Molecule 01 + Iris

Some perfumes ask to be noticed. This one simply asks to be worn. When I first sprayed Molecule 01 + Iris, I thought it was beautiful - but I had no idea it would become part of me. It didn't try to impress me. It patiently waited until I noticed the little moments: a soft whisper on my sweater, a delicate breeze catching my hair, a quiet reminder that it was still there. Day after day, it became less of a fragrance and more of a feeling. The iris is clean, airy and almost weightless, wrapped in a transparent warmth that feels like skin rather than perfume. It never hides who I am; it gently reveals it. This isn't the fragrance I wear when I want to become someone else. It's the fragrance I wear when I want to feel most like myself. Some perfumes are unforgettable because they make an entrance. This one is unforgettable because, one day, you realize it has quietly become home.

I didn't know I loved Iris until now. It's linear, of course, but there's no shortage of interest. Super soft, lightly powdery, creamy but airy. It's gorgeous when a breeze catches it. It doesn't beg for attention, but it will enchant someone nearby. I truly adore it. I wore it to sleep last night and craved more when I woke in the morning. It doesn't have an ever-present density, but provides sweet wafts intermittently. It is indeed simple, but oh so very elegant. My only complaint is Escentric Molecules' atomizers. I'm batting zero with them. No spray, just spurt.

It’s quite sweet and creamy on my skin, but still refined, expensive, elegant. It has a nice texture, but still too one-dimensional for my taste. It reminds me of fancy, air conditioned, shopping malls, or those branded shops that have dark minimalist interior. It would work nicely for someone working in corporate / formal settings

On me this smells like a spicy margarita! It’s quite vegetal. There’s definitely a sawdust note, which could be off putting to some. And I definitely get carrots. That said, nothing about M+ Iris is bad! It’s a strange one, but worth trying. Not sure if I like it, but I think iris and florals just aren’t for me.

Molecule 01: The launcher that forces the scent to project. + Iris: The luxury element that adds a clean, powdery, expensive vibe. The result: It smells like rich, buttery wood and crisp, freshly ironed linen. I layer this with my iris fragrances from time to time.

This is a simplified Infusion D'Iris. Very sterilized, dry, cotton-wool like iris. I do like it in a way, but it is so barren, it's honestly a bit depressing.

As someone who hasn't found an iris fragrance I like, I love this. Molecule 01 solo is one of my favorite fragrances though.

This is lovely. It’s different but in a good way. I love 01 and I love Iris so it’s a win, win for me. I find some of the comments a bit much. But try it you will not be disappointed.

I am not sure who is commenting on this fragrance because they are either completely nose blind or are commenting for effect. Smells like boiled carrots, no, smells like pet co, no, smells like sanitary pads, no! Iris is not to everyone’s taste so if you blind bought and don’t like it just be honest. These outrageous types of comments don’t help others when they are genuinely looking for thoughts and recommendations. I like Iris and I love this perfume. I actually bought it because I smelt it on someone and asked them what they were wearing. It is quite sweet for an Iris perfume which I like, and does last well. I would say try a tester before you buy as some Iris perfumes can be quite earthy and some sweet depending on the blend.

Man, my partner said this smelled like a sanitary pad, and now i cant wear this anymore. I had high hopes for orris concrete, considering the description and the fact that i like iris in perfumes. But this is a no go for me. 3/10

Beautiful and classy iris that pairs so well with Iso E Super. I agree with everyone saying it smells like Prada Infusion line.

Well folks, I finally know how much iris is too much iris. For those who desire to smell like boiled carrots… enjoy!

ok hear me out…if yall have ever been to petco/petsmart..this smells exactly like one. i guess it’s a mixture of the products + whatever cleaning supplies they use. that being said, this is not a bad thing, the smell is not bad. but i can’t wear it because i just associate it with petco now lol.

On me this smells exactly like Prada Infusion d'iris minus the powdery aspect. It's more airy on me than d'iris, and perhaps slightly more woody, which I prefer actually. It's similar to Infusion de Vetiver as well. I did two sprays 3 hours ago and I'm getting lovely wafts! It seems to be fairly linear which I also like, so no unwanted surprises yet. It feels like it will remain unchanged for the duration. Happy about this one!

