Gorgeous honeyed vanilla. Not super strong for me on the cinnamon, more of a boozy honey maybe even a touch leathery scent. It's summer so it feels more on the strong side, but come fall might feel more of a whisper. Will have to retest, overall a lovely gourmand scent, not overly sweet, complex enough but pretty safe for any environment.

15 minutes after you spray it its divine, 30 minutes after you spray it its basically gone. I am all for intimate sillage, but this is on the edge of too weak, even if you lean really close you cant detect it, you have to touch your nose on the skin basically. Its a new bottle so it might improve slightly and I havent tried on clothes, maybe if you overspray those it will be noticable. Anyway not gonna drop the rating for that. What I drop the raiting for is the opening. Its horrendous, the clary sage is terrible, what even is its purpose there? It smells like camphor your grandma puts on her aching bones at best, more so I get toilet rim block- Seriously you people like this opening? Due to this reeking smell its very unenjoyable to spray. Despite the heavenly smell that it becomes when the sage wears off (about 15minutes in) I doubt I will reach for it much, because the opening is just disgusting. It could be up there with the best vanillas, especially for the price, but the opening knocks it to like a 7/10.

I appreciate the low volume on this scent. Pepper and cinnamon catch you on the start. The clary sage starts creeping in which pushes it a little masculine/mediciney to feminine noses. Look forward to bringing the tester back out in cold weather months.

Smells super similar to my macerated bottle of Maison Margiela Replica ‘Whispers in the Library’. There’s something a bit leathery in here too, osmanthus perhaps?

I love fragrances with faint sillages, but with so much character when you smell them up close, and that is this fragrance for me. Sexy, boozy, non conventional vanilla that would allure you on a dark fall night out. So much mystery, but only if you get close enough. Obsessed (+ pairs REALLY well with the Saltair Driftwood line)

One word: divine. This is lovely, cozy, soft, beautiful scent. Pure love! I am surprised, that there are no Shalimar mentions at all. When I first sprayed this, it instantly reminded me of my dear grandmother, Shalimar was her signature scent. Because of this image, I do not know if I can wear this.

Warm and comforting. A rich blend of vanilla, soft woods, and cinnamon that feels both elegant and inviting. Smooth, long lasting, and never overly sweet. On my skin it lasts easily 8 hours with moderate sillage. I can see why the "This perfume reminds me of" section has Herod in first place, and while both revolve around warm, spicy vanilla accords, to my nose they take very different approaches. Divine Vanille feels cleaner and more elegant, while in Herod the tobacco makes it seem richer and darker.

I am intrigued. Opens as a spicy strong vanilla, then it setlles down and becomes a quiet warm boozy cinnamonny vanilla. Yes it's subtle, but it has this depth to it. This is addictive.

Анонім

In the opening it's a bit medicinal, camphorous, probably due to the sage note. Although not your cupcake type of vanilla, the tonka & benzoin give it a lovely caramel vibe. After a couple of hours it develops a slight resinous quality, balsamic almost like beeswax. It's a creamy coccooning vanilla cinnamon accord, with a prominent ambery feel to it.

Анонім

DNA like weak Herod. Opening with hint of cherries. Then vanilla with one of components makes little twist into basement accords. Anyway would be good if not performance.

Анонім

Spicy sexy incense vanilla, not too sweet or cloying which is i like, perfect for everyday wear. Humans, not everything needs to project a thousand miles, some scents are to be enjoyed closely to you.

Анонім

Oh this is good. Spice, amber and vanilla that leans smoky and isn’t sweet at all. Def a unisex scent intimate and seductive. Unexpected favourite from the Essential Parfums Discovery Set. Def a contender for a full size bottle

Анонім

spicy cinnamon with vanilla/tonka bean gourmand, but there's a note deep down that kinda bothers me, I can't exactly pinpoint it, it does go away though, on the dry down it becomes a soft musky vanilla but still pretty cinnamon-y not bad, but I don't really like how it's balanced, it feels too tonka bean heavy instead of vanilla forward, and again, vanilla gourmands are really everywhere so it's hard to stand out, this one is not really that unique, I'd probably reach for at least 10 different vanilla gourmands before this one, longevity is also pretty bad

I’m not sure where people are getting that this is too masculine because it’s very unisex to me. I love this for an everyday kind of vanilla. It’s soft enough to please most noses, though I wouldn’t consider it a blind buy. Not being sweet might throw some people off but I loved it. It’s spicy but not in a screechy way.

