Yo le encuentro más parecido a "Baiser Vole" de Cartier, ambos me parecen enfocados a floral blanco muy natural y fino. Es juvenil y a la vez formal. No ponerse demasiado, porque da dolor de barriga...
Found a 50ml in a bargain box and just had to have it. Remember buying this in a department store when it was first launched and really liking it then. Soft florals on a blonde woody base. I've always felt the kind of fragrance a business woman would wear. It gives a vibe of a well put together woman.
This fragrance reminded me of Eternity Calvin Klein (1988) but with a plus. It seems like an improved version of that fragrance. It's very crisp and polished, most suitable for corporate settings. It's imposing but not overwhelming as to say "I'm here, listen to me".
I actually didn't plan to buy this perfume, but due to a delivery mix up - Modern Muse Nuit was supposed to arrive - I ended up with this one as the seller didn't want to do the return. So....with some disappointment I tried out this one. It smells clean. Not sure if I wanna say boring because in some way it reminds me of Yves Rocher Tendre Jasmin which has been a mood lifter for me. The jasmine comes with first spray, stays on me and dominates quite a bit. Deep behind it the mix of musk, patchouli and amber lingers, giving it a hint of depth, but not powerful enough for my taste. After about an hour it turns toward daffodils on me. I keep sniffing for vanilla in the dry down but can't find any.Low sillage and stays for 3-4 hours which is less than what I want from a perfume. This review is made in colder weather, I imagine it can work out well in summer, but it will never be a perfume I think of much. I'm willing to try it out, maybe it's good for layering? I imagine kindergarten teacher, dentist assistant, light mooded, easy going person wearing it, but also lawyer, architect or stewardess. It can be an easy choice if clean and professional is what you wanna project.
Super pretty ultra beautiful floral She smells light she’s elegant she looks amazing and she probably lives in the countryside The patchouli is sooo subtle and not as sharp as in narciso for her edp This thing and narciso for her, comme une evidance yves rocher, lovely sjp , idylle guerlain smells almost the same but every single one of them just has there own touches Probably modern muse is the most subtle one of them Yes i get patchouli but super subtle and inoffensive With the ton of flowers and strongest one being jasmine Projection is meh i think u need to reapply 2-3 times a day An absolute love but I dont own a bottle yet so im gonna keep it at like for now and later i’ll update !
Doesn't last that long, just a few hours
This is probably my favorite perfume to wear to interviews, assessment days , and general conferences. It has a soft, approachable energy but it is also just interesting and unique enough to stand out. It may just be that I'm a man with a love for a musky or powdery floral, but it never fails to get good results.
I'm not good at discerning notes, but Modern Muse is a lovely sweet floral with a hint of citrus. It is not too sweet or powdery to my nose (I don't like overly sweet). Another reviewer wrote it's like honeysuckle, and I can agree with that. But it is not heavy or cloying. I could wear anytime.
Reminds me of (if not exactly like) my aunt’s Estée Lauder powder makeup back in 2015!
I don't wear Modern Muse very often--my bottle, which lives in a drawer in my refrigerator, is mostly full, a gift from my late FIL that I'll never get rid of for sentimental reasons--but I do like it despite its lack of any real dent. As others have mentioned, it is a somewhat unassuming white floral with a woody-musk base, a sparkling-minty rather than skunky-funky patchouli. For me the only distinctive note is pepper, which doesn't seem to be listed in the pyramid but which I could swear is there. Pink pepper, I would guess. I don't hate it, but I do wish it would subside a bit and let those appealing florals shine. I do find Modern Muse less sweaty-medicinal than SJP Lovely, to which it is frequently compared. I like Lovely and wear it sometimes, but it dries down to a much dirtier and more assertive patchouli than I prefer, and it's altogether more herbal, with its lavender note. Modern Muse has no lavender, and the patchouli is almost antiseptically clean in that contemporary Estee Lauder way. I give the edge to Modern Muse, I think, because I love the honeysuckle note so much.