I was so excited to try this fragrance as I love molecule 01 and I love iris scents but in all honesty what the hell…. Imma have to agree with the people who say it smells terrible. It smells like cedar more than iris. The people arguing saying it smells soft and interesting probably don’t know what iris should smell like, I was expecting a floral, powdery makeup-like or even soapy scent but this does in fact burn your nose as its very strong and it smells of cedar like men’s shower gel, not sure if I’m being ragebaited but iris most definitely shouldn’t smell like that. I still went ahead and used it as it was a big bottle blind buy and everyday I just prayed it would get better but it just got worse people were asking me why I smell like a man which only emphasised the fact that I think it smells like men’s shower gel.

very creamy and soft on me, i've never considered sleep scents but this would definitely be one for me. smells lactonic and isn't overly floral to me.

I love this, I’d wear this all the time tbh. Very sweet flowers, cute and plain. I was surprised too, never thought I could wear a clean and soft flowery scent until this. Reminds me the color of light purple, lilac, soft feathers, cold weather.

The dry down on this is so sharp and woody, it practically burns my nose.

I have fallen IN LOVE with this fragrance and I did NOT expect to. I first tried it on paper and didn't think much of it, I was more excited about the ginger, black tea, and mandarin varieties. Then last week I put on Diptyque's Volutes and thought I'd layer it with this to lean into the iris note, and that's when I realized that on the skin this is absolutely incredible. I didn't usually love iris, but those two scents have started to turn me around on it. I think the iso e super makes this one more creamy than powdery. It's a perfect skin scent with more longevity than most. To think if I hadn't picked up the Molecule 01+ travel set I don't think I ever would have gone out of my way to try this one otherwise.

Although the salesperson introduced me to several other fragrances from the same brand, this one stood out as my clear favorite. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys soft iris fragrances with a powdery and creamy character. In my opinion, it leans more toward the feminine side, and it could even be considered a safe blind buy for those who appreciate elegant, understated scents.

I did not want to like this, but I do. This is just a beautiful woody iris, with amazing performance on me. Big like.

I’m actually kinda nose blind to this? Which is weird cuz there’s not really any skin scents I’m nose blind to. I can smell another 13 just fine and the other molecule scents. I get a faint powdery whisper from this and that’s pretty much it

Unfortunately this fragrance did not work for me at all. I’ve been so hyped about trying scents from this house for a long time but I can’t get behind this one. Upon first spray, Molecule 01 + Iris is sharp and chemically. I have to say - it smells like a port-a potty to me. The cleaner or whatever that blue toilet liquid is that is used in a port-a potty. To me it smells exactly like that. I tried to see if as it settled in, I would enjoy it more, however I do not. At all. Just straight port-a potty or toilet tab in a public restroom. Bleh. I am really glad I didn’t blind buy this.

idk how no one else is mentioning that this smells exactly like those purple violet shaped hard candies that come in a metal tin. this makes me so nostalgic and i can't sniffing myself. my bf loves it too without having heard of those violet candies and not liking florals.

Easily the most feminine leaning of the line. I don’t get the “purple” that people associate this with. It smells slightly sharp, makeupy and powdery on me with the iso e super dancing around. Not for me.

At first spray its harsh, cold, dry iris. Then it blooms beautifully in the air. It shifts between cold woody and powdery, then creamy, woody and floral. On me it has strong projection and sillage — the dry down is quite magnetic. Who doesn’t want to smell aloof? IG/Tiktok: @wilddew_vibes

I had previously reviewed this the first time I got the testers but decide to actually wear it out and wore it to work. About 3 hours into the day a coworker that works about 10ft away from me abruptly stopped doing what she was doing, turned to me and said “what are you wearing, I really like that” she came up to me, I told her the name but ended up airdropping her a link to the EM website. She tilted her glasses to the tip of her nose, raised her eyebrows. And kind of locked in? thought it was kind of funny. she then said “Ok so it’s this. thank you” I asked her what it smelled like and she said she didn’t know but that it was “pretty” I’m a guy so I asked if she thought it was manly or womanly scent and all she said was “manly but very, very pretty. I really like it though” To me it’s a very sharp almost metallic purple iris. After it dries down it becomes a thick creamy iris with hints of a faint light yellow color? Bent-down to pick something up and when I came back up I got a whiffs of idk if it was the “iso e super” but it was so nice! It is December so idk if that has anything to do with a it’s performance? I did go ahead and bought a full bottle :) I think im gonna go ahead and give her the tester. Sprays it a total of 5 times Once on each side of my neck (2) Once behind my neck (1) & One on each shoulder on clothes (2)

initial sharp cold iris tart candy like note, like smarties but then fades into a weak pleasant skin scent i could see the appeal, but not for me

I get a strong iris from this one, my nose must be sensitive to it..also, very surprised that people say it's weak fragrance. As for impression, occasionally it's cold, green, other times a bit floral, or woody. think this may bloom even better in warmer weather, some of my irises do, so I'll have to try it again :)
