I love tobacco as a note. My favourite perfumes have tobacco, so I am kinda biased. Extremely pleasant smell that I associate with something confident, mature and a bit dominant. I would not call it a direct dupe of tobacco vanilla as it has this interesting cognac smell and I think Boclet Tobacco is kinda more feminine and I actually prefer it. Definitely my top 2, sometimes top 1. Absolutely worth the price.

I received this today and i was so excited! It smells like if Tobacco vanille and Chergui had a baby together. Really really nice! Unfortunately and i kid you not its a complete skin scent within 23 minutes (timed it) Disappointed is a understatement :(

Nose Note #1055 Yeah, basically a faithfull clone of Tobacco Vanille, but WITH CLOVES. Even stronger cloves than Amber Oud Tobacco. It makes it a little more niche. But I must say Al Haramain made a better, stronger and cheaper dupe. Even the bottle is cooler. 8/10

I wish perfumers would quit putting cloves in tobacco scents. EVERYTHING is better without cloves!

Franck Boclet TOBACCO is a MASTERPIECE, Elegant, Classy, Spicy, Tobacco and Complex. You can't go wrong with it, If you like TOBACCO STYLE SCENT! It is the best Alternative for Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, But Frank Boclet Tobacco is not similar to Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille Exactly, Or a Copy, It has a plum, cherry vibe undertones from the opening up to the dry down. It smells so good and very pleasant, I fell in love with it at first sniff ! I bought it blind-buy after reading the positive comments and I watched reviews on YouTube with reasonable price. It opens up with a bit sweet warm spicy and plum, cherry pipes vibe undertone, then dry down is semi sweet, smooth, warm spicy, vanilla and balsamic ambery. It is sweet but It is not cloying. This has a masterful Well-blended composition with High Quality. It perfect for the fall and winter, I really enjoy it, when the weather is very cold. Longevity is good. I'm so happy that I have it in my collection. Highly Recommend. Two Thumbs Up Bravo Monsieur Frank Boclet ! Rating : 9 / 10

If i had to choose, im definitely more of a tobacco ass bitch than a vanilla ass bitch, and this is pretty good, but i think it coud have been even better. It didnt survive the clove AND vetiver combo imo

Smells great, but no longevity at all. Disappointing. I even bought a decant after I bought a bottle from fragrance net. . I was thinking maybe I got a fake, but it’s the exact same.

I agree with the gentleman below. The sillage on this leaves must be desired it's not a very strong fragrance applying it directly to my skin it just doesn't really project very well but it's a very nice sweet very well Blended scent profile to be honest with you. Even with me and I moisturize and use lotion and everything I would probably give this a three and a half to four hour max judging on how strong the sillage is. You're going to have to reapply with this one in my opinion. But in terms of the actual set profile it's a winner for sure it's just you have to know how to moisturize and maximize your skin chemistry so this can help you in Social settings and you can smell it yourself. I would suggest carrying a traveler's decant with you if you want to have an actual night out. Edit: smells A LOT like a pumpkin spice latte.... Like unreal how much it does. I was expecting more tobacco.

With first wearing I sense no fruity notes. Only spices with mostly dominant clove. After first hour of wearing it gets better. This will need at least 5 sprays to be noticed. I'm writing this 8h in and it's a skin scent right now. I agree that it takes TV as base and then goes further in spicy direction.

My favourite christmas fragrance. This is a sweet scent with prominent warm spicy accord. I get a lot of cloves, tobacco and plum in the opening, then vanilla and warm benzoin in drydown. I actually prefer this over TV and it's much cheaper. Definitely worth checking out if you like this type of fragrances. Performance could be a little better, but it's not that bad either

