I would honestly bathe in Giorgio Armani Sì Intense (the black bottle) if I could. I stumbled upon it about two years ago at a church thrift store—brand new, full 1.7 oz bottle, still in the box and cellophane. I paid eight dollars for it, along with a pile of other things, not even realizing what I had until I got home. When I finally sprayed it, I knew immediately: I had found my holy grail signature scent. Then I looked it up online, and my heart absolutely shattered. It’s been discontinued. This is a scent for people who actually understand sophistication. It’s dark, alluring, and unapologetically bold without trying to be. I’m not some fragrance connoisseur, but I’m pretty sure it’s that black currant note doing the heavy lifting. It’s smoky, heavenly, and honestly, it’s the epitome of sex in a bottle. There is nothing else like it, and of course, they had to stop making it. It’s a tragedy.

Bought this so long ago and i still keep reaching out for it 😔 so sad that it has been discontinued but the new si from 2025 smells almost identical

I ve got this as a Christmas present and at first I was unimpressed, but soon it grew on me. if you re looking for a soft boozy, elegant, sweet but with a twist fragrance, I suggest you give it a try. at first, it came off as one of those kind of old fragrances that are generic and I was unimpressed, but the more I wear it the more I fw it honestly. im not going to comment on the very sharp and unpleasant opening, kinda awkard coming from armani... the black currant is the most prominent, at first it s juicy and reminds me of rum, then gets smoothed out by the vanilla and woody note. there is a kind of dark-green ish feel to it, definitely from the patchouli I d say. then, the rose is more and more dominating (one of the few rose notes i can tolerate, i hate generic rose scents). it dries down really beautifully, almost like a skin scent, and it lasts quite a while, after 6-7h i could still catch a soft sniff of it, though the silleage wears out after the first hour or so and becomes rather intimate, my desk mate couldn t smell it at least (we sit next to each other in class lol). This scent paints the picture of a walk in closet of a successful business woman. It s soft yet present, elegant, but the black currant allows me even as a 19 year old to pull it off if I wear a button up heheh For any layering ideas I d suggest something with cardamom, something spicy. From my collection, it layers beautifully with Fils De Dieu du Riz et des Agrumes from ELDO. it would not make a great purchase, a safe but probably disappointing blind buy for most if you hope for something spectacular, though a safe gift for any woman ;P

I thought I wrote a review but it's not here... Anyway.. I really don't like this version. I love all the others but not this. Doesn't suit my skin I guess...

I'm disappointed with this. I love the original but this one... Not so great. Maybe it doesn't suit my skin. I love the passion version too. But I really don't like this version I keep it in my car and use it as a air freshener. Crazy or what😂

Luxurious bold composition! Mouthwatering blackcurrant jam mixed with dark opulent rose and a pinch of patchouli. So sad that it is discontinued!

Hate it. I’ve been trying to sell my bottle for 2 years dirt cheap and can’t get rid of it! I’m dropping off at a women’s shelter tomorrow with some other things. I hope someone finds some enjoyment in it.

My boyfriend, who is notoriously picky, loves this scent on me. An earthy, black currant surrounded by patchouli. Reminiscent of the cork of a red wine bottle. I was worried this would smell too mature for me, and it kind of is, but he loves it so I’ll reserve it for date nights. Update: too mature. Sold it to a lady in her 50’s who loves it

Meh. Don't cop. Got it for 10 euros and still disappointed.

That blackcurrant note...goodness me. I can't stop stuffing my nose into this. Stunning! Better than Armani Si. I never knew that I love blackcurrant in perfumes that much. That was until I smelled Armani Si intense. Looooove it!

Just got given a 50 ml bottle of this. Its a masterpiece fruitchouli in that all the notes are masterfully blended.I am surprised by how much I like it. Happy to have it in my collection.

Deep, woody black currant. It doesn’t feel syrupy like the new intense. Feels dark, rich, and sexy. Almost smells like a fine red wine.

Why did they discontinue this... ): This is actually my favorite, alongside the other one they have, Sì Passione (the red bottle one). To me, this smells like honey with hints of floral. You can wear this to work, to class, or even to bed lol it's "very easy to accept", in simple terms.

Beautiful. I agree that this is OG Si's richer, spicier, deeper sister. I'm wearing both right now to compare and they are definitely siblings. Day/night scents, or summer/winter ones. I'm wearing this right now with my yoga pants and athletic top, and I feel very glamorous!

I'm a huge fan of the original, and have had this flanker for a few years. I wear the original during the day, and this at night. They're both sexy and sophisticated. Classy, not overdone.

I got my hands on this, because it was too strong for previous owner and she put it on sale..I just love it.

The fact that they discontinued this scent is a travesty. The new Si Intense just ain’t it. I will flip a table.

Oof. This is a powerhouse of a fragrance. Definitely a nighttime scent. Blackberries overload with a nice patchouli, not dirty. Kinda smells boozy too. An absolute love! Sexy perfume through and through.

I haven't experienced this fragrance but my favorite notes are bergamot, osmanthus, vanilla, black currant, rose and ambroxan so perhaps I should! FYI: Amazon has this ($93 for 1.7 oz.) and it is the black bottle!

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who still own this fragrance. I got it as a teenager but rarely used it, it's only recently that I've started to use it more. For me it's a going out or maybe an evening date scent. It smells like a dark black currant syrup in a good way. As it dries down it the black currant fades but still lingers in the background. It becomes very aromatic, earthy and a bit spicy on a base of vanilla and wood. The artemisia note is pretty unique and I don't think I've smelled it in a perfume before but gives it this earthy touch. I usually don't like fruity scents but I think the black currant in this is not childish or too sweet. This is a witchy and mysterious perfume. I haven't smelled the newer Si intense versions but from looking at the notes this seems more complex and unique.

EDIT: I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS FRAGRANCE IS DISCONTINUED:(((((( my bottle is on its last legs, i guess i have to make it last. i’m devastated. anyone please pm me if you know of anything that smells the same or where to buy black bottle si intense this fragrance got me voted "best smelling" at work. it's sexy but not exclusive to nighttime, just a perfect balance of dark and sweet that absolutely enchants people.

I got a sample of this and it smells just like the cheapie Sofia by Sofia Vergara. It smells good, but I don’t need it since I have Sofia.

Finished my 50ml bottle today, which I bought on the 16th of Febuary 2019. I bought this bottle together with a 50ml of Lady Million Prive and Lovestory Sensuelle. When I was out for shopping I remember very clearly seeing an ad for the Umbrella Academy Season 1 outside the window of the perfume shop that day. Which I ended up binging that evening, love that show. I also remember very well when I bought it, I first wanted to try the original Si. That one I did not like at all, but Si Intense was a love at first sniff. Very atypical green fruity smell, with a hint of bitter tartiness. On my skin it always lasted a good 7+ hours and stayed a green fruity scent the whole time with small hints of floral. Its not very big on projection, even overspraying this like crazy still does not make it more then a skinscent. But thats okay to me! not everything has to be an atombomb in terms of sillage. Perfectly fine for every setting wheter its day or night, but works best in the winter/autumn seasons aka the colder weather. It also has a note of ambroxan in it, which is a note my boyfriend very much likes. My boyfriend is a bit of a hater of fragrances: they are very quickly too strong or suffocating for him. But scents with ambroxan in them he always likes very much. As somebody with a very big perfume collection (see my profile), I have documented scent reactions from fragrance lovers and haters and fragrance haters all seem to really like ambroxan. Maybe there is some science behind that, I dont know, but its my little bit of advice for everybody.
