My ultimate summer favorite.. a hidden gem that smells like fields in heaven

This fragrance is suitable for spring, with lovely abstract flowers and a touch of synthetic honey. It has a charming air of innocence, like well-behaved and happy kids sitting under orange trees.

Bought on a whim having never smelt this before. I'd describe it as a lovely green floral. The opening definitely seems to hold some kind of citrus though no citrus notes are listed - perhaps it's the cactus - having never really considered the scent of a cactus before, I can't comment 😅 The florals are very green and clean to my nose. Tuberose is listed but I don't really pick much of that up - it's more of a gardenia/jasmine scent tempered with neroli to my nose. It's stays very bright and clean throughout wear. The dry down is lovely - slight woody notes and a hint of white musk. It lasts fairly well - better in fact, than many of it's more expensive counterparts. I'd say a good 5/6 hours on skin and longer on clothing. Sillage is politely present. A truly lovely white, spring floral. Suitable for daily wear and multiple occasions. It wears nicely and has an interesting evolution on skin. Really quite an intriguing, well composed perfume. I think this is a right wee gem at a really great price - well worth it 👌

Avon's Today is a charmingly light, but still quite complex polyfloral scent. Neither too green nor too white; ...bright, but honeyed too. An odd sense of powder could be from that rarely summoned Buddleja accord. Certainly the spiciness of freesia and 'bubblegum' of tuberose are evident. However, some notes are only fantasy accords (Strelitzia is scentless). The woody musky drydown is less intriguing than the top, ...but adequate. There is some distinction here, certainly worthy and wearable. Stereotypically for Spring, but of course whenever is fine.

In the same family as Arden's fifth Ave - musky soapy floral. Not sweet, not fresh either. Smells old school and kinda cheap. Not good performance either. Bottle is nice but I'll pass.

Pretty at the start, but on my skin it turns too floral and a bit soapy. Not bad, just not really my style.

Beautiful, airy, classy, elegant scent. It opens strong, but soon turns into a skin scent. I like it a lot, but its longevity is really poor on my skin.

smells like white flowers and lilac to me, it's fresh and sunny, but there's this pollen like sweetness or something that reminds me of it that really puts me off. i wouldn't wear it, but i do think it's nice and perfect for a spring wedding. i got many compliments as well!

My favorite, by far, of the TTA. Fresh, elegant white floral. I like white florals. The opening felt citrusy, and there are no citrus notes here, so I suppose that was cactus. It has kind of mature feel to it, but not in an old lady way, more a 40-year-old way. Unlike many other Avon scents, this one has some silage (I haven’t tested on other people yet, but I can definitely feel it without sticking nose into my wrist). I will definitely purchase a full set and enjoy this often

Today opens with a beautiful burst of white petals (boy, that jasmine sure is something!) with a relatively exotic profile to follow. To my knowledge, neither strelitzia or hibiscus have particularly strong scents. As for cactus, I couldn't say what I was looking for. Who thinks up these concoctions? Well, no matter - I'm a fan! While carrying the classic musky undertone of so many other floral perfumes, Today's fresh accords breathe life into what could otherwise have been quite a dated scent. I think this would work well for any age and any occasion - whether going to work or a wedding. It isn't cloying, sickly-sweet or overly powdery like other fragrances I've sampled (looking at you, Gabrielle!). A perfect harmony of floral and fresh, Today carries all the makings of a true classic. Chanel should take notes!

stunning, elegant, has all the elements to make a beautiful white floral. what i smell most here is honeysuckle- my favourite flower. for a blind buy, i really lucked out. i’m amazed at the longevity, it clings on to your clothes and skin for the entire day. and though i love it, my friend is so obsessed i gave it to her. so i will definitely be perusing more avon scents now.

I am sure I wore this in 2000, before leaving my hometown. Why do they say 2004? Beautiful elegant perfume, could be signature scent. The lasting power is not the best, but I don't mind.

This is a bright white sunny floral, with a soft and appealing romantic profile. Very feminine and bridal - I can envision a bride wearing this during a beautiful outdoor wedding. Maybe even a romantic wedding on a beach as it has a beachy feel to me, though not in the typical coconut/sunscreen construction. The floral profile is more on the line of Giorgio Beverly Hills and VC&A's California Reverie, though much more reserved than the former and much less shy than the latter. While I like it, it does have performance issues of starting out strong but quickly becoming a skin scent. From what I understand, this had been reformulated at one time, but what I tried was the original version. If the performance isn't so great on this, I can't imagine the reformulation being any better.