Анонім

Very beautiful! I disagree it’s masculine… it’s not in the room with us. It is spicy similar to Angels Share except this is more airy. The dry down especially smells so classy and feminine and understated I can’t stop smelling my wrist. This is more of an “elevated basic” if you will but it’s also unique, not a common vanilla perfume which I think makes it alluring.

Анонім

THIS ON A MAN!!! very masculine, maybe a bit of cigarbox. very deep ad dark, has a bit of animalistic.

Анонім

Beautiful. As someone who hates artificial, overly gourmand, cloying vanillas, I’m always on a quest for vanillas that are natural, balanced, and not too sweet with added depth from woods or spice, perhaps brightened by citrus or florals. To the exception of citrus/florals, Divine Vanille is a perfect vanilla for me. I’m actually not sure citrus/florals would improve it, either. Cannot stop sniffing.

Анонім

Watered down Herod. So i guess same as current Herod batches, cheaper too. Doesn’t quite have that masculine edge the PDM does but can’t knock this is good.

The new Metalic musk spicebomb will give same smell but softer and more refinde and muskier

Ok so take my review as it comes but im definitely no expert. I got an Essential Parfum discovery set and tried this one first. I had not looked at the notes but by the name I had an idea of what to expect. Initial blast I got that cinnamon and pepper but first 30 seconds I got a very harsh medicinal smell? It reminded me of Chloraseptic kind of, very off-putting for me. 5 minutes later or so it disappeared but it did sort of gave me a little headache. Anyways, fast forward and I checked kn the middle notes, but i have no clue what any of those smell like other than the incense, which i didn't get much either but its there. The vanilla feels like its always, subtly, present. Then you get the tonka bean and little bit of the cedar, patchouli and benzoin. It's not loud, but its there, but then just goes to be very close to the skin. I tried it, not really for me since im not that crazy about vanilla scents. So like a said, take my review as it comes.

Herbal vanilla , sits pretty close to the skin . I don’t think I would buy a full bottle , but it is ok 🫤

Анонім

A suuuper nice, spicy, non-cloying vanilla. Not much to say, just greatly done. Once it starts drying down, it has this cookie-like scent.

Анонім

Feminine scent, quite decent, but it just smells like a grandma to me.

Анонім

It is nice... for 15 minutes, and then it disappears completely. Its very intimate and non-offensive, but longevity is not there. Projection is so low I even struggle to enjoy it. The profile and blending are nice tho. I love the combination of incense and vanilla. leans slightly masculine... if you even care about that. I would think about getting a full bottle if projection and longevity were even moderate. High quality, but you can barely appreciate it.

Divine Vanille by Essential Parfums is a beautifully composed fragrance that doesn’t try to dominate the room, it stays close, intimate, and quietly refined. This isn’t a loud or overly sweet vanilla. Instead, it feels smooth, slightly woody, and well balanced, with just enough warmth to be comforting without ever becoming heavy or gourmand. The sweetness is controlled, giving it a more natural and elegant character rather than something dessert like. What stands out most is how effortlessly it wears. It doesn’t project aggressively or demand attention, but it leaves a soft, polished impression that feels intentional and well crafted. For those who enjoy understated fragrances that prioritize quality and balance over projection, this is an excellent choice. It’s the kind of scent you wear for yourself, subtle, comforting, and quietly luxurious. Scent: 8.5/10 | Longevity: 7.5/10 | Projection: 6/10

I love this brand, but Divine Vanille was a miss for me. Quit non-descript and leaning a bit more masculine to me. I do like more masculine fragrances, but only when it's a bit rich, deep and spicy. This feels neither here nor there. Not very vanilla forward either. It doesn't smell bad, but it doesn't stand out or speak to me in any way. Gave the travel size to my 19-year old son, he likes it.

That’s exactly Pulse of the night by Issey Miyake in a different bottle … thank me later

First bought a sample and liked so much. Yesterday my bottle arrived, so nice, rich and dark vanilla.

Анонім

Aromatic vanilla with herbal and oriental touches and with lightness of osmanthus. Unisex but female leaning. It smells nothing like Herod which is dense and smoky. Herod is by far better, and more masculine. Like a purring cat to this being a cat in the water. Both are caressing and rather sweet but totally different! This is light, all seasons vanilla without gourmand connotations. I like my scents super feminine and this might be a touch too unisex to be a favourite but it is unusual and rather charming still. Very good performance and personal sillage that I feel around me for many hours. Fit for the office but also quite seductive and should be great for an evening. The longer I wear it the warmer my feelings towards it. It starts to remind me of Mon Guerlain.

I might be the most ignorant person when the subject is vanilla combined with pepper or spicy notes, but it just doesn’t work for me.
