It's a scent I feel like you can only wear in the summer on vacation. Smells like coconut, pina coladas and sunscreen. Used to wear it a lot in the summer years ago, but can't seem to put it back on because it feels very childish now. Still a fun, nice scent though!

Creamy sweet and quite lovely. I can't see myself wearing it all the time for me personally, but it's pretty and smooth and even a little elegant, which can be surprising for coconut. I think it's the florals that support that elegance. Has a refined dry down that lasts and lasts, also. A nice, everyday kind of scent.

Smells like you are walking through a tropical garden at sunrise and fresh dew is covering all the yellow flowers. Sweet, aquatic, but balanced with a richness in the base. Perfect as an everyday fragrance when the weather is just starting to warm up and is ideal for the transition between spring and summer. Very feminine, leans croquette and girly, but not immature. I pick up on all the florals, including the magnolia, But the coconut is the star. The coconut is creamy like the icing on a coconut cake. It does not lean overtly tropical or sunscreen-like. I do not smell the mardarian or anything citrusy. The base is creamy from the almond milk and sandalwood with just a touch of vanilla. I would not describe this as a vanilla forward scent. Scent bubble and silage is intimate but it is more significant than a skin scent. Longevity is impressive. It’s one of those scents that you forget you’re wearing and then you flip your hair or move and you get a whiff of intoxicatingly creamy coconut. Dolce Garden was difficult to layer with, but it did work well with the Eso Coconut Waters and Palmer’s Tahitian Vanilla body lotions. I rated Dolce Garden an 8/10 because it’s versatile, affordable, has decent performance, and is unique scent profile for a fresh perfume. Dolce Garden is also an early example of Floral/gourmand combo and I have been really loving that profile lately.

Kind of a basic thick, creamy coconut summer gourmand. Maybe not as literally food like as some of the stuff out there now, but pretty sweet and edible in vibe. I wouldn't wear this in a professional setting, or any time I was keen be perceived as cool or sophisticated. That said, it's delicious and sometimes I really want to smell like this. Husband likes it.

Creamy warm coconut with vanilla and frangipani. The coconut and almond milk come forward first on me with the white florals following shortly after. I would say after the 3rd hour, the coconut takes the back seat and the frangipani/ylang-ylang emerges, the almond milk still making it nice and smooth. It is a nice fragrance for the warmer months. It’s a sunny, floral gourmand scent. Depending how you layer, you can emphasize the coconut or florals however you’re feeling. I think you should test this out before you buy (I do think it’s a safe blind buy but at first glance of the name Dolce Garden you might initially think it’s strictly floral without looking at the notes) Edit: will also say that it performs pretty well. We had a heatwave this weekend and it held up. I still got whiffs off it even after 6-7 hours

Enjoyable sweet scent for hot weather and beyond. Sweet, but tropical and airy, not cloying. I feel the exotic florals but the dominant impression is sweetness. Dolce means sweet and it delivers. Almonds dominate on me, with coconut coming second and frangipani third. Then I feel sandalwood and ylang. From time to time neroli shows. I had little interest in it thinking it will be floral and weak but it is actually very on trend, feminine and a sweet delight that lasts very well. Fragrantica advertised this one well in one of the articles and so I bought my first Dolce. It does not remind me of garden, but sweet dessert in a garden. Does not seem to change much during wear, but it is complex enough not to be boring. I feel it on for 6 hours in 20°C weather. Perfect for daywear. In the evening I did not like it as much.

Despite some not so good reviews, this is one of the very few sweet fragrances that are 100% warm weather appropriate to me! If you want a summer fragrance that's not citrussy or aquatic, this is your best bet! It's a creamy coconuty floral with some powderiness that gives off a clean vibe. It smells so young and ethereal! The smell is almost tropical to me, but not in that classic fruity way - maybe it's the coconut or idk. It also lasts pretty long despite not being an "in your face" fragrance! I'm not much into gourmands and this has a gourmand HINT or NUANCE but i think it's absolutely beautiful and even floral lovers like myself would really like this one!

No coconut, just very perfumey floral heavy frag, nothing even remotely summery for me here 🙁It was a blind buy and a huge mistake for me 😭 At first there is some synthetic sweetnes, but flowers just take over the front row in a matter of minutes, then it’s all flowers. Also smells kind of dated, like a very basic floral mature perfume.

