Tabac Rose

One of the best Rose and Tobacco Combo. Blind bought. Middle to a Mature Rose then added of Tobacco and Fruity note. One time, i tried overspraying this. Yes, i got complimented by my brother but in a negative way. I'm telling you that this frag has a really good projection. It can give headache to others. Still this is one of my fave frags of all time. The chocolate note is quite present in the drydown. Ambery choco-ey woody. 2-4 spray is ok for daily or you can add if you are in the event/special day.

I may puchase a full bottle of Tabac Rose. It leans femenine, especially in its opening stages, but I really like it. It performs very well on skin, and it stays on clothes for days. As always, test it before buying it. Not everyone will appeeciate this honeyed vanilla Tobacco-Rose-Gourmand scent profile.

I don't merely hate this fragrance, I loathe, detest, despise and abhor this fragrance. My first impression (honest) was Cherry Robitussin. As time went on, it got more sour. So, Sour Cherry Robitussin (?) is where I landed on this, I guess.

Some time ago, I experienced Tabac Rose for the first time at a blind fragrance tasting in Bogotá, Colombia. I didn’t know what I was smelling at first, but it was love at first sniff. It had this boozy quality paired with a lush, opulent rose and a sort of chocolatey tobacco. It felt rich and creamy—almost like a robust, velvety texture that I absolutely adored. I knew right then that I had to have it in my collection. Later, I bought a bottle from a collector, and while it still had that spark I loved, I noticed it had changed a bit. Perhaps it was a different batch, but the rose was now even more prominent—bold, elegant, and very opulent. You really have to love rose to enjoy it. The plum and pink pepper in the opening create a beautiful contrast that fades as the rose takes center stage. And let me tell you, this perfume lasts forever and projects beautifully. In the end, while that initial “drunken rose” impression still rings true, I do miss a bit of the chocolate-tobacco depth that was more intense in the older bottle I first tried. It’s still a fantastic fragrance—just one that’s evolved over time.

This is just okay but there is a note that is very off-putting that ruins everything for me. There are many better options with this DNA. NOTE this is not blind buy worthy!

Dunhill Egyptian Smoke, but the Dunhill is nicer, although this lasts longer.

A love out of left field.I got to try this one with a sample i was gifted from a local niche fragrance spot and boy oh boy did they put me on.I probably wouldn’t have even ever bothered to try this because I don’t really enjoy rose,don’t particularly own rose forward fragrances,and probably wouldn’t really reach for them all that much even if I were to.But this one has such an intoxicating and unique composition that I just have to have this.Maybe it’s due to my experience falling short,but I’ve never smelled anything like this.Yes,this is a sweet,jammy rose,but rose is not the main actress,the bewitching plum reigns first and oh my god do i love it.Afterwards,rose.I don’t get the chocolately aspect all that much but the drydown is to die for as well.All of the notes truly complement and work with eachother in a way that results in a truly beautiful and enticing piece of work.I can’t stop smelling my arm each time I spray it on and I’ve had my sample for a few weeks now.I spray and smell it just to make myself feel better and almost out of compulsion at this point.Oh,and did I mention the sillage and the performance is monstrous? Tabac rose honestly currently ticks all the boxes for me and a full bottle purchase is granted.

As a fan of deep and long lasting fragrances, this perfume shook me. Love at first sniff! It’s unique and luxurious. I blind bought this perfume thinking I might hate it and regret buying it, but surprisingly, it has become my number one favorite scent in my entire perfume collection. This type of rose is opulent it’s deep, dark, and very intoxicating. It’s not a super sweet rose, it’s not juvenile. It has depth because of the tobacco and chocolate, accompanied by a subtle fruitiness from the plum. Just amazing!!! 🫶🏼

Kind of like POAL, or Loumari Saja. I don't see any similarity with Lancome oud bouquet or oud ispahan type scents for that matter. Jammy sweet rose for sure. Detect a lot of sweet tobacco-fish, late in drydown kind of smells like Sultan by crown

Although the name may be a bit misleading since the tobacco is very subtle and only really noticeable in the drydown, this is a beautiful fragrance. It opens very sweet, with a juicy, fully ripe plum, and then the rose immediately steps in as the main star, a rose that smells like rose jam. In the heart, it reveals multiple facets such as chocolate and patchouli, while the tobacco quietly appears in the background, very soft and shy. 10/10, highly recommended.

