Bal d’afrique, Brunello cuccinelli pour femme and Cedrus - all related with that same warm, clean note (vetiver?), but with slight variations. This sits right in the middle of all three, BCPF being more feminine leaning and BDA more masculine. All three have my 🩷. Cannot get enough of these Italian-esque clean scents.

Chloé Cedrus is every bit as beautiful as I thought it would be. It is quite strong when first sprayed and takes a good 10 to 15 minutes to settle, but once it does, it is absolutely stunning. The cedar, vetiver, moss, cardamom, and sandalwood blend together beautifully, creating a warm, smooth, slightly earthy woody scent. The sandalwood adds a soft creaminess, while the cardamom gives it just enough warmth. She is powerful, so you definitely do not need to overspray, but she creates the most incredible aura around you. This is another example of Quentin Bisch magic.

I’m so impressed with this fragrance considering this brand has never caught my attention. It’s very much unisex. It’s woody, elegant, clean, wearable and inoffensive. It’s simple but uplifting. Definitely buying a decant.

I love this fragrance. The notes do not accurately capture what it smells like. This is a citrus/musky/soapy scent with some “clean” woody notes. It somehow gets stronger after a few hours and is more powerful in the air than when smelling skin directly. This lasts easily 12 hours on skin and projects well. It’s so clean, inoffensive and versatile. Very similar to Armani Vetiver D’Hiver, but this is its more synthetic/molecular and potent sibling. I disagree with comparisons to Sous Les Pins. I somewhat agree with comparisons to avoid Inperials, but this is much more delicate and unisex/slight feminine leaning.

This smells like you’re on a hike in an evergreen forest after you’ve covered yourself in Off bug repellant spray. And I don’t mean that in a bad way. It evokes special memories of being in nature while enveloped in an Off bubble. I would wear this while outside but it’s too much for indoor wear for me.

I bought an original 4 ml sample from Chloé and it's very woodsy, elegant and beautiful. It's fresh, light and bright. Truly unisex, I love it on myself but think I would love it on a man more. It's a skin scent after about an hour or two. I was worried it would have that note that smells like urine to me (ambroxan I think) but gladly, I don't smell it in this one.

First got my hands on Cedrus late-October of 2021.. and I have loved it ever since. Mellow, woody, fresh.. this is an ageless and timeless scent. Effortlessly beautiful. It presents a picture, at least to my mind, of a finely dressed woman whom will absolutely throw her heels deep into a forest whilst digging her toes into the dirt. It is like taking a deep breath of slightly musky and slightly salty seaside-mountain air. A bit of a 'spa'-like scent but in the sense of being pampered in an outdoor apothecary enclosed by Banyan trees. It makes me feel like an explorer, a nomad, a wanderer. A bit translucent at times.. my suspicion is that if the scent was too dense then it would read as slightly 'barbershop'. Instead what we are left with is something that dips its toes into rather 'less-fem'/'more-masc' waters without ever getting ahead of itself. This airy-quality is very enjoyable to my nose--some may find this to be a bit overly-reserved and I get that but, for myself, I find this to be a major part of its appeal. Lasts about 7-8 hours on skin and with a more intimate projection as it dries. Can still detect it around the 10-hour mark but lasts a whole lot longer on clothes + linens. Can be cooler-weather coded but I find myself reaching for it at any time of the year although more so during the day than at night.. although I can see how it can work quite beautifully as the sun dips under the horizon. Layering it with something more floral could really amplify her potential nighttime vibe. Love, love, love..!

I recently added Cedrus to my collection. I love the woody, citrussy and fresh brightness. However, I'm pretty sure I have selective anosmia and I struggle to smell the fragrance on myself after an hour or two. I thought there were less synthetic molecules in this one than in other Quentin Bisch creations. But apparently, there is still too much Georgywood in there, Ambrofix, and Akigalawood for my nose. These cause olfactory fatigue for me, so I'm going to have to try a trick I read about: first of all, not wearing Cedrus every day. Second, not spraying it on my chest and neck, but rather on my wrists, and the hems of my garments. We'll see how it goes! It's too bad because I really love the opening. Just thought I'd flag this here for anyone who might have the same problem as me.