This is super basic and bland. Whenever i spray it on I feel like I can barely smell it and it disappears in literally 30 seconds. It’s good for summer if you don’t wanna stand out too much but other than that I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy this as i received this as a gift.

unimpressive bitter floral 00s smell

Did they change the formula of this? I've been using this perfume for years now and I recently got another bottle from Sephora and the perfume was orange on colour rather than the usual light pink colour. It also doesn't last as long and I wondered if something changed🤔 Maybe a bad batch?

To me this takes me back to the summer I've went to Vienna when I was 18. Back then I only had the tester size, being a student I didn't have a budget for the full. You know, during your teenage years you try to hold onto small things and make big deals out it. This fragrance reminds me of that youthful and cheerful brightness. Whenever I smell it, reminiscing covers my body like a hug from the young version of yourself you haven't seen in so long in the mirror. It's playful, and one of the few fragrances with coconut and frangipani that doesn't smell like a sunscreen. (a big pet peeve of mine) It's very feminine effortlessly; and if you are not fond of yellow floral scents that smell like straight up polen porn in your nose - this is it. Very versatile in a way you can wear it all year around and it will adapt to the weather. Warm enough for chillier nights but radiant for dog days as well. ; The sillage follows you around as you storm around a new city - making memories that'll reside bittersweet in your mind not because your juvenile confidence will have you make mistakes, but because even those mistakes will remind you of the good but long gone times of your life. Call it simple, but there's a certain charm to its modesty. Summer in a bottle to my nose - for those who have beef with ylang ylang but want a summer fragrance that isn't clean musky and still socially acceptable anyway.

This smells so similar to Mugler Star Croisiére 2020. I love it!!

Анонім★★★★★

It’s super wearable like that kind of scent you can throw on for brunch, work, or a casual day out and still feel put together without trying too hard 😌 it’s giving fresh, cheerful garden energy effortless and uplifting 💐☀️

Some fragrances are just meant to make us smile and this one certainly does it for me. I really love it. It smells like the aftermath of a tropical downpour when it's literally just stopped raining and steam is rising from the hot ground after being hit by the rain. Tropical flowers, creamy coconut, warmth and sweetness. It's not cloying but it's heavy in the way I love. I'd wear this on the beach. This mixed with salty skin is going to be really good. Headturner, compliment grabber, sexy. If you niche snobs want to argue amongst yourselves about it. I'll be in the tropics smelling amazing thank you!

Анонім★★★★★

I don't understand all the bad reviews . This is one of those fragrances I wish I smelt sooner. It's ethereal, girly and sweet without being childish. It's the perfect spring and summer scent. I don't pick up any coconut which I was looking forward to as I love coconut. However the magnolia is prominent with underlying almond and vanilla . The magnolia isn't overpowering (granny smelling) . It's light . For the price this is surprisingly nice fragrance

After lusting after this forever... I went on a cruise and they gave me on board credit , so I was able to get a full bottle in the gift shop.I was beyond excited! Didn't even get a chance to wear it and it got stolen from a home invasion 😭😭😭! I haven't mustered up the courage to buy another bottle.

This is such a confusing, headache inducing scent. It’s white florals with green florals with coconut and it smells like cotton candy. It’s like candied florals. With a weird caramel undertone. Hard pass.

Анонім★★★★★

This is so cute. If I were a different person and wanted to wear the same fragrance every day this would be a good pick - it’s different but still appealing to most people I think. As far as designer mass market fragrances go I think in general I like D&G the best for women’s fragrances as they seem to me to be the most overall unique (meaning there’s not one that HEAVILY reminds me of something else currently marketed or that had been mass popular in the past). This fragrance is very warm and feminine, sweet and floral but the floral is only just a touch. Mostly I get a beautiful warm coconut almost bready vibe with some sweetness. And the bottle is so cute. I don’t love every single scent in this line but this one is for sure a hard like.

