CH Men

CH Men is a true joker fragrance in my collection—easy to wear, versatile, and suitable for almost any occasion throughout the year. It has a smooth, warm, slightly sweet character that works well in both casual and more dressed-up settings. Although it can be worn year-round, I especially enjoy it during winter. To give it more depth and a richer seasonal feel, I personally layer it with Absolute Oud. The oud adds darkness, warmth, and intensity, transforming CH Men into something more luxurious and wintery without overpowering its original character. A reliable, comfortable, and highly versatile fragrance that becomes even more interesting with the right layering.

Precisamente por experiencia puedo decir que es el regalo perfecto para alguien que empiece a probar perfumes dulces, siendo hombre (joven). Porque normalmente si tienes cierta edad, es probable que hayas crecido con perfumes masculinos con acordes o más cítricos o más oscuros, sin ser dulces. Entonces me gusta ver a este como el paso natural a un perfume dulce que es masculino y que además no satura. Eso lo hace ser versátil, de hecho. Podría llevarse a una cita, al cine, salidas en general e incluso para la escuela, aunque con pocas atomizaciones. En calor tampoco le va mal si no te pasas con la aplicación, pero sí se lleva un poco más cómodo en frío. Hay que remarcar que sí se nota un aroma más juvenil, algo así como de 25 años para abajo se lleva excelente. Ojalá la duración fuera mayor y con eso sería suficiente, porque aunque la proyección es media-baja, está bien que sea así porque mantiene la fragancia versátil. Al haber sido un regalo, no estoy seguro del precio, pero en paquete con decant y desodorante estuvo cerca de $2500 MXN. Seguro que sólo la fragancia está en un mejor rango. Lo aprovecharía como un perfume para salidas si eres alguien en el rango de edad que comenté, si quieres tener presencia sin necesidad de llamar la atención. Look at the note breakdown: woods, spices, leather, aromatics, citruses - there's no way performance will be an issue, right? One of those base notes HAS to stick around for a while, right? Wrong. The scent itself is phenomenal - 9.5 out of 10, losing the 1/2 point for the overly sweet first 15 minutes, but the performance is brutally bad - 3/10. That being said, it's not completely useless. The performance (1 hour of projection, 4-5 hours on the skin) is virtually identical to the original LNDL, and CH Men can be used in the exact same way - as a solid date night scent. If that's all you're looking for, this stuff would be an excellent pick-up for you. The wife loves this one (she actually likes it better than LNDL) so I'll wear it again on the next date night.

Previously I was testing Armaf Excellus which went from "ok" through a maturation/maceration phase to a high "like"; researching the fragrance deeper it appeared that more experienced fragheads than myself pegged Excellus as being ~80% CH Men EDT instead of a 1:1; it's fairly inexpensive on discounters so I grabbed it and almost immediately noticed that the difference is probably more substantial. Sweet grassy mixed citrus open that get peppery near the tail end, chalk full of floral spices that you can't stop sniffing on your skin, and then there's the base. Have you ever eaten candied bacon? The base is candied vanilla leather, served on one of those huge outdoor wooden tables used at Oktoberfest. Excellus was a high like, this is a love. I think it's seductive af for intimate situations.

Wear it every March 6 which is my daughter's birthday. Brings back memories for me I'll cherish until they bury me. However I have the vintage with brown snakeskin leather and red emblem. The new stuff is a joke.

Smells very good but it doesn’t last long on my skin. I have a new batch so not sure about the OG formula. But it is a great scent good for the office and date night but not as a signiture scent due to performance issues IMO. Good for all seasons, maybe dial it back on hot summer days. But all in all 4/5.

CH Men has a lot of personal history for me. I wore this fragrance non-stop about 15 years ago, and it was my signature scent for a couple of years—until my dad “stole” it from me. At that point, I had to move on asI didn’t want to smell like my dad! hahaha Scent-wise, it’s slightly sweet, smooth, and very well balanced. On my skin, I don’t get much of the leather note, which I actually appreciate. Everything blends nicely and is very easy to wear. Longevity isn’t the best by today’s standards, but it’s not terrible. It performs reasonably well for a designer fragrance with moderate projection that fades gradually. Even though CH Men feels a bit outdated now, it still smells really good. It would be nice if Carolina Herrera released a modern remake or updated version of this scent.

