Personally, this fragrance smells highly lactonic, evoking a visual of soft but sensual white flowers. When I first experienced it, my immediate impression was that of a tuberose-focused scent. To be honest, I don't really detect a distinct lily character here. Instead, it feels much closer to a creamy, indolic white flower like tuberose. To me, lily has mainly aldehydic and phenolic character with a hint of sweet honey. But this is not even though it has slightly honey note. The dry-down is also intensely musky on my skin. To my nose, it wears like a beautiful blend of pink pepper, ylang-ylang, creamy tuberose, white musk, vanilla, and benzoin.

Smelled it at the airport and I immediately fell in love with it!!! On my skin and on paper. Beautiful intoxicating green cold jasmine, that is both creamy-wet-exotic due to ylang ylang, mildly sweet due to my favorite vanilla note and refreshing, due to the greeness. I compared it to the Tuberose (red bottle) for hours and the next day on paper and I think I'd choose this one if I had to pick, because the Tuberose is more sensual and for colder weather. It's for all hours, seasons, occasions. Smells quality! It smells like elegance, white flowers under the Moonlight 🥰🥰🥰 10/10!!! I wish it lasted longer on skin. On paper it lasted for almost 24 h!

How does this compare to Memo -Marfa?

I was never a fan of indolic fragrances, but decided to sample Vert Malachite based on the generally positive reviews here. On my initial spray, I was immediately drawn to the beautiful ylang- which gave the fragrance a tropical quality without the usual coconut note. Still, despite the absence of coconut, the scent was rich and creamy. The vanilla lends a sweetness that almost borders gourmand territory, but it is pulled back into a floral dance with the jasmine. Very heady, like someone is stuffing a bouquet of exotic flowers in your face! Unfortunately for me, the lily note was much too indolic for my body chemistry. The fragrance dried down into a fecal scent :( I seem to have problems with lily scents in general, even real lilies (of various types) smell horrific to me. I gave my sample to my grandmother who is a very classy lady. Overall, Vert Malachite paints a picture of a very luxurious woman- whether relaxing in a beach resort or in an exclusive formal event. I do suggest testing this before buying. Strong projection with long-lasting longetivity.

This is not a safe blind buy. In case you're sensitive to tuberose, it is not listed in the ingredients, but it smells LIKE it. I enjoy the "waxy" attribute, the creaminess, and the way it dries on my clothes, but overall, the flowers are too indolic for my fresh soul. The bottle and notes made me imagine something creamy, relaxed, and tropical (I really wanted this to feel more "yellow" and exotic), but it is stronger than that and way more mature than expected. I wouldn't overspray this in the warmer months; it is loud, and it can be headache-inducing. Most lovers of white flowers will enjoy this.

Vert Malachite gives me Fracas vibes because both have the very creamy, slightly overripe fruit facets of tuberose. They mix with the orange, creating a wine like quality. There are also touches of jasmine sambac and vanilla that give me a hint of incense and creamsicle smell. But it doesn't tip into gourmand territory because the florals take center stage from start to finish. Vert is round and dense, yet the pink pepper, lily and woody petitgrain add levity and freshness and pushes the fragrance off my skin in wafts. 1-2 sprays on my back is enough to enjoy this white floral potion in the spring weather. I think Vert could be overwhelming and headache inducing in warmer temperatures. Performance is 10+ hours. 💚 My review is for the green labelled bottle, but I have also tried the newer gold label version- that one is slightly lighter, more vanillic and less floral with more of a creamsicle drydown.

This smells exactly like cheap hairspray to me. . . gag!

Absolutely love this fragrance. I’m very picky when it comes to jasmine, but Armani nailed it with this one. To my nose, it feels like a compact makeup, creamy, softly powdery, almost skin like. The jasmine melts into the composition rather than dominating it, creating a smooth, luminous warmth. Jasmine has this naturally sensual, almost hypnotic quality. It’s a floral that doesn’t just bloom, it lingers close to the skin, intimate and magnetic. There’s something about this scent that instantly takes me to sunny days. It’s not a sharp floral, but a warm one, like standing under the sun, surrounded by blooming flowers, skin layered in a soft, creamy lotion. Everything feels blended, diffused, and effortlessly elegant. Wearing it feels quietly elevated. It reminds me of someone with a minimal, perfectly put together aesthetic, clean, intentional, never trying too hard, yet undeniably refined. And the bottle… stunning. The deep green lacquer resembles malachite, with its rich, marble like swirls that feel both decorative and intentional. Malachite is known as the stone of Scorpio 🖤 my sign, which makes it feel even more personal. Just like jasmine, there’s something magnetic and quietly intense about it, subtle on the surface, but deeply captivating underneath. This fragrance is stunning.

this is what i imagine a cherub to smell like. this is such a beautiful scent. beautiful!!!

