This gives manic pixie dream girl. This has a zillion notes, but what fronts for me is sweet white flower (I can definitely sense the tuberose and jasmine - a fantastic combo), unspecified fruitiness, and definitely musk. Very, very pretty and super feminine. If you have a delicate feminine aesthetic, such as cottagecore or Japanese lolita, this would be perfect for you. And you can't beat that price.

There are great scent descriptions below to which I won't add more of the same. What I have noticed is a growing love, which seems weather dependant. Summer spritzing reveals a pleasant enough scent, but in mild, drier weather ET is more evident via irregular, and surprising, though courteous, reminders of a delicate and luxe ally, much like a favourite pet might move her paw towards you as if to say, I'm still here and it's nice hanging with you. No crowding, no demands for attention or olfactory overload, instead it's a pleasing experience of nuanced and clever perfumery, that undulates through the day.

I bought this because I have been on a poison-esque kick of liking spiced plum+floral notes and this one is beautiful especially with the addition of peach. It is much more “mature” and lighter/airy-er than Poison with more complex blends of different florals. Smells like a rich old lady’s closet, but in a good way.

I love this scent. The first time I got this perfume was Mother's Day 2019 from my aunt, and it's been my favorite perfume ever since. It's not an "old" scent, or a "little girl" scent. I've always described it as it smells like what a woman should smell like. An adult woman, mature, sophisticated, in her prime. It smells so good, I wear it year-round and get compliments all the time. I will probably never ever get tired of this perfume. I am extremely sensitive to smells, especially perfumes. I get a horrible migraine if a perfume is too strong or is too chemical-y. This perfume is not overpowering, but is not so light that you can't smell it. It's very affordable, and using the same bottle every day 1-2 times per day, (I rarely have to re-apply it!) lasts me well over 8 months. What it smells like to me is woody, floral, musky, powdery, and I can sometimes get the hints of peach and plum throughout the day. Definitely worth the price, and I have re-bought this many times.

I guess there’s a reason that I don’t reach for this as much as when I first bought it. I purchased it for the stone fruit Orris & Amber Sandalwood and Oakmoss notes which appear to be quite noticeable on the notes pyramid. What I get is green, citrus, florals and MUSK. I’m pretty sure this has become an IFRA victim and would smell beautiful in an older bottle as the notes look like a full figured fragrance that I should enjoy. Its use has been downgraded to a linen and room spray. Sometimes it’s not “Better Late than never!”

A pretty, gentle scent. Floral and baby powder but sweet. Doesn’t spread around it throws gentle. I love this fragrance! Perfect for casual floral clean perfume lovers on a budget! Competes with my moschino for choice

Very tart but mature-smelling perfume, think of something akin to 2010's Dillards in that kind of sparkly gold type of way... good mix of powdery, citruses, musk, and *vague* patchouli (probably from the mix of all the other notes.) I like it! Smells like an office woman. Does have some bitter notes akin to cucumber on the initial spray but once it dries these disappear.

This is a warm, powdery fragrance. It’s gorgeous. Very clean and relaxing. Great for the price

This smells like a luxurious lotion. There's something in the performance of this that smells very, very creamy. It's woody, but very soft and pretty in personality. There's a lot going on with the notes, but it's all very well blended. On my skin it's a creamier, soft spicy scent. A smooth and soft blend primarily of: peach, plum and tonka on me. The cinnamon and orris are also really nice in this too. It's a little greener, aldehydic and more floral on a test strip to my nose. I had to reapply 3 hours in and it brings out the florals more on my skin: more rosy, and the tuberose is more pronounced (which I love). To me, this doesn't smell like Tresor or Champs Elysee. BUT if you like those you would probably enjoy this as a light, easy grab. It smells like you're put together and clean. I have a bottle from Palm Beach Beaute, made in Turkey. Reminds me of something from Jil Sander or maybe Hugo Boss--I'd have to dig and see if I can recall what. Try it if you want to smell pampered, enjoy the notes above, and don't want to spend more than $10. Due to its poor longevity on me***, I don't think I'll pick up another bottle even at that price point. Must overspray to get a soft cocoon to carry you through the day. ***UPDATE: on a test strip, this lasted 4+ DAYS! It's lovely but doesn't perform the same on me. I'll keep trying though. ***2nd Update: This turned out to be a go-to for days needing a quiet cozy reset. It's perfect!

I noticed in the "Cons" section that one point is "dry down ruins initial pleasant notes" and I think I must have the complete opposite scent interpretation of whomever thought so! It's one of those BIG-smelling fragrances at first spray (to me anyway). But I'm sitting here, 5 hours after spraying it, and it's just such a soft, non-sharp musk now. And I love musks. This is nice.

