Mod Vanilla

I love this fragrance and will buy it as long as I can. It is an easy to wear vanilla skin musk that is comforting and soft. It is inoffensive and as an RN I like to wear it to work. The musk is so beautiful on dry down. I also like to wear it to bed. My hubby says it smells like cotton candy. I agree! It's a love for me! Call me juvenile! Haha

i got this from my ex 4 years ago. back then, i really liked this scent. i wasn’t much into perfumes at the time, so i used it every now and then for about a year and then it started smelling too “plummy” for my taste as a white florals + vanilla girl. i get why people like it though

one of the sweetest vanilla fragrances I've tried. 🤍 At first spray, it honestly reminds me of sugar water. It doesn't open with a lot of complexity. As it dries down, though, it becomes much prettier. The vanilla starts to shine, along with a soft lactonic creaminess and a light powdery finish that makes it feel much smoother. I personally don't pick up the floral notes, and I don't really get any fruitiness either. On my skin, it's all about sweet vanilla with a clean, cozy dry down. I think it's a beautiful scent, especially if you enjoy simple, sweet vanillas. That said, I can also understand why some people might find it a little generic. It doesn't feel like a particularly complex or layered vanilla. Overall, its an easy-to-wear vanilla that's sugary, feminine, and has a lovely creamy dry down.

One of my favourite vanillas. I’ve had it for about two years now and I’m getting two backups soon. I know ppl say it’s typical but it’s so easy to wear and it feels so light. I didn’t realize it until now but it’s like a creamier vanilla version of cloud. At first I was underwhelmed until I realized how much I was actually reaching for it and how many compliments I was getting on it on the days I wore it. It’s a warm and cozy scent bubble and it’ll probably always be in my collection. I’m the type of person who always switches my perfumes around on a daily basis, but as I get older, I haven’t been doing that as often, but I always reach for this. It’s just really damn good!

Noooo...! It's the same DNA that has been done numerous times throughout the past few years - I should really not have blind-bought it! It has the same core as Wedding Silk Santal or Angham from Lattafa, with a strong Baccarat Roughe 450 note of ambroxan. On me, it's not really a vanilla perfume as much as it is very ambroxan-heavy, with freesia and praline/cacao butter. The ambroxan note is overwhelmingly strong - they can stop lying about it not being in there, cause I can TASTE it! When it starts fading, this also becomes very spicy for some reason - like a dry, non-sweet, pretty harsh spice. Very unpleasant smell to have on my clothes. I have several perfumes with the same kind of ambroxan note: Ana Abiyedh Rouge, H&M Ruby Touch, Armaf Club De Nuit Untold, Afnan 9 PM Rebel, Jerboam Kun Amo.... and now also 100 mL of this...! I'm REALLY tired of this super strong ambroxan! If you haven't amelt this kind of strong ambroxan before, it smells kinda like clinical-medicinal-sweet. A bit like at the dentist's office. I far prefer much weaker ambroxan, like Escentric Molecules Molecule 02 (which I wore for several years). I do like some spice in my perfumes, bit this one is one of the arare ones where I quite strongly dislike it.

This is good! It’s the exact same DNA strands as SDJ 40 and Vanilla Woods,so if you have one of those you really don’t need the others in my opinion.Not too sweet,a bit smoky and ambery with the plumb note radiating.I like this better for Fall.

I am usually not harsh. But this is so gross. I almost threw up, I might be pregnant though. It reminds me of cheap and basic Cloud and Burberry Her. I'm going to give it away.

i absolutely adore this it’s a take on vanilla that is new. i do agree that there is something in it that gives off a plastic vibe but nowhere near as bad as the plastic note in cloud. this is the ultimate clean girl vanilla (NOT gourmand at all.)

Favorite scent! It’s fresh and sweet, I love vanilla but it is not overpowering the way many vanilla heavy scents are. I love to layer this with Jazz club or something more smoky for a night out <3

This is probably one of the best vanilla fragrances I’ve ever smelled, it’s so creamy and buttery, to me it smells like white chocolate with vanilla while it also has this juicy feeling that comes from the plum note, and considering I own the body mist, it lasts for a very good amount of time on my skin. Easily one of Ariana Grande’s best fragrances.

one of my all time favorite perfumes. smells like delicious vanilla, very sweet and creamy. the mod bottles are very unique as well, kinda #living for that. def a winter wear kinda vibe but obviously can absolutely wear it all seasons 'round. also the scent literally lasts all day; could be 10 o'clock at night, after a long work day, the scent will still be on. as a signature vanilla girlie, im here to say this: ariana you did your big one with this perfume!!

