Carmina

this perfume and i share a name… so i was super pleased to smell a beautiful powdery rose scent when i sprayed it on myself for the first time 🤍 my favorite kind of scent profile behind gourmands !!

The main reason why I started collecting fragrances obviously it’s very feminine and pretty. Instant comfort for me and one of my favorite floral fragrance. I would wear it only for special occasions when I wanted to seem innocent

I kinda think I am a dumbass for buying the full bottle of this I am even a bigger dumbass for actually opening the package, because the worker actually gave me a 1,5ml of a tester, said I can try it, then if I do not like it, I can return the bottle and purchase another perfume meanwhile adding an endless amount of testers from other brands too then my mom gaslighted me into opening the package, because I think she liked the perfume and she will use it more than I do I do think the silage and longevity is good, I think this is a quality rose smell I am just not a huge rose lover and it smells like a pure, proper rose water all over me in the opening. The dry down is actually good and this is why I bought it honestly, but I feel like its extremely, extremely overpriced because of the opening... I do not think this is terrible, but just missing the oomph. This is your moms family friends older daughter at a fancy family function whom will sneak you some wine, will play her part to look cool, will not snitch on you for smoking meanwhile you 2 are chatting in a penthouse that neither of you had no business being in it and you, a Delina girl, feel happy that she got along with you yet neither of you are the main event to paraphrase from this generations most talented philoshopher, Jujubee Carmina is unique (among other perfumes from Creed), I-I can see that. Nerve? She had the nerve to have that price tag, I give that to her. Charisma? I don't see any. She's just U.N.T.

I was so excited to try this one because the notes are right up my alley, but I ended up so disappointed because it's not at all what I was expecting. On my skin, I get a bit of saffron in the opening, and then it develops into a very juvenile scent that reminds me a lot of my kids fruity shampoo that we have. It's not a groundbreaking or unique scent, which I was partially expecting given the brand and above all the pricepoint. Longevity is also quite questionable, it barely gets 4 hours on my skin, but I assume the heat also has a part to play in this, so I'm not gonna judge it just yet. But the overall scent is just... not it. I will definitely try it out a couple of more times in different settings/occassions/weather for a final verdict.

I smell a lot more tart, almost sour black cherry rather than rose, but I LOVE it. I was worried it would be too much amber or saffron/frankinsense/myrhh, but I don’t detect much at all! As it dries down the bright and tart cherry settles into my skin beautifully. I really enjoy this!

It's incredibly difficult to combine mystery and beauty, but this fragrance resonates with your most ardent feelings, satisfying them while simultaneously offering warmth and tenderness. It begins with a strong, commanding presence, then softens, bestowing upon you a sense of purity and serenity. What's truly remarkable is its understated elegance. Its success stems from the skillful and thoughtful use of ingredients. I rarely find a fragrance with a cherry note that appeals to me, but this one, combined with the other components, creates a unique and beautiful character. I highly recommend it; it's flawless. 10/10

Imagine you're in the setting of "Midsommar" (but not creepy, just beautiful), and you're taking a bath outside in the sunshine and the bath is filled with colorful flowers (like the crown Florence wears at the end). This is how you'd smell after getting out of that bath― fresh, clean, floral. It's definitely an elevated floral and is absolutely lovely, but not for me.

Probably the only rose i like after Parfum De Marly Delina Exclusif ( she's even better ). Carmina is delicious , crisp, sunny ,and fresh. Very feminine but still with a proper back bone. Complex to be listed as one of the best 3 rose fragrances ever made. I still die for the other one at my top 1 spot, PDF, Delina Exclusif is candied rose petals.

I left a review a little bit ago and I feel it does not quite show what a true treasure this perfume is. Sometimes I will just go in my closet and smell it just to make myself feel a little better. If I were to describe it the best way I could is if romance was a perfume. If you ever feel yourself getting lonely and you don't have a partner and want one or you are missing someone you love very much just take a whiff and you'll probably feel way better ( or find yourself a new relationship) and like a comment said a little lower trust me you should wear this on your next date!!!

Oh, yes, I see why this is hated and also loved. I get the cherry cough syrup with dry sharp saffron and jammy rose with an orange peal zing. The florals soften the sweet cloy a bit, but there’s also screamwood in here. Overall a no for me. Super sweet cloying with sharp chemical alcohol wood. Foody and fake at the same time and so over sweet and nasty. Really bad on me. That being said, if the wearer gets more of the fruit and sweet notes without the chemical offset, it could be nice for a sweet foody lover. But that's not me.

