I'd totally forgotten how absolutely unique, complex, feminine, crispy, slightly fruity, green and flowery delicious Noa is ...or maybe I just had a change of taste since I gave my first bottle away years ago. Long lasting and with great sillage. Perfect spring and summer scent. So glad, that I decided to repurchase 🥰 🤍💚🩷

It’s crazy to see how many notes there are in this perfume. It just smells like Noa. It’s comforting and soft and the perfect white musk.
I am a huge fan of soapy fragrances, and i love 'clean' and 'white tea'. I expected to like this. Unfortunately not to be so. For me it smelled like expensive face cream, exactly like the Nivea white cream or generic moisturiser or hand lotion. Creamy, slighly floral, a bit like beachball in a good way. BUT!!!!! It had a noticable note of bitterness and savory smell, almost animalic. The slighly sour 'cat wee' smell common on vintage perfumes. I could have sworn it was civet. Looking at the ingredients list, I assume it is the coriander and coffee. The overall effect is that if someone is wearing it, they dont smell like a lotion. they smell like perfume that smells of lotion, because the coffee /coriander sets it apart with complexity and francgrance artisticness. . for me the sillage was very poor. i could smell it but only with my nose near the skin. it was gone totally within around 3 hours which is the norm for EDT I guess. If your skin can handle coffee and coriander then it would be an expensive luxury lotion smell. but my skin as mentioned turns it sour and vintage cat wee note so i cannot wear this at all. it is a bargain for the price though, ebcause it does smell very expensive and a bit french
Beautifully blended notes! This is musky, cozy, creamy, and floral.
I love this. Does anyoe else get Nivea?
One of the most comforting scents I own. I absolutely love how creamy and smooth it is the whole journey through the notes. It doesn't last as long as I would like, but it is a cheaper scent on the market right now, worth every cent and more! There's nothing quite like it out there. Amazing bedtime scent as well!
The search ends here for a creamy skin scent. Works for all types of weather. Simply divine!
I have really grown to love this perfume. At first, it was very subtle and now I can literally smell it on me for a good while. I don't think it projects very much, but I don't care as long as I can smell it. such a beautiful, white, light musk, just a little bit of floral, with a slight coffee note. such a beautiful underrated scent
I wish the lily-of-the-valley and jasmine notes lasted longer, because when they disappear I get the coriander and incense in the dry down, and they kind of ruin it for me. So it’s an ok scent, but not perfection, at least not to me. (Everyone’s scent preferences are different. That’s what I love about fragrance, and I think that’s important to remember when reading and writing reviews.)
smells like a cross between myth by ellis brooklyn and jovan musk!
I didn't quite appreciate how it smelled on me, especially up close. But as a linen and room spray, wow, it blew my mind. It makes the room smell so pristine, immaculate, and yet cozy and comforting. Such an unexpected love.
Smells just like Nivea lotion.
Another love. This is lovely for bedtime or on a slow Sunday when you've had an everything shower and have used liberal amounts of a beautiful creamy smelling body lotion and are wearing the softest cream coloured lounge wear. It's a soft beautiful skin scent. Cashmere like and simple. You get the clean white florals at the top and fortunately I don't get any coffee but I particularly like the woody drydown. What a beauty.
Soapy lotion with a vintage feel! Noa is a very floral, musky, and soapy fragrance. I love it! Clean, elegant, and inoffensive. It smells like a floral, musky body lotion. This is my mother's favorite perfume. I always buy it for her birthday, and now I've also bought a bottle for myself. It's definitely worth it for a clean scent lover like myself. I also love the bottle and the pearl inside it. I do get the Dove + Nivea comparison. But to me, it does not smell like Dove soap. I really feel like Noa is more like a clean body lotion.
This is a staple in my collection. I initially bought it based on the reviews, but when I first sprayed it I wasn't impressed. I gave it to my mother and a few weeks later she was sitting near to me and I asked her what the beautiful smell was. She told me it was the Noa I had given to her. I went out the next day to purchase a large bottle for myself :) I would describe this as clean, soft, musky, angelic, comforting. It can be worn for any occasion but is more a day-time scent for me. Its good for layering as well. Its just a classic and amazing for the price. The image it gives me is a woman who lives alone in a gorgeous cosy home, its Sunday morning and she's had an everything shower and is wearing beautiful lounge-wear. She's curled up on the sofa under a blanket, with a cup of coffee and is watching the rain fall outside. She's not in a rush, she's taking her time and letting the day unfold as it will.
The newer bottles are too weak and watery. I am giving up on this . IF I see a vintage bottle I will give it another go. GRADE: D.
I wore this fragrance when it was first released and loved it. I forgot about it completely until a content creator was talking about it on YouTube and I recognized the bottle and little pearl. I went online and purchased it immediately ... so affordable. I still love it! It's soapy, clean, floral and musky. What's not to love? I'm so happy we found each other again!
Smells a LITTLE like Tom Ford White Suede upon dry down. But to compare this to White Suede is like comparing first degree murder to a parking ticket. GRADE: C plus. Waiting for this to project a little is MURDER!
