Smells very different on my mood. Sometimes it smells like deodorant, while at other times has a wonderful spicy cocoa that can dominate an entire room.
Nose Note #1083 Well, I've previously had BAD Homme by Maison Alhambra (which was a bit soapier) and now I'm desperately trying to kill off the 50ml I have of FW Bad Lad. I must say, the dupes got it 85% close. Bad Boy does have the more realistic cocoa note that the two dupes don't really have. Bad Lad is worse, the performance on it is quite bad. You have to bathe yourself in it to get something equal to Bad Boy, which can be considered a pro - it's more versatile and fits even a high heat situation. Bad Boy is not for summer. All three stick to clothes pretty good, but on skin they are all shy. Bad Boy is definately more interesting than the dupes. Both dupes nailed the direction, but sacrificed the depth. Bad Boy is in line with the generic mass market trend, but it is one of the better representatives - and it is rather memorable. As to the scent itself - it's hard to describe, you just have to smell it. It's sort of cocoa-ish, but not quite. Moderately sweet. Quite dense. Warm. Besides that - it's a grey area. It does have certain sophistication. I can't say it's as juvenile as the bottle looks. 7/10, a thing most people will find pleasant
Beautiful spicy scent that's modern and inoffensive. Wearable all year around. A bit too adolescent for me.
I must’ve gotten a bad batch because mine smells like literal play dough and it just does not last or smell good at all.
I'm realllly enjoying this. It's not a style I'd wear but I definitely want my hubby to wear this. Wowza. I've been sniffing my arm off and on for two hours. Yum. It's nice and cozy spicy at the start, plus lots of pepper. As the pepper dissipates, the freshie cedar appears with a bit of soap and a touch of aquatic for a short time. ALL of it is delightful!
smells like an arabic man
I think this is just perfect man fragrance. I love it! I little bit spicy little bit sweet little bit citrus in it. Perfect.
Perfume bizarro, um nada com nada, não consigo identificar nenhuma nota e ainda dá cheiro de clara de ovo em mim
Ladies LOVE when i wear this. This fragrance is very nostalgic to me, reminds me of the days of being in high school and over spraying axe dark temptation after practice. It is potent, long lasting, affordable; and out of all the modern sweet youthful designers, this is definitely my favorite.
people complain about this being "just another fragrance," but this is solid. it doesn’t need to be the most unique. before i had really crossed the line and gotten ass-deep into fragrance, this was the only bottle i had and it was my signature. i knew beforehand that i liked pepper as a note cuz i had sauvage before this. but besides pepper in the opening, i get bergamot, tonka, and later cacao in the dry down. a smooth, easy going, crowd pleaser. wouldn’t get another bottle in the near future cuz i’ve had it for years, but definitely again down the line.
After the first smell, I already had my opinion. Imagine if someone tried to create a creamy 1 million-inspired cupcake, replaced mandarin with bergamot, but accidentally decided it wasn’t already good, so they mixed the cake with body gel - that’s what this fragrance is about This one is a little bit fresher and less spicy in comparison with Paco’s Legend. The similarity is way too obvious, and you know who was the first one - 1 million already celebrated its first decade at the moment when Bad Boy was announced. Is it an attempt to push the legendary DNA in mass again with another name, because OG got too many bad stereotypes? Well, if that’s the case, it’s a great job and a clever decision. Too much hate for objectively perfect DNA, that got too many rumors despite being literally a king of night You know, the whole situation reminds me of Coca-Cola and debates: some people say cola is better, others prefer Pepsi, but the fact is they all like the same sweet taste. Some kind of "choose who you want to be deceived by" If I were asked to give an opinion solely based on the composition, then it’s a good gourmand-fresh fragrance for dates and nights. If being more subjective and honest, it’s not a unique DNA but some kind of resurrection of 1 million for the audience that never smelled it, but already too biased. I wanted to say it has a better value, but the price is even a bit more expensive, while the performance is also much worse… Just get the million. The Bad Boy is only justified if you're that dependent on other people's opinions and stereotypes
another boring, generic, synthetic designer scent, has some short of sweet fresh masculine vibe that's been overdone by designer scents, lots of other better options for the price 1/10
Very poor performance. Nothing special, most interesting thing is the bottle, that bad...
Im surprised this is rated so low. Its a simple cold weather fragrance. Its best note is a very realistic cacao profile; its intense & smells like a mix of ground nuts & chocolate. Its very strong & only mildly sweet. Its earthy & woody also with a hint of citrus. Additionally a very realistic tonka bean which is very almond-like. If youre looking for something that goes for realism & not overly sweet like many modern fragrances, then Bad Boy EDT is for you! Im shocked still at how realistic the cacao/tonka is! Its not the traditional gourmand that thinks edible means sugary/sweet! It literally the scent of a bag of assorted nuts! Its citrus is faint & fades fast revealing another realistic white/pink pepper. Pink pepper comes off with the usual tartness, while the white pepper is gently savory. Moderate performance around 6 hours. I really like it, despite being called bad boy I could see men of all ages & temperaments wear this. Its mature but also youthful. Definitely the scent i could see guys between 20-50 wearing.