I got this as a sample from Saks on Fifth. Then without even trying it I ordered it because of a video that said it was a top rose perfume. HOWEVER, when I actually sprayed the sample in the opening I get Guerlain Rose Cherie. Rose, powdery notes at first and when it settles- very quickly I smell the cherry, musk, frankincense. It disappeared within an hour on me though. I would say it’s best for the fall. I think it’s “ok”. It’s not a wow fragrance for me. Since I already ordered the 1 oz perfume, I will be giving this a pass and selling it because there are other perfumes in my collection that are rose powdery which I find more interesting.

I'm trying all the perfumes now. I want to know about perfume craftsmanship and what notes are what. I want to know what my nose likes. I can tell you, it's not Creed Carmina. I get a plastic note until drydown that I can't get past. I don't know what it is, but I smell it, and associate it with plastic. Then, the drydown is so heavily wood, it makes me nauseous. I get those reactions from the original and from the dupes, so it must be something present in the notes from all of them. I don't get rose, or cherry...just plastic like a new, unwashed, closed up storage tub. I'm clueless what it could be. Needless to say, I won't be buying a bottle of this.

6/10 nothing special. Reminds me of 540 Baccarat extrait ,but watered down, Wearable ,nice but not ground breaking

really well put together, more of a night fragrance for me. A bit unisex which isnt bad, very pleasing.

This is quite unisex in my opinion and criminally underrated. Also has very good performance on me. My favorite cherry fragrance on the market; I find most others to be either extremely boring and/or way too cloyingly sweet. The only thing that I dislike about it is the size of the bottle as all my other Creed fragrances are 100ml...

Wear this on your date, trust me.

over- powdery spring flowers

As a man this is simply incredible. Don’t see it hyped enough. It may be super feminine but the cherry and rose is so good. Top 3 creed for me.

Carmina is a sexy, nocturnal, enticing fragrance: She is the woman found in a velvet lined corner at midnight, draped in dark silk and radiating an assured, dangerous confidence that makes the whole room gravitate towards her alone. The opening reminds me of cherry liquor; while it doesn't have that cheap alcohol scent, it carries the same depth. The top is slightly syrupy, but not in a negative way, it is very rich and sultry. I get whiffs of saffron: honeyed and warm, as well as pink pepper: very subtle but cuts through the cherry, making it feel less heavy. The heart is reminiscent of bathing in rose water under candlelight: also, the smell of sugared rose petals, maybe even a rose jam? You still get a tinge of black cherry, but it's much lighter, melding with the rose perfectly. The cashmere woods add depth, preventing it from becoming too cloy. The dry down is incredible and very luxurious: a light incense-like quality paired with a lovely, solar amber. Overall, this is a moody fragrance that is incredibly long lasting and perfect for a night-time formal event!!!! I wore it to a live production of "The Phantom of the Opera" and I swear it was perfect for the theme and atmosphere!

Creed Carmina is a gorgeous black‑cherry and saffron fragrance. It opens with a deep, dark cherry wrapped in warm saffron and rose, creating an instantly captivating scent. As it settles, it softens into a beautiful floral rose boozy musk that is truly seductive. It's an unmistakable Creed fragrance standout. Perfect for evening wear.

I swear my teen son's olfactory sense is broken. He couldn't discern between vanilla and citrus if it hit him in the face, and has no interest in cologne. But two hours after I applied Carmina, he walked into my office, sniffed, and said, why does it smell like roses and cherries in here? That's the kind of projection this perfume has. She's an in-your-face, sexy, boozy fragrance with strong longevity and sillage. Very cherry and rose forward, Carmina melds into something balsamic, honeyed, and creamy. I get saffron in the opening and airy pink pepper a few minutes later, which cuts down on the sweetness, but I would still describe this scent as syrupy and resinous. Carmina is a voluptuous princess dressed in a red velvet gown, strolling through a rose garden at midnight to meet her lover.

