Smells like a one night stand. I can't tell if I love that or hate it.
The opening is rather sharp, with a pronounced alcoholic edge. It quickly settles, enveloping the senses in fresh, bright, fruity-floral notes. My husband likened it to a 1990s deodorant. As the fragrance unfolds, it smooths into milky, creamy accords that are comforting and enveloping. In this form, it lasts the longest, offering great wearing pleasure with a noticeable yet unobtrusive sillage. Longevity requires at least one reapplication during the day, as the base—subtle though still perceptible on fabric—remains gentle even at the end of the day. This is a highly successful 1990s composition, standing out among other perfumes of its era. Even compared to contemporary fragrances, it beautifully showcases the warmth and comfort of milky notes without heavy, animalic accents or overtly dessert-like gourmandism. A beautiful, subtle, and well-balanced composition.
I bought this blind. I feel like you will only enjoy this perfume if you understand "the vibe" 😂 What I mean by that is that somewhere in your memory bank you have to have an association to the early 00s futuristic themes, European fashion at the time, and the aspiration to be the simple not trying too hard kinda gal - this is not get dolled up and feel pretty type of perfume. This is I'm wearing a white tshirt, puma trainers and cargo pants from H&M with tommy hilfiger boxers sticking out. It smells of something aftershavey at the beginning but this nivea masculine edge is buried under the lactonic creaminess and plasticky scent which is to die for if you're into that. I wasn't expecting such a strong pineapple note, but I'm so happy it's in this. There is a very distinct note which some in the reviews below classed as... well let's put it this way - rubber scent ... which is similar to the underlying note in Light Blue. This is very in alignment with that whole trend back in the day of CK All unisex fragrances. This falls into that category with the extra tropical sunshine, and the lactonic scent. Personally, I find this absolutely stunning. I wonder if I am nose blind from falling in love (this happens to me when I start spraying all the time 😂) so I will report back re longevity and projection in some time as I have been going through my usual "wish it lasted longer and was stronger" motions 😂 To finish my review that not many will get but why not - smells like Audi 80 in the 90s, with a coconut air freshener. That's a core memory I'm willing to smell for as long as I can with diesel plus plus 😂🙏🎀
If you like lactonic fragrances, you will most likely love this one. The milk note and nutmeg are clearly noticeable. It is creamy, with a slightly spicy and peppery background that gives it character. Diesel fragrances tend to be quite affordable, and in this case it is advisable to apply it on clothing to extend its longevity. The projection is moderate, making it perfect for rainy days or full autumn. It can give the impression of opening a brand-new doll (that slight plastic-like smell), but in a good way: lactonic, creamy, nostalgic, and intriguing.
Love this one! It’s creamy, milky, slightly sweet. Very warm and comforting. I keep smelling myself. Great scent for cozying up at home or to wear right before bed. Highly recommend!
It's quirky right down to the packaging - which is what drew me to it. When I first sprayed it I thought I got sour milk and I put it at the back of the line. After another attempt, this time with patience, I sprayed and let it settle without judgement and the sour note turned into the softest musk with a delicate whisper of something fruity dipped in coconut milk, a creaminess lingering in the background. It's a lovely and quirky fragrance. Its not something I'd wear every day but its perfect for working from home or running errands when I just want a delicate soft scent.
This scent is pure nostalgia for me, I was using it maybe 20 years ago? From what I remember, it was such a clean, lactonic, and unique smell, and I absolutely loved drowning myself in it 🥛
I think a person who loves musk would love this type of scent. It's a synthetic pineapple hairspray in the opening followed by a green touch of cassis. Next there is a soapy fresh aspect of the lily of the valley, transitioning into dry coconut plus cherry...feels like there is an almond here too (not listed). The finishing stage is a woody powdery musk. I wish there was more milk but I'm not picking up on it. This is a clean scent for musk lovers. It is unique and for that I like it.
This was...weird. I can't tell if I mean that in a good way or not yet (need a full wear on clean skin first) BUT it isn't terrible. The opening, however, was definitely not for me. It gave literal Diesel gas upon first sniff. Like hair burnt from a hot comb (iykyk). After that I must not know what milk smells like because all I got was diet hot comb hair. Bearable but still not the lactonic, coconutty notes I was expecting. Admittedly I did find there to be a sweet undertone to it that wasn't there in the beginning which was nice. I also do get the "cold" description and actually like that a lot, it's refreshing. I'm really hoping it's just because I've been wearing another perfume all day that I can't really smell much else. Overall I'm not mad considering it wasn't $100 or something. Plus it's fun smelling something other than vanilla and lavender. Definitely a specific scent for a specific feeling you want.
First spray is offensively chemical, burning your nose and throat like you just opened something industrial. Then this turns lactonic and floral -sweet, which is a vast improvement. However, the undertones of vinyl and petrochemicals never really go away or blend in. Definitely a risk-taking composition, and interesting to try, but not one I'd want to wear.
I lovelovelove this perfume!! So happy i managed to get a full size of it:)) It makes me feel like a happy and moisturized baby in a soft blanket.
