This is amazing stuff. I recently acquired a bottle of this formulation from Depop (if you're in the US and don't know about Depop yet, it's definitely worth checking out...like anywhere else, there are fakes floating around but if you do your due diligence, you can avoid ending up with one...free shipping promo right now and sellers are using much lower prices because they aren't charged all of the seller fees like eBay/Mercari, etc.). Back to Si Intense 2021: this is a fabulous perfume. As someone who is totally into these types of deep fragrances, I knew I'd love this and I do. Like others have said, it has a deep and dark wine type of nuance to it. I was not a fan of any of the Si collection or any of the flankers. There was always some scratchy background muskiness/woodiness that I couldn't get with. I don't smell that here. Performance is good. Sillage/projection is moderate. Going by the notes alone, I was expecting a typical rosy patchouli type of fragrance which I love and can never own enough of...I would've been happy had that been what I got with this but I don't. This is a deep and resinous wine. Like a blackberry wine. I layered this today with one of my other faves, Paco Rabanne Olympea Legend. They work beautifully together as I get a heavy wine nuance with OL as well. If you can find this for a decent price (it's DCd) and if you enjoy frags like Olympea Legend, FM Portrait Of A Lady, Mancera Roses Vanille, Lancome La Nuit Tresor, I highly recommend snapping it up. It doesn't smell like any of those but I get the same type of feeling with it.

Si intense is the definition of a boss lady, she did not come to faff around, she gets the job done and more . It is a 1o over 10 for me.

Im glad i have full bottle of this beauty! I forgot i have this in my collection. I thought this is too mature smelling but no, this is sophisticated, grown perfume at its finest. Sweet jammy rose with red wine quality in it. Patchouli is not my favourite note but in this one it actually works very well! Best from the SI line imo!

I made sure I crossed seven seas and seven mountains to get the 2021 version. A grown woman like me deserves a beautiful scent. Black currant syrupy is all I get, hints of Turkish rose and sth like orris. I later realized that the orris stuff is the earthy flavor of patchouli. Let me enjoy my full bottle. I will sing a farewell song (and not repurchase it) when I am done with this bottle .

This is the grown woman version of youthful sweet perfumes. Sweet…but deeper and sexier. This could be a signature scent or just a special date night/going out perfume. The intense version makes such a difference with projection and longevity. She is a powerhouse 🔥

Be careful with this perfume if you’re sensitive to patchouli. During the first few hours (especially the first three) the patchouli note is quite strong and can feel overwhelming or even cause a headache. You can clearly smell the blackcurrant syrup, which gives the fragrance a sweet and slightly intrusive character. It’s an elegant and well-crafted scent, but not suitable for sensitive noses. If patchouli tends to bother you, this one is probably not for you.

This was a vintage-like and luxury scent. Very clean perfume, especially for older ladies. Great longevity!

This is my favorite scent that my wife wears and it was her signature as soon as she smelled it. The newest formulation is an empty of shell of the 2021 version and we have been looking for something to replace it.

With the original Si being one of my favorite fragrances, I was excited to give this one a try, but was left somewhat disappointed. Perhaps it is because I have tried tons of fragrances over the past few months, but to me this smells somewhere between the Mugler Alien and the Elie Saab Le Parfum lines. In comparison to the OG Si, this smells somewhat more peppery, and while it wasn't terrible, it definitely was not what I was expecting.

Hmm, as a fan of the OG Si, I was expecting something different from the intense version. This is quite masculine in the undertones and lacks in sweetness or fruitiness to balance out the patchouli. It does have depth and is quite warm, but it is soooo strong. True beast mode projection. It’s just not my typical vibe and is not at all what I was expecting.

I got the vial sample and gotta say the freesia and berry in the si intense 2013 are essential. Without it, this perfume is just sweet perfume. Therefore si intense 2021 lack the freshness and just sweet perfumey smell

This was my signature scent for almost 3 years and the 2023 formulation is just not great.. I'm heartbroken that they reformulated this. Super sexy, but not overpowering

Smells amazing. The lasting power is great and I can see this being even better as an autumn/winter perfume--it's VERY syrupy sweet. It has a rosé wine feel to it. Usually wear it out to dinners.

