Fantasy Intense

My only other Britney perfume is her midnight fantasy edp so I can’t compare this to the original but it stands alone very well. I’ve seen people draw comparisons between Fantasy Intense and La Vie Est Belle in the way the patchouli is blended and I can definitely see it. In no way is this a dupe but it makes for a very solid cheap substitute until I can afford the real deal. I’ve only been to the gas station so far and I was already complimented. It’s like if La Vie Est Belle and juicy couture perfumes had a baby. Imagine you’re baking sugar cookies and stirring sour raspberry syrup on the stove in a wooden cabin. This reminds me of Mmmm by JHAG if it were heavier and more sour. The best description of the kiwi note I’ve seen is that it can be compared to those very rich blood orange notes. It dries down to an almost powdery woody sugar cookie scent. Great value for the price! I’m in love with the bottle obviously. I’m excited to see how this will hold up in winter!

If you like patchouli, you’ll love this but I don’t particularly like patchouli so I don’t like this perfume. It’s way too masculine for my taste. I get zero cupcake, vanilla or white chocolate in this perfume Edit: my opinion has changed slightly. I get the chocolate note now but it has to be very dried down. I don’t hate it as much.

As the name implies, it is indeed fantasy intense. I don’t have the regular fantasy with me now for side by side comparison, but as someone who has smelled fantasy before, fantasy intense really smells like a stronger version of fantasy. The smell and sillage are strong so it is worth the money.

I never wanted to try this because of the patchouli note. I’m so glad I did! This is patchouli done right. Why does Britney do perfume better than expensive brands?

**UPDATE: I wore this in the middle of the summer and was complimented twice for smelling amazing! It should be noted I sprayed somewhere near 17 sprays across my body--but it was noticeable ALL DAY LONG. It makes the older gals feel younger, and the younger gals feel mature. Very sisterhood of the traveling fragrance. _____________________________________________________________________________ I like this a LOT more than Candied Fantasy that's for sure! I don't know anything about the notes or any type of inspiration, but this as a stand alone fragrance can hold up in 2026. I live in the south, and I don't see this being a problem in the summer--so long as you don't take a bath in it. It's a simple, easy grab for when you want to be a little elevated. Has a little bit of a high end soapy vibe, but I'm here for it since it doesn't take center stage. Great buy for under $20!

Finally decided to try this one and I really like it! I like it better than the original Fantasy actually. It still has the DNA of the OG, but this one has more of a fruity twist to it. It is very sweet, so I am thinking this will be a better one to rock during Fall and Winter, but I think it would be fine in Summer as well, maybe for evenings out. It is very sexy and delicious. You seriously cannot beat the price either, it was $25 for the large bottle! Britney's perfumes never disappoint!

As soon as I opened it, I knew I've smelled this before! It's VERY much like one of the Angel flankers! I have several but I'm pretty sure it smells very akin to Elixir. Almost like Angel Elixir mixed with Alien. It for sure is NOT OG Angel as it doesn't have the heavy honey & anise/licorice notes. It reminds me of something I wore back in the 90's in high school but can't remember what it was... but this one is a less synthetic version. All in all, it's actually really good and I am impressed. I've avoided ALL the Fantasy/Britney Spears perfumes because I really am not a fan of 'celebrity' scents but people go crazy over these and I found them at Ross for super cheap so I thought 'why not'... The bottles are what I think turn me off as I have a huge collection and I like to display them. These are cheap looking but it's the juice that really matters. The patchouli really helps ground this and keeps it from being overly sweet & juvenile (which it does slightly still lean) I think I'll layer with something floral or woodsy to dampen the sweetness a bit. If you're an Angel or Alien flaker fan, you'll really like this one!

I think I like this more than the og fantasy! I love both but the white chocolate and cupcake notes in the intense one seem more prominent. I don’t really get the patchouli but there is an added depth to this that makes it warm and creamy, and knocks down the tart fruitiness from the og dna. I found a made in Italy formula at ross and it’s soooo good!

It’s not groundbreaking or niche-level deep, but it’s smooth, creamy, and actually smells expensive. If you love fruity vanilla scents that feel cozy, you’ll probably love it. If you’re more into fresh/citrus or dark leathery stuff, you’ll like it.