I have tested this fragrance as a 10ml tester, it's One of Avon's Best Seller Classics, Cozy fresh pure clean perfume, it's exactly like you have smelled white flowers bouquet with Cactus and musk came from the background, the other ingrediants are not clear to my nose, the scent of tubesrose, Stephanotis "it's like Jasmine scent" and musk the most mix scents are very clear. This perfume in the dry down is very similar to "Eros Pour Femme Versace" perfume in the middle notes. For my own taste, I prefer more mature scents Like "Ameerat Al Arab Asdaaf", "L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Givenchy" or "My Way Giorgio Armani" perfumes. If you searching on white flory clean cozy perfume, I advise you to test this perfume or purchase the mini size 10ml before buying the full size if it available with the seller. Very suitable to be a scent for the morning or using it after shower, it's suitable to wear it during the day at summer and spring seasons, It lasts 6 hours on the leather and one day on the clothes. I can summarize the Today in three words: fresh, floral and musky. Except really cold weathers, one can wear this any time. It has also the Incandessence vibe too. For Turkish users, it might remind the traditional lemon colognes a bit in the first spray. After some time, one can smell the floral notes. It really deserves its fame.

Wow. I just bought this, I was interested in the feelings it would evoke as it’s the first fragrance that I came across.. It instantly transported me to 2004. I was in school and skipped classes with my friend and she would have her mom’s catalogue, we would always scratch the perfume paper. I have tears in my eyes! THIS is the scent of my teens. Such a suave scent, light, airy, clean. Not too powdery, not too soapy. Smells like my childhood best friend’s hair. I just texted her to tell her how much I miss the good times we had. We are still close friends but now live in different countries. I am obsessed with this wonderful fragrance now. It makes me so nostalgic. First crush, the stress of passing exams, running away from home to do camping lol. When I would be dragged by my mom to her hair appointments, I would sit and look through magazines, this scent was always present. It’s a jewel. I have to stock up and save it for my future children. Sadly, of course, it doesn’t last.. but the sillage is AMAZING. Clean, fresh-floral scent, a cactus and tuberose delight.

In the early aughts, there was a burgeoning jewelry trend; three stone diamond engagement rings. These three stones were meant to signify the past, the present, and the future. The upper echelons at Avon released "Today, Tomorrow, Always", perfumed by none other than (late '90s-early 2000s perfumery superstar) Olivier Cresp. Great timing, the year 2004, and clearly a bridal perfume to capitalize on this trend. The next year, it won a FiFi. Three stone engagement rings are very much a trend of the past, yet "Today" has proven to be a steady seller for Avon since its release, to the surprise of no one. It's an impressive floral perfume, and it's sold at a shockingly low price point. Lovely opening. There are dewy, refreshing watery notes in the top, with some light, clean neroli. I don't normally think perfumes capture gardenia very well, but I pick up on a buttery, waxy gardenia smell in the top. Maybe something involving aldehydes? As it dries, the tuberose comes forward. It's creamy, fleshy, and translucent simultaneously, and it has a fruity, juicy quality to it. The heart is filled out with orange blossom (the "sour grape" type), there's some crisp, green lotv, and a colorless, creamy jasmine note. In the grand style of most contemporary florals bouquets, the base is Clean Musk Xtreme™, and you better believe it lasts all damn day. It smells as though Mugler released a flanker for Alien that borrows inspiration from summer garden parties, rather than their usual science fantasy aesthetic. Another thought: maybe a tuberose forward, dry-woody spin on J'Adore. More than anything, it reminds me of Jean Patou's 1000 in a liquid roll-on deodorant form. A big, beautiful, masterfully blended white multifloral. It's astounding what famous, talented perfumers can do on such tight budgets. I am liable to agree with the other comments. Avon Today gives the designer floral perfumes a run for their money. I daresay it outperforms a lot of the competition.

