I've had a bottle of this for years and decided to dig it out today. It's pleasant, cozy even. Citrus and woods, dries down to a soft clean musk with just a bit of warmth and spice. Somewhat reminiscent of Dirty English or Dior Homme (from 15ish years ago) without the iris. And if memory serves, it's almost exactly like the American Crew scent they used to sell in salons along with the men's haircare line. Not sure when or where I'll wear it, but I was glad to rediscover it. If you find it for a bargain, it's a safe blind by.

This registers with me as a classic masculine sweet scent. I pretty much smell a realistic sweet mandarin top with some fougere aromatics in the middle and a woody/musky base. Better on older men imo, although I think it's fine for any age. The only trouble is its minimal projection, it's basically a skin scent. EDIT: after a couple of months, maceration seems to have helped. The scent got deeper, more notes are coming out, and it projects better and lasts longer. The pimento's spice, the touch of sesame, and the vetiver register much more than before. The scent bubble lasts a solid few hours and stays on clothes/skin for much longer after that. I'm actually really liking it now.

This is a fruity and woody initial burst but quickly dries down to a chemical, “hairspray” smell to me. I smell it the whole time I wear it and can’t wait to wash it off. I’ve tried to mature it for a month but that didn’t seem to help. I also tried layering it with other scents, but the hairspray scent is still there. Not for me.

I am surprised it is not more popular and surprised by its rating. Its price is 15 dollars, but its quality and scent are comparable to fragrances priced at 70 to 100 dollars. In short, it is a scent that gives a feeling of optimism and freshness. The orange note stands out but not in an overpowering way. 7.25/10

The advert with Ewan McGregor sold me on this when I was 14. Bought a sample recently to take a trip down memory lane. It is okay (which is what I actually thought when I was 14). It has this strange dusty wet wipe smell which I can't seem to get past. Nice orange opening and the sesame is quite interesting. Overall: 7/10.

Adventure would be a banger of a gem if it had any sort of longevity. As it is now it’s just a meh fragrance.

Too much cost cutting on the presentation. I think the newer bottles look kind of boring and naked without that metal top.

Davidoff Adventure is one of those scents you don’t think too much about, but end up reaching for more than you’d expect. The opening is bright and uplifting: citrus-forward with mandarin orange and lemon, lightly spiced by a dash of black pepper. There’s a strong alcoholic hit right off the top, especially if you spray it directly onto skin, but it softens fairly quickly. Once it settles, that citrusy-pepper blend takes over and gives off an outdoorsy, easygoing feel, clean, masculine, and not trying too hard. The transition is subtle. I mostly get the pepper and mandarin orange, and deeper into the drydown, the vetiver and cedar become more noticeable. White musk is listed, but it’s not something I really pick up clearly. There’s also a bit of pimento in the base, giving it a soft earthy tinge, and while bergamot and lemon are there, they sit so lightly at the top that they fade quickly or get overpowered by the pepper and citrus. It’s not a complex scent. Nothing in it really contrasts or pushes against the other notes, so it feels quite linear. That makes it safe and easy to wear, but also kind of one-toned. It doesn’t smell bad. Far from it. But it’s not something that’s going to blow you away with evolution or depth. If I had to describe its ideal use, it’s definitely a spring or fall fragrance. Not too hot, not too cold. Just that perfect in-between. It wouldn’t work well in winter, and it doesn’t have the lightness to stay fresh in high heat. It leans masculine for sure, and I’d say it’s the kind of scent that fits the “dad fragrance” label in a positive way: steady, classic, reliable. A very grounded scent for the average man. Performance isn’t a strong suit. On moisturized and clean skin, I get about four hours tops. Projection is moderate at best, people need to be within arm’s length to really notice it. It doesn’t carry far, and while it sits nicely on clothes for a bit longer, it’s not what you’d call long-lasting. For those wanting intensity or uniqueness, this probably won’t satisfy. But here’s the thing: for the price, it’s still solid. You’re getting a decent, everyday scent in a sturdy bottle, and the presentation. with the metallic casing, actually feels nice in hand. As a gift or a budget-friendly pickup, it’s more than fine. It’s not adventurous like the name suggests, and it doesn’t have much edge, but it’s dependable and likable. Scent: 7/10 – Clean citrus and light spice, pleasant but simple. Longevity : 4/10 – Fades quickly on most skin. Sillage: 5.5/10 – Light projection, arm’s length at best. Uniqueness: 6/10 – Not standout, but still has a nice character. Value: 9/10 – Affordable and solid for what it is. Overall: 6.5/10 – A casual, no-stress choice with a soft touch. Pros: +Refreshing mandarin and pepper blend +Good for spring and autumn +Great value for the price +Simple and likable, makes a nice gift Cons: -Poor longevity and soft projection on most skin -Not as “adventurous” as the branding implies -Very linear and straightforward -Doesn’t stand out in a crowd Adventure isn’t built to impress fragrance collectors or make a bold statement. But for everyday wear, or someone looking for a clean, fresh scent without the frills, it quietly gets the job done.

