Not bad but very plain and simple, very chocolaty smell

This smells like a cold, woody vanilla with a chocolate accord that is incredibly noticeable on my skin. Delicious, but not as long lasting as I expect from a vanilla fragrance.

Not a fan of the opening on skin (reminds me of Summer Fridays Sunlit Vanilla, which I didn’t like), but love the dry down! About 2.5-3 hrs later, the dry down becomes an airy, comforting, moderately sweet, soft, powdery vanilla. The powder has the slightest touch of almond if you really look for it, and not vintage. I’ve heard someone say it smells like vanilla dryer sheets, and I really do get that. More specifically, after your clothes have cooled after using the dryer with a dryer sheet, since it’s not sharp or aldehydic. I especially enjoy wearing at home and before bed. If I spray it on my clothes before bed, I can still smell it in the morning. I tried wearing it on my shirt outside in the summer heat, and I think the heat warped it into a smell that reminds me of a freshly shampooed and groomed dog, so for me, I will avoid wearing it outside in the heat. Adding this one to my wish list!

The scent is wonderful, but the longevity is subpar. After about two hours it’s barely detectable. I understand that it’s a natural fragrance, but I really wish someone would make a dupe with better performance. I honestly don’t care if it’s not “natural” I just want it to last!

the initial hour of this perfume i absolutely detest - it's straight up vanilla bean extract but alcoholic and smells identical to a £5 vanilla oil i once owned that i also hated. so i suppose if you're attracted to that kind of scent than this would be for you (it also is has some of the same dna as bianco latte, and i am definitely reminded of it when i spray it, but i am also not a huge fan of that perfume neither). i'm not sure if it mellows out after an hour, or i have just singed enough of my nose off from its overpowering stench that it becomes likeable - a softer, warmer vanilla which i wish was the initial vibe. however the headache i get from its initial scent overpowers any desire to wear it through. either way, i am so thankful i only bought the travel spray rather than a full bottle because i would have cried. i am a huge sweet, vanillaery perfume fan but i am not a fan of one-dimensional, overpowering vanilla scents such as this one - i adore scents like kayali 28, love don't be shy and saltair's saltwater vanilla for reference.

For those looking for a cheaper price point, innocence by sand & fog is the exact same scent to my nose and last the same amount of time for a fraction of the cost! The scent of this perfume is amazing but I got the travel size and honestly cant commit to paying something that I'll need to spray every 3 hours to get the desired longevity.

This doesn’t smell like vanilla ice cream all i smell is the wood if you want a true ice cream scent Lick Me is way better

Sweet, vanilla, powdery, musky, chocolate, woody, warm spicy, aromatic, luminous, feminine, sensual, seductive, flirty, charming, whimsical, dreamy, divine, delightful, delicious, alluring, tempting, intoxicating, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting Oh my goodness this is just sooo good! I get the sensual and powdery vanilla, sweet chocolate, powdery musk, and aromatic hinoki wood, but I swear that I also get a decadent honey-like scent too! It’s super delightful and yummy! It does make me think of rich, creamy vanilla ice cream, with chunks of chocolate, and drizzled with honey! This definitely feels very reminiscent of Bianco Latte, except without the caramel. I also think it’s quite similar to LSF Vanilla Twirl, Summer Fridays Sunlit Vanilla, Ellis Brooklyn Queen’s Caramel, and B&BW Whipped Honey & Vanilla, all of which also remind me of Bianco Latte. It’s definitely a scent profile that I really enjoy! To me this feels very feminine, and like it’s suitable for women of any age. I think this works best during the colder weather of fall, winter, and early spring. This feels suitable for any occasion from casual to fancy, and including work/school. I was fully expecting this to smell edible and gourmand, but the moment this touched my skin, i get this fresh linnen, vanilla coziness. It’s warm, it’s soft and perfect for every day. If a warm hug from the person you loved most would have a smell, it would be this🤍

dulce, my love. sweet and soft and perfection. vanilla ice cream and a hint of powdery chocolate. subtle and non-offensive, it creates a delicious little scent bubble for me. ingredient transparency also makes this a huge win in my book <3 now i need mixtape!!!

If you're a vanilla fan, you'll love it. It gives a vanilla ice cream with a chocolate swirl running through it. You've definitely smelled 100 fragrances just like it. I only have a decant and I'll reserve it for bedtime when I have used a vanilla body lotion and an oil after a shower in the colder months but the performance is not very good and I wouldn't buy a full bottle.

I’m sure this is lovely but I can barely smell it. Save yourself money and get a vanilla from Andromeda’s Moon, Outremer, etc. instead.

good god i LOVED this perfume. i honestly think it's great for all seasons. just a lovely vanilla bean scent with a light woody/musky base that really agreed with my skin. unfortunately i wore it during a time in my life i didnt realize had traumatized me until recently, when i spritzed it after not wearing it for a while. made my stomach drop along with my smile. she's just that powerful! someday soon i'll return to you, my dulce...

idk how this is so popular. Just generic sweet, like this is the most neutral reaction I’ve ever had to a scent. Simple ,flat ,boring, not even in a ‘everyday wear’ way.

Imagine going on a cute little date to an antique, wooden-floored, old-fashioned ice cream parlor that makes its own waffle cones. You're slurping up delicious artisan vanilla, and your partner is enjoying a little chocolate. Freeze frame: that's the scent. I didn't like it at first because I thought it was too simple, but it definitely warms up on the skin nicely. It stays a skin scent for a while, so it's more of a "for me" scent, cozy at home.

