My Burberry Black

beautiful peach, jasmine, patchouli but quite weak. Perfect smell

Not sure it my bottle is off, but I get nothing resembling perfume, It smells like aqua net.

I wish I can love this with all my heart but it's too soapy on me. Like yes, it'd be a really gorgeous, good smelling jasmine nectarine soap, but it's still soap nonetheless. It's as if when I'm wearing this, if my husband wants a kiss or a bite he would be met with an silicone humandroid stored in the bathroom instead of the actual me. It smells confused; does it want to be jasmine forward with a beautiful, sparkling indolic depth or does it want to be a juicy black tea steeped in stonefruit? I can barely find the amber anywhere with how strong the two previous qualities are. Perhaps maceration is needed for the cloying soapiness to disappear, and for me to fully appreciate the blend. It is at least a beast in all aspects, though.

It's unique. Powdery peach amber is what I get. One spray is a lot - this is beast mode. The scent profile reminds me of Chanel allure edp and edt.

I was blessed enough to find this at a local free store. Smells heavenly, like syrup and spice. Not too overwhelming, feminine and sensual.

Eyes really almost roll back. It's very MFK in feel. Super smooth and clean, but also syrupy and rich. It's a similar rose that you find in Oud Satin Mood, but with a bright very juicy peach and jasmine and on a very gooey amber base. I know it has patchouli but it really is hard to smell. I love that scratchy sparkly quality patchouli has in Angel and CoCo Mademoiselle, but this is nothing like that. This immediately became a favorite in my collection.

Strong, rose flowery, drying to amber and patchuli, intoxicating , if you want to make a statement go ahead .

I do like this one a lot, but i've noticed when I spray it on certain fabrics it has a "burnt toast" smell, so i'm not sure what that's about lol

I decided to test My Burberry Black Eau de Parfum on my skin for a full afternoon and evening to see how it develops. Opening (first 20–30 minutes): Right after spraying, I got a spicy floral scent. The florals felt strong and a little sharp at first. It wasn’t very fruity to my nose — I personally didn’t detect the peach note that is often listed. Mid stage (~45 minutes): The scent began to remind me of talcum powders I remember from childhood, like the powders people used in India in the 90s. It’s not literally powdery in the formula, but something about the combination of notes triggered that nostalgic association for me. Drydown (~2 hours onward): The florals faded quite a bit and the fragrance became more herbal and slightly spicy, which I believe is the patchouli base coming forward. Longevity: After about 5 hours, it was very faint on my skin and mostly smelled like patchouli. Interestingly, on my clothes it stayed much nicer — softer, with a touch of floral warmth and a smoother patchouli. Overall: This is a warm floral fragrance that gradually turns into a patchouli-driven drydown. If you enjoy patchouli you might really like it. My personal nose is a bit sensitive to patchouli, so that part wasn’t my favorite, but the scent on clothing was quite pleasant.

I enjoy this perfume. To me it has such lovely deep rose/peach notes but somehow is almost fresh. I agree that it has an airy quality so maybe that’s why I feel like it’s fresh because I wouldn’t consider it a clean, fresh scent at all. I do think this is a night out scent for sure. It is sexy and mature/sophisticated.

I got into the fragrance universe mesmerized by how differently we perceive the same perfume. I can't hate on this one, it's not a bad perfume, but it doesn't say anything to me, it's just a fragrance I wear around the house in hopes I finish it, haha. However, I love to see other people enjoying this. Sometimes I'd like to borrow others' noses so I can see for myself what they experience.

The mini lotion that used to come with some of the boxes of this perfume is even better than the perfume. I bought many back ups of this perfume several years ago and now have a lifetime supply. But i only got two tiny bottles of the lotion (about 1 ounce each) and i am almost out of it. Which is breaking my heart! Still, the perfume itself is pretty much my top fav of all time, and the bottles i have are all incredibly strong and long lasting. If i spray heavily, it fills a room for 24 hours. I had this very experience, and even my boyfriend commented “WOW! this whole place still smells like your perfume last night! Its delicious! This is the best perfume you own!” We then went to breakfast and i was getting compliments the next day from fellow patrons it lingered around me from the night before. Ill admit that you do need to spray heavily for this experience, but for me, this perfume, while powerful, is never “too much” because it has an airy quality to it that constantly keeps it in check.

Ok! A mad review ahead! I had a long time ago to write a review but now I' m mad enough to do so.Years back in 2017,I used to wear this every day.I felt in love with it immediately and associated it with significant moments of my life-maybe nobody cares about, but you know how perfumes work. I was in love with it.It was a beast! A serious one.A 10 hours on skin and 2 days on clothes.Pricey.A very refined,high class,extra quality creation.A great perfumer responsible.Every one asked me.I sniffed it in my hair,my clothes,my air around me,rich,beautiful,amber-ish and candied peach all over.A perfume as a signature,a really strong and powerful one. I finished a bottle,too expensive,too many perfumes I own,never had it again. After an almost a decade,I thought it was discontinued and suddenly,in my sight again.Ordered it,owned it.And....where is it?A faint,a phantom,just a breeze...who?this perfume?no!NO! Where is THAT dry down? The things I used to love in this?I mean,I used to wear it every single day,I know how it developed .....I don't know what happened here.I pay a serious price just for the love and the memory and the quality and the fit, but this IS NOT My Burberry Black as I remember it,and please,please,please,just respect us,our hard earned money,our memories and our aesthetic, is not for sale.Please notice that,people in perfume industries! It just arrived, what is this? There are a lot of weak perfumes out there these days, so I trusted the reviews here and waited two weeks to order it from overseas, but what is this? What's beast mode about it? What's gorgeous about it? What's special about it? It's just a completely "normal" perfume. I'm sorry I was fooled by the reviews, but I ended up buying a big bottle. I'll just use it as a bathroom air freshener. I should have bought Narciso Intense instead. Peaches are in the rose family, so it's only natural that they go well with rose, but I don't think they go well with jasmine. And my nose doesn't get along with the perfumes Kurkdjian makes even more. I just don't like them.

