J'Adore Infinissime

I got this as a sample with my diorissimo edp and immediately fell in love with it, feels very unique and feels like such a good mix of yellow, white, and green notes. It's much more tolerable for me than original j'adore (which I love on others, just not on me) I'm sad that it's already been discontinued, I had to get a backup since this is one of my favorites!

This is one of my favorite fragrances, and it almost always make people compliment it or ask what I'm wearing. Does anyone know if it's discontinued?

another fabulous perfume in itself, not as a generic flanker of j'Adore. of the first version I had the perfume and it was too light for me. there is no such danger with THIS fullbodied, wonderful, eternal enfleurage dissipating perfume. in the closed box I could smell the tuberose. (de Grasse and in 'Partenariats' with some farmers in the South of France.). all the flowers at once to my nose and yet all the flowers discernable. the tuberose up front, the rose, the jasmine sambac, the ylang-ylang and I didn't detect explicitly the lily of the valley. perhaps much in unison with the jasmine and tuberose. this is a perfume you're proud you're wearing it then and there. you WILL get noticed but although it has some reminiscence to Giorgio (which I will love forever), it is a French perfume. chic, dramatic, not entirely over-the-top. but oh so sophisticated. and it is also pure quality. they braid this story of eco-consciousness, sustainability, with the entertaining of the partenariats conscious of the environment etc., etc. I believe it and at the same time I know this is so luxurious, it is still a guilty pleasure. in fact the only ADORE I love. (as madonnatella) this is the one for me. like 'misslovechocolate' I never were such a fan of the initial 'J'Adore'. once I tried a 'J'Adore d'Or', I think it was called. i.e., bought it. but it was still too light for me. the fact that Charlize Teron again and again steps out of glitzy pools with a golden mermaid dress starts to annoy me. she is a beautiful woman but try a black woman for once ! I feel the 'J'Adore' perfume is the real pendant to Chanels 'Gabrielle', not that stupid 'Dior in Joy' or 'Joy in Dior'. I however was never afraid this perfume would rob Jean Patous 'Joy' from its place. but back to the 'J'Adore Infinissime'. already with the first whiff, I guess when it came out, I knew this was the one. I have many perfumes and suddenly yesterday, I thought, I will 'wear her'. oddly enough and to my greatest content, the first note I smelled was that of the Rose. roses are my favorite flowers but I have a huge penchant for white flowers too. I have the feeling Olivier Polge did the same with the Chanel Tubéreuses de Grasse in 'Gabrielle (Essence)' as François Démachy did, here, with the Dior Tubéreuses de Grasse in the majestic 'Infinissime'. they gave this 'Carnal Flower' a Parisian dignity, subduedness, a 'Hauteté. this was again a perfume I smelled when I opened the box and everything, the flacon, was still closed. also strange is that I like really bad white flowers with dirty undertones. they have intoxicating, bewitching features, to lure the moths of the night. but a friend on Facebook learned me that they also have pissy and sometimes even fecal undertones, to also lure flies, if the moths are dreaming. yet whatever may be the case, Chanel and Dior like their perfumes pristine and regal. (let us forget for a moment Poison, one of my favorite perfumes of all time). Miss Dior had that austere, ladylike 'air' of a Parisienne. yesterday the fullbodied perfume hovered around me and it was very pleasant. it is a rich and velvety perfume with a noticable présence but not like Poison and Giorgio (I still love them to death), yet exceptional enough to stand out just because of the superior talents of monsieur Démachy. Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Rose and Lily of the Valley make for a flowery perfume. the sandelwood gives the perfume a solidity, a calmness. Oh how I love these flowers.....

For anyone familiar with the classic and endlessly duplicated J’adore, this is not that. Infinissime is really its own fragrance, but the way modern fashion houses work is they live and die by flankers to artificially inflate sales of a fragrance. I would never associate this with J’adore, it just doesn’t seem to contain any of the identifying characteristics of the original. The main notes are tuberose and ylang ylang. It’s a much stronger and more confident sensuous femininity as opposed to the original J’adore, which is hyper feminine with sharp florals. If you like Chanel N°5, Fracas, Carnal Flower, or Du Sens, you will like this. The Tuberose in N°5 is overpowered by aldehydes, Fracas has a more fruity aspect, Du Sens leans brighter and more floral, this tuberose is more creamy. I really like the tension tuberose creates. It’s one of the few florals that, to me, could never smell masculine but it is still “powerful”. It’s creamy and has depth the way sandalwood or patchouli ADD depth, but this has it as part of its DNA. The ylang-ylang gives it a touch of mystery and hedonism. While I wouldn’t necessarily say this smells “expensive”, it absolutely smells like something a rich woman would wear.