Well...this one surprised me! I was convinced for years, that I had already smelt this one, and wasn't particularly impressed! I had ordered a bundle of 10ml Avon travel sprays (in various fragrances) and this happened to be one of them! Of the whole bundle...this was the one I like the most....and I realised that I hadn't actually ever smelt it previously! This is a "starched" white floral fragrance! Those of you old enough to remember the scent of starch when ironing clothes (mens shirts mostly) will hopefully know what I mean! Starch has a very particular scent, and I have always loved it's clinically clean smell...and this little Avon gem has that exact replication of clean starched shirts! After receiving the fragrance bundle and sniffing them all, this was the fragrance I chose to wear that day, which included a kids party at a soft-play centre, many of you know what they smell like, and they are not the best, grubby toddlers with no socks on and fried food! This Fragrance cut through the "soft-play" smell so beautifully and I had this wonderful sun-warmed, airy floral fragrance enveloping me the whole 2hours! I couldn't have picked a better clean floral for the situation. I have since ordered a gift set of this fragrance and am looking forward to wearing this on a regular basis during the spring and cooler summer days. It is so uplifting and a real treat for the reasonable price. This Fragrance very much reminds me of Philosophy's "Pure Grace" The starchy florals are very similar and give the same effect (Today being the stronger, longer lasting version) "Nude" by Jasper Conran is also something to try if you like clean florals/gentle tuberose fragrances, there are differences, but are in the same family.

Utterly effervescent... and it immediately uplifts my mood. It's sunshine in a bottle ☀️

it Smells very realistic honeysuckle. Longevity and sillage is not very elek but if consider the price the scent is very precious.

This fragrance will forever remind me of my mother getting ready to go out, back in the early 2000s. It always felt very adult, very "put together". I hope I can get my hands on a bottle for myself.

The base notes include warm and warm notes such as sandalwood and musk, which add a lasting and pleasant depth to it. This perfume creates a romantic and elegant atmosphere, a choice suitable for both day and evening use. It can be a great choice for those looking for a soft but impressive perfume!

I bought this in a sampler set and I'm actually liking this. The cactus note is very potent and interesting. Before I even knew the notes I was thinking "this smells like I'm standing in the middle of a palm house, the part were the cactus plants are, some blooming, some not blooming". It's quite light and sweet, innocent and playful. Again, imagine yourself standing in a palm house next to palm trees, lots of exotic plants and, most importantly, cactus plants. I can imagine this being amazing paired with anything aloe vera or green tea. It's actually quite interesting and different. This is a spring/summer scent for daytime in a park. It can be worn in an office for sure. It's not that strong and inoffensive. I would use the word "cute" and "pretty" to describe it.

I agree with the review I read by Sergey here. This perfume is a parade of flowers. Very heavy with neroli, Stephanotis (wedding flower for good luck) and orange blossom. Jasmine, tuberose, honeyed butterfly bush, gardenia, and rose water. I feel white roses here too. This perfume screams Bride. It is soft but still has presence. Honeyed, creamy, green. I see a large bridal bouquet of white, pink, mauve and peach flowers with hand cut stems tied in a lovely lace ribbon. The musk is subtle here and compliments the florals instead of overpowering them. I have many white florals in my collection but this is unique enough that I want a FB of this. My husband usually hates white florals but loves Today. Buying vintage made in USA (such a shame this iconic American brand is American no more) Avon on eBay has been a lot of fun and the fragrances are all gorgeous. I bought vintage minis of this line will buy vintage made in the USA FB of them all. Wonderful line. For those that love beautiful perfumes and have a romantic heart ❤️

pretty and warm scent on me. definitely musky but not obnoxiously so and it's still sweet and slightly floral without being overbearing. you could definitely layer something else with this scent but it performs fine on its own. most of the TTA range work amazingly with my body chemistry for some reason, even though most avon fragrances are quite hit or miss for a lot of people

The opening gives me a headache it tickles something in my head I feel it everytime I wear this but sometimes, I recover when I go outside immediately. After 6 hours others still smell it on me and it radiates beautifully. The cactus note is very interesting, green, uplifting and slightly bitter don’t get me wrong, This is such a pretty and feminine scent but not a sweet bubble-gummy immature scent. It smells like a KIND, ELEGANT AUNT. This fragrance is not too sweet, it indeed is very delightful and makes you smile and there’s something very nostalgic about the scent. Overall for 8usd it’s a great deal. I can easily say this has quality of an expensive perfume. A day time perfume, not for formal occasions. If you want a beautiful serious, musky white floral that is subtle and won’t give you a headache I recommend Narciso Rodriguez for her (edt) and if you want a young, clean and woody bubble gummy sweet white floral I recommend L’interdit Givenchy edp. For extra elegance, I layer these 2. (YES I am a white floral girly as u can notice)

Without having read the comment below, once I tried it, I immediately thought this would be great for a wedding and should I just save it for that occasion. Beautiful white floral, slightly soapy as well. Very innocent, very pretty. Lasts half a day on my skin.