Анонім★★★★★

Creamy, tropical, sweetly soft and easy summer scent - it has no woods to tone it down so make sure you don't spray more than once or twice

Анонім★★★★★

i don't smell the orange, but all the other notes are there. a yellow tropical floral, def frangipani, also smells like a freshly cut papaya, it has a bit of a sweet rotten smell, in a good way, if that makes sense. the coconut is not realistic, more like a sweet, perfumed suntan lotion coconut, which i like. longevity is around 4hrs.

This scent is very bipolar. You either love it or hate it. What was once cloying and gaggy has become a smell l associate with old memories and make new ones with. I gifted this to my friend Elita. Suddenly she passed so now I'm left with it. So it grew on me, but it's not a safe blind buy. It's not fresh tropical like their shine, yellow bottle, which I consider a safe one.

Анонім★★★★★

Loved how this started —white florals, vanilla, and coconut. Sadly, as someone else mentioned, the dry down is similar to BR540 and Cloud- ruined it for me. I wish they'd stop putting ambroxan in everything.

Анонім★★★★★

It is tropical, creamy, coconut and floral, in that order. It feels watery or aquatic although no marine notes are listed. It's just okay. My husband just said "it smells good in here" after two small sprays of this lol. I have to underspray or else it can be cloying. I decluttered the beautiful bottle awhile ago, but decided to try again. I now have a decant that I might keep around to add a little variety and when I want that feeling of summer vacation.

I made the mistake of getting rid of this perfume because I wanted the more spicy exotic scents, what a mistake! I just reordered this because the scent makes me so happy, especially in the winter when I’m missing summer. It’s sweet and creamy. It smells like your Cleopatra and you’re bathing in a tropical oasis of milk and flowers. Never again will this leave my collection!

Анонім★★★★★

Sorry , its cloying and cheap smelling. 😢

Анонім★★★★★

The bottle certainly doesn’t match the scent This is hardly floral but it’s still delicious It’s very much a gourmand. A floral gourmand. A milky tart flower but very very milky and almond y. I kinda like it but it may be sickly to some. I have to be in the mood for this. Think blanch bette or taskeen lactea divina minus the incense but with added tart fruits and florals

Sprayed my sample of this on my other shoulder. Just one spritz. It smelled what I feared it would, and this is going to sound snobby but I’m just gonna say it, generic AF. It smells like a bunch of other scents I’ve smelled before in that price point by Prada or Dior or Chanel, not unique at all. I will of course give it a fairer shot another day, but it just smells like a bunch of sweet and fruity florals, something that a tween/teen girl would like, wear as their signature scent. It isn’t special, but it doesn’t smell bad. It’s just not something I’d wear, and I take it probably doesn’t cost a lot in contrast to higher end ones by the Dolce line just like Gucci alchemy line and Chanel’s exclusifs, but would think one of the similar priced pointed Gucci perfumes like their newer gardenia one or the vanilla orchard is far better than this (the later being more vanilla centric, this is just too fruity - what I imagine Ralph Lauren perfume 90s girls wore that smelled like all the Chanel Chances- very little diversity, just diff bottles and marketing). I ordered Sunshine too, maybe that will smell better, but don’t have high hopes. Scent aside, the bottles are pretty, but also a gimmick for the tweens eating this up.

Dolce Garden is sweet, creamy lactonic, and a little powdery~ I do get a lot of coconut and frangipani immediately, and it can get screechy depending on how much you apply! (I've had a dab-on mini bottle and the full size, the spray is much lighter and that's appreciated lol it can give me a headache in high doses) Over time, it gets creamier and more lactonic ^^/ There's a nutty warmth throughout the whole weartime~ I do wish it was a bit brighter? The mandarin is pretty non-existent on me.. But if I think of it as creamy, heavy florals, rather than fresh florals, its easy to let that go Its a seductive floral instead of a playful one.. Its the scent of a lady with perfectly pouty lips, a touseled bun, and pointed stilettos~ It feels too grown for a miniskirt? But the classic dark palettes of D&G clothing are a perfect fit~ Due to the heavier aspect, I reach for this less in the heat! Spring and fall are when I typically reach for it, but if you don't mind "tropical" notes in the winter, the warmth it emits would be great then too~

Victoria’s Secret Velvet Petals Untamed smells very similar and I also get a similarity from Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense, more in the initial spray than the dry down.
