Every time I wore this my aunt would comment on it so I gave her my bottle. It used to be such a bargain to buy and now it's impossible to find! 😭 Love it so much. Glad I still have a couple of bottles. 🩷 It's rich. Like vintage Amarige.

I think I was wearing this when I lost my virginity. I just scored a full 50 ml bottle and one whiff took me back… Summertime, my boyfriend’s long hair. He was such an Leo and treated me like the queen I am. My sweet youth is resurrected!

Hello fragrance family! Chloe Narcisse is a beautiful, discontinued, apricot-forward floral oriental scent. USA: Sample it at Vintage Decants :)

All the 90s girls know, this is the real stuff. Sweet, floral, femme with zero apologies if it's loud and rude to you. That's how we do it, whether you're 17 or 70. From a different universe where there's no "aesthetics", Docs are made in England and Levis are made in the USA but somehow you just do it your own way. You wear this day or night, summer or winter, anywhere you want. It's still there after you leave. Now I wear this to rock shows and the few remaining places where life still feels like it's not tedious work, where it's a real thing that people do with one another. No wonder the kids who don't even remember the 90s want that era back. The last time people actually remembered they were alive.

TWO WORDS : Nemat Narcissus . $16.00 at Whole Foods or Wild By Nature in the USA. Thank me later and not all at once .

Absolutely love this perfume. So gutted when it was discontinued but managed to secure a bottle and also found a really good dupe too

Ooh, this is something special. The peach and apricot with the leafy bitterness of narcissus and marigold and spicy carnation is much nicer to me than a Grojsman peach + rose and freesia accord, and the pineapple makes it seem almost modern - this is a lot more wearable from a "normie" point of view than many fragrances of this era. It would be too sweet for summer generally but I think I may pull this out for rainy/cool summer days.

Анонім

There is an undeniable sharpness to Narcisse that can, perhaps, be explained by the pineapple. It's probably best described as a "spicy, fruity floral," as many of the listed notes never seem to fully appear, and, like a true early 90's perfume, Narcisse is the sum of its parts. Narcisse is incredibly strong, one spray will last all day (and I'm speaking as someone who loves a howler perfume), and it's sweet and sharp. I've honestly never found anything else like it. Silage and longevity are incredible, and the original version lasts for over 24 hours. The smell on my wrist the next day is really quite lovely. There's a warmth that develops over time; however, it takes time to get to this point, and I fully understand why so many people wash it off (good luck with that because this baby isn't going anywhere fast) Try to get one from the Parfums International phase, if you can. The Coty version isn't bad, but it's also not as good as the original and includes the chemical/synthetic notes that have been mentioned frequently. Also, it's not as long-lasting and "full" as the original version.

I used to love this in the 90's, it was so beautiful. It was my signature scent for a while.

To my nose I got a strong, screechy, pungent, cloying peach scent. Once the peach arrived, it did not leave until the following day. Chloe Narcisse was never a favorite of mine to begin with. But I like to retry things as our senses change with age. I tried this back in 2015 when I was just getting into fragrances, and I was not keen on it. I retried it December 6, 2025, and alas it is still the same fragrance I remember. It smells divine on most people but not on me. It is a shame that the beautiful classics such as this one are being discontinued left and right. Let's not take away these beautiful creations as there are people around the globe who enjoy them.

I bought a bunch of mystery discontinued perfumes from thrift store. One bottle was 90% empty and had this perfume in it. Definitely vintage vibes and yet there is something addictive about it. Powdery, spicy, floral. This is sophisticated woman scent to me she is not trying to lure men in she is wearing it for herself.

Анонім

Very strong floral. There’s an undercurrent of sourness that throws me off. Without that sourness and perhaps spices, I would like this.

Along with Poeme, Ysatis, Fifth Avenue and Sunflowers, Narcisse was one of the best and my most worn perfumes of the 90s. These were amongst my first perfume purchases when I started work in my early 20's and I could finally afford to buy "grown up perfume" in Boots or Superdrug. A beautiful symphony of apricot, jammy florals and I get a greeness that turns what is essentially a bouquet of synthetic flowers into something quite magnificent. Narcisse-along with all my 90s loves, I will really miss you.

The EDP version was my signature scent throughout the 90's an into the early 2000's until it was discontinued. This is a heady chypre floral fragrance, strong and long lasting like others from it's era. If you are looking for a very good dupe of the 90's EDP, the thefragranceshop . com makes an excellent oil/parfum version they call Narcisse Type for Women that is nearly indistinguishable from the original. I found it a few years ago and it opens/drys down exactly like the original every time!

In the UK, Perfume Parlour do an amazing dupe for Narcisse. It smells identical to me , and they call it Gorgeous 0143. As you can no longer buy Narcisse, it’s fantastic!

