Marine, sweet like red berries/watermelon and a tad flowery. it reminds me of a sweet shampoo. Just got the bottle and the batch is from 2 months ago, will let it macerate to see if it improves. It’s definitely a youthful scent, maybe a bit too feminine leaning.
I had this years ago. It was one of my first-ever clones. I think I’ve grown out of it. The watermelon gives it a fruity, youthful feel, and I can’t really imagine wearing this to the office anymore. The woody notes are nice, but something about the combination just doesn’t come together for me. Maybe it needs more time to mature, but I’m not sure. Just okay. 5/10
When I first bought it, I was bitterly disappointed because the longevity is abysmal. But after I let it sit for months, its performance actually pretty decent ✨ the scent itself reminds me of Chanel Allure Sport
Please give the bottle a chance to sit after buying. I liked the decant I got enough to buy a full bottle and despised how the bottle smelled when it arrived with no identifiable notes. After about a month, it was almost 90% to my decant. Now I smell the red fruits and hint of the sea notes in my bottle. I get about 7 hours on skin with arm's length projection. The overall quality of ingredients is okay. This could be worn in almost any situation. I prefer spraying this one light, overspraying makes this one obnoxious.
I bought a sample of Creed’s variant as well as a travel sized Milestone. Absolutely loved the Creed but I had to respray just so my wife could smell it on wrist. Wonderful scent but appalling strength and I am not someone who cares about longevity…but if I’m spending 300.00 on a fragrance I want it to last more than an hour. Now on to Milestone. Milestone smells like red fruits, musk, sandalwood and ambroxin. It does not have any of the sparkle or complexity of the creed, but it gives the same vibe in a louder and more one dimensional way. I wore Milestone a handful of times and then forgot about it. Recently I came across it and thought I’d give it another go. I will say it has mellowed considerably and now has a creamy sandalwood aspect it did not have before. I even fooled my wife into thinking it was an expensive fragrance,(she has a fantastic nose.) I’m going to go ahead and order a full bottle as this profile is uncommon. If you live in high heat area watch your sprays. The red fruits really pumps in the heat and it can be overwhelming. Update. The full bottle arrived. I sprayed the year old travel spray on one wrist and the new fragrance on the other. The older variant ihas definitely mellowed and is less screechy. The new one has a very loud screeching musk vibe and the red fruits are kind of hiding behind that very loud screeching musk. I will give it some time and hopefully end up with something like the travel spray.
Very interesting fragrance, masculine, fresh and actually sweet from the red fruits...but the sweetness is not overpowering or anything like that. I'd say that it's pretty balanced, in the air smells fantastic and on skin is also good. If you like fresh aquatic fragrances this is the one for you, long lasting also.
I swear the worst fragrance you can get in your life -1000/ 10
Have two bottles; I love this one.
One of the worst fragrances in my collection. Smells salty and almost sour on my skin. Idk how people get compliments wearing this stuff, because to my nose at least, it ain't it. My fiancé hates it too.
Very sharp citrus with salt and some aromatics. Doesn't develop over time. Not really something I would want to wear if I'd want to smell pleasant. Similar to Sandflowers by Montale, but worse/more harsh.
This bottle has sat on my "not very likely" shelf for quite awhile. I don't think I even reviewed it before. ..but now, a bit bored with my usual suspects, I gave it another try. One arm, Milestone alone, and the other layered with Monotheme Venezia's Vanilla Blossom. This makes for a pleasant fascination, at least for today. The vanilla seems an added improvement, but alone is intriguing as well. Part of this newfound appreciation is surely the summer heat letting it properly 'open up'. ...but I do seem to be gradually becoming more amenable to some of these odd and trending notes of tangy metal and tinny salt, ...at least in certain sweeter compositions and more casual contexts. God help me.