Ok smell, HORRIBLE sillage and longevity. There are so many better frags, even for this price. Scent: 6 Versatility: 8 Longevity: 2.5 Sillage: 2 Uniqueness: 5

This used to be my go to fregrance until it disapeared from the market, it returned a couple years later but i belive its reformulated, it smells less spicy, Camphorous, and nutty. It also dosent last as long. I changed to Guerlain L'homme idéal l'intense and its been my new favorite go to spicy fregrance. And when i want that more resinous smell i use terre d'hermes perfume. This was however my first fregrance and i will always have a soft spot for it. If the reformulate it to last longer i would wear it daily

wore this for a year, was my signature in school, only ever got 1 complement. The longevity is bad simply due to it being a 2000’s EDT. It smells nice though, masculine with a hint of spices and citrus. If you buy this, be prepared to reapply every 4 hours minimum 6/10 would be 8+ if it was an EDP

I lived in this scent through my late teens to early 20's. As a broke student I stole so many tester bottles of this from various department stores, haha. This is/was very unisex and easy to wear, with lots of warm spices and citrus. A bottle of this was always in my bag so I could top up throughout the day as a mood booster, and I actually really liked the low silage and complete lack of longevity too as it never got overwhelming or strong enough to annoy anyone when spritzed it every few hours. I recall it layered beautifully with my Dr Organic Manuka Honey deodorant too.

Smell's like A mish mash of Burberry Touch, London ,Versace pour homme and Armani diamonds rolled in to one.

What a fantastic, underrated fragrance. No one talks about this which is a shame. It smells great. You get a huge dose of pepper and tea which is lovely and it dries down to a white musk; I love white musk as a note, it's clean and fresh. Longevity is surprisingly good (about 6 hours with 4 sprays) and although it's more of a skin scent you'll get a pleasant fragrance bubble. And you can find this for a bargain price too as it's not too popular and been out for a while. Nothing ground breaking but does that really matter? 8.5/10

Took a while to get into this one but after a few times wearing it I really enjoy it. Usually not a big fan of pimento in fragrances but I find it fits perfectly well in this.

Am I the only one that gets a crossover between Versace Pour Homme and Tommy Bahama St Barts? But deep on the nose and on dry down it becomes a bit creamier and coconut-ier than those two. I just wish it would project or last more, like people with Vintage batches say it did, and seem to all agree. But all in all it's a great dumb reach and doesn't smell dated to me at all.

The initial spray is okay u get hit with the mandarin orange and some spices Is not something I would wear to a special ocassion because the projection and sillage is weak Would only wear this as my gym scent

The opening is quite fresh, but the dry down is a little warmer and spicy. The performance isn't great, but it does get the odd compliment and is quite inoffensive. 7/10.

This was a blind buy and I was very pleasantly surprised. It smells nice and woody, and the pepper notes really give it a nice kick of spice that compliments the woods very well. It smells fresh and invigorating while staying noticeably masculine. This scent works well with layering, and I found it to work in most seasons, which is a bonus. Great value and a surprisingly complex frag for the price. Good buy!

very synthetic, I blind bought it only because I like pepper notes, and well... it is somewhat peppery. but in a dad's cologne way, it smells like something you smelled many time before when you were younger, the bottle is nicer than the fragrance in this case ... 6/10

Just got this as a blind buy. I'm not sure at all about this. I don't like the bitterish Mate note. At the moment it's just OK. I'll have to see if it grows on me.

Great fragrance for the price; a spicy scent not a freshie and a good starter to trying something different if you are starting on your fragrance journey. It's got me compliments although my bottle is at least 4/5 years old.

Don't get fooled by its name... its not adventurous in an exciting way. I would rather note it as nostalgic and exploring. Its a lotion like creamy citrus 🍊 but often you'll get a fresh sharp whiff of vetiver and tea leaf(classic davidoff move🎁) It's nothing which will turn everyone's head but you'll definitely be noticed. Most importantly you'll be missed. 😎 Doesn't go with talkative or extrovert personality at all .Casual and formal both will do . Versatile. Some complaining here for longevity,but i think it would be cloying and heavy if it lasts more than it does. It's from a house which works in every criteria very carefully,so you can rely on it's subtlety.

I wore this when it first came out as a young teenager, it was bloody magical. One of the best fragrances in the world at the time. Picked up a new batch today and... my heart is broken. This has become a castrated, watered down into a fuzzy and almost nondescript scent, resembling only a quarter of what it once was. There's a synthetic cinnamon-like stank that wasn't there before.

Bored with Cool Water? Try this. It’s still pretty good go-to fragrance for whenever! No special occasion required.

This is one of those fragrances that you wear a couple of times, think "meh", and then give it to your younger brother to keep.

Very good combo of pepper, tea leaf and mandarins. In a dry down, on my skin it smells like weed

My favourite in the Davidoff line. Fresh, peppery and woody. Just a shame it doesn’t last that long. Last 100ml bottle I had lasted a couple of months. Would buy again if it’s on offer, but there are better late spring/summer/early fall scents out there. A pleasant drop.