WHOOOWW, Its literally heavenly, there is some note in the end that sort of rings it out and it’s insane like floating on clouds. Loved this one I wonder what the original or L’or is like when this is one is this insane, need to try them.

I'm a huge white flower lover so I fell in love instantly, such elegant and comforting smell. Perfect for a date or a wedding, I'm sure it will turn heads, but it's not too cloying for casual wear either. Maybe a little too strong for the office though. This is by far my favourite J'adore scent. Very sad that it's getting discontinued, so I had to stock up with a 50ml.

Works with white/cream outfits - easy to feel mature so I make sure to incorporate some slaggyness to the outfit to counter it.

Honeyed blood orange and creamy jasmine. So beautiful. I wanted to get another backup 100ml and I believe it's totally discontinued in my area. It's also gone from dior's site.

This is a bright, elegant, smooth perfume that is appropriate for any time of year or occasion. This is a classy perfume very worthy of being a signiture scent. This is very much a white floral fragrance, but the citrus provides a bright edge and the sandalwood really smooths it out - well blended without being too harsh. Very pretty and feminine. This is one of my most complimented fragrances.

Beautiful, classy, elegant. The main notes in here to my nose are tuberose, cashmeran, a very woody and dry sandalwood and I feel like I’m getting some Lily of the valley as well. It’s totally different from the original, but in the best way. I give this a 10/10. Great job, Dior.

This has a very dominant jasmine note that reminds me of Alien EDP but it’s not as polarising

I love tuberose and all notes so I thought this will be mine Jador, but I don’t like it at all it’s very old fashioned, so far I love only original Jador.

Not a review, but a practical question: I saw these on a shelf in a perfume shop, but also in 30 ml volume, even though this page says it's available in 50 and 100 ml only. Moreover, one of those 30 ml boxes was a bit different, with extra information that says Eau de Parfum Intense. Is it legit? And was there a different batch and concentration of the Infinissime launch?

UPS just delivered this & although the bottle was cool, the liquid is warm. This smells so good! This is what I have always imagined a winter floral would smell like: warm, soft, sophisticated, sensual, not screechy/ sharp at all. I am sure this is wearable AYR. I’m really not interested in breaking down the notes because I just want to enjoy this comforting bubble I am in! With that being said, I can’t help to notice some musk when I smell my skin and a bubble bath / bubble gum. But it’s far from a juvenile sweetness. DIOR J’aDore keeps delivering & I do not feel that I just keep buying the same scent over and over.

I have been on a serious tuberose bender, as I hoped to locate my perfect "tuberose-centric" fragrance. For unknown reasons, I've fallen in love with the note(s) of tuberose. My current top three tuberose loves are Vilhelm "Moon Carnival," Amouage "Love Tuberose" and Nishane "Tuberoza." These three fragrances are heavenly to me. Though, I woke one recent morning craving a mainstream, NON-niche, designer-line, uber-feminine fragrance. Went to Ulta to sniff around. And for whatever reasons, Dior J'Adore Infinissime and Lancome La Vie Est Belle called my name. Well, I left the store with a 100ml bottle of La Vie Est Belle. And not surprisingly, I tired of the fragrance within days of wearing it regularly. I couldn't get J'Adore Infinissime off my mind. So, I purchased a 100ml bottle online at a great price. Perhaps it's because my top three, tuberose-centered fragrances are second-to-none. But after wearing Infinissime for a bit, the perfume just isn't cutting it for me. I liked Infinissime in the store. But wearing it regularly is no-go. To my nose, Infinissime is VERY reminiscent of Armani Prive Rouge Malachite, or Molinard Tubereuse Vertigineuse, or Tom Ford Tubereuse Nue. And I do not like any of the aforementioned. All fragrances proved a bit "too green" and vegetal, for my tastes. J'Adore Infinissime is a friendly, green tuberose fragrance that is wearable and polite. J'Adore is exactly what I'd expect a high-end, mass-appealing, designer, white floral fragrance to smell like. Sadly, I'm disappointed with my full bottle purchase. I really do not need this perfume when I have so many other great smelling tuberose fragrances in my very modest perfume collection.

I got this scent as a sample, which I'm trying to finish up. This is definitely something I wouldn't typically wear, as I'm someone who generally prefers very sweet, girly, gourmand, slightly floral scents. First time I tried it on it just read grandma to me which likely is just because this is not my type of fragrance. Now that I've worn it a few times I can appreciate it a bit more for what it is, even though it's not for me. It's a very feminine, mature scent, comes across as clean, fresh, a bit creamy, mysterious. Very inoffensive, and something I could definitely wear to work. To me, it just doesn't blow me away, and it's an acquired taste. I was surprised to like it a bit more over time, kind of reminiscent of some soap bar maybe my mother used in my childhood, but I wouldn't reach for it myself. If you're not big on very sickly sweet scents like myself, this might be more up your alley.

doesn't read as sensual or romantic to me at all. it's nice and interesting but barely even j'adore at all. while i dislike the standard j'adore scent this is more likeable but less original to me.

