying to me, this one is a gem.👍

Very niche and classy, not easy to describe, needs to be tried on. It has a mildly vintage and soapy feel on skin, not so much powdery but more musky, it feels like a super luxurious pleasant soap and it reminds me a little bit of Lolita Lempicka, only that the later has a distinctive sweet Licorice note that this one doesn't. Both have a fairy tale vibe to me. I love it, it's unique and beautiful, all year round perfume. The dry down is heavenly, it's just that it doesn't particularly last long on my skin which is a shame (I get max. 3-4 hours before it's completely gone) but it's a very nice treat for the senses once in a while.

This is such a fantastic iris fragrance. Too bad it's been discontinued, at least that's what I gathered since they didn't have any bottles at Macy's or a tester of this. It has similarities to Fleur de Peau by Diptyque except this is more of the designer version of that fragrance. I know when most people see a carrot note they're thinking, 'what? A carrot?' Trust me when I say that carrots and iris go together like peanut butter & jelly. It's only there to amplify the earthy, vegetal qualities that the iris has. The combinations here aren't anything new, but they're done very well here. This is basically a musky iris fragrance. Iris, pink pepper, carrot, amber, vanilla, pear-it all makes sense, and its blended very well here. I don't get much of the balsamic or ambery tones in this one. I think the perfumer knew their target client, being Tiffany, and they wanted to do something in alignment the brand, keeping it simple, understated, timeless, and classy. (The perfumer here has a gift with iris, being the nose behind the Prada Infusion D'Iris line, Purple Rain, Fragonard Belle De Paris) The beautiful romantic, understated floral note of the iris, paired with a soft musk, is highlighted well with the pink pepper and carrot. To ground those arrid, earthy, dry tones, the perfume is balanced with the vanilla, amber, benzoin, and pear; ultimately there to foster the focus, a musky iris, and to bring harmony and balance to the composition. The other notes are background notes to me. This is a lovely, everyday fragrance for people who love iris. The sweetness is subtle, just the right amount to keep it restrained and classy. Could easily be a signature scent, as long as the wearer doesn't mind overspraying. I wish I could get this in a gift box because it really could use the support of a matching perfumed lotion or cream. I see this on a woman wearing a silk blouse, diamond Tiffany studs with a solitaire diamond ring, hair in a mid-pony or headband, ballet flats or designer loafers.

Ooooh I love this. I got a second hand partially used 30ml bottle on a second hand site and the batch code is from August 2020. It's a very dry, musky, powdery iris with a touch of sweetness. It is very smooth and comforting. I don't get a rich type of amber scent as in the accord breakdown, but more like a cosy, snuggly and warm feeling from this. It doesn't smell like anything I already own but the closest thing I have is Narciso Rouge EDP, except Narciso Rouge is way more rosy and sweeter, but for me they same familiarity that musky (and for me iris) scents can often bring. ** Edit - I have a copy of Dior Home Intense and it's very similar, but this is more feminine with citrus in the opening.** I love this and it's such a shame if it has been discontinued, as I've read elsewhere and its no longer available on the Tiffany and Co UK website. It's another fragrance that I feel like could just smell like "me", as though it could just smell like the neck of my jumper after a day wearing it, it's comforting and familiar. I can't imagine this offending anyone, it's very office safe and I think whilst it's probably better suited to daytime, I can also see it working in any season or for any occasion or as a signature scent. Longevity is probably 6+ hours and I do get occasional wafts during wear so projection is ok too, but I haven't worn it enough to say for certain.

Opening is a bit rough on my skin, but dries down to this beautiful powdery musky iris. Iris + benzoin make such a wonderful drydown, it’s not sugary but it has almost Orthodox church incense sweetness to it, which is imo the best smell ever <3 Would totally wear this to meet someone’s mother or to boost my spirits on a spring day. Classy and refined. Can’t stop sniffing, it just reminds me of April during great lent. If you’re not heavy on the bright florals for spring, this is very pretty and ladylike.