The opening is a bit synthetic, but the signature is a candidate to be a smell If you want to have a different smell than everyone else but not scream too much, this perfume is that perfume. It's both stylish and fresh, but it's a smell that only those next to you can hear, whether or not you like it is completely variable. I personally recommend this perfume, but buy it when it's on sale and original. I think it's necessary to squeeze 8-10 times Two wrists 2nd neck back Under breast 2 times and after tightening the arms twice, it is okay. Don't expect too much, but you won't regret buying it. If you have a single perfume or if you have a second perfume, definitely do not buy it, it is not a perfume suitable for every occasion. I don't think it's appropriate for blind habituation either Respectfully Loves Stay with perfume
It's okay, I mostly smell cedarwood. The reason I marked it as dislike is because on my skin it turns into a nail polish/nail polish remover type smell. I wouldn't recommend it. Update: my husband says it smells like cigarettes on me. Love that.
. . . It was one of the first fragrances I ever owned, and for me it easily sits in my top five. I bought it as a clone while carefully trying to figure out what kind of scents I truly enjoy. Over time, it became a fragrance that takes me to distant places. There is a beautiful nuance brought by the cocoa note. I can honestly say that this fragrance taught me what cocoa really is, and what chocolate truly smells like. It does have a synthetic touch, but it is by no means disturbing. On the contrary, I find it quite uplifting and pleasant. The warmth coming from the cedarwood adds depth to the composition and creates a structure that keeps drawing you back in. The cocoa that accompanies it feels quite sexy on the skin. It even makes me think that cocoa shell might have been used as well. As time goes by, the bergamot fades away completely. In fact, I only realize it’s gone once the fragrance has dried down. During the first half hour, I wouldn’t really say that bergamot is clearly present.
I wear this to school and pretty much every I ask loves it. People say it’s “generic” but it works really well for any situation in the winter.
The pepper smell in the start is not so good, but after 2-3 minuter this is a banger
i feel like bad boy edt doesn't get talked about enough. this opens up with an aromatic but sweet spiciness with that cacao punching through all of the notes. after a while though, it dries down to this sweet vanilla fragrance creating a nice chocolate-vanilla contrast. the cedarwood and pink pepper ground this fragrance and give it a masculine quality, although i must say this is definitely by no means a mature fragrance, since i feel its a bit too sweet and honestly lacks a bit of depth or complexity. definitely a safe blind buy for most guys out there, and it pulls compliments too. only gripe from my side is the bottle design; i find it to be a bit too tacky.
Overall a pretty okay scent, with a nice edge to it. “Bad boy” describes it well. In my opinion it leans more toward younger people, like up to around 20. It’s not really gourmand, more of a sweet freshie. In the opening you mainly get cocoa and some fresh notes. Then it transitions into a heart with grassy, forest-floor type notes, with a slight sweetness in the background. That “forest floor” vibe smells like a leafy forest close to the ground. In the drydown, there’s still a bit of sweetness from cocoa and tonka, but that fresh, leafy/forest vibe is still present. I mostly see it for casual outings in autumn, maybe winter. The biggest downside is performance, both projection and longevity are weak. It needs a lot of sprays, and after a few hours it’s barely there, even close to the skin.
Sweet. Smells like Axe. A bit generic or mainstream but the bottle is nice if you like appreciating the design
If they just hyped this more from the start in some way, coz it great for younger ppl, smells modern and nice.
Too chocolate thick for me. If they dosed down the cocoa and amped up the peppers, it would score higher. Maybe some patchouli as well
It's an interesting, yet generic fragrance. Spicy at the beginning, overtime gets sweeter (with fruity notes) and more woody. When applied moderately, radiates around you, but is not overwhelming. Applying too much changes the smell into an unpleasant mess. Lasts a fair amount, perfect for an evening out, and on clothes a faint hint of it stays even for a couple of days. May be too generic for some, but that makes it a safe option if experimenting with more unique compositions is not viable. Personally, I find this fragrance great for my needs, especially in colder months. 9/10
yummy scent but not anything special, you can find the 3 oz bottles for cheap these days at a discounter - worth it! but at full price ehhhh….
Very cacao. Surprisingly sweet. I'd say it's unisex. it smells ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Absolutely perfect for cold weather.
My second favorite fragrance after Creed Silver Mountain Water. It feels expensive and refined. In my opinion, it is a very beautiful composition. Suitable for evening wear. I would call it unisex, as it does not feel harsh, but rather gentle and velvety. Many girls like it, and you can hear compliments about it. It also has excellent performance for an eau de toilette, and you can still feel it on your clothes the next day.
Mid. If you are new in to this community you can try and start your journey with this one. Okay performance, good price. Definitely crowd pleaser. But more you try the other fragrances, this one will eventually start to feel dull to you.
Fall in love with this bad boy! Also if you are for a similar ish dupe, Ajayeb dubai portrait black is pretty much %80 to %85 close
