I find all the accords listed above to be accurate. It definitely has a mature profile that may not be for everyone—especially that powdery-ness. I really like it though. I find the projection more intimate than most. Sweating will also mute this scent.

I tested Dior Homme Intense and it felt completely overhyped. I test it because they say it's unisex and i was curious.When you read the reviews, everyone says it smells like lipstick and powder, and that it is one of the top men's fragrances. The day before, I had tried Guerlain's Shalimar Essence, which truly smelled like rich lipstick, heavy powder, and so much more weird.When I tried the Dior the next day, it was absolutely nothing compared to Shalimar in terms of intensity and scent. And powder . It was just a faint, underperforming ,safe fragrance that completely faded away. By the time I walked back home from the store, it had completely vanished. I couldn't even remember what it smelled like anymore. Edit: i tried it again it smells boring to me i don't get it.Like a random powder scent from a makeup product I googled why.Maybe is hyped because the men's market is full of generic, aggressive scents . By introducing iris to men, it became a masterpiece for its smooth, aristocratic quality . For me it feels boring, because women have much richer and livelier powders. Ι get that point of view completely

Grandpa's Lipstick 🤷

Heard good things about this and I'm surprised but I just don't like it. At all. It just smells like powdery lipstick? No way I'd ever want to smell like this. Thank God it was just a sample. Don't see this smelling good on a male or female. I don't hate it though. Edit: I was wrong about this. I used the rest of the sample just to get rid of it and can see why people love this. It does bloom into a beautiful coca cola ish type of cool weather fragrance and smells cozy AF. Smells very Suave guy by a fireplace. Although it's not a love I do like it. Very comforting scent. Smells like something a teddy bear would wear if it were cognizant. The quality is very good also. Fragrances are funny like that, but yeah, I was wrong. I apologize DHI. Forgive me

Finally got a bottle of DHI after more than a decade hating this scent. I remember I started collecting I hated this so much. I thought it smelled like a grandma fragrance. I tried to love it but couldn’t. Fast forward to 2026, I finally understand this scent profile. I don’t know about batch variations, but this smells more less similar to the batch a decade ago. The differences are negligible. This is a 10/10 fragrance for me. Sexy, comforting, and masculine powdery buttery iris and woody scent. Will be wearing this a lot in the autumn and winter. I also git DHO which is also great. I wear it as a signature scent in the warmer weather.

The “new” DHI 2025, quite frankly, is an excellent outcome for most of us. We are lucky we didn’t get some gutted imitation of DHI, but rather, we were given a slightly different presentation of something many of us already love. Which actually, to be honest, gives the newer bottle a reason to exist alongside the older ones rather than just duplicating them. So, the impudent bashing of the different DHI formulas and batches, and yeah, they do vary. For some are denser, waxier and more powdery while others (like this newest one which is No.21961) are a little more aromatic, transparent or airy. But I really don’t think the differences are anywhere nearly as catastrophic as some make them sound. A lot of that comes from nostalgia and the way someone may attach a particular smell to a particular period in their lives. Whatever version you first fell in love with, or wore during some memorable time becomes the version in your head, and everything afterward gets judged against that memory. It’s basically the fragrance equivalent of everyone thinking the best era of SNL was the one they grew up watching. That doesn’t mean the differences aren’t real but “different from the version I’m emotionally tied to” and “Dior ruined it” are two very different things. This newer DHI still smells absolutely and unmistakably like DHI to me. It’s just presenting that DNA from a slightly different angle, and so far, I think it smells fucking fantastic.

It got a very older gentleman image when i tried it. Not my style. Reminds me for some reason of sauvage.

I went to buy a Jazz club, but the seller hooked me into this. Quite strong and mature fragrance, smells like million dollars. Bit pricey and not a blind buy. Will go great in evening or winter days. 7.5 from me.

