After liking Man in Black so much, I went on a Bvlgari buying jag. I purchased one of those vintage 10 ml refillable sprayers that comes with a silver funnel. The scent is bright, fresh, herbal, and leans masculine. It's good, but not enough for me to go full-sized bottle. Recommend trying before buying.

To NKBN below...."dirty"???????? Anything but. It's shower-fresh clean. I mentioned this in a previous post but I'll say it again. The older formulation (2013 - 2018) are much stronger than the current formulation. I've bought several bottles from these dates and the strength is noticeable. You can still find the older bottles on eBay.

very dirty and earthy but clean at the same time. anyways not my cup of tea at all. also you have to really inhale it up close in order to smell it. dissapointment

This is the perfect cologne for a professional meeting or work project, where you want to be polite, and pleasant. It's soapy, with crisp citrusy tea accords off the top, a smell that is both inviting and inoffensive. Nothing wrong with this at all, and I think it's ok that it doesn't have a lot of character, because what it has is perfect for me. I'll be looking to upgrade to a full size in the future. Well done! 8.5/10

First impression after spraying a tester on my hand: Sweet and herby vetiver, reminds me of Encre Noir Sport and Terre d' Hermes (be gentle, these are the only vetiver-fragrances I know). Terre is much more "orangy" though.

Love this one. My grandma always wears omnia crystalline and this just reminds me of her a lot. kind of like they are the same fragrance just masculine and feminine versions. Forever on my shelf

Incredible smelling fragrance, but poor performance on my skin. Even then, considering how much I loved the smell, the only reason I won’t buy this is because I already own Bvlgari Man Rain Essence, which to me smells quite similar but even better and has better performance. I do, however, understand this working better as a signature scent, but still I’d much rather have Rain Essence.

BVLGARI POUR HOMME: THE EXPENSIVE VOID THE PROMISE The industry celebrates it as "silent elegance" and the absolute pinnacle of understatement. The expectation: a meditative Darjeeling tea fragrance for the perfect white shirt - noble, subtle, and sovereign. A scent for those who appreciate the quiet power of a fragrance that doesn't need to shout. THE REALITY In practice, this fragrance is an olfactory phantom. It offers no substance, no development, and - most importantly - zero emotion. There is no journey to be found, no story being told, and absolutely nothing to grasp onto. CONCLUSION: A SOULLESS ZERO If you want to spend 80 Euros or more just to smell absolutely nothing: be my guest. For me, Bvlgari Pour Homme is a soulless zero. Where no story is told and no note is tangible, there is only one verdict: A waste of money. If a scent evokes no feeling, it has no place in my collection - or the collection of anybody who seeks character in their scents.

This is honestly one of the best tea fragrances I've tried, and overall one of the best fresh profiles that works on my skin. I don't get the performance issues others speak about, with a solid 6 hours with ok projection. I can see where imagination got it's inspiration from but I think I like this more. Wow, instant order after sampling it on my skin. High quality citrus and tea with a gentleman airiness and nice scent bubble.

Very similar to johnson and johnson baby shampoo.

i've had a tester of this for a few years now, and only recently did i decide to buy it. doesn't have the greatest projection or performance, but this fragrance was never supposed to be loud and boastful, it's just not in its chraracter. it's very calm and pleasant, you can easily dress it down or wear it to a formal occasion – basically an easy blind reach. you can also layer it with other fragrances, works wonderful. this fragrance is very polite and elegant, not polarizing at all – there's really nothing about it that people could hate, but at the same time it's not something that would get you a million compliments, either. it's a very easy, harmless, gentle and polite scent. i wouldn't recommend it for a blind buy, though, because the opening smells a bit like rubbing alcohol, but it quickly subsides to become a calm darjeeling p.s. the reviewer below said that this is a "weak version" of versace eau fraiche or blue seduction – that is just incorrect, lol

For sure a weak version of blue seduction or versace eau fraiche. The original dna but the newer versions outperform it. Its a lovely woody and herby blend…almost zero sillage or performance 4/10

