Tobacco Honey

This is indeed tobacco honey. Very! Its a thrillingly potent rich honeycomb with strong, warm, dry tobacco. There's nothing else to it really. i love this. Its just a simple plain honey and tobacco. Linear and dull for some, but ideal on a summer day for me. Undoubtedly strong projection and longevity, works in high or low temperatures. Is it worth the price? probably not, but most fragrances aren't. I got a sample size and i'm just enjoying that. Its a beautiful honey with tobacco, simple as you like. 8/10 for me

I am convinced half of the people in here have no clue what synthetic even means. Maybe my guess is you definitely didn't have your nose on this but some terrible clone. Anyway, this is the most natural smelling honey accord I have ever smelled in perfumery. Fairly straightforward honey and a dry natural tobacco, no hint of oud to my nose and faint vanilla at the base. Very strong sillage and longevity especially on clothing is eternal. The quality is top notch here and despite being linear it's an all time great from the best house in the business. No hesitation even at this price point.

I do enjoy wearing it in the right occasion but it’s much too linear and synthetic for the price imo

This is, without a second of hesitation, my favorite fragrance in my collection. It has an incredibly addictive, hyper-realistic honey scent while also being an astonishing technical achievement. If you open a real jar of honey, it has almost no smell. Yet with this fragrance, there's absolutely no doubt that what you're smelling is honey—and I honestly have no idea how they managed to recreate it so convincingly. The performance is outstanding. It lasts for hours and projects exceptionally well. It's truly a masterpiece. It is very expensive, but I love it so much that it became the first fragrance in this price range that I bought without any hesitation. From time to time, the brand offers a 50 ml version on its website, which is the one I purchased. That's more than enough for a fragrance that's unmistakably made for winter and special occasions. If I had to pick the perfect fragrance to wear to Christmas dinner, this would be it.

I went perfume shopping with a long time friend today, and while I wanted to smell Cuir Béluga, he picked Tobacco Honey up and put it on a tester. It smelled so good I urged him to put it on his wrist. I kept on asking him to give me his wrist so I could smell this beautiful fragrance. The honey note is spectacular and extremely realistic, but absolutely not cloying to me. There's something darker in there, the tobacco is definitely playing its part. After 1-2 hours of walking in the sun, the fragrance mixed with his sweat made me kinda feral. Would recommend.

Rich honey and a little tobacco. It sits there, not screaming out from my skin. Very linear and a bit boring. IMO there are better honey fragrances out there. The honey is sweet and realistic, but the tobacco barely shows up, for my disappointment.

I have to battle with this perfume everyday. It’s so moreish and addictive, I could wear this every single day without a second thought.

It’s just honey, honey and more honey. Extremely linear but thankfully feels extremely luxurious. Best straight up honey I’ve smelt, so if you like honey this’ll be a win, if you don’t, avoid. Good projection with a very dense cloud, not very airy at all. It is what it is. Oh, and if you were wondering, yes it’s better than tobacolor.

I’m not sure what others are smelling in the minority when they say body for odour, from the tobacco or sickly sweet mess. Maybe the notes just pull too bitter on you on me it’s lovely! This is divine! IRS hone with a well balanced sweet clean tobacco and Tonka dry down. The spices ground it so the honey is not too sickly but it’s all very balanced and smooth. This is 💯 unisex but not really for hotter weather.

I don’t pick up any tobacco notes. Only honey. Overall, a big disappointment.

This blew me away. I usually HATE a tobacco note. I never thought I’d even like any tobacco-forward fragrances, let alone fall head over heels in love with one. It’s just so well balanced with this thick, gorgeous, golden honey note it manages to be both cozy and addictive. The perfect winter fragrance, dark and sexy but super chic… you just want to keep smelling it, which fortunately you do ‘cause it lasts forever on skin and has great projection. Can’t wait to get my full bottle of it.

I’ve fallen in a pot of honey and I can’t get out. The honey is thick, golden, and photorealistic, but not like anything you’d find in a supermarket jar. This feels raw, as though it were taken straight from the hive. If you’ve ever spent any time around bees, you’ll know that fresh, unpasteurised honey has an almost medicinal, herbal quality to it. It’s waxy and floral, as though you can detect the pollen from the flowers that served the bees during its production. The purest honey can even come across a little animalic, but less so here. Instead, it’s heady and resinous, in a way that reminds you this is a perfume, not that you’ve fallen face-first into a hive. I find myself searching for the tobacco leaf, warm spices, and woods that might lend it depth and character, transforming an otherwise simple indulgence into something more compelling. Search as I may, there is no doubting that this is first and foremost a honey perfume, with everything else taking a back seat. As it settles, the florals become more apparent, and they are absolutely key to preventing the composition from collapsing into a big sticky mess.

i don't know what batch everyone else got but this smells like someone skipped their shower, thought about it, and then sprayed perfume over it hoping god wouldn't notice. that specific kind of funky. i came to fragrantica expecting validation and instead found 50 reviews about rich honey and warm tobacco like we did not smell the same thing. i genuinely respect the confidence. some of us have noses and we are actively using them. not everything expensive smells good and guerlain said hold my wine. hard pass, keep the change.