This is an amped-up, sultry, still-recognizable Fantasy that comes to play and stay, great for date night. I don’t get spices, white chocolate, or cupcake per se, but I do get a distinct raspberry note. I especially enjoy wearing this to bed. Longevity is outstanding - easily 10 hours - but sillage can be overwhelming for others if overapplied. The drydown is really beautiful.

It doesn’t have the depth people describe it to, all I get is powdery sweetness. No cupcakes, no white chocolate, not even in the dry down. It doesn’t last nor project, at all.

wow, i bought this for my girlfriend as it was on sale for £15 not thinking anything of it. the performance of this is better than most designer and niche perfumes .. i sprayed it on my arm 8 hours ago and it’s still projecting and smelling so strong im genuinely impressed. as for the scent itself, for me it smells like a white chocolate cupcake with lychee frosting and blueberry syrup with a touch of kiwi juice. its amazing 10/10 recommend for a woman

I recently got given a Fantasy and was so dissapointed. It's smelt nothing like it did when it was released and very weak. I used to love the original. Now this. This is what the original used to smell like! It's Parfum not like the other flankers which are toilette. It's strong you get lots of the cupcake 😍 and white chocolate. I've missed the OG Fantasy. This is discontinued so I'm glad I got a bottle. £12 on tiktok! I may have to get a back up.

I adore this and I wear it year round. Smells like the original fantasy, but smoother and less of that screechy kiwi note (though I still love the OG) It’s long lasting. In fact for something so affordable, the longevity is amazing (at least on clothing) I’m hearing rumours of it being discontinued, however I have bought a new bottle recently and it has the ‘give back beauty’ engraving on the base, and the batch code checker says it’s 8 years old even though this perfume only came out 5 years ago. That tells me it’s a very recent batch. Maybe I’m wrong, hopefully I’m not 😅

A juicier, more sweetly fruity take on the original, highlighted by the signature cupcake accord. While the composition is decidedly gourmand, it remains a well-crafted, high-quality creation—far from cloying or a literal replication of dessert sweetness. Sillage is moderate, and longevity is beautiful: the creamy, sweet base lingers on fabric even into the next day. The flacon is striking, with its deep burgundy hue accented by gold details. A beautiful flanker that enriches the Fantasy collection.

This one is very very good. It’s quite strong, sweet, fruity, earthy it’s everything I love. I’m a huge fan of angel mugler and I find the two similar but not in a bad way. The patchouli in this one doesn’t feel overwhelming to the point that I can’t smell anything else in it. The first spray is fruit and it dries down to a stronger sweet cupcake and white chocolate. I do smell patchouli throughout and I start to smell it on me almost immediately. I find the cupcake and white chocolate stronger in intense than of fantasy which I really enjoy. I have both fantasy and intense but If I had to choose between the two I’d choose intense! It’s so delicious

One odd thing I did notice about this perfume is that it acts like a body mist. The oil concentration in the perfume for me is extremely low. It smells great for what it is, but does not last as long as I wish it would. It smells like a clean musk perfume, the litchi is prominent. An easy way to explain this perfume is a clean cupcake with some fruit notes.

I hate to say... I like it for a celebrity perfume. It's great value, performance is on point, the scent is very dynamic. I really like how the dry-down smells on my skin. It kind of smells like a fresh sweet floral musk that smells super clean. You'd think from the notes it would be more gourmand, but it's not. It's very pleasent, though!

It's like a warm hug. From start to finish, the patchouli runs the show. It begins to turn sweet and creamy within the first hour. I can pick up the litchi but its very subtle and blends nicely with the patchouli. Lasts several hours on me.

I heard this was getting discontinued and while all of this brand lasts maybe an hour, this one actually has staying power, so I thought, "Why not?" and got it. It has no white chocolate or cupcake/sweet/vanilla to it. What I get is patchouli and fruit. I might be the only person smelling the top notes but I'm fine with that. It's what intrigued me about this scent to begin with. Hours later, it has a vague soapy quality to it. (The orris/musk/orchid/jasmine I'm assuming.) Still happy with it.

