Azzaro Chrome Extreme

Nice smell , but artificial and no good citrus here either.And a bit boring . Over hyped , because is cheaper and similar to ADG Profondo.

Definitely inspired by Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Giò Profondo, but with more emphasis on citrus and less sweetness imparted by the juniper berries. For comparison sake to even Lattafa Liam Blue Shine I think that leans a bit more towards Profondo Parfum with Chrome Extreme further towards OG Profondo. Extreme opens with a zesty green mandarin, flips into a heart of salty sea notes and crisp juniper berries that give a touch of that Profondo sweetness, before settling on a warm base of cashmeran and amber. It's pleasant.

I have around 200 fragrances. This one is my GOAT. It simply smells amazing. Similar to Aqua di gio profondo but better IMO. Yes it's a freshie and typical blue fragrance but it is done very nicely. Not juvenile, yes mass appealing, but that's OK. A fragrance in its most basic form is just supposed to smell good and this one does one better and smells GREAT. If this fragrance is discontinued as I've heard then Liam blue from Lattafa or Raess from Aribiyat prestige (the blue bottle) will suffice (I have both as well, fan of the DNA) but Chrome Exteme is the best one. Yes even better than the OG Profondo IMO.

I wish they didn't discontinue this one. Sweet citrus opening and a nice clean dry-down that lasted all day.

Have a travel size that was part of a set. Its not available anywhere. 10/10

This is one of the pound for pound best budget freshies ever made. It punches above its price point in terms of quality and performance. Not niche level but definitly not in the price range you can/used to be able to purchase it for. I have to respectfully disagree with Nkbn below. This does not smell like aqua essenzial blu. No where nearly as sweet.

im struggling to understand how so many people praise this fragrance as "the best summer fragrance" while for me it smells exactly like Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Blu which is the most boring fragrance ever. Smells like those cheap fragrances you find in covenience store in a village. Its not horrible but cmon, you cant tell me its the best summer fragrance. Light Blue Intense for men is in my opinion more suitable for the best summer fragrance title. it smells like sea and salt, while Chrome Extreme smells sweet, childish, young, immature, not blended well etc.

Best summer fragrance at this price but they discontinued it.... shame

For some reason the amber really pops off my skin putting it in the area of cool water intense

People are comparing this masterpiece with Armani’s profondo, I simply do not agree with them. This is unique. I bought second bottle of this today, however this has been officially discontinued but lucky to find one. This has been such an underrated fragrance having potential of being high end or niche perfumes. Such a rare combination of citrusy marine fresh and good longevity. It’s a must must buy for every guy of any age. You can go for blind buy trust me. Superb fragrance by Azzaro.

amazing salty soothing quailty that is lacking in profondo, mineral notes make adq banger yes...but counterpoint the fruitiness is stronger in this and this is cheaper.

This is amazing for the value-quality. Yes its kinda the same aquatic freshie, but this hits good. This smells amazing and will get you compliments. Either that you smell good or that reminds them of something that smell good. Either way is a win. You can't go wrong with this in any situation. Try it on a 5 ml decant.

This is more orange/mandarin than aquatic and i believe this is what afternoon swim should have smelt of and not the childish candy afternoon swim we got, this just needs more longevity to fit the bill

This is amazing. It's fresh, deep, refreshing, calming. Close to ADG Profondo but better. I spray it on early in the morning, what a scent. 11/10.

I’ve been spending some time with Chrome Extreme and honestly, it surprised me. The opening hits with a blast of citruses and a salty aquatic accord that immediately sets it apart from the classic Chrome DNA. It still has that clean, metallic freshness that people know from the line, but here it’s deeper, darker, and more grounded. The sea notes mix with green mandarin and it gives off this almost mineral, slightly sharp edge that feels very modern. As it develops, the amber and juniper start to come through, adding some warmth and depth while keeping everything fresh and energetic. It never gets sweet or heavy — instead it balances freshness with just enough body to feel more mature than the original. Longevity and projection are very solid for an aquatic style fragrance. On my skin I get around 5-6 hours with a noticeable presence in the first few. To me, Chrome Extreme feels like the more serious, adventurous brother in the Chrome family. Perfect for summer, casual wear, or even a fresh signature scent if you want something aquatic with backbone.

This scent has a juicy opening with the mandarin top note that last on my skin for 1.5hrs. As it develops, the marine notes and juniper berries takes over into a stormy, deep blue scent. After the storm has calmed, you travel into the eye of the storm. You will smell the subtle yet comforting cashmere and amber notes. This is one of those 'summer's scents you can wear during winter due to its nature. This scent is basic but versatile, crowd-pleasing and lasting. Those factors make this a perfect office scent - moreso than the ADG line. Easily one of my top 5 all year around scent. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: Arm's length

This is the one of the underrated fragrance but believe me it pull punches, some compare it to shower gel, or AdG profondo, it’s fresh, fruity sweet ,long lasting on skin even longer on clothes, a compliment getter especially when it’s hot outside it speaks ,a definition of dark freezing ocean . Those who want a long lasting freshie I think this will do even for an everyday fragrance.

It's an awesome fragrance. You're basically buying a inexpensive Acqua Di Gío/ADG flankers. It's fresh, citrusy, green, and aquatic. It lasts 10-12 hours on skin and all day on clothes. It can't get any better than that.

Someone said I smelled like fresh pages in a new book. And now that's all I smell when I wear this. 😄

i was given a vial of this by a classmate in the 9th grade. i have barely touched it since. i find it incredibly strong, if even a drop touches my skin i smell it all day. it's very very sharp, with a lot of citrusy and watery notes that i don't really find myself enjoying. it feels sort of juvenile as well, in a way i don't enjoy (which is truly weird because i really like typically juvenile scents.) it's nice for the memories, though.

Simply put - imagine smelling a citrus by the ocean. It is really nice and masculine - fresh, marine, zingy citrus with good performance. The bottle is a bic problematic since my bottle leaks, but the freshness and versatility made me buy a backup bottle. Worth it!

This scent is for children. Its nothing complex. Safe blue generic scent. Best suited voor boys around 12 years old. If youre a man there are a lot better choices. But if you want to stay at chrome then azzaro chrome pure is the best choice out there. Thats a great mature sweet fresh scent for men.

Just bought this today. Amazing smell, definitely picking the citrus and sea notes. Performance is weak, 3hr~ on skin. On clothes maybe 5.

IT HAS SAME VIBES A COMBINATION OF ADG PROFONDO, BVLGARI AQUA MARINE AND NAUTICA VOYAGE! SMELLS GREAT UNFORTUNATELY PERFORMANCE IS WEAK DOESN'T LAST 3HRS ATLEAST

I have both Profondo EDP and Parfum and both have a note that is off on my skin. In EDP its that mineral note, and in Parfum, it thst sweet ambery note that doest develop good on my skin. Chrome Extreme is in the middle and lacks those notes so its much more smoother and nicer on me. True it lacks that armani quality touch but it smels better.