This review is mostly a comparison between Milestone and MI since I think that's why most people are buying this and I think there's a lot of rubbish online that's said about this fragrance that is bordering on misinformation. Out of the gate I'll say: if you're buying this because you've smelled Millésime Imperial and have heard that this is borderline identical then you'll probably be disappointed. The similarities are superficial - some citrus and sea salt air but Milestone pulls these off very synthetically (it smells like a fruity cleaning product on opening) and is extremely loud to the point of screechy. This defeats the entire point of MI which is supposed to be a subtle, well-blended composition that deliberately sits close to the skin and isn't intended to be some sort of projection powerhouse. People who complain about MI not having enough projection miss the point - it's a fragrance for when you don't need to announce your presence before you've entered the room. Milestone does just that - it projects much more than MI, but in order to get it to do that it seems like they've filled it with quite a lot of cheap synthetics (as you'd expect, given the price) that create a very different scent and overall effect in the air. It also feels like they've addressed complaints about the supposed poor longevity of MI by making this a very linear fragrance that stays in the synthetic, fruity aquatic phase for much longer. Personally, I don't find MI to have poor longevity - it isn't always assaulting your nostrils but I'll find that hours later I'll still catch whiffs of it in the air, which is a clear sign that you've just gone noseblind to it and it is still doing its job. That's genuine sillage. The musk drydown is also much worse than the one in MI - MI stays fruity and pleasant, Milestone's skin scent phase (when it gets there) is not very pleasant and makes you want to wash it off. It's got that weird, pencil-shaving woodiness that cheap synthetic musks have. In terms of whether Milestone is a good scent in its own right - I don't really like it. Sillage from the same brand does a much better job of imitating the scent its copying. This, to me, just smells like a synthetic mess. There are other cheap aquatic scents out there that I'd recommend - Davidoff Cool Water is pretty cheap and, yeah, it smells like a teenager's body wash but at least it doesn't smell like a cleaning product.
Immediately after this released in 2019, I couldn't wait to purchase it since I LOVED Creed's MI but just couldn't afford a bottle. After I blind bought Milestone, the more I wore it, the more I sensed there was just something that was really affecting me negatively. (So I gave it away to someone who sincerely wanted it). During the past few years, watching two separate respected YouTube fragrance reviewers who both ADORE the fragrance--they each ultimately issued a standard caution saying that Milestone was more of a niche type fragrance and so not recommended for a blind buy purchase. Additionally, one described it as having "a slightly dirty musky" dimension, while another said it seemed to have a "root-y" nature to it.....both of those descriptions TOGETHER nailed it for me, as that is exactly what I was getting (maybe the combination of the musk and the vetiver??)......Importantly, this is not to deter anyone here from this fragrance, because to this day I WISH I could wear it, just wanting people considering it to know that in addition to it smelling on the niche side, some may also be affected due to what is most likely "personal body chemistry"--although MOST do not describe the scent having this quality. But all said, my ultimate recommendation would be to sample Milestone first, before committing to a bottle.
I'm OBSESSED with this fragrance fresh out of my new bottle and hope for even better things to come with some time. Definitely in my top tier of middle east fragrances to date. I love fragrances like Tom Ford's Costa Azzurra, Terre d Hermes Parfum and even Bois Imperial has grown on me quite a bit. Though not the same by any means if the aforementioned are in your wheelhouse, you'll love this one as well. For me, the red fruits are there but def in the background. I think that's why I like it so much. This one excites me!
Juicy opening. Definitely cantaloupe and green melon. Very ripe. Throw that off the side of a yacht and into the most beautiful crystal clear saltwater you’ve ever seen. Then jump in the water to go get it wearing a tuxedo. Everyone back on the yacht is so impressed they shower you with violets because roses weren’t available. And put that in a bottle. 10/10
First time using this. Just okay. Was a bit disappointed. Smells a bit weird. Maybe it's the first time use or my batch is bad. Can't pinpoint what it is, but not pleasant. Like something burned. In the air smells better. Off skin not good. Like something burned or rotten.
Watermelon with and spicy and salty touch, its a 7/10 for me bc its kind of weak and doesn't last long on my skin
I bought this fragrance in january. At first it did not smell that great. I left it to macerate until today. It is a hot day where I am. I decided to try it out. Beautifull scent and clone of Creed MI. Performs great in high heat.
This salty watermelon clone of Creed Millésime Impérial is a prime example of the necessity of maturation for some fragrances. It was terrible a couple months ago when I bought it, to the point where I was trying to look up whether or not I got a bad batch. Initially all I could smell was perfumer's alcohol and something very loud/screechy that I couldn't put my finger on. The method to address was getting a 10ml decant and spray directly into it, injecting more than enough oxygen into the bottle while giving me something to test on an accelerated basis in the decant. From there I would check on it weekly. After a week it was alcohol and seaweed (progress?), at 2 weeks it was less sharp on the alcohol but no fruit, at 4 weeks saltiness and ghost of a watermelon, at 6 weeks light watermelon saltiness. Now it is over 2 months since when I started the process. Milestone opens with a bright blast of sea salt, bergamot, and red berryish watermelon note. The heart then quickly develops into a salty, more melon-like, and powdery violet scent before eventually settling into a robust musk and ambroxan base. Where this will really shine is deeper into summer as the salty melon interacts with overhead sun baking one's skin.
