Stunning perfume, I love Iris but even so, within seconds of the shop assistant putting this on a test strip I had my wallet out paying for a bottle. Dethroned Dior Homme Intense as my favourite Iris fragrance

Анонім

Best way I can describe it is slightly spicy candied leather. Interesting for sure but I never see myself wearing this

Анонім

I'm not sure I like the Almonds in this. This with the Powdery Iris is not a blend I'm sure I Vibe with. Quite Underwhelming really. Plus this definitely leans more feminine even though it was perhaps made with the Men in mind (bottle style). So maybe Unisex inclined (Scent is Genderless is my Mantra but some scents definitely speak very directly to specific genders). Longevity- Below Mid🚶♀️

smell is fantastic, got a tester bottle for $190 so well worth it imo. however i just dont find myself reaching for it very often unfortunately

The perfumer who created this fragrance tackled one of the most challenging notes to compose: orris, orchid and incense. He presented it in a regal, almost mythical way, so much so that even royalty could appreciate this type of sophisticated, understated, and elegant scent. I thank Creed for this successful fragrance; I bought it and received many compliments. I highly recommend it. 10/10

This was my absolute favorite when I first got it about 2 years ago. It was light, fresh, soft suede and iris. It was so so light & powdery. Now that I've had it for a while it has matured and it's so deep _ rich. The vanilla, tonka, and suede have deepened so much it's becoming a different fragrance to my nose. I don't know if it's for the good or not. It used to remind me of the softness of Cuir Beluga or Fendi Baguette, but it's now lost that air of softness. It's still gorgeous and I still love it. I just wish it would have remained light. I miss the original opening. I know this happens to fragrances over time. Sometimes it's for the best. My bottle of Burberry Goddess did the same thing, but I prefer the freshness of a new bottle. It just depends if I enjoy a matured scent or not.

It smells like marzipan for the first few seconds, then there’s a hint of cherry. It settles into very different scent, reminiscent of Divine Vanille by Essential Parfums. I quite like it.

A beautiful symphony of almond, powdery florals and sweet deep vanilla. I’m not a huge Creed. I only like a couple of their frags (Queen of Silk & Centaurus) but this one will definitely join the list!

Анонім

almond and i do not go together. this just reminds me of those yucky medicine you were forced to take as a child. a shame, because without the almond i'll probably love this.

At first I waa like umm maybe I just need to be get used to this, this was at initial spray it was strong and may of played up a slight allergy for me but then 20 minutes later it transformed Indy a beautiful leather note I found not to overpowering just perfect balance. The note transition this makes smoothly is so good. Went from being its ok on the fence to like ok I quite like this one now. Lasts and projects really well on my skin also which is a huge bonus.

#1746 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this sprayette from Lucky Scent. Probably because of the price points I’ve found Creed scents over-rated and underwhelming. If you’re looking at paying over $300 for a scent you expect something amazing, but Creed scents are so widely copied, with some of the low priced dupes being quite good copies, you should be skeptical of any being a good value proposition. And the reality is that of the twelve I’ve tried I’ve “disliked" four, found six “okay”, ”liked” two and “loved” none until now. And I haven’t thought any of them were worth a third the asking price. But I will say of the twelve I’ve now experienced this is the best. Where this one has advantage is there really isn’t an exact analogue scent out there. None of those being mentioned above, except the Givenchy I’ve listed, are even close. But if you narrow it down to the two primary ingredients here, nuts and iris, there’s stuff out there as likable as this or more so, and at a better price point. I like Maison Alhambra’s “Fusion Intense” almost as much as this and it’s $22. I’m a fan of two mid-market scents in my collection, Valentino “Uomo”, and Profumum Roma “Alba”. I had Givenchy Gentleman "Reserve Privee” but gave it to a friend who liked it and haven’t gotten around to replacing it, but it’s very well-rated, you can find it for less than $100, and I don’t find the difference between the almond in this and the chestnut in the Givenchy that profound. All that said, this is a very nice, versatile, nutty iris scent. No one will find it offensive. Some may find it too sweet for their taste. It think it’s fine date wear. Enough perfume oil here to stain clothing, so it performs quite well. But to me it’s not $200 better than the Givenchy. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

i used to hate this but now i think it smells ok, just ok tho.

Powdery, nutty, sweet frag. I get loads of almond and orris, and a fair dose of vanilla. Kind of smells like almond biscotti? Not really my style but I could see how someone would like that. Personally I think it gets better as it develops, the leather and amber come through and gives it some depth and more of a unisex character.

The first spray was an almond/vanilla dream, then it was too much leather for 20minutes, so that it felt masculine to me, but that faded. The problem is how weak it is. Thankfully, I don't smell the patch. I still need it though. A Creed vanilla? yes please. Gotta find a cheaper choice than retail. Update: Found it on Jomashop for $213, that's still a lot, but it's half price.