The diet version of Bianco Latte. I don’t like the Bianco Latte DNA but I somehow tolerate this. It may be that it’s got something in the background that smells ‘clean like’ almost. Wearing it today with Commodity Milk and I’m enjoying it. Might use it to layer instead of wearing it on its own

I had high hopes for Dulce, but unfortunately it fell a bit flat for me. "Flat" is probably the best word to describe my experience with it overall. I have read several reviews that describe Dulce as a photorealistic melted vanilla ice cream scent, but that wasn't what I got from it. On my skin, it came across much more as a realistic shea butter scent with a soft, mildly sweet vanilla in the background. To be clear, I don't think this is a bad fragrance. I personally think it fits in the "ok" category, hence my rating. The scent is pleasant, light and minimalist. I think it may be a good option for those who prefer a more subtle gourmand fragrance. However, if you're expecting a rich and creamy ice cream fragrance, you may be disappointed. For me, Dulce was more of a shea butter skin scent with a touch of vanilla. Nice enough, but not a standout.

I really appreciate that By Rosie Jane fully discloses their fragrance ingredients. It makes a difference, especially since a lot of perfumes have been giving me headaches lately, and this one doesn’t at all. Dulce is a sweet vanilla musk that feels soft, creamy, and comforting. I don’t get any woodiness, and while there might be a chocolate note, it’s not literal. It's more like a subtle extra sweetness that adds depth rather than smelling like a chocolate bar. I’ve had my bottle for almost a year, and now that it’s started to turn slightly yellow, the scent has deepened beautifully and lasts much longer. I’d honestly recommend letting it age, because at this stage it smells divine. I dislike overly juvenile, sugary vanillas, but this isn’t like that at all. It’s simple but still has dimension; a light, clean, airy vanilla that works for any season, occasion, or age. It layers perfectly with everything, adding just the right touch of sweetness without becoming overpowering. It reminds me of an angel sitting in fluffy clouds made of vanilla ice cream - soft, dreamy, and effortlessly beautiful.

This fragrance is something... I honesty neither like or dislike 'Dulce'. On me it smells like an off brand vanilla Yankee candle, it's kind of waxy, dense, and partially plasticy. But I also don't mind it? When it dries down, and I get whiffs of it I can see the ice cream cone, clean sheets with vanilla dropped on aspect, but it's meh for me. It does have decent performance for a vegan perfume I would say (4-5hrs) until it becomes a skin scent. I feel like if you're looking for a clean vanilla fragrance for those hotter days this MAY be it. But in my opinion, I would go with Kayali 'wedding silk santal' it's has more character and depth. I'll enjoy my sample and use it for bed, but won't buy the big bottle I feel like it's overpriced for what it is...

It smells like straight vanilla extract with a hint of woodiness. I think it smells better on clothes, it disappeared pretty fast on my skin. It drys down to a slightly soapy clean vanilla that is light enough to wear during the summer. I can definitely smell the chocolate and it’s slightly cinnamony. It’s really nice but I probably wouldn’t buy a whole bottle since it kinda smells like my bottle of fresh cream warm cashmere (dulce is a bit woodier though). 9/10

I usually don’t like powdery fragrances - this is very powdery but somehow inoffensive and pleasant to me though. Soft, feminine and sweet

my favourite vanilla fragrance! not overwhelmingly sweet, just pure vanilla heaven, i’ve gone through 3 big bottles and 4 10mls and honestly my only complaint is that it’s expensive for how much fragrance you get as it’s only 50ml and it’s easy to use up quickly :( lasts all day but definitely sits close to the skin

dulce by rosie jane smells like playdoh and baby formula on my skin when sprayed...but as it settles down its this beautiful clean milky scent. not on skin, but on clothes its GORG, brings the woodier notes out and lasts forever. one spray on my sweater a week ago and though intimate i can still smell it. im letting it macerate, smells like cold vanilla on clothes but stank baby formula on my skin, a shame >:

I sprayed this on my wrist and it turned my wrist yellow?? It’s very unoriginal - it is nice but it really is just a sweet vanilla perfume, although I won’t be using it due to it turning me into a minion.

It does remind me of Bianco Latte and Eclaire, but Dulce is very underwhelming IMO. I bought the 10ml one and the liquid is very oily, almost like a perfume oil (I am not saying this is bad, it's just a remark). Out of all fragrances from the "bianco latte" universe this one is the one I like the least. They are all synthetic and a tad plastic-y, but this one is the one with least projection and silage. It's also the least cloying one. There's something airy to it. Not good but not bad either. Meh.

tldr: clean, fresh, wood-enhancing vanilla icecream it truly is exactly how it is described: vanilla bean icecream with notes of hinoki wood! without any layerings, the perfume dries down throughout the day to become a sweet lactonic with slight vanilla notes. the drydown throughout the day also develops a clean, soap-ish scent. sometimes it also dries down and smells like vaseline tho?? this is the perfect light, clean, summer vanilla. you can tell the wood note is there, but it complements the vanilla so well and helps boost the vanilla icecream part! kudos to rosie jane and the research team, you truly understand complementary scents and the olfactories very well!! if you're looking for a vanilla extract straight perfume, this wont be it but its close enough! im a vanilla purist lover, and actually am looking for the best sugar free vanilla extract to use as a perfume... but this is the most perfect vanilla icecream scent so i might stick to this for now!