Ohhhh my goddd YESSSSS >when it smells like lotion and condoms and lube and deodorant ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really like this. Feels like sitting on the beach with feet dug in the sand, sunkissed warm skin and a cooling sea breeze lingering around you.
I really wish I could smell the milk... I guess I just don't have the right nose for this. :( I like it a lot more after several hours (like, a day, actually) and I'm hoping I can grow to enjoy it somehow. Right now it just smells like plastic to me. I bought it online for pretty cheap so I don't want to discourage anyone from trying it - I hope it works for you!
they were able to perfectly capture what a sleepy cat smells like i would definitely spray this on my cat but thats probably really bad for her
This was my favorite scent freshman/sophmore year of highschool. Repurchased out of overwhelming nostalgia and realized this is the reason for my love of cozy lactonic scents. Opens very “nondescript generic male” fragrance but the dry down is so beautiful. Fuzzy, warm and beautifully spiced and subtly so. Like drinking coquito in a bubblegum pink mohair sweater.
Very special scent. The shaving foam comparation comes from the mix of creamy fluffiness + a green note that, to my nose, comes from the cassis. As the perfume evolves that green note shuts down and smells lactonic and spicy not in a gourmand way, but in a clean soapy way. Quite unique. Reminds me of 90s perfumes which were not looking for a perfumey profile, but something more bold. Stands out without being too much.
Hear me out, this thing smells like the fluffy tummy of a newborn kitten🥹❤️ comforting, pure and warm❤️❤️❤️
Wearing this for the first time today and I have to say I'm loving it. Soft musky pineapple and some light floral notes. A little soapy, but not to the extent that it makes me think "soap". Projection has been good so far and I'm loving smelling this on myself thus far today. This might be my new summer staple. Has a summery vibe without being aquatic, overly citrusy or bright - love fragrances like that but sometimes I want something a little different during the season.
My most complimented fragrance. Whenever I hug someone wearing this, or just lean closer to someone at work they say, oh you smell nice.
Doesn’t smell like burnt plastic to me. I get a smooth, slightly lactonic shampoo scent with hints of coconut and the citruses listed (pineapple, orange). I get the shaving cream comparison as well, but to me this is mostly a slightly sweet shampoo scent with some milky nuances. It’s so cheap that even if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t have minded too much. IMO this is a nice easy reach for work or doing chores around the house while sipping on a refreshing juice or cold glass of milk.
I recently got Fursan White which is a dupe of Vanilla Powder and immediately thought of this. I couldn't remember if it was the white or red one but looking at the notes I think it's this one (although I do remember the red one smelling very much like coconut too and looking at the reviews it seems I'm not alone) then I smelled Blanche Bete and thought of this again. Something about the creamy coconut smell just made me think of this. I'm not saying they're identical but I'm very curious to try this aga all these years later. I've got a feeling these were ahead of their time and would fit right in with a lot of niche perfumes that are popular today.
I was expecting something more sweet and milky but to me it smells very similar to shaving foam? Like Gillette shaving foam. I’d say it’s more of a masculine scent than feminine. After reading the reviews suggesting it smells like plastic, I took a chance anyway since people said the same thing about AG cloud, which I loved. But yeah this is definitely a strange scent and I’m not a fan. :(
Honestly, I don't smell the milk or the coconut notes at all, but I don't mind. I think that it's a lovely perfume. There is something synthetic about it, but it doesn't remind me of plastic. It smells the way I imagine an android's skin would smell. It's sweet, not in a gourmand or fruity way, but in a soapy way. Aside from that, I'd also say that the florals stand out to me. It keeps the scent from teetering into men's deodorant territory by giving it a feminine tinge. I love this perfume. I don't know why, but it never fails to make me think of The Sims 3. It's nostalgic and a little uncanny valley, but still has a lot of soul to it. If the sims in that game had a scent, it would definitely be this. Also, I didn't know where to fit this in, but it pairs really nicely with vanilla scents! Wearing it with Warm Vanilla Sugar smells like a dream.
If you want your home to smell like this try these wax melts from Target, it’s called Seaside Driftwood.
It's like a spiced coconut milkshake with a musky background. It's inviting, feminine, soft, a little sweet and friendly. You have to like the note of coconut milk. Its like when you cannot sleep and its cold outside and you warm a glass of milk with a hint of nutmeg to give it a little bit of spice. Its cozy. You can feel it like a warm hug It's super versatile. It has medium projection and lasts about 7 hours. Its better that you use it on clothes.
Zero milk/creamy note , absolutely wasted my money buying it
I was anosmic to this at first, but now I love it! Reminds me very much of Montblanc Signature. An easy sweet floral for daytime.
Honestly I really dislike this fragrance it feels very chemical like and there is no milky or creamy notes as promised. However it does last reasonably well and it also is reasonable price so not a big waste of money. Definitely NOT a coconut or milk fragrance
Not for me. I recieved it as a gift in my teens and used it alot, but not something that I would by for my self. It's sweet with hints of coconut.
