Bvlgari Man Extreme

It's a fresh masculine fragrance, probably what you'd expect a middle age gentleman to wear in an office. It starts with a soapy fresh citrus opening, and dries into a woody oriental fragrance. There is a tiny bit of a musty floral vibe that I'm not really into. I'm not saying this fragrance is similar to Aventus, but it's going for a similar genre as Aventus and its compadres, and its similar to a lot of mens colognes that are going for that citrus woody vibe. This fragrance was unique for it's time, but now there are many fragrances like this and it's played out. I get different notes from it each time I apply it; it feels multifaceted. It's okay, but I don't see myself wearing this again.

I think the main scents in this perfume are made up of cactus , bamboo , citrus , aromatic plants and a little wood and resin . Despite the cool and sharp smell , it is somewhat relaxing and has a special sense of fresh and freshness . The sillage of the perfume is average , up to 1 hour , and lasts about 4 to 5 hours with 8 to 10 puffs , which in my opinion is generally average , but the unique and spicy scent for summer and spring is generally warm to moderate weather . I bought 2 similar models , one from the Emirates FW Co , a 100 ml EDP type , priced at about 11 US dollars , and the other from the Iranian Brandini company , 33 ml EDP , priced at about 4 US dollars . The Emirates type is slightly lower in quality than the original , with a sillage and lasting about a third of the original , and the Iranian type is at the original level in quality , with a sillage and lasting close to the original Italian perfume . In terms of the scent , both clone copies are very similar to the original , and Iranian Brandini is more similar . Bvlgari Man Extreme smells absolutely amazing — a true compliment-getter with a classy, masculine vibe. The standout note for me is the cactus juice, which is beautifully blended with warm amber, giving the fragrance a fresh yet smooth character. Cons: The performance could be better. After around 1 hour, it settles very close to the skin and loses its projection. This is beautiful smell like fresh linen in good way .you need to over spray to smell it as it very soft but will last.

This may be one of Alberto's best creations when it comes to fresh men's fragrances that do not contain salty and aquatic accords such as ADG. Both Man and Man Extreme creations are unique, but so completely different from each other that they should not be in the same line, because someone who doesn't know them might think that this one is a better version of the original. Extreme if you want to smell fresh, and Man if you want to smell comfortable.

I used to wear it when I was 16-22 years old and I still remember the perfect scent with so unique cactus note and overall pleasing scent. It's a shame that it was discontinued! Please bring it back!!! I will definitely buy 5 bottles :)

Glad to have picked up bottle of this one. People with 25 bottles of fragrances or less think this an NPC generic fragrance is wild. Myself having more than 25 fragrances (some of those being designer inexpensive fragrances), I don't have anything that smells even close to this one.

Absolute crime that this was discontinued. One of the best dumb reach office scents ever. So fresh, so creamy, so high class, so good. Please bring it back

Pleasant gentleman smell. Has a certain uniqueness, which you need to like with the cactus essence. Could be pleasing to some, for me it was an ok with an average performance. I would not buy it again Performance: 3-6 hours Sillage: Arms length For whom: Gentlemen >30 My background: I only write reviews about scents I have worn already (until the bottle is finished or given away) or are in current use. I'm a Gentlemen - middle aged - predominantly in an executive office environment wearing suits and representing with many official gatherings.

It's a shame this was discontinued. The cactus note made this fragrance very special, I have not smelled a fragrance that have done this note as well since. It was one of the best summer scents, ever.

This fragrance is a beast! The citrus opening is super refreshing and then it settles into this warm, spicy, woody scent that lasts all day. I get compliments every time I wear it.

This is a super star scent, through and through. I've got an older bottle and the projection is insane as well as the longevity--that sour topnote lingers around quite a while (it's sourness reminds me faintly of Toy Boy's; not saying they smell similar, just saying this particular kind of faint dill note is in both, probably cashmeran mixed with something else). As experiencing others scents thru my fragrance journey, I came across Mont Blanc Legend Red, which to me kind of ressembles this scent, being discontinued, I though wouldnt be able to find this scent profile in the market anymore, but maybe, just maybe MBL Red has some of it. Talking about BMExtreme, man, is so fresh, alive, well done, you cant go wrong wearing it in your daily activities, perfect for the hot weather.

This is a revisit since I've reviewed this before. As of late, I've stopped using this after learning of its discontinuation. I've used up almost half of a 100ml bottle. Seeing the prices of this online is just very sad. People really are capitalizing on the discontinuation. Middle eastern clone houses should definitely clone this and other discontinued fragrances.

Smells a lot like Explorer

For me this smells like a typical but milder kind of "pour homme" but what makes them a bit different from each other (if there is any difference!) is the sweet part. Here it is something new to me and therefore it is interesting.

Batch is 11D00M1. Had it when it was initially released and now I’ve only got a vial to remember it by. It’s a very interesting scent for sure. It’s light and airy with the citruses and freesia but it got some roughness with the woods and cactus. You would think that a note like cactus isn’t something you’d pick up straight away but it’s there upfront. It gives the perfume a dry roughness. It’s not beast mode and it’s safe so it would be a prefect office scent.

Very modern with that citrus sharp anbroxan and suitable for mid Spring to early summer. But if you over spray or reapply instant nose fatigue. This is a scent you apply once and enjoy the random but infrequent whiffs. Preferably on shirt for both longevity. However I would not buy at the current prices due to being discontinued. Unless I had a sentimental value to me like some other scents. Otherwise much better options at much lower price.

Applies fresh but instead of blue, green citrus. Mostly grapefruit with musty dry streak. Musk becomes dominant and pushes more appealing notes to the background. Spraying on fabric keeps citrus going and has less musk, but there’s still a stale must that’s kind of off-putting. Overall, fresh grapefruit is nice but other notes don’t come together. It’s popular enough, will keep trying.

This was one of the first fragnances i had. Now i have 40+ bottles in my collection and i have to admit, that the smell of this one is in my top5 scents for sure. Sadly the sillage and projection is not very good, or actually we can say its very weak, but the smell of it is just amazing. Very unique cactus note in it. Shame that its discontinued.

I like it! Stands out a bit from the other citrus fragrances with that cactus note. It’s a shame many people find the performance lackluster.

This reminds me in some way to tygar from the same brand. It has that Italian perfume smell to it. I own this one and really don't need tygar in my collection.

I don't know what cactus "smells" like, but this makes me think of wet leaves, or greenery in the rain. Its actually perfect for the coming fall days. Yes, in comparison to today's bubblegum/ambroxan bombs, this is considerably lighter wearing, but the natural smell I get from it means I'd still much rather reach for this for this coming season. I wasn't aware it was discontinued. Guess I'll have to use it sparingly :(