Wow! first spray very very noticable patchouli and woodsy notes, expected it to be in the more sweet side but I think as it blends onto the skin it becomes more sweet. Kinda reminds me of some men perfumes in the initial spray but overall it is definitely in the feminine side, I liked it very much.

Its really similar to believe. Britney and a bit of patchouli works. I’m surprised how much I like it cause I’m not a big fan of fantasy.

Britney is one very few celebrity fragrances I'll ever buy. I don't love this one, I don't think I even like it. It's more ok than anything else. However, I don't regret buying it. Because it's Britney b****

I'm working through something here.... I'm not above wearing celebrity fragrances. I have a handful that I love. That being said I will never buy a Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, or Ariana Grande frag (all for different reasons). I try not to be judgy, but I just can't with these ladies.... I felt the same way about Britney's fragrances but damned if I don't see them splashed ALL OVER message boards here and in other places for beast-mode, banger, cheapies. People have been raving about her scents forever. So when I spied a big ol' bottle of Fantasy Intense for pennies at Ross, I checked the Fragrantica page, including the reviews. I'm not typically a fan of fruitchoulis (I've sampled and passed on so many at this point) but I LOVE litchi fragrances and jasmine, so that looked promising. Reviewers said FI was their "forever favorite", "so f***ing good", and managed to be "old-school gourmand", resisting the recent rot-your-teeth-out trend...all good things. Then ONE reviewer said it had "Mugler Angel vibes"....and that's when I bit. Angel has been my signature for almost 3 decades. I love the combo of sweet and stank, the push and pull of the earthy and gourmand notes. So I took a gamble, figuring my chances were about 50/50 of liking it and that if I didn't prefer it maybe my daughter would. Let me just say....DAAAAYUM! Fantasy Intense really is SO good! It's fruity, it's earthy, it's sweet...it's so many things that I adore. The litchi is poised on top of the opening, deepened by the pear, but still sparkling. I don't get 'kiwi' at all. I get homemade vanilla bean ice cream, rather than vanilla cupcake but tomay-to/tomah-to. The jasmine (another favorite of mine) is crushed beneath the fruit, smothered in the gourmand notes...only a death-rasp of indole exists here, just enough to add a bit of interest and tension, even sophistication. The orchid does what? Adds spice? I never know. The patch here is tamed and toothless...made creamy and soft by the wood and orris. In the drydown I smell a hint of hot skin and the ghost of a whisper of...cigarette smoke? Incense? Pencil shavings? I don't even know...but it's AMAZING. I'm nearing 250 fragrances in my collection and Fantasy Intense is easily in my top ten now. I think I can wear this anytime, anywhere, except maybe in the hottest and most humid of conditions. BIG LOVE. I'll be snatching up every bottle I can find. So yeah, I guess I'm on the Britney bandwagon now. After experiencing Fantasy Intense, I'm jumping right on that sucker and we will all be singing at the top of our lungs, dancing our little hearts out, wearing clothes way too young for us, and smelling amazing. I'm totally here for it.

You ladies better stock up before the prices go 100+, because they officially discontinued this fragrance..... like I knew they would!!.....this is her best one imo, besides Believe.

I literally just re purchased this after smelling it on my co worker ! I gave her my bottle about a year ago and man has it macerated. Everytime she walks into work it fills the place. I work in a huge building and I can't believe how strong it has gotten ! I'll just have to give my new bottle some time to mature . Sooo good 💗🧁🍒

Ok, this is my second from the fantasy line, my first being midnight fantasy. This is sooo much better, way more my style and so much prettier! I understand that I’m not the demographic intended for this line but this is one I can wear! I always look for affordable fragrances that don’t break the bank and this is a great one! It’s beautiful for fall and winter daytime! I really enjoy this!

I feel actually insane for writing a review for this, but im genuinely so gobsmacked I HAD to. Just purchased this for the nostalgia as a little jokey joke. I never actually had this version, but it was inexpensive and the bottle is cute. I put 2 singular sprays(1 on neck, 1 on chest) at 6:30 AM. WHY AM I SMELLING IT JUST AS STRONG 12+ HOURS LATER?! WHAT?? Not only is the performance amazing, but it's delicious?! This is insanely good and will now be on my regular rotation. BRB gonna scoure for some more flankers of these babies!
