Its okay, its like love and hate relation with this perfume. At one time, I love it and next second I am hating this. Definitely a niche kind-a category perfume. They coffee note is exceptionally good but the lemon is ruining it. That's a niche level perfume in a designer bottle. However, in my opinion, they should remove that lemon and make it coffee heavy perfume with the hint of vanilla or caramel.

Анонім★★★★★

The hate this fragrance is getting seems ridiculous to me. Maybe it's because I'm an older guy, but I find this scent to be very enjoyable, warm, and inviting. It's definitely for cooler weather, but I'd wear this on a cool night in the Spring or Summer. The notes work really well together. None of them are overpowering or cloying. I don't understand the low rating. It may not be "beast mode" for younger people, but that's OK by me. An intimate scent is great!

Hmmmm......not sure...... It is odd... People on here have said niche, but at very least its not blind buy safe. It's not bad, it's just unusual, the lemon note is only there briefly, then you get the coffee and patchouli, and that's where it gets challenging. To me it comes off as earthy and mossy and I'm just not sure. I'll see how the day goes with it and update. update: the drydown is much nicer. Nothing special though and after an hour its virtually a skin scent so wouldn't recommend. It was £35 for 100ml so not complaining and I suppose it's a nice bottle.....🤷

Dry down smells like wee

This is one is so weird people love it and I hate it sprayed it on my hand all my friends were omg this smells divine so classy and when smell it I’m like this is disgustingly bad 😂

Анонім★★★★★

This might be one of my favorites! It’s that good. The coffee at the beginning makes me feel like I’m standing in a coffee shop. To me it’s fresh and not heavy or anything you could wear this pretty much anytime. Dry down is really good too

Hard to believe that this one has a perfume rating of 3.34. Good perfumes are loved by everyone, the true masterpieces though divide people - you even love it or hate it. This is an absolute masterpiece and niche quality, still flying under everyone's radar. It is the best perfume D&G released since the original Sicily - it took them nearly a quarter of a century. The Parfum version has nothing to do with this one, just a "panic" release to satisfy the taste of mainstream customers. As I said before, this will soon be discontinued and turn into a unicorn - just like the original M7, Gucci Envy, JPG Fleur du Male, etc.

this is by far the worst perfume i have ever brought in my life , its absolutely disgusting , my wife tolerates it she thinks its borderline acceptable i guess she is one of the 8 people on earth who can tolerate this smell ... dont buy it blindly , for me its in the do not buy list

Last year at Douglas after shopping, I got a D&G Devotion PH tester as a gift for my purchase, and decided to give it a try one night, and I fell in love. I'm a mild coffee addict, so I naturally fell in love with this. This gives me a hazelnut coffee vibe, which I dont understand why it gets so much hate. It's more of a dressy gourmand, rather than a youthful casual one.

This one's for the collectors and coffee lovers. Surprisingly, it really does smell niche quality, a truly bold and unique fragrance amongst the typical designer slop we've been getting. The only thing I've smelled that's remotely close to this is Green Stravaganza, but the resemblance ends at the coffee notes smelling vaguely similar. The scent itself is characterized by that lovely, dark coffee note, it smells quite vivid, in the same way the tea note smells in Imagination. The best part of this is how the lemon note intersects the coffee, they just contrast each other beautifully somehow. It never feels like a battle between the bright lemon and dark coffee-patchouli, instead more like a dance. The patchouli is very good too, I don't tend to really notice it in other fragrances, but I can easily pick it out and enjoy it here. Performance isn't too bad, but definitely less than you would expect for this sort of profile. The lemon is sadly quite short-lived though, its pretty much completely dissolved into the base by hour 2. I wouldn't call this mass appealing, but I wouldn't call it offensive whatsoever. If you own any Prada scents, the projection and sillage remind me of how they perform, so luckily someone would have to be pretty close to you to even really smell the gentle and enchanting aroma of Devotion in the air. Although its pretty dark and earthy, I think you can get away with this on cool summer evenings, or even in the office with light spraying. Devotion is versatile, but I think it would best be worn on a date, especially with a lovely lady who enjoys coffee. (who tf doesn't like the smell of coffee btw) This is an elegant, gentlemanly scent; I think a lot of the hate on this comes from younger reviewers, and I can understand this not hitting a home run for younger audiences. All in all, I'm genuinely impressed by this. For a designer scent, this truly feels unique and fragrances that don't smell like anything else in my collection get bonus points. Worth it at discounted prices.

