Baiser Vole

A clean, dewy floral scent laced with fresh green undertones, like a bouquet you've just picked, still sprinkled with water, with the scent of damp stems and earth clinging to the flowers. It's beautiful, elegant, and leans slightly mature, yet I think it works well for both women and men.

I hate generally white floral but on this perfume I have no complains about it. It smells young, fresh and sexy, instead of reminding me of my grandmother. I love what Cartier did with this.

Definitely not for everyone. I had a small sample I purchased, and happy I did that and did not buy the full bottle. It is a nice scent, do not get me wrong, and at the time it was released it was really something extraordinary and different, but now we have a bigger variety of nicely done perfumes for a better price. But I would not be angry if this one would be given to me on my birthday ;) It is a scent for a woman who knows what she wants, office, daily scent, likes her career, work, she is successful and earned her lifestyle.

I was looking for this scent because I love the smell of the lilies in my garden. I wasn't really expecting this but the perfume smells almost identical to my white lilies it is a fantastic, fresh floral fragrance with green notes. The green notes evoke the impression of lily stems and leaves, making the fragrance photorealistic image of white lilies. I think the fragrance should be labeled as unisex. As a man I love to wear it, it is relaxing and soothing. Sometimes less is more! (If somebody knows a fragrance that resemble purple lillies, message me!)

Opens crisp, fresh & green like the door to your local florist & if it stayed that way, I'd love it. Unfortunately, it does not. After about 5 minutes, it transforms into a very unremarkable, thick, waxy-powdery & nondescript white floral. Very forgettable.

This is a daytime scent that I find calming and appropriate for office, brunch, corporate celebration, formal dinner party. It is light, powdery, mature (not in a “old lady” sense, but a grown, elegant woman sense). Although it is a lily scent, there is no tropical or waxy aspect, no sweetness. It is a cool white flower that grows in the shade of a greenhouse; formal, expensive, regal yet understated. Quiet luxury personified. I feel grounded when I wear it, and don’t get tired of it due to its soft profile. Yes, Baiser Vole is a floral scent, but indeed a tasteful whisper of it. Longevity is okay, it stays on clothes and hair longer than on skin. If you are looking for a perfume that goes with your white silk or pearls, this is it. I also picture Charlotte Rampling on a safari… a geometric pattern head scarf, cool linen trousers and vest, brown aviators and crocodile shoes? A famous actress from Agatha Christie’s mystery?) The bottle’s classic lighter design is also elegant and fun. It clicks, too)

Citrusy realistic white floral, an old lady’s wet dream.

The most realistic smell of green leaves and stems ever. Loved it although it was very expensive and had longevity of abt 30minutes

I had Baiser Vole on my wishlist for the longest time because it's a perfect green perfume for the Spring. This is 2000s designer perfection in a bottle, totally lovely in its simplicity and elegance. It brings to mind a bouquet of lilies dunked into a vase and dew-covered blades of green grass. There's some lactonic sweetness here despite the greenness, but maybe that's just how my brain interprets the note of lily. I still think Baiser Vole is gorgeous, but I no longer want a bottle. I don't feel my best self when wearing lilies- this fragrance reads like "Goth in the Springtime" to me.

Smell of sophistication and luxury.

A very elegant and feminine lily fragrance. Despite the prominent lily note listed, it’s not a sharp or piercing floral. It actually has a shampoo-like scent, and to my nose it smells exactly like the Kérastase Discipline line.

I love a lily fragrance!! ❤️❤️❤️It’s a very realistic lily/white floral scent that is incredibly elegant! It wears lightly on my skin yet creates the most comforting scent bubble around me! It’s delicate but definitely detectable. It has a crisp greenness that somehow makes me envision fresh line dried white sheets! It has a fabulous simplicity to it. It’s not super complex yet retains such beauty. It would be stunning in spring and summer. It certainly could be worn all year, I just tend to wear deeper scents in cooler weather. This is not a floral bomb, I don’t think anyone would ever say it’s cloying or offensive. Gorgeous!

The first spray is pure lily, very close to the smell of freshly cut lilies. Clean, with a slightly watery white-floral quality. After a while, a green note from the stems and leaves appears. In the drydown there is a faint hint of powder, but it fades quickly. The whole fragrance stays fresh from beginning to end—essentially the scent of a single lily flower.

i think i do not like lilly as much as i want it to be that much prevalent note in a perfume. i could not finish my 10 ml decant bottle in one year.

I have a tester of this perfume and I sprayed it on me today before a very difficult confrontation with an important person for me. I had to stand my ground today, and this fragrance was my subtle company. This fragrance reminds me of some lady I knew when I was a kid, it speaks of womanly power, of elegance and grace. It gave me strength and confidence. This same evening I went to buy the 30ml which is now a very important object for me, something to remind me of this day and how I dealt with it. I think it's not a modern fragrance but so timeless and elegant, definitely a beautiful perfume.

Very nice. :) A very simple blend of lilies, citrus, and green notes. It doesn't last too long on me (it's also really cold right now so maybe this performs better in heat?), but it's very pleasant. I think lilies can sometimes give off a "cold" feeling, but the blend of this makes the scent feel cozy despite that. I think this would be a very pleasing blind buy for anyone who isn't a super trendy gourmand fan. Nice for introverts and more refined, demure women.