You’re coming home and it’s either your mothers or grandmothers birthday. Air fulfilled by the smell of lilies. It’s that exact, somehow bad smelling scent, that they recreated. I get jasmine on second place and bitter orange on third. Vanilla is somewhere there. Definitely buying this once get money. -M206

I find this sharp, harsh and overwhelming. I found a better alternative in Amouage Love Tuberose

It's a YES for me! This is a beautiful fragrance. The initial blast gave me flowers and stem juice, as if I were holding flowers and the stems were all broken and leaking green stem juice...But as things rounded out, I got a lovely bouquet of fragrant flowers, with yellow ylang-ylang sticking out the most, tantalizing pink pepper, and a very present but not suffocating creaminess. This is sexy grown and appealing - almost comes off as "exotic" to me.

Had super high expectations for this one based on the notes and the reviews. I love LILY and vanilla, along with the description. However I wasn’t overly impressed. Certainly not for what it sells for. I think it’s worth $150-175 tops, not more. It’s a pretty feminine scent, that could be worn day to night, but not a standout perfume. To me it was one of those frags that look better on paper, and falls short in reality. It smelled a bit better the second time I sprayed it a couple days later. I wish the lily note was more prominent, but I could just detect a mix of clean white florals with a hint of vanilla. It had decent projection and lasted 4-6+ hrs.

Анонім★★★★★

Gays only me thinks that perfume shins in the winter . In the summer it's very heavy and unbearable and has bug spray Smell, before I sell it and tried one more time in winter say 20 / 19 degrees And was magical

Анонім★★★★★

I was expecting more from this, but all I can smell is some bitter green notes, subtle white florals, and some slight sweetness. Nothing remarkable. There are better white floral scents out there.

Анонім★★★★★

There are hundreds of white floral scents on the market but none of them feel so aristocratic, elevated, rich, creamy, sexy but innocent at the same time. The outstanding performance and longevity are a huge plus. The lily with jasmine and a touch of ylang ylang create the sexy heart but it is hidden under the layer of the clean soft petigrain and bitter orange. A gorgeous composition that plays on duality. Definitely signature worthy and full bottle worthy.

I am having trouble discerning the notes, but it smells like flowers and some nuance of citrus and greenness. I need to wear a few more times to form a more concrete opinion.

Анонім★★★★★

how dense and creamy this is insanely creamy and rich just like butter milk vanilla coconut with a lot of jasmine ylang ylang and lily one of the most important notes in this fragrance to me is lily Obviously the jasmine and vanilla are the main dna for this fragrance but let me tell u the lily here supposed to be peppery and waxy but when the vanilla came it turned to the most unique aspect of white flowers not just boring jasmine ylang vanilla sunscreen no no the lily is making a looott of magic in this fragrance for example take a sharp turkish rose and tone the sharpness down with some sort of creamy sweet note coconut indian jasmine vanilla whatever sweet and creamy the mix of sharp flower and and sweet note makes anything atleast to me addictive And the jasmine is indolic to an insane level I thought it was tuberose but tbh its a way softer than tuberose I can’t say anything about the projection its just unbelievable The uniqueness 8/10 The projection 10/10 The smell 8,5/10 The bottle 8/10 If i will describe this fragrance using just 1 word it would be DENSE

Анонім★★★★★

This is a dense, creamy, heavy grassy vanilla with a hint of pepper. Wear with caution, a little goes a long way. The florals are buttery. I had to scrub it off, it made me nauseous. I may visit it again to see if I change my mind, I was expecting something more clean. Sample before buying.

Анонім★★★★★

It begins beautifil with creamy lily vanila combo but it ends up with overpowering sweets ylang ylang on my skin wich is a big disapointing for me. To bad..the top notes where glorious.

