Tried this again about a month later and it's still just a synthetic mess of a fragrance. If you think this is a masterpiece, you generally have no taste lol. Learn to appreciate fragrances without the cheap, synthetic aroma-molecules Bisch uses. This smells like a cheap dupe, like every other Bisch fragrance. Amouage please no more Bisch slop.
This is amazing but four sprays are way too many. Eight hours later and it's pushing hard, like I just sprayed it. What did they put in it? One bottle will last me a lifetime, and I have two, and I am keeping them both. Update: The next morning. I can still smell it after a morning shower the next day.
If anyone in Nederland has this bottle and wants to sell it, please contact me. Als je in Nederland woont en je wilt de fles verkopen, stuur me een berichtje
Got a sample of Amouage Decision with my order of Memoir Man, and I have to say I really enjoy this scent. It has an almost buttery texture to my nose, like smooth, buttery fine wood with a slightly dusty quality. As it develops, I definitely pick up the vanilla playing more of a supporting role in the background. It’s nothing overly heavy to me, although I could definitely see this becoming cloying if you overspray it. Overall, it’s surprisingly approachable for Amouage and honestly something I could see being signature-scent worthy. Down the line I’ll probably pick up a full bottle, but I have way too many other fragrances to properly go through before I even think about touching another bottle. Overall 8.6/10
went to the store to give this another chance, and tried it on a blotter again to see if i can bring myself to like it, but im not sure again and not getting the hype at all. this fragrance is mainly an amber scent, that VERY sweet vanillic honeyed sugary amber accord that is paired with slight labdanum feel, alongside the "amber", i smell a burned incense like feel and spicy like aromatics, slight rose like feel, some DRY monster like woody molecules is supporting the incense like feel also some citruses can be felt at the start too. the scent trail is SWEET and burned incense like. the scent FILLS my entire room for 24 hours with one spray on the blotter, and makes anything that touches the blotter smell and project like decision for 3-4 days very strongly, so a performance MONSTER and im very harsh on the performance rating of scents. i reckon why this is a "hit" just like the outlands, because its manly a performance monster sweet sugary appealing scent with hints of smoky spicy incense like feel to it, and its not a hard to like amouage at all. Also there is a cheap 10$ dupe called "revision" by wadi al khaleej that smells pretty identical to it, minus the atomic performance of og عطر امبری (وانیلی عسلی و قندی) بسیار شیرین که با آکورد اینسنس مانند و روایح معطر و کمی ادویه ای ترکیب شده.عملکرد اتمی
Almost every person says that this is masterpiece.. but many of them are new in fragrance world, sooooo... That kind of people are also impressed with naxos etc.. I will have to try it by myself.
Think Ingenious Ginger type of mold, without the fizzy ginger opening and with classic amouage touches in the dry-down. Sweet amber fragrance if anything. I don’t really see the freshness people are raving about. Great fragrance nonetheless.
This smells amazing. It smells unbelievable. There's the review.
My new favourite from house of amouage beast mode lasts all day and last for days on clothes even surviving multiple washes 10/10 fragrance. soon will be buying back up bottle of this masterpiece by Mr. Bisch
Beautifully blended. Fresh, but dark and slightly mysterious. Opulent. Lasts all day, and some! Very likable! Most people I've let smell it, say it’s a peculiar smell. Definitely in a good way! It better than purpose to me! Probably because I hate saffron.
Harsh opening. Way too strong for warmer weather, i dont know how they wear it in a warm country like Oman. Dry down is very incensey, like rubbing incense sticks all over your body. Not pleasant at all.
Another incredible fragrance from Amouage. Can be worn day or night, all seasons by both male and females. I dont think any other brand comes close to Amouage for elegance and uniqueness
Simply a MUST HAVE fragrance
Mr bisch have done once again, this is easily a 10/10 for me . Very good performance and the scent is to die for . It’s another banger from Amouage. Love it
I've disliked every fragrance I've smelt from Bisch. And then, he had to come out with this. Decision, although not the most daring in the Amouage catalogue, is just pure bliss. Wearable in any situation, it is an excellent scent. It's linearity actually has been slowly pushing it to the top of my favourites for the house. Where other fragrances show their complexity in the development of the scent over time, I actually prefer the straight line that Decision takes. It knows what it wants to be and whole heatedly commits to it (I guess this is connected with the naming). It isn't a simple designer linearity though, there is a uniqueness to the scent that does elevate its profile. I can see this breaking through my triumvirate of Jubilation XXV, Gold Man, and Memoir Man to become one of my top 3 fragrances from the house. 10/10
This is absolutely intoxicating. Literally in love, it is such an amazing fragrance. At first I couldn't even smell it.. after a few tests I understood the hype. Magnetic. Sensual. Unbelievably gorgeous.
This has quietly become my go-to fragrance these days. Morning, evening, office, casual... it honestly doesn't matter. It just works. Brilliant perfumery by a true master craftsman, feels incredibly personal to me, captures my personality, passion, and everything I love about perfumery. My absolute favorite part is the green Hojari frankincense accord. There's something magical about it. It smells exactly like opening a traditional incense pouch filled with fresh green Hojari resin and taking that very first deep breath. Pure bliss. To me, Decision sits right on the border between the Christopher Chong era and Amouage's modern direction. But why should I hold onto any nostalgic attachment to the past when creations like this exist today? Great perfumery is great perfumery, regardless of the era. Love, love... and just love. 100/10. ❤️
Ultimate special occasion
This is the ultimate summer fragrance. It has an incredible projection and exceptional longevity. If you appreciate the bold and luxurious character of Amouage fragrances, this one belongs in the same league. It leaves a memorable trail that people notice from several meters away. In a collection full of great perfumes, this is the one that dominates the room—once it's on, every other fragrance seems to disappear.