Eminently powdery, clean, sleakly groomed, soft-focus. It took me several wears to realize how strongly this puts me in mind of Ellen Tracy Bronze -- that effervescent, bubbly, lemony violet-leaf fragrance that can be found for about $10 at every discount store. Yes, Tiffany & Co Intense has its own thing going on -- the iris and amber are stronger than in Bronze, but do not despair if you'd like something with a similar vibe but can't find Intense: give Bronze a go!

Tiffany intense is an elegant, soft and powdery scent. It's non headache-inducing, ie it's office friendly except that the person who wears it may not need to work, or they'll smell that way. It's the perfect Tiffany-branded perfume suitable for day to evening. I'm surprised there's not more hype about this except that the one thing it is not, is spectacular. It's a nice, safe, elegant and mature perfume vibing similar to Dior Addict without the spice - quite the holiday perfume. Tiffany Intense is nice, elevated. Not sexy, not gourmand. Projection is nice. Everything about this perfume is nice including the bottle and the price. A safe buy if you enjoy Iris and Violet. This is a "nice" staple leaning mature, elegant, reserved and signature or holiday. Upscale, quietly pleasant and unusual with decent sillage and projection but yet soft and reserved. A lovely blend for year-round wear.

Now this is the kind of Iris that I love in a perfume. Powdery, soft and delicate. Love the sophisticated bottle perfectly matching the scent too. Much better than the OG. Might not be very long lasting to me yet still a safe blind buy.

I am a huge fan of iris fragrances, particularly the waxy makeup iris accord. I love Dior Homme Intense and Parfum. Tiffany Intense doesn't commit to the iris the same way as Dior Homme and is nowhere near Lipstick On. It is also nothing like Glossier You. It is more of a blended floral with a twist of sweet citrus. At dry down, I can detect the DNA of the original Tiffany EDP for her I had in the 1990's. It's as if they took that perfume, removed the woody notes, added some iris and tweaked it to make it more fragrance counter commercial. Tiffany Intense is pretty but makes no statement. It is a safe blind buy for a floral lover. Bottle is beautiful and it comes in a Tiffany Blue box. Highly giftable. However, note that longevity is poor and projection is non-existent - especially for an intense. I will happily enjoy it and use up my bottle though because I didn't pay much for it. I really don't understand why they don't re-release the original Tiffany for Her and Trueste as those were absolute masterpieces. Why release a bunch of "meh" when you already had "WOW!"

I was expecting something much different… a colder make up iris with the rhizomes being supported by the carrot. This is not what I expected. It’s still very nice and expensive smelling. This reminds me of something Narciso would release.. perhaps it smells most like Poudre. I don’t regret my purchase since I got a good price and I’m pretty sure it’s discontinued. Have no idea why this would be compared to Glossier. They couldn’t be more different. A glossier girl likes a bare face while Tiffany Intense smells like someone who is painstakingly detailed when it comes to beauty routines.. she could spend a few hours applying make up and setting her hair.

Very peppery opening, synthetic, strong. Dries down to a lovely iris, earthy, on the dry side. Powdery, but also with a twist of cirus. Nothing else stands out notewise, gently floral, dissapears fast on me sadly.

A beautiful powdery vanilla. It feels Guerlain-esque. I don’t care for the opening (not very pleasant), but the drydown 2+ hours later is the best part, it smells smooth and ‘shimmery’ if that makes sense, very alluring and sophisticated, it’s giving a classic, ‘understated glamor’ sort of vibe. This will make a lovely signature scent for spring, fall and mild winters. It can work in any occasion, on dates, to work, etc. It’s sweet, but in a cool, delicate and refined manner. I feel like I’ve smelled a similar ‘shimmery’, powdery vanilla scent on my mom about 20 years ago, so it smells nostalgic to me…no idea what perfume she was wearing, probably something from the 90s or early 00s. It also reminds me a little of Lalique Le Parfum, but this one is much more refined, smoother, more youthful, and just smells more attractive. I can imagine Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s smelling like this when she’s out partying. Sillage is moderate, and longevity is good (7-8 hours), as always I find that spraying on clothes as well helps a scent last longer and increase projection.