This is one of my favs for summer. It’s clean, woody and a bit (fresh) spicy. It lasts 10+ hours on me with moderate projection. I’ll always love and reach for this.

It definitely grew on me. It’s very simple but not basic. Gives me spa vibes. I layered it with a moisturizer from rituals’ mehr line and citrus made it even better.

Beautiful scent, unfortunately fades quickly on me but lasts longer on clothing. Initial spray could be likened to meyers-esque natural/fresh cleaning spray but in a good way.

very sparkly and soapy as others have said. reminds me of a very expensive soap you’d find in a luxury hotel. it’s good but more feminine and classy than i feel suits my personality. smells like a high-earning woman in her late 40s who has her life together. actually would prefer it to smell more actual wood than aldehyde, but that’s just me. not sure why anyone would say it’s masculine like in the reviews below, it smells like an older woman’s skincare products lol.

This is pretty and fresh … but the longevity … lacking . I wish this projected more and lasted longer . Basic but beautiful 🤩

عطر چوبی جنگلی حساب می‌شه و بنظرم اونقدر مناسب هوای گرم ایران نیست، اگه به عنوان عطر تابستونه بهش نگاه می‌کنید. پرفورمنس فوق‌العاده ضعیفی داره جوری که بعد از نیم ساعت دیگه حسش نمی‌کنید. در کل نه.

Pleasant scent, along the lines of Perseus and Valaya (is it aldehydes?), but with poor performance. Slightly greener than the above mentioned. I don’t smell cedar.

Nomade is almost better

I bought a discounted decant of this secondhand because of the hype around it on social media, but more to satisfy my curiosity than because I really expected to like it. I was absolutely shocked by how beautiful it is. To my nose this has an almost sparkling feeling to it, like the clean green cardamom and citrus are a little fizzy together on top of the cozier woods. But that element also stays throughout - on my skin this smells almost exactly the same hours into wear as it does seconds after spraying. And it is STRONG for something so fresh. Granted, I lean towards freshies so my standards are almost certainly very different from most people's. But if I put this on before work in the morning I can still smell it on myself even after I get home about 10 hours later. And it lasts for days on a sweater. I finally just bought myself a secondhand mini bottle and can easily see wearing this through all four seasons.

A slightly generic but vey nicely balanced fragrance. The gentle cardamom and sandalwood is what's elevating this to a "classy" status. But there's not a whole lot else going on here. There's a slight citrus quality that also keeps it from feeling too woodsy, and there's a creamy sweetness that I personally don't really like and it almost had me checking if there was vanilla or something in the notes because I was shocked. Everyone's describing it as "fresh" and "airy" and lacking sweetness but I overwhelmingly disagree. Overall, I like it, but I had imagined something totally different. I think I just landed on a scent profile too different from what I usually enjoy. Creamy, spiced, soft, woodsy. I'd consider it a safe blind buy because even though I'm not a fan of creamy scents, I still enjoy this one and know I'll be wearing it. It's the kind of fragrance I just know will get compliments regardless of my nitpicky-ness.

This is such an airy, forest fairy scent. This is like a watercolor scent reminiscent of how a luxury spa would smell like. It's light, airy and ethereal. Stunning and layers well with so many other scents. Lasts decently on me but this is a soft to moderate scent. It smells like the bottle looks. Classy, clean and refreshing. I upgraded my 50ml to the gigantic 150ml. Perfect signature scent for those that are looking for one. I love it.

Does it smell like nomade? I want to know if its redundant to add this to my collection while I have chloe nomade edt

Such a clean scent. I tend to go for more woody ones, but I actually don't mind this one on my skin at all. My summer go to perfume for sure

This smells like the clean skin of a beautiful and classy woman into aesthetic living. Sillage and longevity are poor. Wish it lasted longer.

All year round kinda perfume, it’s fresh, its woody, its not dull. Something makes it special extra special, must have in your collection if you’re into fresh, suitable all year-round.

This one puzzles me. Where's the scent? I smelled something fresh and pleasant (same vibe as Bal'd Afrique) for about 10 minutes, and then it was gone. Oddly, the receptionist at my chiropractor's office complimented me on my perfume a few hours later, but I could barely detect it even putting my nose up to my arm to smell it. Maybe it's a me thing because I've seen several YouTubers rave about this one. Definitely test before buying.
