Cristalle Eau Verte

I love all the versions of Cristalle. Edp and edt smell similar but maybe edt a bit more luminous. This way verte smells completely different than Cristalle edp or edt. Most Chanel’s fragrances smell different between edt edp parfum. This smells so fresh like a fizzy sprite lime lemon drink. Very effervescent. Perfect for humid hot weather. I can’t stop smelling my arms. It’s a little pricy but chanel is amazing. I do miss the complexity of the regular Cristalle. But I have the edp in Cristalle so I wanted a different fragrance. I recommend if u like fresh fizzy fragrances. Can be a little one dimensional but I still can’t stop smelling it. Very unisex. Anyone can wear it

An extremely overpriced spray that smells of nothing! No fragrance that I can detect at all. Purchased from The Fragrance Shop - so the genuine article. Total waste of money.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I tend to like florals but I wanted something more citrus and green. The other citrus fragrances I've tried have been too sweet or too generic. I love that this is so crisp and classic smelling!

Very citrusy, green and slightly sweet. It reminds me of iced tea made with orange peel, both bitter and sweet, with a hint of cinnamon. To me, it feels very close to Maison Margiela’s Never-Ending Summer. That surprised me. I was expecting something much greener, more tart, not this orange-tinged tea feel. Do I like it? Yes.

I didn't pay full price for this, I'd be disappointed if I did. The scent is unisex to me, it's not typically masculine but not feminine either. The scent is nice, very lemony and fresh. The reason is being disappointed if I paid Chanel prices for it is the performance. At first application it's moderate strength at best, and then fades to skin like scent within an hour on me. Good for a 'your own scent bubble' scent but for the price I'd of hoped for something that lasts a bit longer.

This is a pretty, zesty citrus fragrance. No rough edges and very pleasant. And I appreciate that it’s not sweet. For me, for example, Light Blue, comes off somewhat cloying. Cristalle stays refreshing. The lemon is very nice.

As if Chanel No. 19 and Chance Eau Fraîche had a child. Very bright, very sparkly, almost violently citrus-forward. Whatever tea-like subtlety I hoped for is nowhere to be found, this is Eau Fraîche pushed into full lemon saturation. It’s unisex, yes, but overwhelmingly lemon-y, and the lemon doesn’t fade. It clings, settles, and eventually turns a bit sour. Longevity is good if you enjoy smelling like concentrated citrus cleaner; less so if you were hoping for nuance. I like and own No. 19, yet I can’t imagine needing this variation. It feels like a side project I don't need. On the right skin it might be radiant, on most probably just an over-sparkled lemon blast.

Ultimately better than the original — nicer and more modern. Lemons, citruses, and maybe something metallic and also sweeter. Nice, and worth considering for warm weather.

This smells like an angel going down from the sky or walking in a garden. This smells so fresh, so subtle. It smells elegant. Not overpowering. It is just heavenly. But, do not overspray, it will smell too citrusy. You might think that it smells weak but once you start to sweat. You’ll smell heavenly. It is definitely a summer fragrance. The dry down smells like coco mademoiselle

So happy and elegant. Discontinued in South America.

I have this because I was gifted it from my partner's mum, who doesn't really do perfume. I am not the best fan of Chanel perfumes. My mum favours No 19, which I really don't like, and I don't like No5 or the original Cristalle either But Cristalle Eau Verte is really my thing, it is fresh, with subtle florals, and I get some lovely aquatics on my skin. It is a truly lovely spring and summer fragrance to me

Sweet effervescent lemony citrus, my go-to "happy" summer scent. Fresh and not overpowering. I save this for the warmest sunny days, as it's so refreshing. This is one to get you in a good mood.

Mines old. You just can't imagine the beauty of this fragrance. It's Italian and French in a way I can't explain; glorious green freshness with a touch of lemony magnolia, which keeps it from being acerbic. It's a feeling fragrance and an olfactory one for me.

A lighter, fruitier, flirtier version of the Eau de Cologne by Chanel. Delicious, limey and zingy. Doesn't last very well but that doesn't bother me as much as I'd wear it in summer anyways when you're dipping in and out of the pool all day. Makes me want to be on a balcony in Italy surrounded by lemon trees overlooking a beautiful green vista.

I got it in the 2010s and it has been my summer signature scent. The citrusy and white floral scents blend very well together and create a happy, crisp and youthful profile. The white floral is not nauseating and hides behind the citrusy scent. It is feminine but neither girly nor sweet. It lasts all day on my skin and several days on my clothes. The sillage is quite impressive so I only do 1-2 sprays. Longevity is longer than a day. It doesn't resemble any Chanel fragrance I experienced before, including the original Cristalle, which is much smokier and better for cold weather. I was bummed that Chanel discontinued it for a while and stopped using it daily. Now that it has come back, I'm finishing up my first bottle and am excited to get the new edition.

I was really surprised by this- I expected a kind of generic "throw-away" citrus blah that could be easily replaced by something cheaper... As someone who owns at least 4 or 5 (mostly vintage) Chanel extraits and two EDTs, I should have known Jacques Polges wouldn't disappoint... This is FANTASTIC, honestly... Perfectly unisex and just gorgeous... Longevity is poor but what can you expect from glittering lemons and something that smells of Alpine mountain air? It's not MEANT to linger... It can't.. just re-apply...! I haven't tried the edp... Is it REALLY the same? (I REALLY hope so!!) 9/10... Try this!