Phew buddy. Smells very strongly of “just getting your nails done in a high end nail salon downtown”. That’s all I can imagine when smelling it. I wanna say I hate it…but there’s a little bit there that wants to pull me in closer. It’s weird. It’s not terrible. It doesn’t smell gross. It just ultimately smells like a nail salon. And if that’s your thing you will love it.

She is lovely, quiet but sharp. Warm and cold at the same time. Truly all year around signature scent. If you don't mind a powdery musky vanilla you will love this. It is very different from vanilla releases from these years. The pink pepper and iris gives it cold, refreshing feeling. While the benzoin, musk and vanilla are extremely enveloping and calming. It's oh so elegant and classy gives you confidence without being loud.

From the bottle it smelled gorgeous. Though when I sprayed it, it opened with a harsh and synthetic iris note, which you need to resist for 40 minutes, if you do not like iris. After 2 hours, it turns into a sweet powdery scent - with each passing hour, it becames more powdery. Has a nice projection and stayed in my wrist for 12 hours

This is the most sophisticated, elegant, classy, clean, clear, powdery, feminine-grown up dignified women, all occasions, all seasons, unique, compliment getter of a perfume. I really don't get any sharpness or harshness, no baby powder or wipes whatsoever, neither masculinity. Atomizer is superb, the only thing I resent is this downright ugly, impractical and cheap box, especially for the price and brand. Don't know if this is getting discontinued? It would be such a shame. I stocked up though.

Tiffany Intense smells like money to me. Not like literal money obviously, but it smells like wealth. I picture nice clothes, diamonds and expensive handbags when I smell it. Usually I find fragrances like this to have a vintage vibe, but that's not the case here. It smells "clear". If crystal glass had a scent, I imagine it to smell like this (I have also tried a few other fragrances with the same crystal clear vibe). It has a slightly sweet and creamy base that keeps the more clean top notes from smelling sharp. I can't really explain what I'm smelling, because it's very well blended, but it makes me think of a black tie event. I don't have a lot of occasions to wear it, so I'm glad I only bought the 30 ml bottle, but when I do wear it I really like the way it makes me feel. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous! 8/10.

The carrot note in the background gives it a bit of a body odour scent, otherwise it's a nice sweet, musky, soapy fragrance. Based on a sample.

first powdery scent i tried on and it definitely smells feminine (i'm male, 30's). layering this on some of my woodier scents though, that's where it's at. a combo of this and les elixirs oud or issey miyake noir amber is undefeated.

FYI: This perfume is naturally supposed to darken over time, As almost all fragrances with Vanilla do. You'd think most perfume enthusiasts would be aware of that. Anyway, This scent is absolutely beautiful, Love it. It's got that lipstick smell in the opening, And transforms to a more sweet, Powdery drydown. Perfect!

Got bad after 1 year. Not only the color changet to strong yellow but the smell got really bad i cant even use it for bathroom fragrance. Those iris fragrances when they are not made perfect this happens....

Another Iris gem!! Beautifully done. Classy and luxurious elegant lady who is very feminine yet strong inside. Suitable for ladies in Management level jobs but still very gentle and feminine. Suitable also for date nights when you go to expensive restaurants. This perfume is elegance in and out!!

It's a classy, easy-reach jasmine that doesn't smell indolic. It has a soft spiciness that tickles your nose a bit, which is nice. Nothing much to say, it smells good but very safe. I can smell the powdery, sweet iris as well. It smells kinda like scented paper. I like it though. Boss lady vibe but also suitable for date nights. 10/10 on the versatility scale, 3/10 on uniqueness. It lasts all day with moderate-strong projection.

Starts off sharp, kinda feels like yellow floral. But it transitions rather quickly to powdery Iris with vanilla and pepper in the background. At this stage it’s softer. Update 03/27/2024: I think if I layer this with Zara’s Romance d’Iris, which is a very powdery iris, it will smooth the edginess of Tiffany Intense.