Funny story. I sprayed four solid sprays around my neck before heading to a semi casual dinner at a friend's house to meet the parents. I had a beautiful pashmima scarf on around my neck. My friend tells me her father who is this hadcore militant guy was hovering around me like a bee not sure where to land and a bit out of sorts. I make them tell this story for laughs... Ive never worn a perfume that had such intoxicating effects on a grown man who should be everythinf but destabilized. I personally would only wear this for evening occasions. Its attention grabbing.

My first impression of this fragrance is a very full, dense rose right from the opening. It’s sweet in a way that feels almost like rose jam cooked down with sugar. Within that sweetness there’s a faint hint of plum and a subtle freshness—more refreshing than cool, really. Looking at the notes later, I saw lemon listed, which makes sense, though that touch is very brief. After that, the sweet rose quickly takes over. Even though it’s sweet, it doesn’t come across as a cheap fruity sweetness. Instead, it feels like rose petals coated in cinnamon and dark chocolate, with a slight powdery texture. In the drydown, resin, leather, and a slightly sticky touch of patchouli blend in. As for tobacco, I can only detect it if I imagine it. It doesn’t necessarily have to be worn only in autumn or winter, but it really doesn’t feel suitable for daytime. More of a date-night fragrance.

I love rose in a fragrance but I find this fragrance way too sweet, too jammy too rosy for my liking. In addition, the tobacco is minimal or even non existent. It getting better when it's dry with lovely patchouli but that's about it.

They didn't choose the right name for this perfume. It should be called something like "Rose Jam". The note that is not present in this perfume is tobacco, and it smells very jammy and rosy. It is more suitable for lovers of floral perfumes who don't mind the sweetness in the perfume (although too much); but if you try or buy this perfume with the idea that it contains tobacco, you have made a big mistake! اسم این عطر رو درست انتخاب نکرده اند. اسمش رو باید چیزی مثل "مربای رز" گذاشت. نتی که در این عطر وجود نداره؛ تنباکو هست و بویی بسیار مربایی و رزی داره. بیشتر برای عاشقان عطرهای گلی که شیرینی در عطر (هر چند زیاد) اذیتشون نمیکنه مناسبه؛ ولی اینکه با دیدگاه اینکه در این عطر تنباکو موجود هست این عطر رو تست کنید و یا بخرید؛ اشتباه بزرگی کرده اید!ا

Guys, be careful buying this perfume from online sellers, since it’s one of the most popular perfumes to be replicated (you can find them on Ali for 10€ for the full bottle).

Cinnamon-spiced rose-plum jam with a warm, ambery base. Lovely but it’s giving me Christmas candle occasionally.

The reviews saying that this is a masterpiece are not just glazing; Tabac Rose is that good. It starts off a little jammy (probably due to the plum) and then the texture becomes drier. Raspberry hot cocoa into a bar of rose milk chocolate into a bar of rose dark chocolate. The opening is a bit fem, but the earthy drydown definitely leans masc. My mind is blown at how well crafted this is.

Tabac Rose is a spicy, bold rose fragrance that I actually really enjoy. The rose feels deep and slightly dark, supported by warm spices and a subtle fruity touch. I do pick up the plum note. That said, I own Radical Rose by Matière Première, and the two are very similar in overall direction. Because of that, I don’t really feel the need to have Tabac Rose as well. So if you own Radical Rose, this one may feel a bit redundant.

this smells SPICYYY. i would wear this if i was feeling brave. an interesting perfume, but not my jam.

The enchanting smokiness blends so well with sweet rose and woody scent and lasted a very long time. This smells so unique like that one of your artistic type of friend who is layback, friendly, witty and warm, but also keeps some secrets only one person can see his/her true principles and vulnerabilities.

The plum note in the top notes has a sulfuric nuance that is unexpected and off-putting. Once it dries down, the rose is gorgeous and dark, but not unique. Modest performance and projection.

Just got a travel size blindly. This smells like love by Chopard

Dayum this smells good! This is SEXY! Mouthwateringly sexy. I sprayed on and immediately knew I liked it. ALOT! but not for me 😕. I love the rose (and I love most rose fragrances). It’s the cacao & cinnamon that makes it sexy on a woman and pulls an edible quality. This would have me burying my face in her neck or where ever she sprayed it 😈. I’ve only ordered a 5mL and I’ll give it to my friend and see if she likes it.

There's definitely Oud Bouquet vibes but Tabac Rose is much more wearable in my opinion. This doesn’t get too sweet or suffocating, and I can't stop smelling myself! And since it doesn't get too sweet I'd describe it as unisex. I do agree with @komail though; there aren’t many occasions to wear Tabac Rose and it's a possibility to get tired of it pretty quickly. However....... I'm still tempted 😂💸