In a world of industrially sweet and atomically loud Parfums, Elixirs, and Absolues, I keep coming back to DHI for cooler weather and night time occasions. It doesn't read or wear as fem. And I've never been told I smell like makeup, just that I smell really great whenever I wear it. Zero complaints about quality, longevity, or projection. Hard to dress down, though.

Literally smells like gummy bears with coca cola. I dont like it, expected way more.

Francis Kurkdjian single handily ruined a 2007 and 2011 masterpiece. The 2025 version of DHI is identical to YSL La Nuit De L’Homme ^Free Palestine - No Wars - No Stolen Oil^

This one has a more prominent iris note than 2020-2024 batches, but still not the pre-2020 reformulation masterpiece it used to be. I'm glad Dior is finally reversing its mistake though.

I'm using a 5 ml decant. The iris is not as pronounced as I had hoped, and the entire scent was gone within an hour. Pretty disappointed. The old Dior Homme Parfum is MUCH better.

I love this its my favorite cold weather fragrance. It is a masterpiece in my opinion I can't stop smelling it on me.

I just absolutely loves this one. It has a wonderful and complex iris-driven flowery and powdery scent with a touch of after eight mint chocolate. It is highly addictive and I always smile when I am about to go out and decide to use this instead of one of the other 40 perfumes I currently own

Reformulated several times, now this fragrance it's a shadow of the OG, dissapointed the way the industry has taken, a truly shame.

I have this 2025 version and tbh never smelt the previous version, so I can't compare. But I can say I love the scent of this DHI! It smells so classy that the aura is for a man who dress neatly and ready for a special occasion. It is lipsticky like a lot of people said but doesn't feel feminine. The iris is warmer than such in Prada L'Homme. Performance is top notch on me. But as it is so special, that's the problem for me. Although I wear it occasionally to office, but I feel it doesn't 100% suit my work dress as I work at a company with really casual and relax dress code. I rarely wear button down shirt to office. Most of the time just T Shirt or Poloshirt with blue denim and sneaker. I feel like I am "overfragranced" for the dress (or "underdressed" for the fragrance?) lol. So end up I only wear this fragrance for special occasions, for now. But maybe it will change, maybe...

Unfortunately I've fallen out of love with this over the years. It's a powdery vanilla bomb with that infamous lipstick accord Dior is known for. Still, I'm glad it hasn't been discontinued. DHO is the best men's iris frag. More women should definitely wear this.

After smelling about 200 fragrances i can confidently say this is the best i have ever tried. Classy, rich, incredibly unique, and a perfect confidence boost. That woody warm seductive iris DNA is elite. Absolutely perfect.

Best date or going out fragrance - ideally dressed up but even a white t shirt works. My confidence fragrance, just smells class and luxury like. Lasts 8-12 hours and projects well for 3 hours then becomes moderate. Woody, lipsticky iris but done well, blended to perfection and the cedar helps to keep it masculine. Sex in a bottle 10/10, best designer frag ever made

I just ordered mine recently i wanted a good office wear. It smells really good just like a baby powder iris is strong but pleasing to nose it is kinda addictive lasts around 4 hours nd than turns into a skin scent

I find it perfectly unisex, or in any case a bad a.. woman could wear this perfectly 😜

Well i bought a sample set of this one recently, my first impression are its a woody note of ambrette on the base of Iris note. I think its best floral woody perfume i ever had since now. It doesn't projects for too long, only for 1 - 2 hrs after spray it becomes weak but holds the smell composition as best. Totally worth if you are a intense floral lover

The opening smells like wet earth, and I really like that. I’ve tested it on skin multiple times at Sephora just because I can’t quite believe what I’m smelling.

I have to say this fragrance for sure is the real life version of the Axe Body Spray effect, as I like to call it this i used to a dance and a girl smelled it and was all over me and later on that night she told me she can still smell it. Dior Homme Intense is a very memorable, mesmerizing scent highly recommend it

A powdery vanilla scent. A scent of orris butter. It lasts a long time and has great sillage. It’s almost identical to previous versions. I love the bottle design. 10/10