I revisited it after 26 years!I was madly in love in 2000 when it was just release. It was so interesting and one of a kind I was madly in love with it.I was thinking of it these days and for sentimental reasons i wanted to order it blind ,but i just saw ot today in a store and decided to postpone the purchase.Well....i dont know if my nose ,smelled thousands and thousand of perfumes,or my chemistry or the formula is changed but i smelled one dated creamy and little bit grannish fragrance.I was so shocked ,because i know how it smelled on me during 2000 and i cant believe it is the same obe.Well, the drydown has similarities ,but nothing in common with the excitement i had when i smelled it on 2000.It was modern, young and full of life. Now i just smell one older women, tired of life sitting in her leaving room ,who put on a nice hand cream waiting for nothing.I am sad on one hand and happy that i saved money for something else.I think some fragrances should stay in our memories only and thats it.
Warm like a candle scent and very similar to good chemistry's jasmine rose body spray that was gifted to me years ago. Can't smell coffee at all thankfully because I'm allergic to coffee. Definitely cozy if used in the winter at night, idk why people are saying it's a spring day perfume
A perfume without fault. It's timeless. A less sweet floral musk (except for the immediate spray) that I use as a skin scent. Effervescent florals burn off to leave a woody and unified base. Doesn't last long, but these airy scents don't, besides being an EDT. I don't get soap or powder as others have, and I haven't used it before bed to sleep...I'll have to try that. I hope they never stop making it.
It definitely smells dated to my nose (born 1997), which I don't experience often. Also very familiar smelling, reminds me of many mothers, grandmothers, teachers, nurses, etc. Both of these factors (dated scent profile + familiar) cause me to enjoy it less than I could. It's creamy and musky, very lotion-esque as others have noted. I don't really get much greenness or floral at all. It's nice overall. I can really appreciate a dated, vintage, old-school profile, but this one really strikes me as mature in a way that many others don't. It evokes the image of a put-together, motherly woman in her late 40s - late 50s. It's the lovely lady whose perfumed lotion is just a touch too strong, leaning over your desk, coming just a little too close. She's motherly, but she's not your mom.
Lotion-like and powdery. Smells like my granny but not in a bad way. It's very comforting and motherly. I like to wear this to sleep, or after a shower for that "freshly lotioned" feel. It smells great in bedsheets too.
Comforting and calming. It's like if the scent of dove original bar soap and nivea cream were mixed together into a perfume, it smells clean. I really like the pearl in the bottle and I like swirling it around lol. I only wish that it would last longer because the scent fades away quickly and I have to re spray it often throughout the day.
EPITOME OF A SKIN SCENT!! 🧖🏻 Imagine taking a warm shower with Dove bar and then applying Nivea creme in bed and Ponds talc powder ....you get whiffs of warm clean musky skin with creamy, soapy and powdery aspects - thats what Noa smells like 🧼🐑🦪 A popular signature scent that's wearable all year round,, it's v linear and prolly the simplest scent I've tried so far Longevity is quite low and it performs as a skin scent only,, most people ik wear it to bed 🌫️
One of my favorites. To my nose it smells like a comforting hug. I enjoy it most before sleeping. It helps me to get a very good sleep
I love Cacharel Noa!!!! It’s my everyday scent. I wear it all the time, even before bed. It’s one of the first perfumes that doesn’t give me a headache or make me feel nauseous, which is huge for me. I always swirl the bottle just to watch the pearl spin around lol What I really like is that it doesn’t try hard to be a perfume. It just makes you smell good in a quiet and easy way. I can wear it anywhere without worrying about annoying others. If I had to compare this scent to a feeling or location, maybe a lake without the dirt and grass. Just pure lake, with flowers that aren't too heavy, but just light. It's nostalgic in a way that reminds me of someone from childhood who had that skin scent (not exactly a perfume scent). That makes sense because a lot of people used Dove soap back then, and honestly, this smells somewhat like Dove. It's very soapy too. Not exactly aquatic, but still gives those clean ocean-lake vibes. Hmm… maybe like taking a bath in a pool without the chlorine and ozone smell lol. That said, a couple of things keep it from being perfect for me. When it dries down, I swear I catch a little bit of a sweat smell. Not in a gross way, but… sweet sweat? It’s a little too sweet for my taste, not sugary candy sweet, just that kind of warm, sweet sweat note. I’d love it so much more if it were a bit more musky or powdery instead. Also, I don’t smell the coffee or wood notes at all lol Still, I reach for it almost every day! Before going out, before sleeping, everything. Just a really comfortable, headache‑free scent.
I probably have already left a review for this, but I'm wearing this again today and this is absolutely lovely. It has a very nice intimate sillage that smells like you're freshly showered. It's powdery but fresh. The bottle is beautiful with the little pearl inside. The atomizer is also AMAZING as it is wider for easier pressing. I'm in my 30s and this does not feel dated to me. This smells like woodland fairy babies if that makes sense lol
If I could only have one perfume for the rest of my life I'd probably choose this one which is funny because I never actually owned it. It's not even the smell that's so intriguing about this but the texture, I can't really explain what I mean lol. I guess it just works very well with my skin chemistry. There are so many your skin but better perfumes nowadays, but this is the one that makes me feel like a mysterious black cat who cleans herself all day long and you just want to dig your nose in her fur all the time <3 Also most beautiful bottle ever. Also I stole a 5ml vintage version from my mother's mean friend 15 years ago, that one was definitely better than the current formulation but the newer version is still very nice. Don't blind buy it though, It probably smells dated to most people under 25