Анонім

I got my hands on an older version (batch 0001) and the peach note in this is so nice. Fresh stone fruit outside. The musk in this is not for me, but this is very well made especially for the price.

A true KNOCKOUT. One of the few fragrances that my hubby actually compliments me on! Amazing quality at a great price point. This smells much more elegant than the price would suggest. I love it…lasts all day long. Another one that is miles above what’s being released today with ridiculous prices and non-existent notes. Stop tha CAP! Straight up compliment magnet, too.

Анонім

Too powdery… my grandma would love this scent though!

Reading some of the other reviews, it's amazing how the scent differentiates according to different people's chemistry as well as their olfactory senses. I have this in a set and use the shower gel and body lotion before applying the spray, and it has lasted me well past an entire work day. I find it very appealing for when I want something soft, non migraine aggravating, crowd pleasing and suitable even for bedtime. On me, I can smell the plum and the cinnamon and the other scents pop in and out during the course of a day. I get compliments on it every time I wear it, which I am today, and been complemented twice so far. It has a smoothness to it and subtly comforting. Can't beat the price point, especially when you want to spray with abandon. It's classy, soothing and a little sexy.

So I have this one but I don't wear it. My opinion is biased as well...My Grandmother gave it to me after I lost my perfume (and everything else) in a flood. I thanked her and as soon as i smelled it.... clean and powdery and flural. But the very first memory I have of smelling this was around age 7 and my Grandmother was driving me to her house coming back from a Christmas party singing to the Christmas Rado music. This perfume reminds me of good simpler times. I understand why some might think it smells old ...and I agree but in the best possible way.

Lovely soft floral, woody scent. Smells clean without laundry/soap/shampoo vibes - more like fresh air and dewy flowers and peaches on a slightly cool morning. I don’t get a powdery note here - and I adore powder, but I do get an aquatic note. This perfume reminds me of Britney Spears’ Curious. ET is suitable in the same all-occasion, daytime framework as Curious. It doesn’t have the extremely impressive longevity that Curious has on my skin, but ET lasts a good 6 hours or more depending on how much I apply and stays a really long time on clothes. ET also has a touch of spice, which is really nice rounded out with the raspberry. Altogether very pretty, understated, and very easy to get along with when you just want to smell lovely in an unobtrusive, enjoyable, tasteful way. I confess that I kind of fell in love with this and with Ellen Tracy Bronze, which is truly gorgeous. There’s something about each of them that just speaks to me. I also love the heavy glass, elegant bottle designs. Very minimalist, ancient Egyptian, and a tad Art Deco. I enjoy seeing them.

I LOVED this! My mother-in-law gifted me the fragrance candle of this that was available in her store, since she worked at a fragrance counter at the PX, she had first dibs on left-over gifts. My whole place was filled with this intoxicating fragrance and and I fell head-over-heels in love with it so I went out and bought the 3.4 oz EDP. I think it's more woody and quite potent. Somewhat reminiscent of 80's perfumes, the REALLY GOOD ones, and which I actually prefer. Very sophisticated and almost unisex but a bit too gorgeous for most guys to pull off. I think you can go almost anywhere with this one and smell like a certain level of wealth and luxury. A compliment-getter too. I can't believe how inexpensive it is now. I better stock up!

This is a very unique scent. I have tried and owned 100s of perfumes, but have never come across any other scent similar to it. It is very feminine, sweet, powdery, musky, woody. I wear this to office, but it's perfect for evening wear as well.

80's flasback!! Wow so this smelled like every item that was scented for woman available in the mall counters. Estee lauder, Gurlain, Chanel...etc... Funny how things change this was before niche was a thing. People didn't think anything about sillage, longevity , or notes. This was what was available and we bought it and we all smelled the same. This perfume is great to me because it's nostalgic. It reminds me of chanel gardenia with a little sand and sable but with aldehydes and carnation very popular notes back then. Except this whispers I can barely hear it. Almost as if they took a drop of oil to make it an edp concentration. I can smell gardenia in this. I see tuberose but no, I'm getting gardenia. Its light but to perfumy to be Shampoo scent.I detect no cinnamon in my bottle the spice is comming from the Jasmine. It's great if you have friends and family that dislike perfumes ,I don't believe you would insult them with this one. You do need to get past the alcohol blast at the top then it settles into the fragrance. Pretty linear. Outlet stores have these very cheap worth a try.very pleasant.😉 God bless!

Kind of smells like visiting another family's bathroom: Exquisite, expensive, juicy shampoo lingering in the water vapor from the mother's shower The grandmother's expired perfume leaking into the ancient musty wooden cabinet Maybe some minty mouthwash and red cough syrup And yes, some faint indolic poopiness you try not to notice.