It must be one of the most romantic scent that I have smelled to this point. The sweetness of this J'adore is somewhat alluring, comforting, making me want to smell it more and more. Ultra feminine, delicate, innocent, beautiful scent. I would say the longevity is slightly disappointing when compared to the original (which I also love deeply), as it disappears after a few hours on me.

In my opinion, this scent smells not even distantly related to the original J'adore- it is heavily floral and woody, no sparkly/juicy fruity notes in sight- I did not enjoy the opening phase, which lasted a good hour or two on me-- the pink pepper and bergamot were a little too sharp and heavy-handed for my taste, and the blood orange note is not at all apparent- soon, the ylang makes itself known, and this note has a mature, perfume- quality to it that is kind of like/dislike for me-- Hours later, though, the tuberose weaves an enchanting little cloud around me, and the dry-down becomes a lovely, subtle skin scent that makes the whole trip worthwhile-

I like this sooo much better than the original! The pink pepper and sandalwood makes me feel like this is a more sophisticated version. Don’t get me wrong, I also adore a floral, but there’s something about the original that just doesn’t jive with me, possibly the freesia. This has a more spicy floriental feel which happens to be a preference for me! This is bordering on a love for me, and I feel like this can be worn for any occasion, any season and time of day! Fabulous!

One of the rare jasmine-based perfumes I liked, there's some interesting freshness in it. The strong jasmine and tuberose notes are well balanced, a bit too strong and sweet at the beginning, but then the pink pepper takes the lead, together with something grassy and ozonic I can't put my finger on (certainly it's not among the listed notes). At the same time, something creamy but not too sweet appears. Unlike many similar perfumes, this one gives an impression of cleanness. Its weak sillage and decent longevity make it good for situations as business meetings; on the bad side, it is not sexy at all. I wouldn't call it grannyish, just mature. But if you look for a classy and not too overwhelming perfume, this is it.

The original J’adore used to give me a headache — probably the aquatic-ozonic blast in the opening. It felt sharp, synthetic, and cold. But Infinissime? It’s an entirely different creature. The opening hits with a creamy, almost caramel-like sweetness, even though there’s no caramel listed. Then comes the white floral wave — tuberose, jasmine sambac, and ylang-ylang — blended so well it’s hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. It leans floral-sweet, but never cloying. There’s a touch of fruit, nothing loud, just enough to round the scent. It’s feminine, yes — but not girly. This isn’t for teenagers. It’s elegant without being icy. No “CEO in a power suit who won’t make eye contact” vibes here. Just a well-crafted floral that finally gets J’adore right for me.

From the very first seconds, it clearly reveals itself as a tuberose and a sweet, bubblegummy kind of tuberose at that. This flanker stands quite apart from the rest of its line. It would’ve been better if it were a bit less sweet, but since I enjoy carnal tuberose and also indolic ylang-ylang, it actually worked well for me. It has a quality close to that of popular niche tuberose perfumes. As the fragrance develops, jasmine also begins to emerge. Satisfied! Overall, I liked it. Please don’t assume “I like J'adore, so I’ll like this too.” This is something different. The other flankers shared J'adore’s DNA; this one doesn’t. It offers incredible value for the price.

I enjoy this very much, however this is undoubtfully a fragnance suited for an older woman. My boyfriend said i smelled like a grandma when i wore it haha. Passing it to my mother

ive had this on my wishlist for the longest time, and now i have it but it just smells different from before. its no longer as rich or as sparkling. regret that $80 dollars i spent on a roller on

It's literally Lancôme Poême. If anyone is looking for an alternative, this is a great choice—soft, honeyed yellow florals.

Today it is very blood orange on me, with jasmine and ylang-ylang, and a bit of rose. I feel it on myself for 8 hours already. Last time it was all about tuberose and lily-of-the-valley. So it is a scent with many faces. In general it reminds me of neroli, I am surprised it is not listed. With the blood orange effect it is winning with Chance Eau Vive, as here the scent feels all-natural. Easy reach for spring and summer, without any doubt that I will feel good in it. But I am taking it down to like today as the original I love creates a bubble of sunshine around me and this just diffuses itself from my pulse point. It has a very pretty, honeyed-floral drydown detectable after 12 hours. If you want a change from the classic a bottle of this version will be a good choice. For me, between love and like because of the natural floral goodness that never tires.