Where some of Boclet’s creations play with excess or artistic abstraction, Tobacco presents a more concentrated and direct interpretation, emphasizing warmth, richness, and presence over novelty. Built around a familiar accord, it suggests a composition rooted in depth and intensity, inviting comparison not only within the brand’s own lineup but across the wider field of tobacco-focused fragrances. With expectations shaped by my recent experiences with the house, the question becomes how this more straightforward concept is executed and whether it offers something distinctive. Let’s light it up and see how Franck Boclet’s take on tobacco begins to smolder once worn. Opening: The opening is spicy, warm, and sweet. The most prominent notes are tobacco, cloves, plum, and vanilla, with tobacco and cloves immediately taking the lead. True to the name, tobacco is the first note to announce itself, presenting a familiar, warm, and gently sweet accord that closely mirrors the style of tobacco found in Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille. Cloves arrive alongside it with a tenacious warmth, delivering a spiciness that feels true to freshly used culinary cloves rather than a vague spice accord. Vanilla settles in beneath the tobacco and cloves, lending a smooth creaminess that reinforces the classic tobacco–vanilla contrast. Plum rounds out the opening quietly, adding a touch of juicy sweetness and faint tartness that adds dimension without pulling focus. Taken together, the opening strongly echoes the character of Tobacco Vanille, particularly in its balance of sweetness, spice, and warmth. Dry Down: The dry down remains spicy, warm, and sweet, with tobacco, cloves, and vanilla continuing to dominate the composition, along with a newly emerged cedar note. Both tobacco and cloves retain nearly the same balance they held in the opening, contributing to a largely linear progression. At this stage, the cloves develop a slightly medicinal edge, noticeable but not distracting. Vanilla continues to play a steady supporting role, maintaining its creamy sweetness without becoming more pronounced. Lastly, cedar is present in the base, introducing a layer of dry woodiness that subtly differentiates the dry down from the opening. Benzoin also becomes perceptible in the background, adding a soft balsamic sweetness that enhances depth. Despite these additions, the dry down remains very close in character to Tobacco Vanille, with only a modest increase in woodiness setting it apart. Performance: Projection during the first hour is very strong, easily filling a room and producing a heavy, noticeable scent trail. After a few hours, performance remains largely unchanged, maintaining its presence with confidence. Around the seven to eight hour mark, projection drops significantly to below arm’s length, and sillage becomes faint. The fragrance transitions into a skin scent shortly thereafter. When to Wear: Tobacco is best suited for fall and winter wear, particularly in the evening. Blind Buy: For those who already enjoy sweet, warm tobacco fragrances in the style of Tobacco Vanille, this would be a relatively safe blind buy. However, for less experienced noses or those unsure about tobacco-heavy compositions, sampling first is the wiser approach, as the fragrance’s richness and intensity may be overwhelming. Final Verdict: Tobacco proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable wear and aligns closely with my personal taste in fragrance. Its warm, spiced tobacco profile is immediately appealing and feels like something that would naturally belong in my collection. Ultimately, the deciding factor comes down to comparison. Tobacco sits extremely close to the scent profile of Tobacco Vanille, but does not quite match it in terms of longevity and staying power. While both fragrances open with impressive projection and sillage, Tobacco Vanille maintains that intensity for considerably longer. For that reason, and despite how much I enjoyed wearing it, Tobacco does not earn a spot in my collection at this time. Tobacco Vanille remains on my buy list, while Tobacco, though well executed, ends up feeling redundant by comparison. It’s perfect for autumn and winter evenings, evoking cozy nights with a glass of something dark and a hint of spice in the air. Longevity is good, often lasting 5-6 hours or more on skin, and projection is moderate to strong for the first few hours before settling into a close, comforting trail. This fragrance tends to remind lovers of Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille but tends to be a bit more refined and less gourmand-heavy, making it a great, luxurious choice for anyone wanting that tobacco vibe without being overpowering. It’s definitely a standout if you appreciate warm, spicy, slightly sweet profiles with serious staying power.

This is the smell of a tall, handsome man, wearing suede, standing in a pile of autumn leaves, explaining why stealing your heart was “necessary for art" and you don't even mind. Smoky, spicy, rich, a bit sweet - and still 100% unisex. I respect that energy.

One of these good examples of perfumery being creative and interesting as an art. You can built chemically one singular note in thousands of different ways. You can add one aroma chemical giving just a hint of something or you can create perfume focused on one particular note, where it can be created as a complex accord from several tens of different synthetic and natural materials. There are lots of tobaccos on the market, which smell very different. From honeyed, fruity interpretations to ashy, dry and aromatic ones. This is a spicy, aromatic, eugenolic, "gingerbread like" interpretation. It can be classified as Spicy or Spicy-Woody perfume in my opinion. Definitely creative niche project. I will try to write more after a skin test.