As someone who loves a soft vanilla scent, this is absolutely gorgeous. It’s sweet and creamy without being overly cloying. The opening was a bit harsh when I first got it, but now I’m in love with the entire scent profile and it’s my current go-to when I’m in a vanilla mood. Honestly, trying to find another vanilla fragrance that hits every mark for me like this one has been a fruitless endeavor so far!

Beautiful vanilla, love the plum note in the opening. Have some of the BR540/cloud DNA in the background. Extremely sweet - and for that reason i think this is best for colder weather. Not too loud. Pretty good for a celebrity perfume

A simple vanilla, good to use when you want something easy and wearable, the bottle however is horrible.

whatcha guys talking about? is this a case of monkey see monkey do? this is definitely an overly sweet gourmand! i love it. even the diva herself ari described it as such. anyways i rediscovered this after a couple of years and im in looooove especially in the summertime

This is not a very sweet vanilla perfume. I kinda smell a bit of a burnt smoky vanilla in it, especially once it dries down.

I've been eyeing this perfume for a long time now, and I saw a really good deal (€22 for the 30ml version) that i just couldn't cave into. it does smell like cloud on the first spray, which I find a little off-putting personally, but the dry down is a beautiful creamy cacao-y vanilla. I'll have to see how it wears in colder weather

definitely wouldn’t say this is a gourmand fragrance, a lot more woody/musk forward with a sort of barely-there vanilla floral note. really good if you like a clean fresh slightly sweet musk scent, like “your skin but better”, but i don’t really get a gourmand vanilla at all for this one.

MOD VANILLA is a musky vanilla with a slight gourmand scent to it. I absolutely do not find it overly sweet at all. In fact I wonder if we are all smelling the same bottle. I think this is a great beginner scent for daily wear, the price point isn’t too crazy and the projection and longevity aren’t too bad. It does dry down to be very intimate, you’d have to be close to someone for them to notice this scent, of course after the projection dies off in about 4 hours.

It's a good perfume in terms of it being worth buying as a celebrity perfume, but there isn't anything special about it. I can understand Ariana Grande appealing this to her target audience, it is sweet and fun to wear so definitely for the younger woman. I will admit after 5 hours I can still smell this on my wrist, but it's a very intimate scent so maybe if someone hugs you they would smell it. I like it, and I am impressed with the longevity, but that's all... it's a bit basic otherwise.

It's... just okay. Not as mind-blowing as I thought it would be seeing it was pretty hyped up by some content creators I follow. I had a lot of problems smelling the vanilla in this. It mostly smelled like a subtle sweet but clean powdery musk where the musk comes off a little bit like baby wipes.

I now have the body spray of this. I was about to put it back but I told myself when would I find this again for $9? So I just bought it lol don’t think I’ll get the full perfume since I have so many other perfumes that I prefer over this one but I’m glad I have it now. It smells nice!

The plum and freesia in this makes it fresh enough for summer. If you’re looking for a non spicy/cakey/cookie vanilla, this is a good one to try. Still might be too sweet for some though. My only bugbear is the bottle. Looks cool, but it’s so awkward to spray.

Perfectly lovely alone but paired with YSL black opium glitter ...babe. I was repulsed by a plastic scent when I first got it but now I wear it so much. The plasticiness is.gone amd Its always in my.purse ready for the day. So sweet and easy to wear.

I would swim in this if I could Went to the store to test and buy mod blush, I had never smelled either of them before. I tested them both and left with mod vanilla the clear winner. I love how versatile it is, and it layers with almost anything beautifully. Reminds me of Kayali wedding silk santal

Does no one smell Baccarat Rouge54 in this one? I don’t know , to me this one feels like a more pleasant and softer version of that with vanilla, like a vanilla flanker of BR54… very pleasant I have to say. I find myself reaching for this in the summer though I wish the longevity was better.