This used to be one of my all-time faves. Very fresh, soapy/laundry, green, woody vibe. It reminds me a lot of the forest near my old college—it really smells like trees to me. Really brings me back. Distinct and unique enough that I can immediately tell it apart from others. Nowadays however, I unfortunately find it to be too bitter and nutty for my current tastes. I still like it for nostalgias sake. The performance isn't very nostalgic though. ✅Good

to my nose it smells quite punchy and not at all calming. the cardamom is prominent. I also smell juniper. I found the punchyness can be compensated with some other frag like Armaf Odyssey Aqua (which is a bit sweet and airy). Still for me it is a no-go as it irritates my nosdrils . Bvlgari AQVA is nice frag i like quite a lot.

I don't understand that the majority of people rate the longevity and the sillage as moderate. It's clearly extremely weak. This is not even the strength of a cologne. Spill tea on you, it will probably make you smell stronger. So overpriced. Even if you spray 20 puffs on you, nobody around will notice any scent after 30 minutes. I know, I did it.

Received as a gift from a friend. Smells very clean and fresh; safe crowd pleaser office scent. It smells to me personally of a cigarette after a hotel shower. I catch the tea flowers and oakmoss notes the most, I’m guessing the vetiver and oakmoss is what’s giving me that smoky vibe—almost a bit bitter like some other reviews are saying. Super safe may be a bit boring to some, I’d say very worth freshie if found discounted. 8.2/10

To me it's like l'Eau d'Issey pour femme but pour homme, we can recognize the same perfumers touch. If it could project a little bit more it would be the perfect sent for me. Very 90's, soft and extremely well blended which leads to a subtle quite linear beauty.

It's just a subtle, but extremely elegant and clean tea fragrance. Wearing this might not receive the most attention, but I've never had anyone say they didn't like it once they came close. If you're looking for something that projects, however, this isn't it. Still love it.

Classic soft, musky scent with a mild tea/citrusy opening. It's not a "fresh airy" scent, but rather feels more refined and elegant. More suitable for adults, offices, and generally stylish - not trendy people. Longevity and sillage are poor, but these are generally intimate skin-type scents. They're not meant to be loud and cloying. I give it a 7.5/10

I really liked the new EDP and revisited this one. When I first tried it I didn't like it much, but on a second try it's really nice. The scent is 90% the same as the EDP but less green and more subtle. However, the drydown gives me a horrible and harsh ammonia profile and when the perfume is gone it's just the ammonia left. Maybe it's my skin, but this just doesn't work for me at all. I'll stick to the EDP.

Kinda like a masculine bal d'afrique in my opinion. Less intoxicating lemon though, much lighter. 7.5/10

I just received this in a three bottle gift set (along with Pour Homme Extreme and Pour Homme Soir). Really nice fragrance. It opens very light, mildly soapy, with a hint of citrus. Settles with a hint of sweetness. The definition of clean and fresh. Delicate, gentle and mature. Instant love. This one sits very close to the skin so most people will not smell it on you unless they lean in very close. It speaks of "quiet confidence". Update: I bought a couple of older formulation bottles (around 2014) and the projection and longevity are stronger. Beautiful fragrance!

I know that it´s for men but the scent is unisex - it is so soft, classic, timeless and elegant that I kept buying for 20 years now and will never stop in my collection. This smell reminds me when I was in Japan and every places were full of snow and cherry blossoms. That feeling of comfort when somebody gives you a hug and whispers "you´re safe now". It´s kinda hard to find this one so whenever I travel, I buy 2-3 bottles in Duty Free. I have bought the extreme but it´s too woody for me after 2 hours and I think it´s only best for men.

The most elegance scent in the world. It has to back.

Citrus / spices / smoky clean laundry. For summertime freshness, I prefer Malizia uomo vetyver. It's cheaper and the citrus has some staying power. The base in bulgari is longer lived. Not my favourite smell though. Bulgari is heavy-handed on florals and cardamom. But without the vetiver and smoke, this is a woman's scent, after she ate some curry. The cardamom is really overpowered for my nose. There are a lot of semi-transparent "amber" and musks going on. The atomiser leaves much to be desired as well.
