This is my first from Khadlaj, but I’m really impressed. It is very nicely balanced, perfect blend between melon and coconut. It is not super sweet and somewhat aquatic at the same time. Considering that I got it for less than 30 EUR, it is amazing!
Sharp citrus with creamy coconut and marine touches make for a classy unisex summer scent. This is supremely wearable and would be great on anyone in hot and humid weather. Very unisex, you probably need to enjoy a coconut note to enjoy this. Great price point.
I blind bought this based on the reviews but it’s nothing like beach walk, virgin island water or Soleil Blanc. This is very much a marine forward scent with florals in the background. It reminds me more of Isla Coco by Ledda, just not as good. It has a sharpness to it from the Petitgrain, which is currently the most dominating note. I’ll give it some time to settle, but for now this is a fail for me.
I bought Bossa for the first time in 2023, during my very first trip to Lisbon. The scent perfectly captures the feeling of being in Portugal in summertime — where at every step you can sense the salty, swirling sea breeze intertwining with the sweet vanilla aroma of pastéis de nata. This is the kind of perfume that can only truly shine in a warm, humid, tropical climate. It’s not meant for spring, not for autumn, and definitely not for winter — applied in cold weather, it vanishes within thirty minutes. Bossa simply isn’t compatible with the chill. It was made to lift your mood and complement the radiant energy of sunny summer days.
I wanted to like this so bad based on the notes but I just couldn't connect with it, the opening was fresh, nutty and slightly lactonic but after a while it became pure sunscreen. there was so much potential for it to be something I'm interested in but there's no marine notes that I can detect, I could only smell it by pressing my nose to my skin after half an hour but the eventual dry down isn't too exciting to smell anyway. you can achieve the same smell by just... being at a beach
I wish perfumes were like JENGA.....where I could *carefully* remove a peg/scent/note and slide in a different one. That's the case with *BOSSA*. If I could slide out the coconut note and slide in (thinking.....hmmmm) rice (!) that would be nice. This is my personal taste....my choice. I understand - having coconut in a Tropical / Summery perfume called *Bossa*...I'm just not a fan of coconut. (I affectionally call it COCONOT). I love Lorenzo Pazzaglia's *SPEACHLESS*. I sniffed it and bought a bottle; no way if it had coconut. Same with Spiritica's very wonderful) *MANGOMACUMBA*. Super-Duper > No coconut.
Given the notes, it will remind you of already existing fragrances. However, I’d like to point out that the marine notes are much more prominent than in Soleil Blanc or Beach Walk. This to me smells like laying on the sand and air drying after being in the sea for what feels like forever. The result on the skin is tiny specks of salt from the sea water drying. I love it. It fresh, citrusy, immediately reminds you of a holiday. It’s also perfectly unisex
Wonderful! Reminds me a lot of Soleil Blanc and Virgin Island Water, but leans more toward the latter, which I consider the better of the two. The Tom Ford is slightly more harsh, but I still enjoy it for the fun sun lotion vibe. Like the Creed, Bossa is less like sun lotion, but still wonderfully tropical and summery, and very nicely balanced. Fantastic value considering it's half the price of those two but at least their equal in quality. My new poolside go-to, a perfect vacation fragrance.
this is adjacent to replica's beach walk
picture this: you're on the beach, it's a hot day; not unbearably so, but just enough that you feel the heat and your skin is clammy, and as much as you want to just go splash around in the sea, you're drinking a really nice caipirinha, or maybe it's coconut water. a gentle wind cools you, and you think that if you could, you'd stay forever. this is bossa, to me. perhaps the only scent that's ever made me feel like this, made me picture something so vivid and so comforting. surprisingly long lasting (it's been 10 hours since i sprayed it and i can still faintly smell it on my wrists) and just so, so delicious and comfortable. lovely, lovely. instant favorite.
this is a hyperrealistic representation of a beachday. It opens with fresh citrus and petit grain, giving it that slightly bitter cologne vibe. then it warms up on my skin into a creamier, slightly lactonic (like lotion) and floral citrusscent. It has a warm sweetness that's almost a little bit vanillic, I'm guessing it's the frangipani and coconut mix. Then, salty notes blend in with the creamy, floral and citrus notes creating a scent that resembles seawater that dried on skin in the sun and a subtle suncream scent, although the freshness of the citrus remains present the whole time. Overall, the scent smells very high quality and natural, like salty skin, sunlotion and floral lemony goodness! I expected it to be less heavy on the flowers though and a bit more creamy/coconutty. Also, the projection is moderate and it will fade into a skinscent after about 2 hours (although it lasts forever on clothes), but my god, for the price the quality is amazing!
It opens a very tasty and pungent citrus fresh, soon arrives a lactonic and sweet coconut nuance that brings a warmth to the fragrance. Luckily this warmth and sweetness don't dominate the fragrance but they are there, I must say that I expected something super fresh for torrid hot days and that's not quite the case. Still, the floral part and a clean musk returns a little more softness and freshness to the perfume. I must say that Bossa is a delight of perfume, the best of Granado, in the midst of a lot of irrelevant perfumes in its portfolio. Ahhh ... Cécile Zarokian, you are too good; Without a doubt, one of the best noses in active today.
My God!! When I smelled it for the first time I KNEW I’d get addicted to it. It’s a fancy, delicate, smooth citrus with a small hint of coconut. The sea notes here open up the fragrance, giving it an airy feeling, and the flowers give it a punch of a lazy sunday morning (not the MM perfume) in a beach during a scalding hot summer! It’s lovely, really. Can’t believe it costs only 160BRLs (around 30 dollars). This is INCREDIBLE, especially if you’re going to the beach. Oh, and I must say: there’s a hint of something like the sugary citruses used in Bvlgari Wood Essence. I do think this one’s better, though, as there’s only a small resemblance.
A bit too citrusy for my taste - there is coconut but its barely there. Very similar to TF Soleil Blanc!
This is "kinda" similar to Eau Soleil Blanc, but ever so slightly more tropical fruity and the Tiare is the dominant floral note, ...where as Eau Blanc is a good blend of solar flowers and tuberose and less fruity. Wearing both on my arms, it seems Eau Blanc is more a true "gender neutral" unisex blend and more classy-mature. Where as Bossa is ever so slightly more feminine and youthful. A couple hours in: The more it dries down, this smells very lactonic creamy floral. Almost like a floral hand lotion. Not suntan lotion, but actual hand creme. For sure leans a lot more feminine than anticipated.
I haven't even considered an EDT since purchasing my first bottle of Layton, which started me on the journey of Niche perfume. I smelt this in Liberty, it smelt wonderful, I looked at the notes, yep, this was a bit of me. I then looked at the price £65. Wait what? I thought, let me sample this and do some window shopping. It was a joy, it was only when I went back to make the purchase that I realised it was an EDT, so the price made more sense. This stuff is lovely and will get plenty of guilt free sprayige this summer.
Agree with most of what's already been said. Opens up with a strong lime/lime rind note, the middle is very similar to Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance minus the white florals, dries down to a clean musk that lasts for hours.