This perfum is amazing.

Out of the several tobacco-centric fragrances I sampled, Franck Boclet Tobacco is one of the most interesting and unisex, or feminine leaning tobacco perfumes. I've always enjoyed tobacco fragrances. But I prefer tobacco fragrances tempered with vanilla, or sandalwood, florals, etc. I am a woman and while I refrain from gender categorizing fragrances, I do prefer a gentler, more "tobacco-flower," fragrance versus a full-on, ashy, burnt tobacco accord. First impressions and I really love Franck Boclet Tobacco. The opening is a pleasant, slightly spicy, gentle tobacco note with the nice addition of plum, ginger (not a favorite note) and CLOVES! I've discovered I love clove in perfumes. And I really enjoy the note when clove is well blended and balanced with tobacco!! Ten minutes into the wear, I detect warm, resinous woods, definitely some cedar. I told my husband, "This perfume's base-notes smell a bit like a hamster cage" but I meant it in the most complimentary way!! As it develops, a lovely, smooth, perfect vanilla beautifully balances out the fragrance. I am really liking this perfume! Franck Boclet "Tobacco" may be the winner.

Bad and weak synthetic perfume

I get Coca-Cola and Tobacco. It's pleasant and smooth, just whatbI expect from a niche fragrance. Linear scent all the way to the dry down. Some how this reminds me of Enigma from aroja Dove.

Interesting. And then it’s gone. A strong cola scent to me, lasting maybe a few hours on skin. I can’t get my nose to find the tobacco. Having read about the clove notes try again with this in mind. I’m a bit disappointed. I enjoy the scent but it’s not what I wanted in a fragrance called Tobacco. And the performance is quite lacking.

Sweet, rather heavy opening with notes of plum and tobacco. The whole composition is underpinned by vanilla. It's not a light, sweet gourmand but rather a darker, sticky, syrupy scent. It lasts long, gradually settling closer to the skin.

This reminds me of Burberry London For Men. Quite surprised it's not in the "reminds me of" section, it may not be a perfect match, but it's definitely a much better match than many others there. This is slightly more mature and with more tobacco (both good things), but I also feel a mild christmasy vibe here. And as opposed to London it has decent lasting power and some projection. It does cost 4x more, but at the same time it's cheaper than most good tobacco fragrances, though also slightly less interesting. But all in all I think it's not a bad deal.

#1015 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a decant. Not a terrible tobacco scent, but like every Boclet scent I've experienced, not remarkable and not worth the price. It's on par with Reyanne Tradition "Insurrection II Wild" in scent and performance, which is available under $25. Everyone is of course comparing this to Tom Ford's "Tobacco Vanille" as that's become the standard. This is not as sweet, has clove, which I don't think really adds anything to the scent. I find the projection and longevity comparatively moderate because what I am comparing it to is Mancera "Red Tobacco Intense", PDM "Herod", Armani "Stronger with You Tobacco", Al Haramain "Amber Oud Tobacco", Maison Margiela "Jazz Club", close to twenty tobacco scents I have that are all much better than this in scent and performance. At this point when I try a scent that's new to me I ask myself where I would rank this among what I already own. I'd put this ahead of Alhambra "Tobacco Touch" which is kinda cloying to me, V&R "Spicebomb Extreme" which I found extremely unlikable, but I put it behind every other tobacco scent I have. And that's been pretty much the story with every Boclet scent. Overpriced, overrated, dull and uninteresting. Like they aren't even trying. Not a buy for me if it were a third the price.

Very close to TF Tobacco Vanille, but not better. Would prefer more characteristic TV over this.

This is defiantly an amped up version of TF Tobacco Vanille. Its in the same realm of it, but leans heavier on the tobacco. TF Tobacco Vanilla is more vanilla sweetness, while FB Tobacco is more plum sweetness with heavy tobacco. Either way its good. 8/10

Fantastic tobacco parfume. It is very close to Charuto, but is a little better, has more depth, more refined, and more expensive Gorgeous 🤩 ❤️ 9/10