So I used to wear this pretty consistently, it was my go-to for a year or two. Towards the end of my relationship with Modern Muse, it started to smell very hair-spray like, and maybe it just doesn't have the best shelf life in the bottle before it starts to go bad, and the bottle rusts and leaks and just was a mess so taking it when I traveled became less and less of an option. I since stopped buying it and have no urge to get it again. But fresh bought and fresh sample sizes are great upon purchase, I just don't know why it spoils so quickly and becomes so harshly chemical scented in a month or two. Could be the heat and stress of traveling with it, but frankly I need a perfume that can go the distance (literally), and I have plenty of other travel size perfumes that performed much better across all of my journeys. Interested if anyone else has this unique experience. But yeah, it just doesn't hold up for the volume of liquid they give you even with daily wear, can't get through it before it turns chemically hair-sprayish and bottle breakage.
ucuz fiyata satıyorum 40 ml
I agree with some of the reviews below: inoffensive, lacks a bit of personality. Does smell pleasant, reminds me of a more wearable Narciso (pink bottle), less heavy and more suitable for daily wear. Would love it on someone else, I imagine the teacher who adopted Mathilda in the movie Mathilda, would wear this.
Thank you to Nocciola23 for the comparison to SJP Lovely. You spared me a bad blind buy. I already have Lovely and I do not like it, so the last thing I need is more of it. My other hint was the fact that patchouli is listed twice as a note. I feel like patchouli is popping up in and, effectively, ruining everything -- shampoo, body wash, facial moisturizer. So, a double dose is a definite nope for me.
To me this reads as the basic bitch of perfumes. It's inoffensive, polite and charming, but quickly it shows itself to have very little in the way of deep philosophical conversations. I can guarantee that you've smelled this at least once on a random girl you talked to once at a crowded house party and then never again. It's like if Daisy by Marc Jacobs had an upper-middle-class child with a high-end shopping mall. As you can probably tell, I'm a fan of wearing this when my 'more exciting' perfumes have become temporarily banal in their overuse.
At first, the citrus opening completely put me off—I usually can’t stand citrus scents. So I gave the bottle to my mom. But one day, I hugged her and caught the most clean and sensual scent. It was exactly the kind of fresh, soft fragrance I’d been searching for forever. I’d tried Replica’s Bubble Bath before, but it was a disaster—harsh, synthetic, and gave me a headache. So you can imagine my surprise and curiosity when I realized this was the one. Of course, my mom refused to tell me what it was right away (she knows I end up stealing her perfumes). Long story short: I’m now on my third bottle this year.
Very light airy clean floral. Lighter version of Narciso Rodriguez in the all pink bottle. Very appropriate for the office for modest setting. It's a nice safe scent.
I enjoy this perfume, but I have rated it as 'dislike' because it has such poor performance and sillage. I have a bottle of this and no matter how much I spray, I have to bury my nose in my wrist to get even the slightest hint of scent. It's nice enough as a skin scent, but it smells exactly the same as SJP Lovely, which is so much cheaper and has better performance, that it's hardly worth buying at all. I give it 3 points for the bottle though - it's cute.
This oxidises/matures quite well. It originally just had a powdery orange hairspray smell I liked before it went subtle. Now it's more like a very fresh orange honey smell from the honeysuckle really getting center stage.
As soon as I perceived it, there is just one thing that comes to my mind; That rich girl who comes to visit the neighbourhood once in a while and that you wish she stayed longer to know her better. The one that looks like she is mature, travels a lot, knows the best things, she is sure of herself, she knows what she likes, good manners, so clean, respectful never easy to manipulate neither intimidate, nothing makes her run, she goes her way, she knows when to go home without needing the parents to be calling her from the door. And she is beautiful since she takes care of her beauty at an early age. The girl who is your age yet you have a special admiration for her, you were in the same group but never could meet. It also reminds me of the visit of a rich, down to earth and decent family who experiences life a lot and are wise! The family who is never intrusive. I perceived it when it was first launched, I was young and couldn't purchase the bottle. Then it discontinued in my country (and still is). I had to bring it to my country from abroad. I don't understand how Estee Lauder has the most lame perfumes in the country where I live and not this one. It's precious. The ingredients are so well balanced, no one fights against no one. You can tell these pair of perfumists adored the idea to work for this perfume and they had everything to make it perfect. They gave time, heart and thought. Regarding the notes, You definitely feel the jasmine, lily and tuberose, fixed by the woodie notes. The rest of the notes are so strategically added that give a very nice body. The bad thing is that I have to bath on it because the intensity is too weak. I would say is way less than my Dylan Turquoise EDT. On me it just lasts 2 hours. Cheers
It's a nice but strange scent - on clothes it smells mainly of white flowers, but on skin it's very similar to NR's For Her.
