One of my favorite perfumes on men. By far better than the newest version of 2025. Perfectly balances masculinity and softness. You can’t go wrong with it for a date night
Forget all the reviews, this is a designer masterpiece, completely unisex, works for all occasions, as a woman I love this as one of my signature scents, it's versatile, good year-round. Wear what you like when you like. Life is too short.
It just has no business being the top rated fragrance on here. It's not something you'd wear professionally or just hanging out its really that strong and cloying. I can't imagine anyone under 40 wearing this and furthermore you have to be in a suit with a nice cut and shave to pull this off. It's not versatile whatsoever and if i could describe the scent in any way, think of some a-list celebrity attending a gala night. It gives off a very niche vibe imho. If you're looking for female attention do not buy this one go for something fresh and sweet.
Dior Homme Intense is one of the most elegant and sophisticated designer fragrances ever created. It opens with a clean iris note mixed with lavender, creating a powdery, luxurious, and slightly sweet first impression. As it develops, amber, woods, and vanilla appear, giving it a smooth, warm, and incredibly refined dry down. Performance is excellent, lasting around 8–10 hours with moderate to strong projection. It works best during autumn, winter, and special evenings, making it perfect for dates, formal occasions, and moments when you want to smell classy and mature. It offers good value for money considering the quality of the blend and its timeless character. However, the biggest downside is its style — the strong iris note can feel too powdery or makeup-like for some people, making it less universally appealing compared to sweeter and fresher designer fragrances. Overall, Dior Homme Intense is a masterpiece for those who appreciate elegance and sophistication. It is not a typical compliment monster, but its quality, uniqueness, and luxurious feeling make it one of the best men's fragrances ever made. 8,3/10.
Guys RASASI came out with 1:1 clone of the vintage DHI with all the notes with the lipsticky touch, ARNAN BLACK you have to give it a try, kayan is too powdery its also nice but ARNAN in my point of view 95% the vintage DHI
Rasasi recently came out with a 1 to 1 dupe exactly the same vintage DHI with a monster performance. no one is talking about it i dont know why, its called ARNAN BLACK, DHI lovers you have to give it a try
Tall, dark, and handsome in a dark suit. That’s the aura this fragrance gives. 10/10.
It’s a nice fragrance and its Cool , but it’s not for business, it appears soft a little, but still cool and I love it
I love this scent, you need to spray alot to maximise the performance and scent trail but then again, i'm usually getting alot of compliments wherever i go. like most of my frags i go through them like water but its worth it because i love the scent and I love catching wiffs of it as i go about my day/night
5.7/10 I just don't love these lipsticky fragrances. The powdery dry down is nice.
I LOVE IT. I blind buy and I fell in love with it. It's definitely top #1 on my list. I would definitely re-purchase
Projects amazingly. Lasts all day. One of my favourite fragrances of all time.
as a woman who almost exclusively wears feminine leaning fragrances, i seriously debated getting this one for myself. it has such an addictive quality, definitely very unique and head turning.
I was hoping for warm dusty cacao powder on top of a light iris and masculine woody base. All I get is a fresh slightly fruity baby powder in the opening. Does get slightly warmer and darker in the dry down but not really for me. I’ll give this a 6.5 out of 10. Maybe I will try this again in the future but I much prefer DIOR HOMME PARFUM
I have a 2010 bottle with the silver collar, 2011, and 2025 bottle. The 2010 and 11 smell and perform exactly the same. They last a long time, and you can tell it was before any huge reformulation just based on spraying it on skin. It gives a very oily texture when sprayed. The 2025 bottle however is very very VERY toned down. No oily feel on skin which is bad because it lasts maybe 2 hours if that. The scent fades quickly and you can just tell the quality control hasn't ever been the same since the earlier years. I am a 26-year-old man and personally like the scent. It smells very lipstick like on the initial spray. I have yet to meet a woman who dislikes the scent. They actually like it a lot. I tell them "It doesn't smell like lipstick to you?" and they say it doesn't. Now I say it smells lipsticky when first sprayed. It's not like I hop out the shower and spray it and go run to a woman and say HERE SMELL ME! lol. Overall speaking on the 2011 and earlier bottles I give a 10/10. You are paying a good price if you want these years though.
I just find out it almost smells like LIPSTICK ON by replica I’m in shock I love this smell though
I don't understand why people say this is somehow a safe blind buy. If you're into fresh fragrances and you try this one, you'll definitely want to throw up. It's a unique and complex fragrance for men, but it's not for everyone.
I have a 2023 bottle Smells amazing - powdery rich iris. Smells like a 5-piece suit at a private nighttime gala. But it doesn’t last that long or project much. I get 5h with moderate projection. 8/10
Smell like what my grandma would wear
Sophistication in a bottle.
Can’t go wrong with an Iris dominant fragrance. I would consider this as unisex.
Dior Homme intense doesn't need any form of "convincing people that this is a great one". It won the best male fragrance of all time award, I don't know, 10 times in a row or so. Still, I have to say how incredible this fragrance is. Back when I bought my bottle about six years ago, people were already complaining about it: “This batch is crap,” “This batch is a fake,” “This batch doesn’t last long,” and so on and so forth. I can assure you that’s absolute nonsense. Every fragrance ages and changes its DNA, its longevity, its scent—just like wine. It’s pretty much the same effect. And believe me, the bottle I own was already stunning when I bought it, but now it’s turned into pure gold. By the way, I have many clones. And most of them are doing great work these days. But this DNA can’t be cloned. In every respect. The DNA, of course, but above all that divine drydown. I sprayed a few spritzes two days ago and still detect hints I can’t describe. It seems to be this unique combination of the musk used, the iris of course, and the lavender—which, by the way, is very prominent in this DNA—and I’m curious why no one ever mentions this lavender. It’s the most beautiful lavender I know. And a hint of pear notes. This drydown smells in a way that defies description. It smells divine. It smells like Dior Homme Intense. And you have to smell it for yourself.
I still have fond memories of this scent. I bought it during its release and sold it shortly after. It was awful, thick, lipstick-like, for older people, and nauseating. I don't understand how young people can like it; it's probably due to a lack of taste. The main thing is that you stink from 10 meters away.
My favorite of all time. It's just perfect.
This reminds me of lipstick. It's a very woody and light scent, it's not offensive to me at all. I like it and I have to respect the craftsmanship that went into this, especially with the creation of that iris note—but it didn't blow me away. 7.5/10
If you're wearing this without your suit you will smell like an asshole. If you're wearing this without a fresh hair cut you will smell like an asshole. If you're wearing this in broad daylight you will smell like an asshole. If you're wearing this without a 100k+ salary you will smell like an asshole.
This is very classy and rich.. I used to own the OG dior homme and this flanker is the closest you can get to the original.. Really like it.. Powedery and warm.. Best for night time I think.. Although the only downside with it is longevity.. I get 3-4 hours max.. It's a great perfume!
I guess I just love lavender/iris fragrances; comforting. I prefer this one to Prada Lhomme because to me it is richer and has more character. One of the best fragrances I've smelled 9/10
This shit is a blasphemy. Gross air freshener, started hating on every fragrance having lavender/iris/powdery notes. 1/1 women fragrance, not even remotely close to male one, synthetic and shitty floral washing conditioner. 0/10, never again wont even try to smell any of Dior fragrances, they are a crime. Sauvage, Farenheit, this... criminal.
Imagine an evening date to a fancy restaurant, low lit warm lights and expensive. This is completely the vibe of this fragrance. Extremely woody and sweetish from the floral notes. It makes it a bit more difficult to wear casually because of how rich it is though, especially since it lasts all day.