This is NOT what I was looking for in Cherry perfume, but my goodness! This smells pretty amazing to me. On first spray (I did 2 tiny sprays from a 1ml sample), I was taken by surprise by what I sensed as a Carnation scent, one of my favorite flower fragrances. When I came to check the scent notes, I got another surprise...this has Myrhh & Frankincense, 2 notes I dislike very much in most perfumes. I'm not anywhere near the drydown, so perhaps it will come through eventually. For me, I'm getting a nice blend of mostly florals (maybe a little cherry?) with light saffron, pepper & musk so far. I sprayed and walked away about 25-30 ft to do something else and could smell the fragrance coming from the direction of where I sprayed; beautiful trail! I tend to like Ambroxin, but it's not as apparent to me yet 30min in, and the light Cashmere Wood is more Cashmere than Wood to my nose. I don't really care for floral fragrances, but this would be a Floral I would definitely purchace. Will update after a few hours of wear. 3 hours in, it's fading a bit and the scent has not changed much, just slight musk noticeable now (thankfully I didn't detect the Myrhh & Frankincense). It's been pretty linear for me. If I purchase any Floral scents, this is at the top of my list so far. I have, and really like LPRN by Guerlain, but I don't consider that a real Floral or Cherry scent (idk how to catagorize it actually), so Carmina may be a 1st. 12 hours in: The faded scent is still lingering. I could not stop smelling my wrist all day and kept getting a whiff every time I moved my arms etc. I will sample again another day, then decide on full bottle purchase. 2nd trial, sprayed more than before and it is Potent! As I said, I'm not really a Floral scent person but this stills smells very different than most I've tried. I still get a Carnation scent, overall, more than anything (maybe that's the "Jammy" Rose, Peony etc?) but I still like it. Not really noticing the Cherry, which is what I'm more interested in though. This time, the next day (now), I am loving the Musky dry down a lot more than the heavy Floral the 1st day of wearing. It's still pretty potent! Alas, now that I've discovered and purchased Sirène by FDB, (which I replaced as my signature scent), You by Glossier & another 10mL decant of TF Lost cherry, I will wait on Carmina. I have full size Molecule 01 & Cherry Punk on way also. Besides, after using the 10mL Lost Cherry again after having finished a small bottle long ago, I'm going to break down, pay the $$ & buy another bottle lol. Wearing it again just reinforced WHY I loved it so much and picked it as my OG signature scent. 😍 🍒

OMG this is exactly why you don’t listen to the bad reviews. This smells amazing oh my God I’m so glad I got this. It smells like a rose dipped in honey…..I don’t think there’s any honey in it but my God it is sweet. It’s decadent. It’s a must have. I have a really good taste. Don’t listen to the haters on here.

I have wanted this perfume forever and I finally splurged and got it as a birthday gift, and it’s the best purchase I’ve made that year 😩 it doesn’t smell like cherry on me, instead the saffron, rose and myrrh is accentuated and it’s so long lasting I could shower and still have the perfume on me the next day! It’s such a sophisticated and luxurious fragrance I’ve never seen before and quite honestly the only high end perfume that’s worth it in my opinion. I’m now salvaging every milliliter of it for as long as I can as a broke uni student🫠

Such a pretty fragrance. This is unlike anything I have in my collection. The cherry is the slightest bit medicinal. Tons of cherry and rose. Some saffron. A little bit of the other florals with a touch of musk, frankincense and myrrh. It’s not full bottle worthy to me, but I’m happy to have it in my collection. Okay, the longer I have it on, the more I like it. The medicinal scent fades away after a while and the peony is amplified supporting a slightly rosy cherry. The saffron and incense have faded but still linger in the background for supporting roles. Absolutely stunning. A strong like for me.

Do not listen to the hate. This perfume smells absolutely gorgeous 😍. I am on my second bottle.

I have tested this 3 times in store and each time I have enjoyed it more and more. The first time I tried it I was put off by the strong opening but fell in love with the mid and dry down. The next couple of times of testing I didn't mind the opening at all. It became a love from the initial spray! The jammy rose🌹 and black cherry 🍒 are the stars of this fragrance, which are 2 of my favourite notes. It's a strong scent so you need to go easy on the sprays. It's sweet but not cloying, and more suited to autumn and winter in my opinion. It's definitely attention grabbing and if you prefer light, clean and airy fragrances then this is not for you! For me this perfume is divine and soooooo addictive. It costs a bit more than I would like to spend but I have nothing quite like it in my collection so am going to treat myself to a full bottle next payday. I'm looking forward to wearing it and feeling classy and expensive!! 🔥👸 ❤️ 💖 ❣️

When the teaser is top notch but the movie is bullshit. A trap for newbies to fall for. A person sniffing this for the first time will instantly fall in love, who’s just new to perfumes or who has no prior knowledge of other perfumes. It’s when you move around, work a bit, hours get longer, you now know something about the world of perfumes. THIS is when you realize that Carmina is barely any good. Very bad.