This received potentially the highest honor of all at work today. Multiple colleagues have asked what I was wearing multiple times over this week and I offered sprays and now 2 people have taken pictures of my bottle to find their own. It's really proving its power as a office scent. It's unisex by the way. I'm a man and half of the people assume it's for men and half assume it's for women. Get yourself some if you want something easy and likable for work.
Smelling Tocca Cleopatra again today has made me miss this scent quite terribly so I've purchased a very lightly used one at a good cost This scent smells of a citrus talcum powder, before slowly turning into a pleasing musk. The honeysuckle is a little stronger here than I've smelt it in other perfumes, but I enjoy that quite a bit. For people who say this is generic? Perhaps it is, but this is one of the white floral rich scents I've tried that don't overwhelm a room completely in heat. I've also compared this against a few other popular musky florals ( Narciso Rodriguez for her toilette and parfum, SJP Lovely, Tocca Cleopatra) and simply enjoy this one the best; perhaps it's slight greenness that comes with so many florals. It's professional without seeming cold. Definitely a scent to wear with a light touch to interviews and/or the first few days of work.
Unpleasant but also boring. I’m not repulsed by it because there’s really nothing here for me to react to. Very clean church grandma.
I’m only here to bitch about the bottle. That weird top ended up getting jammed and I had to decant the whole thing. I’m tired of these perfume houses making ridiculous design choices in an effort to be unique and it’s barely usable. That said, it’s an office go to in the spring. Very fresh and uplifting with decent longevity.
This is okay. I like the musk it settles into, which is reminiscent of Narciso Rodriguez scents, but I could do without that strong floral opening. It is a little suffocating to start. It’s kind of stuffy and corporate, but there are times that’s called for. It’s a solid if uninspired easy wear.
I got this as a gift and didnt love it at first, it just smelled like this sharp citrus and flowers and I’m not a fan of citrus scents. But then my mom and my sister wore it one day and it smelled completely different, it was clean, fresh, feminine and intimate. So I started wearing it myself and oh my god I have never gotten so many compliments before. When I give goodbye hugs my friends ALWAYS have to comment how good and clean i smell. Also after long days when I come home and change out of my clothes I can always smell the scent, so it lasts all day! There’s this citrusy yet woody note that dries down really beautifully to light flowers and musk! It’s the lightness and freshness that makes it so appropriate for every occasion. So yeah I’m done with my second bottle which makes me sad cuz the 100ml doesn’t exist in my country, I got my previous bottles from the duty free shop and I’m not planning to travel any time soon:(
First let me say, this is a sheer jasmine-centric floral. I love Jasmine so this suits me. The honeysuckle is also a lovely surprise. It does smell modern. Perfect for the office, church, more of a summer scent. Definitely a daytime scent as it doesn't last that long. The performance isn't great, it becomes a skin scent quickly. Spraying on your clothes, if you can, helps the scent last longer. Some say the patchouli is overwhelming. Seriously? I'm a patch lover and I can't smell any patchouli at all, otherwise it would LAST longer, and the scent would be less sheer, less modern. Patchouli tends to make a perfume more serious, more mature..It claims patchouli but it's not detectible. (And , no, there is no vanilla either). It's all sheer floral, musk and blonde woods. I like it. But, keep in mind that it's light, even on clothes. You will need to reapply and the bottle is cute but it's ungainly to stash in a purse. I see nice prices on this at several perfume warehouses.
I've had three bottles till now so safe to say it's one of my most favorite fragrances of all time. A very unique floral fresh scent that really helps you make a statement. Great for evening wear. I love love love it
This is a really nice citrus floral scent however I am not a fan of how much patchouli I smell in it. I feel like it kind of takes away from how feminine and beautiful this fragrance could be. If you like crates floral scents and you also like patchouli, I'd highly recommend this.
