I’ve had a bottle of this for a good while, didn’t even realise it got discontinued, which is very unfortunate. I thought it was very popular. In any case, you can undoubtedly tell it is Acqua di Gio due to the very strong calone note and its piercing everlasting quality. Can’t say there is a massive difference from the original, besides being more bitter, which I do really like. I do get a strange sensation of a freshly cut carrot for whatever reason, which is still quite pleasant. It’s projection and longevity is amazing. Lasts a full work day and beyond. If you still own a bottle, I’d use it sparingly as anything more than 2 sprays might choke everyone out in the office. I’ve not tried the Parfum version, but many have said it’s the same or at least very close. If that’s the case, I’d go for that version as there is never a good justification to pay double or more from a reseller.

People who have written positive revjews here like to pretend that the incense note is that appealing - it's not lmao. It is appealing because of it is discontinued and people like to follow hype/trends. This smells exactly like the AdG Parfum. Save your money and buy that instead and stop being so pretentious because your favorite influencer said this is the best scent ever. It is as good as the Parfum.

"Acqua di Gio Profumo Review As someone who previously used Acqua di Gio EDT and then went on to finish a whole bottle of Profumo, I can say the transition between the two felt quite drastic. At first, Profumo gave me a headache due to what I perceived as its synthetics, and it was just a fragrance I would casually spray at the office. This is the mysterious blip noise in the ocean, don't know how Alberto made the perfect balance of ocean, smoke, and sweetness to be so sexy.

I know this might sound like sacrilege to some die hard fans of this one, but I like the 2024 parfum more, much more. And just to get it our of the way, I have two bottles of the old formulation of the profumo. Mind you, I think it is still better than the 2023 parfum, but it doesn't hold a candle to the 2024 iteration of the parfum.

Light, powdery, oceanic, slightly herbal opening. Smells like nice detergent. It's alright, Godfather recommended. R.i.P to him, but I unfortunately don't see the hype. Remimds me of a less masculine Polo Blue once it drys, minus the slightly sweet detergent smell. Profumo last longer tho. And as far as blue fragrances go, I think Dylan Blue is way more unique.

Smells like a darker take on Essenza. I love to wear Essenza in the morning and Profumo in the afternoon. Can be worn anytime though. I agree it is a 10/10 fragrance and one of the best fragrances ever made. Does everything you would want in a fragrance. Lasts, projects the perfect amount, and smells amazing.

Too overused and you will smell like every frat boy that has gone out to the bars in the last 20 years

عطر أكوا دي جيو بروفيومو: نظيف، سهل القبول، منعش و لكن للأسف بالنسبة لي غير مميز على الاطلاق قد يبدو ككنز لمحبي العطور الصيفية المنعشة الخفيفة و لكن برأي هناك عطور عديدة تتفوق عليه في جمال التوليفة و تؤدي نفس الفكرة البحرية العطرية الدخانية أكثر ما يزعجني هنا هو الافتتاحية ممثلة في قوة النوتة البحرية خصوصا في بداية العطر، ما يأتي بعدها من نوتات عطرية مثل اكليل الحبل مع لمسة البخور و الباتشولي الداكن يبقى مقبولا جدا خصوصا و ان المعتاد في العطور الصيفية هو البساطة و ليس التعقيد في المكونات مناسب للاستعمال في كل المناسبات في الصيف و الربيع ليلا أو نهارا و الافضل بالنهار الاداء مقبول جدا لعطر صيفي بثبات يصل حتى 10 ساعات و فوحان في أول ساعتين التقييم 3.7/5

Forget ESSENZA, PROFUMO, and all the rest... BRING BACK the ORIGINAL 1998-1999 FORMULATION of the plain Acqua di Gio. It was THE..MOST..MAGICAL..OF..THEM .ALL...If you know, you damn well know.