This might become my new favorite. I can't even describe how good this fragrance is. I was not expecting to love it so much. I lost count of how many compliments I received wearing this. I will always have this one in my collection. 🔥🔥 100/10

I loved the opening upon testing on my wrist so I waited and got a bottle when it went on 50% off. However, in the actual wear, meaning you sniff it in the air bubble around you rather than sniffing it right up your nose, it's just sweet champagne-y, delicate fruity without much edge, quite uncomplicated. This was not a snap judgement as I waited two years to write this review. Would still say I love sniffing it upclose off my wrist, and can't complain too much when it's half price (would so not buy it at full price)

I delayed buying this fragrance for quite a while now, but I finally got myself a 50 ml bottle and I don't regret it! To compare with the original Si: - On my skin, both have the same longevity and the same projection (so I don't think it's an "intense" version). - The blackcurrant is an addition but it directly fades away (10 min max), leaving on my skin quite the same dry down as the original Si (so you don't actually need both of them). - The original Si has vanilla in it, that one has benzoin instead, so it's vanillic but in an oriental (ambery) way. (I always say this: for me, the benzoin smells just like a dark boozy sexy vanilla!) - One big difference, the dry down on clothes: the original Si leaves a fresh springy fruity-floral trail, that one leaves a sweet dense fruity warm trail. And I like both! 8/10 for this little gem!

Got as a sample. What can I say? Way too overpriced. I don’t understand this wild excitement around this. I smell blackcurrant clearly, although I like it, in this aroma it is suffocating and gives me a headache. For a party with colleagues, it’s only suitable for a woman 50+, but not for a young girl. I don't quite understand why lately "brand" scents are so terrible and suffocating. This is not the first time I have smelled this. Moreover, it evaporates quickly, but it stinks strongly while it is “working”.

Twice as syrupy than the original. Absolutely lovely fragrance, it starts with a boozy-like blackcurrant liquor, dries down into the classic Sì EDP scent, only much stronger. I'm a sucker for Armani's Sì collection and it's a bummer that some are discontinued. I was lucky to get this as clearance. As a man I'm going to say that this is far better than the newer version of the Sì EDP intense. A pleasure in a 50ml bottle, to be used as a comfort fragrance. It's such a delight.

I used to have a dupe of the original Si, but tired of it quickly. This is gorgeous. Very syrupy and maybe a tad boozy? But, still very much has the original Si DNA. Reminds me a lot of Burberry Black in how sweet, syrupy and fruity it is - only the peach in BB is replaced with blackcurrant.

Nice, if not hugely original. Lots of rose on the opening, boosted by the freshness from the currant leaf, on a backdrop of amber/benzoin. Overall this is quite sweet, syrupy and juicy - it manages just about to stay out of falling into cloying category - still, a cold weather issue. Lovely but I’d prefer a bit more complexity and maybe dial down the benzoin a bit.

Armani you should never discontinue this beauty! Among the Si flankers I've smelt, this is the closest version to Si Le Parfum, which dare I say has the niche quality, but has also been discontinued unfortunately. Si Intense 2021 is fruity, syrupy, boozy, ambery with a rosy undertone. Despite being very sweet, it never gets juvenile. I'd say this is a younger sister of Le Parfum. Le Parfum is boozier, more ambery and less floral, which is my favourite in the Si line. I can easily tell the difference between the 2023 intense version and this version. The former is more vanilla forward, which to me smells very similar to La Belle. This version has more depth, more grown-up, maybe thanks to the resinous quality from the benzoin and booziness brought by the fermented fruits. Not saying the 2023 version is bad. It's still pleasant, but I definitely prefer the 2021 version. I was almost about to sell it before knowing it's been discontinued and luckily changed my mind. Now I even just bought a backup lol. Please get it when you can at a reasonable price. The only problem for me is it doesn't project much, but has good longevity.

@loves2read I just got a bottle of Si Intense and I was wondering if maybe I got a bad bottle. I can't smell anything at all even if I douse myself in it

Hmmm . I can smell the original dna in this intense version but it’s quite different at first . This is creamier and sweeter reminds me of the og si mixed with Burberry goddess or kayali wedding silk santal . The dry down is closer to the og but it seems like it is a sweet nectar version . I like it. . I really liked the first one too . This reminds me quite a bit of the korres coconut guava body cream . This might end up being fb worthy or I might pick up a regular si, it’s been years since I wore that one . It is different than a lot of the other scents I think .
