Warm Vanilla Sugar

War flashbacks from middle school... It does smell good, like brown sugar. However for me and many others it seems to harbour a hint of trauma along with it. It does smell similar to Sweet Tooth, which explains why it's one of my favourite perfumes atm. The only difference would be that Sweet Tooth has a more detailed scent profile. Overall, WVS is still a fragrance icon.. that we conveniently seemed to leave back in middle school.

i hate this the same way i hate bare vanilla. it smells dusty. they're both made at L brands so they're probably both using the same nasty dusty synthetic blends.

I honestly struggle to tell apart from Victoria's Secret Bare Vanilla. I know a lot of people say they're different. Some describe one as more mature and elegant while the other feels younger or sweeter. But on my skin, they're actually much more similar. Looking at the scent notes, Warm Vanilla Sugar definitely seems more complex on paper. I don't really pick up those extra layers. To me, it smells exactly like its name. It's sweet, cozy, comforting, and has that soft vanilla warmth. I can see why some people might call it youthful because of the sweetness, but at the same time I don't think it smells childish. There's something about that warm vanilla that still feels soft, elegant, and comforting. For me, this is the perfect fragrance for bedtime or a cold evening. 🤍 It's the kind of scent I want to wear while relaxing under a blanket with the air conditioner on.

smells so heavy, smoky and woody sweet vanilla on me... not the biggest fan

Surprised by the reviews. I find this to be a very deep spicy vanilla. No floral notes to me. Very in your face, screeching opening. If I had to describe this simply I'd have to say: "sharp burnt sugar"...? Not powdery, pretty thick. Tops notes for me (in order of intensity): Cacao, Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Sugar, Sandalwood.

oh... so boring. There is much more sophisticated affordable perfumes that linger for longer. I really don't see what all the hype is about. It's just so sweet, slightly floral and basic. Hard pass.

UGH i want to own this but i cant just bring myself to buy it. i really love this whenever i go on a bbw store and this is the first thing that i'd spray on myself when i have the chance to but i really cant get myself to buy it. maybe it's because its basic? its basic but i cant really smell it on other people. i love it tho. its cozy, huggable, and yummy scent. but i feel like it could get cloying since its heavy on vanilla. this would be realllyyy good if the weather is cold tho.

Sweet vanilla. A little bit more sophisticated than other B&BW scents. I used this scent nearly everyday in my early highschool years. It's good, definitely youthful though.

Smells like straight up alchohol when you first spray it. Once the alchohol sent goes away you're left with a very very faint smell of vanilla that's barely there. It reminds me of a pudding almost. I got dizzy trying to sniff out the sent. I bought it on a whim thinking it would smell like creme-bruleé...

I used to sweat like crazy in the 8th grade with this scent on, and it made me smell like ballsack, idk how people were my friend back then. Other than that, this scent is nice I guess

This years 2026 mist incarnation smells more similar to the original but accompanying body care is pretty plasticy smelling for me. This smell, or even the diluted revamp of it will always be in my collection for nostalgic purposes.

One of my favorites from bath and body works. a basic vanilla,great for layering.

This scent is not gourmand at all its a very clean, almost soapy vanilla? It smells exactly like the name, vanilla and sugar but its very basic. Its not a pretty vanilla, its not classy, its not delicious, its like you used vanilla body wash in the shower and just stepped out, might be because of the florals? Would not recommend

mmmmm okay after wearing this a couple times i really am starting to pick up on the playdoh smell. no sweet fresh baked vanilla aroma like fresh cream/warm cashmere even tho it's listed as a dupe. it's very close but without the sweetness or cashmere darkness, it mingles with my skin oils to dry down into something weird and plastic. like a mcdonalds playplace that's been well oiled by greasy toddler fingers. i love this as a candle tho

Classic. Probably one of my all-time favorite vanilla frags. I will always have her in my collection. She reminds me of my younger days of partying and strip clubs. And she has definitely held up over time, even though there has definitely been a reformulation somewhere along the way. The og WVS does beat the newer juice, but the new is still amazing. Recently discovered The Dua Brand has a dupe called Vanilla Warmth Sweetness that’s spot on, which is great for layering.

omg this is like getting a warm hug <3 it smells like a frosted sugary cupcake and i love the nutty notes in them they are so warm and yummy, like oh my gosh!! its also not polarizing and not too sugary that you will hate since its a pretty old scent but i literally want to guzzle it down FREAKING delish :3

would be absolutely perfect if it wasn't so weak...it's used to its fullest when layered though, which is a good enough consolation for me. vanilla bean frosting with brown sugar.

Smells like middle school in a beautiful way 🥲 who said that bath and body works could Imprint on my childhood?? 🥲 I'm not even the biggest lover of guramond perfumes, and maybe it's because it's last all of three minutes before vanishing to the 3rd dimension, but it's soft and hugs you in a warm, sweet hug 😭💥💥💥💥♥️ I had to bang my hands on my desk because it's just that heart warming 🥲 value and nastolgia are carrying this review entirely 🥲 10/10!!!

Maybe I like this vanilla because i dont actually like vanilla notes, but every perfume I like happens to have vanilla in it. This is more sugar-forward and less vanilla.

It's a typical, classic vanilla scent. Would give a better rating if the sillage was greater and it would last more than 20 minutes on my skin. Good for night time sleeping and good for layering with another mist. Otherwise, it's about average 5/10

Smells exactly like VS Coconut Passion, which I really don't like and I just got this one as a Valentines Day Gift and I wanted to cry, lol.

genuinely sickening. makes me violently nauseous whenever i smell it, and has permanently scarred me from strong vanilla scents.