Very good scent! So simple, crisp and modestly green, every way beautiful, even heavenly. If there really is magnolia here then this by far the best expression of it that I have experienced so far (the other two I have tried in the past are also good but much stronger and more specific, more distinguishable). Edit over a month later: still having used my tester makes me feel that despite the thigh price, I have to get a bigger amount of this somehow, it is just too much perfect and enjoyable! It has slowly moved to the category "6 points out of 5" in my book... Edit2 on 5.5.25: Got it at last for a very good price. This scent is just unbelievable... The highest form of (magnolia) freshness. I already bought Pour Monsieur in between as a replacement because they are similar. Pour Monsieur is certainly woodier and slightly sweeter too. Cristalle Eau Verte is unisex. The Bvlgari's Mon Jasmin Noir L'Eau Exquise is mentioned as similar -- well, I have that incredible scent as well and yes, they are similar, Bvlgari's one is a lot sweeter. These two and Pour Monsieur seem to grasp a certain spring freshness in a perfect way. These three are light green by the smell -- exactly as the colour suggests. Edit3 on 12.07.25: After having used it a lot during my vacation it turned out that it doesn't last much on clothes where I mostly use my perfumes. I had to reapply this 3-4 times a day.

Expensive for what it is. Get a citrus summer scent from Hermes Jardin line instead or DKNY Be Delicious green bottle or from Loccitaine Verbena line

This fresh, understated, agreeable delight was my daily go to when working a high pressure dream job I never thought I could achieve despite years of striving and proving. My secret citrus weapon, helping me through. Light and flawless, one of the only citruses that never leans towards a bathroom cleaner or insect repellant.

I sprayed Cristalle Eau Verte on my wrists this morning and immediately thought of those paper straws that are filled with lemon powdery sugar candy. It is the beginning of February. The days are getting longer and I am anticipating spring. I wanted to wear something with magnolia in it because I had been searching out new magnolia fragrances. Then I remembered Cristalle Eau Verte. It is so beautiful! I'm not looking for another magnolia fragrance now. I last wore my Cristalle Eau Verte in July of 2023. I was still a bit on the fence about it. No straddling the fence now. I love this fragrance. My bottle was purchased before the 2023 version. I'm not sure if they are the same. I really want a back up of this fragrance. Chanel has raised their prices though. Now I'm on the fence about the new price. I will let you know what I decide.

Chanel's Cristalle Eau Verte is a citrusy fragrance, but it is not overwhelmingly so. I can smell the fruity and juicy accords from the lemon and bergamot in the opening of this fragrance, but it doesn't smack me in the face like Fairy soap liquid. It smells more fresh, if anything, despite this fragrance having citrusy nuances throughout its whole wear. The neroli and magnolia heart is a nice way of continuing the citrusy theme in Cristalle Eau Verte, whilst toning it down even more and bringing in some sweet and feminine floral and white floral accords. This is probably my favorite stage of this fragrance and I wish that it lasted longer. In the base I can smell some of the jasmine, but I can smell the iris much more and I can't smell any of the musk in the base notes. From the start till the finish, I can smell a prevailing greenness and fresh spicy quality that makes my throat irritated and scratchy if I smell my arm too closely and this is probably my last favorite thing about Chanel's Cristalle Eau Verte fragrance. I got an average wear of 4 hours on me and it gave me a somewhat intimate scent bubble that didn't really leave a trail on my skin. I could imagine this being a good scent you could wear during the day for both spring or summer and that either a man or a woman could wear it. It smells almost sort of shampooey to me. I thought that this perfume was above average but far from perfect and not something that I would wear personally and so I'd give this fragrance a 6.8/10.

Sparkling and deliciously cooling. Exactly what’s needed to freshen up after a long flight. Perfectly Chanel.

The spray of freshly squeezed lemons & bergamot mixed with the petals of neroli-forward white florals that become a touch powdery. Very fresh, sparkling, and invigorating, perks you right up. Best suited in warm/hot weather, lasts on average 5 hrs, definitely needs to be reapplied for a long day.

I’ve had one complaint about this fragrance. It came from our rescue cat, Felix. Cats don’t like citrus smells and he wouldn’t come near me when I had CEV on. He came around though. I think the magnolia won him over. It might have been because he was missing making biscuits on my lap, too. My bottle of CEV’s nearly empty and I’m a bit devastated. I’ll definitely be saving the pennies to replace it. It’s the magnolia for me. I love it in fragrances and I love it in real life.

One of the best and brightest citrus fragrances out there. Easily my perfume of choice on a hot summer's day!

This is at the top of my favorites for many years. It is so refreshing and beautiful! I just read all the comments saying it was being discontinued, although I checked and Chanel still offers it on their website. It’s the original Cristalle that has been discontinued. I have the original also and find it a bit too smoky and mossy for me.

I bought this a number of years ago now and have kept it in the box stored away in my wardrobe. Sprayed it today to remind myself of the scent and It is absolutely gorgeous and classy. It is a green citrus scent that sweetens on the skin. So refreshing! I have fallen in love with green citrus scents again but this one is on the top of my list. What a shame its been discontinued!