I blind bought this fragrance and after reading reviews I began to get incredibly nervous about it. I've heard many reviews alot of them negative. I'm here to say I STRONGLY disagree with the negativity. This is an incredibly fresh smelling coffee scent but I only get coffee for a short 30 minuets or so but what comes after.... the dry down... STUNNING. I love woody, amber, spicy scents and own many of them. I bought this without the woody spicy patchouli notes in mind but it is the star of the show. This will go into my immediate rotation for years would absolutely recommend this to any aged male but a trully mature, distinguished scent.

bought a sample of this. I was really disappointed because I love coffee notes, especially the one in YSL Black Opium (a girl wearing that is so attractive to me). The coffee note in Devotion pour homme is not the bright, sweet coffee note I expected but a much more earthy and realistic coffee that fuses with the lemon, making it also fresher, so basically the opposite of what the coffee is in Black Opium. with that said, the scent is still decent, just not the best thing ever imo. After the coffee-lemon note disappears (I count them as one, as they are pretty much together the whole time they last) you are left with a nice patchouli skin scent. average projection that fades after not too long, longevity for the coffee-lemon is 2-3 hours max, the patchouli can last to 6 hours if not more, becoming very subtle as more time passes. definitely not a summer scent even if it has lemon, the patchouli and the earthiness of the coffee makes it not suitable for hot weather, but it could still be worn in cool summer evenings imo. overall not what I was hoping for, I will not but the full bottle.

I simply love this. There’s something really alluring and satisfying about spraying this one on. It’s a true three note breakdown. Maybe it’s in that simplicity? The fact that it can be had at a bargain is wonderful!

Анонім★★★★★

Not super beast mode or anything but a really really pleasant classy smell. Almost like a butterscotch dum-dum. Really impressed with how realistic the coffee note is. Wearable and not polarizing, nobody would get upset at you for wearing this fragrance. If you like the smell of coffee its blind buy safe, this is like a million times better than Amore Cafe by Mancera

Анонім★★★★★

I like it, no matter that all three notes together give fresh carrot smell, like you cut it for fresh sallad. :)

My Signature Scent, my daily driver, i will smell like this for half of the year at least. This fragrance is 100% me. This baby is my no.1 and nothing beats it. Fresh, citrusy opening that turns into a Cafe Romano. The coffee note is a green, raw coffee with the characteristic almost sweet earthiness that you find at a coffee plantation. Dries down into a masculine, fresh patchouli. This one has gotten me the most compliments and has become a part of my identity in the 1 month i have used it. This one is staying for a long, long time.

I tested this because I wanted to have the bottle, but this scent is not good. It's not bad, but it's neither good or ok, 🍋☕ lemon+coffee just clashes. It's unwearable. Why would you? That saying, it has an AMAZING cold refreshing vibe that's addictive, but this is under a nasty "wet coffee grounds from the day before" coffee note. They got the coffee note really wrong... unbelievable! On skin it's way better than on paper. On paper is unbearable, smells like dirt with lemon and moldy coffee grounds. After the time passes by, you are left with that AMAZING addicting freshness that's as if you smelled a cold breeze. Idk... It smells like a clean kitchen, not a man. 😅 Unisex. I'll might get the small bottle for the bottle design and the freshness. Update: Tested it on my skin on a very hot summer day and it smelled so refreshing and pleasant! I was craving it. Unisex, yes. I wish they'd make a flanker with this freshness minus the coffee note. On my father's skin: Dad: 4/10 (he didn't like it 😅). Mom: 5/10. It really disappears on my father's skin, you can barely detect it. On my skin they rated it exactly like that, too.

Hmmm, you can feel the coffee strongly in it. Only for about 30 minutes. Then the coffee goes on its way and remains a unisex to masculine, patchouli, herbal fragrance with a fresh citrus complement. That's about it. It seems to me below the feminine versions which are better built and have superior performance.

Анонім★★★★★

Probably my favorite masculine perfume in my collection. It's very fresh and citrusy without smelling like cleaning supplies at all. I don't get much coffee but I don't doubt that it's there. I usually don't like masculine scents because they all smell extremely similar to me but this one stands out!