Super easy wear. Easy blind buy, if only it was easy on the pockets. Super smooth, has a subtle power with the projection. It’s almost like if you could call a fragrance “meek”(strength under control) this and Absolu would be it. Now how long it last through the day….. that I’m not to sure of yet.

Анонім

Masterpiece from Creed in a non-conventional Creed DNA. I do agree that strength and projection are a weakness but it is more wearable in warmer weather than other fragrances of similar style. There is something luxurious about this scent that I can't seem to put my finger on. It's almost like if Willy Wonka made the most luxurious cherry-cola-flavored gummy worm, and then that was made into a $410 fragrance. There is something familiar and nostalgic about this fragrance I haven't been able to identify, like I've smelled this scent before as a child somewhere. Outstanding ingredient quality. Creed just knows how to scratch the itch and go beyond the notes and provide a fragrance with an experience. Will I wear this every day? No. But I can appreciate this enough for it to be worth picking up for me. If price is an issue for you and you're looking for an alternative I'd recommend trying out Guerlain Lhomme Ideal EDP, Extreme and Parfum.

Opens up with a nicely blended blast of sweetness, dries to a sweet almond, vanilla, woody, cherry like fragrance. Nothing to really complain about, performance seems decent for the price and the quality of ingredients is clearly there. This is simply not something I see myself wearing though, but I do enjoy smelling it. 8/10

Анонім

I love it but for the money it could have been a bit stronger and more projecting. I adore this scent profile though so i will keep it. A more affordable option (not dupe) would be Jimmy Choo Iris Crush.

I wish it were not so damn expensive. It's one of the most intoxicating scents I've ever come across. It smells like a sweet luxury penthouse... cherry almond cola with leather undertones. It's so luxurious and alluring. 10/10 fragrance, just far too pricey. Guess i'll have to keep bothering my local Nordstrom for samples LOL

Creed Delphinus is easily one of the most luxurious cherry-leaning fragrances on the market—though it never states it outright (as there is no cherry note in the composition). The almond note creates a subtle cherry-like illusion, which is seamlessly wrapped in the smoothest, most velvety iris. The blend is so refined that no single note dominates; instead, it melts into a creamy, radiant aura that trails beautifully. The result is an opulent, addictive scent trail that feels polished, modern, and unmistakably high-end. The sillage and scent trail this perfume creates is intoxicating which is guaranteed to get you compliments (I get many when I wear this perfume) and the longevity is more than 12 hours as I could still catch whiffs of this perfume in my hair till the day after application.

I’ve tried this one several times at the creed counter, and it keeps me coming back every time. It’s beautiful on the initial spray. Sweet incense, soft powdery vanillla-iris combo and sweet almost lactonic almond and vuagely fruity almost like sweet orange without the tartness of citrus. This is eye rollingly addictive. The only thing that stopped me from an on the stop purchase is the big creed price tag. I put the sample card in my purse and a few days later was looking for something deep in my purse pockets and kept getting this waft of something incredible and went hunting for my sample cards from my recent trip and it was this one I was smelling. Still incredibly strong on the paper days later and just wow. I think it will be my next purchase.

Smells like Swedish fish

Just smelt this… might order soon. Very powdery and rich at the same time, like a super sweet almond vanilla cake. Love it so much

Анонім

An elegant sweet, powdery and milky scent, but to add depth I layer with oud oil, works like a magic.

Анонім

This is smoooth 🥵 Not too sweet, very sofphisticated with a leather touch. Finally a Creed that I do like. Unfortunately the reason why I won’t be purchasing it, is because the dry down (after so many hours ~8) is pure smoke and nothing else. Literally like if you left your jacket over so much wood and smoke.

While Delphinus is certainly a pleasant wear, it struggles to truly stand out in the crowded market of niche almond scents. It offers a cozy blend of nuttiness, warmth, and spice, though the opening hits with a distinct licorice-like edge—likely the incense and pepper playing off each other. Fortunately, that sharpness settles within about 10 minutes, giving way to a beautifully unisex fragrance with impressive sillage. This reminds me of BDK Rouge Smoking because of the almond note. It also produces a camphor (Carmex lip balm) like aroma.

Анонім

Fantastic woody iris, aromatic with Carmex. In the best imaginable way. This is actually underrated.

Анонім

Not a big fan. Cherry cream soda, with some powdery undertones. Feels a bit juvenile, reminds me of spilling cherry dr pepper on a krispy kreme donut. Not getting much pepper or leather at all. No smoke. Sorry, this just isnt for me.

Great fragrance, dries down a little bit powdery to my liking though. The opening is like a very bright black cherry with a creamy undertone. Longevity wise it's pretty good too.