I love this fragrance. It really is a gorgeous release from Amouage. One thing that is a little shocking is that I haven’t seen anyone compare this fragrance to Naxos. I might be alone but I find them very similar in certain ways. They are slightly different and I don’t know which I prefer but I can definitely say that Decision is incredibly easy to wear
When I apply Decision to my clothes, it's one of my favorite scents of all time. However when I apply it to my skin, a couple hours in, this really annoying sort of sour smell starts to come out and it's pretty bothersome. I just avoid putting it on my skin and everything is fine. I wore decision in a thunderstorm on a warm night and something about it was very fitting, every time I wear it I think about getting drenched by the rain which is not a bad thing.
My bottle is on ebay if anyone is interested https://www.ebay.com/itm/147462959098
This really hurts a lot , if there was an award for most over rated fragrence or 2026 I would vote for this . Straight up lemon cleaner So synthetic smelling Don’t smell the amouage master blending
We have another one from Amouage today, and this time it's Decision, a fragrance that the brand says represents "the paradox that lies at the core of all life's most powerful decisions: it is focused on its goal while remaining open to countless possibilities." It's a bit of a confusing statement, but the idea seems to be having a clear goal while remaining adaptable in how you reach it. With that out of the way, let's see if Amouage achieved its own goal of making a great fragrance. The opening of Decision is one of the most nostalgic I've ever experienced in perfumery. It starts with a lightly sparkling pink pepper, a sweet touch of cardamom, and a wonderfully crisp, piney, almost gin-like aroma from the juniper berries. The bergamot is there too, though more as a subtle hint of citrus peel than a bright citrus blast. Even from the first spray, you can tell there's a resinous depth waiting underneath it all. Almost instantly, it brought back memories of walking through holiday light displays as a kid, or simply spending Christmas in an old wooden house. It's the smell of fresh pine filling warm wooden rooms, with the cold winter air just outside. It's incredibly evocative, and honestly one of the most unique openings I've smelled in quite some time. Around the 20 to 30-minute mark, the frankincense and myrrh begin to emerge, deepening the fragrance with a rich, comforting resinous character. Rather than changing the direction of the scent, they reinforce that Christmas atmosphere established in the opening. Historically, frankincense and myrrh are perhaps most famous for their appearance in the biblical Nativity story, where they were presented as gifts to the infant Jesus by the Magi. That connection makes their role here feel especially fitting alongside the fragrance's Christmas atmosphere. By the hour-and-a-half to two-hour mark, Decision settles into its base. Earthy patchouli carries the fragrance forward, while soft cedarwood adds a dry, refined woodiness. A cool, almost "cold" vanilla smooths everything together. It's not the warm, dessert-like vanilla you might expect, but one that softens the composition without taking away from its fresh, resinous character. Now, this isn't going to be a fragrance for everyone. Some people will say, "Amouage is going mainstream with this one," while others have criticized the decision (pun intended) to follow up Purpose with Purpose 50 and then Decision over the span of just a couple of years. With three Quentin Bisch fragrances with noticeable Akigalawood undertones arriving in that timeframe, comparisons were pretty much inevitable. And honestly, those criticisms are fair. But as with any fragrance, technical comparisons and creative direction only tell part of the story. Fragrance is deeply personal because our memories are deeply personal. What smells cold or unusual to one person can feel nostalgic and comforting to someone else. That's exactly what happened with Decision. It took me somewhere I hadn't thought about in years, and that's an experience I can't put a price on. Whatever the wider conversation around Decision may be, it connected with me in a way very few fragrances do. For me, it couldn't have landed much better.
Its an incomplete scent. I see people describing this as "luxurious" scent. To me its overpriced Franckincense essential oil. My nose smells nothing else. besides typical amouage frankinsense. I couldnt believe influencers hype this it was cloying and not fun to wear. People put this in there top 10s is concerning. I didnt even want to ask people around if they liked it cause it was so weird smelling. I get Amouage is middle eastern but damn yall like some stinky stuff. Just get outlands its still spicy frankinsense but adds a better drydown. or if you want wow get Interlude black Iris. Ik I shouldnt compare but as a review, its a scrubber for me. Im sure there a certain crowd for it but feels to flat for 10 hours and not enjoyable to wear+ being expensive isnt enough .
After getting a sample of this i need to get a full bottle of this very soon
Mehn I love this too much. The Spicy Bergamot & Juniper Berries with the very Spicy Vanilla? Major Obsession for me. This thing projects! I love this sooo much. I love Outlands for this same reason. Longevity is a No-brainer for Amouage so no long talk Needed. Only thing is it dries down minty but asides this, all is dandy.
I love this brand and all things Quintin Bisch. This is no exception. The combo of wood, incense and spice might make you think masculine but there is a luxurious sweetness in this that makes it truly unisex. Of course, this is only my opinion, but I really love this. I also have Epic 56 and Guidance 46 both of which are also woody, incense/spicy scents, so take that into account. As with those two previously mentioned from Amouage, the dry down is worth the wait!
I wanted to like this, but it has a weird medicinal note that’s really off-putting to me. It smells like something they used when I got stitches in my finger. Unfortunately, that’s all I can think of whenever I smell it. I’ll try to come back to this one in the future.
it is an ok perfume...I don't understand most some of the YouTuber pushing this perfume..must be got it for free from Amouage...honestly it is nothing special at all....the longevity is not that good..can last around 3 hours the most..