Анонім★★★★★

This smelled so interesting on a test strip at Von Maur that I wrote my thoughts out then without reading any fragrance notes. I was first struck by a warm, slightly sweet, toasted nuttiness. Is it hazel? Nutmeg? There is also an a subtle, uplifting floral that strikes me as orange blossom or citrus zest, but it’s hard to parse. I’m intrigued and look forward to trying this on my skin one day. I’ve now tried it, and it’s all right, but it’s not for me. Lemon and coffee is a weird, clashing combination that I just don’t like. Similarly, I find the fresh lavender and orange blossom notes in combination with coffee mildly off-putting in MMM Coffee Break. I want coffee to be dark and roasty and nutty—not fresh. For a more harmonious and smoother take on the coffee–citrus combo, check out Akro Awake.

Same, I'm a woman a bought a bottle of it for myself since I love coffee fragrances!

Анонім★★★★★

Female here....saying I love this fragrance. Very simple. A little citrus but the main two notes are coffee and patchouli. It's warm and comforting and great! I would say this is unisex, not masculine.

Анонім★★★★★

I'm actually surprised by the low rating, out of many designer fragrances I've tried that came out recently, this was one of the ones that stood out to me. Now I've only tried it on scent strip (two times) at sephoria so I guess my experience with it is limited, but I liked it enough and found a good discount on it online (45 bucks for 3.4 ml) that I pulled the trigger. Looking forward to try it on skin. I'll reserve my rating until I do a full wearing. Edit: So apparently the fragrance I tried in sephora was the parfum, not the EDP. So I blind bought the EDP thinking it was a different profile lol. So it seems the parfum is more of a safer buy and a bit more typical compared to the EDP. I like both, but the EDP overall is probably the more interesting one of the two, as it is completely unique. I've never smelled anything like it and can see why it's not going to be for everyone. I'm really digging it though, at least so far, hopefully I don't get sick of it with more wears. Personally I think it's completely unisex, with maybe a SLIGHT masculine lean. I think this is good for fall, winter and maybe even spring.

Анонім★★★★★

It could be sin of typical or classic as Boucheron/Armani pour Homme, but It has a very fresh, relaxed feel. I don't like overly structured lemony scents like the ones I mentioned in the comparison, but this D&G fragrance could offer a refreshing alternative to the franchised, generic ones they've been producing. Comfortable and vibrant, truly lovely, but for a "lemon coffee" scent, I prefer Alfred Sung for Men. Despite its fresh lightness, this one is well-structured.

Анонім★★★★★

8.5/10 Isn't this a curious one! It is a simple, yet complex fragrance that is probably unlike anything in your collection. The coffee note was different than I expected; straight coffee bean rather than brewed coffee. And the mixture with the dry bitter lemon draws your attention off the spray, but the drydown is really where it shows both the polish of a designer and the complexity and dynamic transitions of a niche. The problem: it isn't a major projector or sillage machine and only lasts on my skin for a few short hours. But those who pick up the scent will recognize the quality and you can really overapply to get longer performance. That said, it's a reserved scent and I wish it popped with more intensity and lasted longer.

Анонім★★★★★

I just sampled this and didn't realize it was a male scent and it is now my favorite. Smells LOVELY! I am not into male scents, I feel like this leans a little feminine maybe more unisex. I don't smell any polarizing male drivers like Cedar/blue citrius blends/spicy leather...none of that. Just simple Barely there lemon and more coffee & patchouli vanilla base.

Анонім★★★★★

It's unbelievable why people don't like this scent. This is amazing; the first time you smell it, it seems kinda undecided and vague and this makes it alluring; it won't follow your expectations and each time it surprises you. The scent is new and kinda revolutionary; it is so calming. Unlike terre intense that has coffee and citrus while smelling like stone, this one smells really clean and clear not opaque, and the fact that coffee can smell that fresh and herbal, or that citrus can smell that hot (from coffee) is amazing. Overall the scent quality is 10/10. Design is great too. Performance is middle.

this is trying to be amyris homme by mfk, but fails. not a bad scent, blended kinda awkwardly. 6/10

Just arrived yesterday and I'm confused with this blind buy. It's surprisingly simple and doesn't have layers.. It's coffee with a little bit dirty and earthy openings. I do not get anything citrus even though it's written on the box. It actually has an obnoxious opening with metallic, earthy, dirty leaf note and then settles for a mild coffee brew. The the synthetic and plastic cold coffee brew starts to come out slowly. I don't think I like the first 30 minutes but it is settling better. I'll have to wear it all day to grasp the idea of it but I'm not sure so far. It's very confusing scent so far for me. I don't have regrets as I bought it at 50% discount.