I used to have this as "love", but it's honestly not green enough for me anymore. It now smells a little old to me; it has a dated note if I sniff it for too long. I hesitate to call the lily scent overripe, but that's the kind of face I make when I smell it now. I can only smell the green notes occasionally, but when I do smell them I think they are top tier and photorealistic. It's definitely a white floral scent. I would say that it smells like a crabtree and evelyn soap or lotion. Probably better in the spring. Dying to try the Fraiche version

I think what everyone else is saying is true--I read the reviews here before getting a 2ml sample. yes, lily, yes, green, but my god. this smells like soap you'd find at a boutique bed and breakfast or something and (to me!) not in a good way. my grandparents used to take all the soaps from their hotels and put them in a giant wicker dish in their guest bathroom. this smells like that to me. when I first sprayed it the initial !!CLEAN!! scent was so strong I was actually kind of taken aback. but I think a lot of people would like that tbh. for me, no.

This is a very floral, very green smell. It's powdery as well, and I'm obsessed with it. This smells like it's a spring day, you just took a bubble bath, and your home is COVERED in plants and flowers, like you have a garden in your home at this point. Baiser Vole smells amazing, and I can't wait to get it again. It's a nice, clean smell, and it's very feminine.

Ok its a realistic lily but really unbalanced molecules and I don’t think this is what LILY smells like… i’ve tried a lot of lily fragrances before i know exactly what lily smells like… white spicy a little powdery and sometimes waxy Beside 212 nyc women which is a clean bomb musk&lily fragrance but it has a bunch of other flowers although the really realistic beautiful lily fragrances is bamboo gucci… bamboo really smells like Lily when it comes to baiser volé its a really light synthetic green lily which I don’t think im a fan of

I have a story with that perfume 😍 almost 10 years ago I got it from my mother and I was in LOVE! I couldnt stop smelling it and I received many compliments. I couldnt find it anymore and years later, I got a small sample from one girl. Something was..off. it wasn't it. It was smelling so bad and synthetic eventually had to get rid of it. Now I was in a store and just in case I smelled the bottle and oh my, that's it again, my first love perfume 🩷

Not exactly a review, but I tested this on my wrist and the spot turned red and itchy for a few minutes. It's the first time I see something like this happening and I don't have known allergies, but if you do be careful if you want to try this :) Very "clean laundry" type of scent, lovely floral and green notes and I love the bottle design. Unluckily I'll keep myself away from it

Um verdadeiro extrato de lírios, floral branco e verde, mas tão verde que é possível sentir o talo e as folhas da flor macerados, realista. Chique e refinado, para quem aprecia a flor de lírio pode se jogar em Baiser Volè. Conforme evolue percebo uma faceta atacada também. Projeção e fixação na medida, perfeito para primavera, no verão acho que pode sufocar um pouco.

I used to like this a lot. Not much anymore. It’s pretty and feminine and somehow it just doesn’t suit me anymore. Maybe it’s the wrong season to retest my bottle. I’ll wait until spring and see if it gets given away or stays.

Yeah its the most realistic lily Creamy lily and peppery it the same time Somehow cardamomy spicy maybe the littlest hints of cloves But although just warm white floral fragrance opens with fresh peppery lily and ends with cardamomy lily Not safe blind buy at all I actually prefer the Lily’s in like 212 hugo boss femme cus they are mixed with other flowers which makes it magical but on its own or maybe in this specific fragrance I wasn’t the biggest fan too much spices but i know a looott of people will adore this scent give it a try !! 6/10

Finally. Years ago, I accidentally purchased the EDT when I intended to buy this one. I’ve since sold the EDT and Lys Rose, and while wrapping them up for their new homes I began to grieve the loss of the gorgeous bottles (😭 maybe my favorite in my collection) and I thought, OK I ought to track down a bottle of the one I actually wanted years ago. So I did. I can’t get over how insanely good the Lily is. For me, this is femininity in a bottle. She stands firmly in her soliflore but keeps you guessing. She’s cool and yet warm. She’s a bit spicy but reveals a sweetness in due time. You think you know her to be one thing, but she surprises you. Ultimately, she feels like coming home. The dry down is slightly too sweet for me to enjoyably wear in high heat. But all other weather would be appropriate, in my opinion. I suspect it would be stunning at Christmas. Baser Vole is so good you don’t want to write a gushing review about it, but oh well, I can’t help it.

lily is one of my least favorite white florals because i think its poorly interpreted most cases . baiser volé is a small exception, its a beautiful soliflore but im really compelled to layer it with something . the greeness isnt overdone at any stage, and its never reaches indolic (maybe slightly the first few minutes during the “pistil” stage) . i find it charming and uplifting and not very powdery, to me at least . while im a fan of Volé, im more interested in trying a flanker or sticking with anais-anais than getting a full bottle . not exactly in a rush to finish my samples but im enjoying the bubble around me . im getting a sunscreen note at the late drydown as well, a nice touch

Delicate, powerful floral (can be a lil overwhelming) and feminine. It can smell a lil powdery. It's elegant, all ages, but shines in mature women 30+

Smells soft, clean, and quietly radiant. Feels like crisp white sheets and a serene morning alone.

A truly lovely, elegant Lily perfume. I prefer to layer it with YSL Flowers & Flames...It is sooo good. Also, I have layered it with Britney's Prerogative Rave...yes really it is very nice.