I got this as a new years gift, and tried to like it but never succeseded. I got suprised when i saw this labeled as woody, on me, this smells like soap, like litreal soap, it was a disapointment because I love woody scents, but this one just smells like soap, not worth it.

I am not familiar with the vintage yet, so I leave my review for the modern Ellen Tracy (made in China). It opens with notes of garden cloves with sourness, crumbles with sweet rose petals, and leaves lemon powder in the sillage. Fortunately, there are no powdered notes of that type that can be found in laundry detergent (as in classic fragrances such as White Diamonds or Design). I really liked the fragrance, it creates a cloud of expensive grooming around.

Анонім

I get quiet luxury for cheap. It smells like Prada tweed jacket and skirt. Sophisticated and rigid young girl with high earning job and a sweet smile. Powdery gentle flowers. For the price it's incredible.

I bought this blindly-- many months ago. I wore it for the first time on Saturday while mostly lounging around the house. I was turned off by this fragrance's harshness, as I smelled the atomizer and sprayed the cap. I decided to layer it with Sean John's Unforgivable Woman Body Mist and Bath and Body Works Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Body Cream. This was a wonderful combination that added a lovely, feminine mystique! Layering these three added Marshmallow-y, amber-y, and a sandalwood-y depth--with the perfect touch of Ellen Tracy's fruity notes. This is why I promote layering before selling or gifting disliked fragrances. At times, layering can bring out the best in all fragrances involved, while creating a fragrance totally unique to you. Also, it helps that my husband loved this combination--he could not stop smelling my wrists. Those of you who do not care for Ellen Tracy, please try layering it. It works like a charm!

I like it. This smells like an expensive moisturizer like Lancôme how they add that flowery scent to their creams and the scent is about as long lasting as that but I got it for 89¢ so I’m not going to complain about that. It’s just an inoffensive light smell you can put on after the shower or just for the fact to wear something. I’ll probably layer it as a body spray to Chanel No 5 to compliment it.

Анонім

This smell is so comforting, my favorite bed time scent.

Анонім

I thought this would be a cold weather scent but it's so dang light it's almost non existent. Finally in some summer heat I can smell something! It's fruity and dries down immediately to a very light scent. I really don't get what everyone else is oohing and awwing about unless they have vintage bottles cuz this is hardly a body spray and I'd never buy it again since it does not perform at all, not even minutes of goodness at the beginning. It's just too faint, like water with a drop of an essence that fades instantly. Nothing to ohh or awe about at all. Literally worse performance than a dollar tree perfume. The notes look so promising but it's not a winner.

Reviews are about as scattered as the list of ingredients. However, she is pretty just the same. I actually started wearing this over a decade ago after smelling it in a grocery's bargain bin. Those moments are like finding a winning ticket on the ground after a horse race. Amongst the 26 boasted notes: 5 different fruits ranging from berry to citrus and stone to spice, there are 12 different types of flora, 2 selections of wood, some root structure and a few well placed dollops of modern aldehydic chemistry. It's enough to make your head spin. Ellen Tracy is a bold female voice, unbelievable in price, and I know this may seem absurd to some readers, brilliant right out of the gate. By the time you reach the heart, and the perfume has reached its apex of charm, character notes become soft and warm - sophistically tender. This is the layer that seems to come up wanting with other smell-a-likes. This is the smell of a woman who commands her life, but always makes time for others. This is the professional who leads from the front, or the mother who whispers in place of a shout. This is also, always at the ready in my home, to don for my own comfort. And at these prices, it's quite plainly, a gift!

This is one of those scents that NEEDS to settle to be appreciated. Honestly the notes are a cluster fuck, but once it develops, the scent is delicious. Powdery, sweet, mildly heavy from the plum and oakmoss, but you definitely get the light, fruity, and feminine notes from the citrus and berry to round it out. Very well balanced despite the 800 notes, and just a very pleasant, everyday scent for anyone who wants something more mature but not outright elderly. Edit: Did an official wear test, and amazingly enough, this has amazing longevity! It lasted an entire 8+ hour shift on me skin, and over 11 hours on my clothes. I'm so glad I snatched this up when I got the chance

Cheap classic for those trying new perfumes on a budget. There are worse options, but I find this just okay. It is very GREEN -- the color entered my head as soon as I tried it out -- but I didn't find it quite the neat, clean scent that greens usually are. It's a tad stuffy, a little too straitlaced, and all the notes feel a little crowded and appearing at once instead of taking their time to appear. I got the very strong image of those older ladies who would work or volunteer at public schools, helping you find library books or get to your class, and I was also reminded of stumbling out to the playground and smelling the freshly-cut lawn that wreaks hay fever on the unprepared. Overall just a very polite, conservative, inoffensive and very mature fragrance, but disappointing that all those lovely notes didn't get their chance to shine.