Where’s the 1:1 that many are claiming? The original does not have this cloying melon note 😅 it’s an okay fragrance but this is not close to me lol. Maybe the comparison is to an older batch?? Definitely not matching up to my creed sample
Just a stunning fragrance for the price. Purchased a few months ago, initially weak and really overpowering alcohol! As recommended by so many I left it in the box and stashed in the cupboard. As we are going through a heatwave in the UK right now I decided to give it another whirl as it's primarily a warmer weather scent. WOW, what a difference! All the notes are there and the initial blast whilst noteworthy isn't massively overpowering. Withing 5 minutes it settles down having developed into a stronger aroma, projecting beautifully over a metre with a gorgeous trail to match. Aromatic, marine notes along with bergamot and red berries combine with musk, smoky vetiver and woods to produce something very, very close to Creeds Millesime Imperial. I have to say that this is an even better performer than the esteemed houses offering too! Absolutely no need for the casual wearer to spend the £££s, this will do the trick for 99% of the population! I can't remember the cost, i think I paid around £20-£25 GBP. Absolutely stunning value for money. I guess you could wear this anywhere or anytime but for me its a warmer weather scent that could transition from a day in the sun to an evening out straight after, no problem at all. Reasonably unisex, probably for the 30+ demographic. Its lasting for a full day, especially on clothing, before becoming a salty, fruity skin scent. One last thing, it amplified and was popping off of my skin even stronger and longer when I was outdoors in the heat, this was an hour or two after spraying! This is one hell of a fragrance for so little expenditure.
it's weird, some days i love it, and some days i only smell metal. but.. for the price, the longevity, the projection, it's great. i never smelled the og creed
Almost gave this away because of the opening but if you wait 30 min, it completely changes and gets pretty good. Glad I kept it
This is one of my favourite scents for summer time, projects so nicely in the hot climate. Bought my first bottle 2 years ago, was wearing it often end of summer in Spain got a lot of compliments. Then I wore it in Thailand almost everyday for 2 months and it just radiates of my skin so nicely in the extreme heat, it’s a must have in my collection. Had so many compliments from women and men. This will always give me good summer vibes and nostalgic feeling from Thailand and summer in Spain.
It smells good but doesn't project even moderately. It is more like an intimate only. Not bad but nothing stood out special.
Follows suit with the CDNIM line, highly synthetic and weird. I see the idea it was going for, but could not stand the execution. Skip this and at least get a balanced synthetic bomb like Nautica or something🤣
Opening to me, if you ever tried the red salted Mexican candy, it smells how that tasted. Which was off putting at first because I didn’t care for that candy. After a few minutes, that violet and woods, start to come through adding depth to this and removed that candy smell. This is smooth and very nice. More airy than dense, so it’s not beast mode room filler. Glad I bought the 6.8oz. Will be spam spraying this all summer. I recently got nitro gold, and outside of salted watermelon, these are different as this is not a hybrid while Nitro Gold is. Nitro is louder denser. This is smoother and more elegant and airy IMO. I enjoy them both as they serve different purposes.
Had it in the past and back then in was meh Now i rate it 9/10
At the moment it smells like an odd salty cucumber with tajin. Looks like this is my first L, will leave it to maturate for a month or so. See if it gets any better. Will come back to update, so far my worst purchase :/
READ THIS BEFORE DECIDING TO BUY!!! Blind-bought this batch(#400223) two years ago -Terrible. Left it to macerate for a year -still terrible. Left it for two -Again terrible but with added benefit of paint pealing off of the area around the atomizer. It smells like oversalted ambroxan - chemical and off-putting. It is the worst smelling salt scent i ever had to experience. I would rather buy the original Creed if it only had longevity for more than 3 hours. I asked over 20 people at work during a warm Spring season for their opinion, and not even one had complimented it. It is so bad that even for free noone wanted to take it off my hands so instead of throwing it away i use it after taking a dump. Can't speak for the whole brand but this experience alone prevents me from ever approahing another flankers from them, let alone touching them.