This one is so good & you can get it for a relatively cheap price if I had to make a comparison it reminds me of Ferragamo EDT with a slight mix of Le Beau Flower edition you really get that sweet violet leaf it’s so good ! I wasn’t sure how it was going to smell people said the grass note can be hard to get over but I don’t smell the grass at all, and then it dries down to a sugary, slightly leathery smell. Great value for the money easy blind reach good for anytime of year except maybe when it’s very very hot out . 8.5/10 the rating would be higher but it doesn’t last the longest

This is a sweet scent that smells sugary and floral with light leather. If this were stronger, it would be cloying. This is more of a date night or event type of fragrance that you wear once in a while. I can't really see this as being a daily wear type of fragrance just based on its super sweet, flirty and playful scent profile. It's actually kind of strong. I think people are going nose blind to it.

After 2weeks of texting back and forward girl decided to pass by my office witch of course it’s a closed controlled environment and it’s 30 degrees outside.. I had this on (the OG one with strip) left kiss right kiss and she realised on how much good I smelled after the visit she even texted me (you really smell good omg type of compliment) I did expect that in reality cause it’s CH. Fresh Sweet Sexy Day time / Open or Closed environments only 9/10 Scent 7/10 for performance 5/10 for sillage NB: Spray it on clothes or reapply from time to time Timeless and worth it

Elegant scent. There are 2 aspect of this fragrance. First one is fresh watery from the florals The second one is sweet with leather. You can smell the second one from the beginning but it become more dominant through time as the freshness fades Great evening fragrance.

Starts of with fresh cut grass and citruses then quickly gets into a sweet, sugary leather. This is a nice young guys leather scent. Sadly it's pretty weak in longevity and projection.

Nose Note #422 I first had Trussardi My Land and then this. Well, in the air (without comparing side by side) they are super similar to me, they kind of create the same image. It's has a lot of green grassy body with this interesting violet-like Fahrenheit leather (read: cucumber/gasoline accent). Just like I absolutely love Dior Fahrenheit, I love both of these CH Men and My Land. CH Men is much more bitter and has less sweetness to my nose then My Land (and depending on how you render sweetness, one could say there's no sweetness in neither of them), and actually reminds me of Nasomatto Absinth with this wormwood-bitter grass note, but it's not nearly as bitter and not really wormwood of course, but it's still feels similarly dry and bitter. My Land is much more "mass-market" and more likeable I'd say, it's easier to like. Again, if you compare them side by side I'd say the similarily is around 75%. I can't say if having both is redundant and which one is better. But My Land is cheaper! CH Men is definately a little stronger. 8.5, same I gave for My Land. With loving memory of Fahrenheit

I got this as a gift probably... gosh, 10 years ago?The first several years of owning it, I was very confused by it. I thought it was way too sweet for my liking, hence why I still have it still this many years later. I would wear it every once in awhile as a "might as well" (I didn't have many frags at the time). Well eventually I ended up liking it more and more, but I still don't wear it very often. I definitely get a sugary leather/ suede vibe from it, which is a weird thing to say. What exactly IS a sugary leather??? There's also a definite green freshness to this. I wouldn't say it smells like grass but definitely "green". It doesn't last forever, but just over spray and you'll be fine. I'd say it lasts 5-6 hours. I used to think this was a strictly date/ winter frag due to the extreme sweetness, but honestly find myself wearing this more as an everyday frag in spring or summer.

Somehow I always thought this was discontinued, however I got a decant from a discounter and immediately fall in love with it. After that I looked online, found and immediately bought 3 backup bottles (that’s how much I love it) and doesn’t regret one bit. This stuff is charming, good vibe, inviting but doesn’t scream attention. Suits a calm & collected gentleman

CH Men is a perfectly balanced sweet and smooth suede leather fragrance with fresh nuances in the opening. The performance is a tad below average to begin with, but allowing your bottle to age for a few months after a few uses really helps it perform better. So, don’t worry—apply liberally. Age range that is more appropriate for wearing this is ages 27-70 years old, I think any younger for most men this fragrance would likely be a mismatch. I remember smelling this all the time when I was a kid. I’m greatful for how these once recognizable by everyone scents lose all the hype and become unique again.