I don't know if I'm just hopelessly jaded, or simply disappointed in the general wateriness of designer scents nowadays, but I don't find this perfume "dark" or "deeply resinous" in any way. It's nice; it's pretty; it smells good, but it's hardly dark or resinous or "too" anything. If this were someone's idea of too intense, I would wonder what their idea of a polite scent would be. To me, this perfume is "black" in the politest of ways.

Please anyone could tell me another perfume that has more sillage and longevity than this I mean any perfume that can beat this one in a room? Thank you.

Some may call it a nighttime, vampy or sexy fragrance, I just want to call this perfume my signature....I am in LOVE ❤️ My Burberry black made me think that perhaps I like roses in a perfume, this has such a feminine, womanly, delicious, long lasting smell. The peachy jammy rose is intertwined with amber and patchouli in a way that is sweet, dark but not overly sweet, my ultimate favorite. The weather has been cold and perfect for MBB, I am enjoying it all day long.

A very warm scent. Amber foward with a hint of peach. I wasn't sure I liked it at first. The first spray was almost animalic and reminded me of bathroom air freshener. But as the scent sank into my skin it became warm, peachy, and on my skin the rose is there. My skin drinks rose... if its in anything I wear its the most predominant note no matter how little is actually in it. The warm amber scent of My Burberry Black however doesn't get lost. I really like this perfume! Definitely a keeper, but I do think it's a going out with the girls or dinner with husband or fancy evening out perfume. Its a very sophisticated and even sexy scent. Not one I'd wear to work or just casually around the house.

my burberry black is a gem. mature, elegant and sexy, she makes the wearer feel confident and rightfully so. i blind bought this fragrance after seeing a tiktok video greatly praising it, its scent profile, longevity and sillage. i can say i am not disappointed. at first spray my burberry black really surprised me. in defiance to many reviewers, my initial reaction was "this is not a warm fragrance at all." honestly, to my nose it smells almost cold. clean and fresh with a fairly strong presence of patchouli. the patchouli is most present during the top and middle notes, and frankly, as the fragrance dries down it's not really noticeable. however, you don't have to be put off by the strong presence of patchouli, in here it is really inoffensive and clean. frankly, i cannot put my finger on the amber note, i do not detect its warmth or resin-like sensation, that's why the fragrance feels nearly cold to me. the clean vibe is just supported by the beautiful jasmine note. probably after one hour of spraying, i started to notice a delicious fruitiness and a beautiful powdery sensation because of the rose, it is so subtle and delicate, almost not even noticeable. it makes the fragrance so sophisticated. usually i am not a fan of rose scents, because let's be real, most of the times they aren't utilised correctly. here it's just pure perfection. with the dry down the patchouli vanishes and leaves just a soft earthy trail and makes the amber shine at its last act, but it still has a fruity dna. honestly, i was quite surprised at its longevity which was shorter than reviews say. maybe it was just because i sprayed it once on my wrist and it possible quickly rubbed off into my hoodie. anyway, i am looking forward to wearing this for a suitable occasion and unleashing its full potential with more sprays.

Beast mode! Heavily reminds me of "The One" by Dolce & Gabanna. Think of this as an intense version of that scent. While that is a fresh, uplifting day time scent, this is the dark, mysterious night time sister. Heavier peach and amber in this one with crazzzy lasting power. They could very well be flankers!

I also am not a lover of patchouli but this one is ok. I can barely tell there is patchouli there, it isn’t overpowering everything else like it normally does on me. I’d describe it as a: fruity peachy woody powdery rosy slightly spicy floral. If you are also not a big patchouli fan & that note is scaring you here don’t write it one off just yet, try it first.

Oh how I lurvvvvvvvvvv.....

I'm a certified patchouli hater, especially when a brand adds it to an existing fragrance as a flanker and calls it 'intense', 'black', or similar 'this fragrance but sexier' branding. Patchouli always smells a little masculine and dirty on my skin and tends to overtake all other notes. That being said, I'm really impressed by this. It's definitely still a sort of 'department store, mass appealing, would gift to a daughter or a mother' type scent, but it's nice. On my skin the patchouli still comes out a lot, but in the air around me and on my clothing I really get that peach/jasmine smell. I don't think would buy this full price, but I wouldn't turn down a good deal on it or maybe a travel size. I'm gonna call this a safe, evening time first date type scent.

Just received this and WOW it is in your face but in a good, unapologetic way. Roses covered in peach and patchouli. Sexy, sophisticated and smells fantastic. I am so glad to have this in my collection especially for the fall and winter months.