My love for life, together with Very Valentino edt and edp. I use it since I smelled it on my friend who sprayed it in her neck. 1993 I think it was. I wanted to walk behind her forever. It smells different on different parts of my body. And the best moment is when I shower, as then I get this voluptuous, sweet, full bodied blast of warmth around me due to Narcisse. Delicious. I spray it on 20 minutes before I leave the door, otherwise I fumigate people. But in the morning when I think: ‘is today a Narcisse day…?’ I smell the nozzle, sigh, and if it is, I am in heaven for the rest of the day. Also, a compliment getter, from women mostly. It gets better during the day, it softens. But for the prices it sells now, I would not purchase it. I am using the reformulated one at the moment, the darker brown one. It is different, but still a good rendition. But honestly, spray lightly and with 10 inch away from the area you spray.

bought a mini version of this on a whim admittedly because the bottle is super pretty. turns out this is not my taste at all! if you like warm, floral and LOUD perfumes, this is for you. for me, this smells like a chic old lady which is not my vibe as i prefer fresh and clean fragrances. i can see my late grandma wearing this

Анонім

They're selling the reformulated cheap versions for over $200...

Thick, ultra sweet and strong vanilla number with a weird menthol icy haze over it. I cannot really smell any flower or fruit. The name is rather misleading.

I love this perfume, it really sucks that it has been discontinued and if your lucky to find one online it's majorly expensive.... used to be $40 and under at chemist warehouse now you would be lucky to find it less than $300 online! Anyway this brings back so many memories, hands down my favourite scent of all time. 10/10!

I adore this fragrance. I knew someone who wore this in the 90s and I promised myself that when I grew up, I would wear it too. Sadly by the time I was old enough, it was discontinued. Having studied perfume and it's history a bit, I can say that they don't make them like this anymore. Narcisse has lived in my olfactory memory for years and I never forgot it due to its beauty and sheer strength. I was extremely happy when I found an excellent clone (Perfume Parlour UK) that smells identical and performs like an absolute beast. This is a stunning floral bomb with gorgeous honeyed fruits. It's luscious, syrupy and literally dripping in wanton suggestion. It's the smell of creamy white florals after a tropical downpour that leaves the air humid, heady and intoxicating. Definitely not for the weak.

In addition to the EdT I have the PARFUM version in a very small bottle. Wearing it now, and if you think the EdT is powerful the parfum is nuclear! Smells great, even better than the EdT. Stay away if you don’t like loud perfumes!

This was my mother's fragrance. There is something maternal, cocooning and comforting about this scent to begin with. It's warm, floral, and feels like sunshine in the afternoon. This scent was so perfect for my Mom, her skin and chemistry really worked with this one and it will always be a comforting scent for me. Too bad perfume pirates have decided to rob us for a fragrance that has been discontinued. The people who bought this fragrance were not rich people who were going to spend $500 on a bottle of perfume so instead of letting people enjoy the last bottles of it, they're going to hoard them till they expire and be stuck with old, expired perfume that nobody wants and THEN they'll sell it to you for an appropriate amount. I get trying to ration the product and raising the prices but it's absolutely insane to jack it up 600%.

@candy613 European Perfumes has a dupe, I bought it for my mom and she said it was spot on!

I've been wearing narcisse since 1992. It definitely has different smells on different people but worked great for me. Still searching for a new scent as this has been my primary fragrance for over 30y 😭

My Winter Perfume, That I Keep Secret From Everyone; I Don't Even Remember How Many Times I Finished The Original; They Should Have Named It Addiction; A Complete Winter Perfume; Although I Have Difficulty Reaching It Now, I Can Still Access It Thanks To Its Equivalent Producers. Most People May Not Like This Perfume; It's Vintage and A Perfume Needs A Little Bit Age; However, After The Scent Settles, It Creates A Serious Spread Of Floral Fragrance Around You; In This Respect, It Leaves Behind Chopard's Casmir Perfume, Which I Love Very Much. It Would Not Surprise Anyone That Most Sugary Perfumes Have a Very High Diffusion And Persistence; but, This Perfume Captures the Surroundings And the Environment You Enter With A Dominant Floral Scent; İ Never Had Effective Diffusion And Persistence İn A Floral Perfume, Like This.

A rare gem, a true masterpiece. Like no other. The edp is in fact ab extrait. Extremely expensive nowadays but it makes sense. Stunning creation.

I have a .12 mini of this fragrance. Oh does this bring back the memories of my childhood. My childhood friend mother wore this on occasion and my mother herself wore big fragrance like Poison and Red Door. The 90’s fragrance were definitely big and beautiful. But this is so loud in a good way. Just a few dabs from the mini and the entire room lights up in a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

I was given a bottle of this as a wedding gift from my sister, I wore it on my honeymoon. I’m a very sentimental person so I absolutely love it. I still have over half a bottle and as it’s now discontinued and very expensive to buy on eBay, I ration it. It’s definitely a strong and vintage fragrance and not for everyone, but for some reason I’ve always had a fondness for those types of fragrances. I’m pretty sentimental and nostalgic person, so that’s probably why. We used to find it at Walmart for under $20. Hard to believe that now!