One of the only amber dominant fragrances that I really like..amber is just not my thing, usually it's too sweet and synthetic. This one however is a warm amber frag with a really nice leather base. It's sweet but done just right, not too sweet This is in the same vein as Dolce and Gabbana the one and YSL La nuit D’ Lhomme. But I don’t like those ones so much, they’re kinda boring. This one is better imo However this one is very unfortunate because the performance is abysmal. It is super weak sadly. If it performed well it would be a banger Maybe it has something to do with the sugar, because sugar is a really light note and there is a lot of sugar note in this. Basically I just get amber, leather, sugar, and some very light vanilla. I get no citrus in this or green notes whatsoever, don't know what other reviewers are talking about. Possibly I got a different formulation? Possibly I get some suede or cashmere in here idk. There is something in here that smells a little damp, maybe that's the oakmoss, but honestly all the other notes listed besides amber, sugar, leather, and vanilla are basically imperceptible The one I have is nice though. It's very well done in the blend, but again the performance is so terrible that it's probably not worth getting a full bottle, although I'm tempted In my view this is a colder weather fragrance. Either fall or winter. But honestly if it's night time you could wear it in any season This is strictly a date night scent. It's very impressive for dates for a man. I would say it leans to the younger crowd, but in reality a guy up to about age 50 could pull it off if dressed right. The only issue is I doubt your date could smell you unless she got up close. But if she did she might be delighted scent-7/10 versatility-4/10 value-4/10 performance-3/10 overall-5/10

The first sniff on my wrist wasn't good but as it began to dry down like 5 minutes later all the way to now it does smell really really good. I'd consider getting this if I didn't already have so many fragrances in this vein in my collection

To be honest, I don't really get all of the hype surrounding this fragrance. I mostly get grass, a bit of woods, and some vetiver. Unfortunately, I don't find this fragrance all that unique or special. Kind of a 5/10 across the board. Decent projection, decent longevity, decent scent, decent price. Not much to complain overall, just seemed really hyped and I don't get it. If you like this fragrance, by all means! Keep rocking it! Just isn't really for me. Edit - after leaving this fragrance for some time, I've decided to give it to my dad for a spin, and only then did I start to pick up on this scent's complexity and depth. Maybe it's my skin chemistry, maybe my nose had improved over the past few months - whatever the case may be - I have a newfound appreciation for this scent.

I get compliments with this one. It smells sophisticated and modern. I've been asked at a club what I am wearing. It's lovely sexy scent, I'm on my third bottle now.

It’s not bad. I wish it was a tad stronger, but it’s good. I wouldn’t say it was a way out there fragrance either. Fairly clean smelling. Little mossy.

Well I am late to the game on this one. I did a blind buy on this one and to my surprise it was not exactly what I was expecting. It is actually a bit different than what I have in my collection. First spray you feel the clean, fresh grassy notes and its sweet but not overly sweet. After it settles I do get violet with a woody earthy note. It is still clean and less grassy but it starts going in a heavier direction. I guess the nutmeg note pops up it is a spicy kick. So far it does feel designer but not the sweet vanilla bombs we have right now. This one is more into aromatic, fresh, a touch floral, sweetness light leather. And leans very masculine I don’t feel it is very unisex. After like 30 minutes I get leather but not raw leather, its more of a cleaner leather with a soft creamy tone. The earthy grassy note it is still there. It only projects for the first hour at arms length after that it comes closer to the body but its not weak. I don’t feel it’s casual, it’s more office, datenight, wedding, night out. It is not loud and it has a more mature blend meaning late 20’s and up. What I liked the most is that the sweetness never gets out of hand, its there but doesn’t overwhelm. It is smooth the sharpest note might be the violet but its not even sharp. I feel this one is really balanced as it doesn’t go fully fresh or fully dark and heavy, it stays in the middle in a way. The drydown is woodsy, very subtle creamy leather, sweetness but more natural sweetness doesn’t feel syrupy. The earthy grassy note still there but more light as it blends in with the other notes. This is a great scent it is more on the TDH category but with a more mainstream blend. Best part of it, all of it. The opening , the mid and the drydown. Its a subtle transition but its not linear. It lasts a good 6-7 hours on skin, I really liked it, as it is more mature more on the gentleman side. You can wear it during spring, cool summer nights, fall and early winter. Its heavy for a hot summer day so I would not wear it, I would go more fresh than this. And it might be a little weak for cold winters. Almost a year round scent. I will definitely get a backup bottle of this fragrance. 100ml/3.4oz bottle is around the $50 dollar range. (If you like Burberry touch you will like this one) Scent 9/10 Performance 6/10 Price 9/10 Longevity 7/10

I happened to have the vintage red ribbon version batch 03061 (year 2010), the longevity is pretty good, sprayed it on my skin at 6.30 AM and still can detect it faintly at 4.00 PM. Never smell the recent batch so I can't compare them...