Анонім★★★★★

This is a glorious white flower bomb, it is rich and full bodied with superb projection, no need to overspray this one. Absolute masterpiece!

Анонім★★★★★

If you ask me, "What is an angel smell like?", I would say Vert Malachite, without a doubt

Анонім★★★★★

Basic soapy white floral. I’m so disappointed, but then again, I don’t remember being extremely impressed while smelling any of this line in store. On my skin it’s just a very boring jasmine and ylang ylang, one of many iterations on the market. It’s veering close to bubblegum territory, even without tuberose. I want to love this given it’s Fabrice Pellegrin, so for that I will sample again later in hopes of it growing on me.

Despite my owning a bottle of this for years, this is possibly my first or second time wearing it. It confuses me. It is indeed a heady bouquet of white flowers in full bloom. The lily is especially fragrant and full of pollen. Wearing it, I feel like I’m either a wealthy woman in casual linen clothing at a resort or a springtime bride. There is no in between. The vanilla is creamy but not overly rich or sweet. I actually don’t particularly care for this type of vanilla because it is slightly waxy and green. The performance is fantastic. It is noticeable and the creaminess wears nicely on the skin. I have gotten a few compliments today. I’ll continue to wear this as part of my rotation of work fragrances because my office is a very “dressed up” environment. However, I doubt I will repurchase if/when this bottle is through.

Анонім★★★★★

I love you, Jasmine! 💚This is a creamy, dense, and decadent white flower scent! Wow I love it. Moderate longevity and projection on me. Sample first for sure because it may not be for everyone. Thank you, Fabrice Pellegrin...she is stunning! 🤍 p.s. For a low cost really good Armani Vert Malachite like fragrance try Luxury Vert by Riiffs. It is almost identical & I love it too!

Анонім★★★★★

Absolutely perfect. No words could express how amazing this is. It is worth EVERY PENNY. Simply the best creamy white floral out there.

Анонім★★★★★

Vert Malachite is the fragrance that made me realize lily is a note I have to approach with caution. While jasmine-heavy scents typically work beautifully on my skin this one takes an unfortunate turn. I believe it’s the lily (yes, it’s seemingly in here) that adds a sharp, slightly urinous edge I just can’t overlook. It’s a note that, for some, can evoke something disturbingly close to a nursing home (likely due to compounds like para-cresol or phenylacetic acid). In combination with the jasmine, which normally feels indulgent and familiar to me, it blooms into something pungent and jarring in the heat… which was exactly the setting I’d hoped to wear it in. It’s a shame, really, because the base is undeniably beautiful, creamy, tropical, and sophisticated. But that stinging floral twist keeps it solidly in the “what could have been” category for me.

Анонім★★★★★

Choose your fighter in the huge category of "gala florals", and I chose this one. Iridescent, but not overly complicated. It's individual, of course, but for me it's the perfect dose of sweetness that isn't cloying. A little exotic, just a little bit, just a wink. No harsh base, no controversial itchy synthetic ingredients, no soapiness or indole. Such elegant luxury for special occasions. Some sentimental classic hint makes it not boring, but attractive. As if "my mother had something like this". Classic, but not vintage. Top quality, the bottle is wonderful, well-balanced bouquet, excellent longevity and sillage - 10 out of 10. I really have no questions about what I paid for.

Анонім★★★★★

This is a HEAVY and intense white floral. Personally, I think its overwhelming and mature, though it would be pretty on an older woman.

Анонім★★★★★

I already had Rouge Malachite which I love, but this was also an instant love! I had to add it to my collection immediately! I didn’t expect to like this one due to the Petitgrain note which can come off really sharp, but I don’t actually smell it in this one either. This is weaker than Rouge Malachite, although I feel this one needs the heat to really shine. It’s absolutely beautiful, just like its sister. A stunning blend of creamy, comforting white and yellow florals. I hate orange notes, but it’s also done so well here that I can’t detect it. There is an uplifting, bright and happy vibe to this though, which I think comes from the citrus's. I’d say Rouge Malachite is the spicy, sexy one for cool weather. Vert Malachite is the perfect comforting, happy one for warm or hot seasons. I do wish it wasn’t so expensive! I’ve had to put another favourite up for sale to justify buying this one, but I’m so pleased to have it in my collection.