If this was the first niche perfume I ever smelled I’d take my ass back to Sephora and never look back. A disgusting cloying sticky heady mess. I consider myself not sensitive to perfume and I’m literally nauseous typing this.

This was one of the biggest surprises in the discovery set for me. From the first spray, the honey was the star. It smelled rich, warm, golden, and almost spicy rather than sugary. I immediately understood why this fragrance has such a devoted following. The tobacco was interesting. I didn't dislike it, and I could absolutely see why it was included. Without it, the fragrance might have become too sweet. The tobacco adds depth and keeps the honey feeling sophisticated rather than sticky. That said, the honey was always my favorite part of the composition. As the fragrance developed, I found myself wishing the tobacco played a slightly smaller role. There was something deep in the base that became a little harsh when I inhaled it closely. It wasn't enough to ruin the fragrance, but it kept me from completely falling in love with it. Projection seemed stronger than the other fragrances in the set, and this definitely felt like a sexy evening scent. Confident, warm, and attention-grabbing. While I don't think I could wear it every day, I enjoyed it far more than I expected to and it sparked a new interest in exploring honey fragrances. Overall, this was a strong like for me. The honey is beautiful, and while the tobacco isn't my favorite supporting note, I understand exactly why it's there.

I take back my review. This product has the sharpest smelling tobacco ever on the dry down. It Has a sharpness to it like you’re smelling a rose lol. Smell is subjective but the dry down to me smells like body odor, even when you apply this to paper. Like someone rubbed their sweaty groin against it and you just took a whiff 4 hours later.

“ Masterpiece” The most perfect gourmand ever created on planet earth. Expertly blended, compliment monster. Lasts forever. Guerlain hit it out of the park with this one. Scent 100/10 Performance 100/10.

I got a sample of this perfume and I loved it. It was so warm, rich and the honey smelled like real honey but at the same time it wasn't disgustingly sweet thanks to tobacco. If sprayed on clothes, it lasted on for a day and even more. I loved it and I wanted to buy it, but for me the price is too high. This perfume gives a lot of comfort to those who smell it. I liked always having under my nose this idea of warmth and happiness.

Okay the hype is real guys. I was a little skeptical at first cause sometimes a fragrance gets gassed up for no reason. But Tobacco Honey is unbelievable. Smells like ultra high quality honey with a resinous and seductive vibe beneath it all Not cloying or sickly sweet which was my biggest concern. Projection is literally nuclear so don’t go over 2 sprays, max 3. Fills a room easily and I can imagine this being too loud and obnoxious if you overspray. Less is more with this one. Sillage is magical and it just keeps projecting for several hours until it becomes a skin scent after 8-10 hours It’s a show stopper and people will ask what you’re wearing. Already happened to me (using my decant). I know it’s not about the money but you can smell that it’s not some cheap cologne you got at your local discounters. Blended to perfection and beautifully executed. Unisex straight down the middle for me I get the comparison to Tobacco Vanille but they are still different enough that I would love to own both. Basically one is focused on honey and the other one vanilla. How simplistic that may sound but that’s kind of what I get. I refuse to choose between the two. They are both extraordinary in their own ways Well done Guerlain. The best in their private line for me, neck and neck with Tonka Sarrapia which I need to test a little more on skin before judging. But as far as Tobacco Honey goes, it’s a 10/10. Fellas if you are looking for a date night fragrance for the cooler weather then look no further. Thank me later

I suppose I'm the 1 in 1,000,000 that thinks this smells horrible. It is absolutely because of the tobacco. It smells like musty gym funk. I've tried twice fresh out of the shower to give this a chance and both times same results. Funky tobacco and with the honey makes it smell like mildew. And I personally think people are convincing themselves that this smells good because it's Guerlain, and there's so much hype around it, so people jump on the bandwagon. So all you see are reviews of, this has so much "depth" and "character" BULLSHIT!!!. The character is a homeless chain smoker in the woods who found a honeycomb on a tree and ate it to survive. There's your character. I'm hoping one day these houses stop adding these awful heavy notes like tobacco and oud to notes that are sweet assuming that it is good. IT'S NOT!! I will give credit to Guerlain for their extraction process though. The notes they list are the notes you get. Absolute PASS for me!!!

Soooooooo sickeningly sweet on me until about 2 hours out from spraying and then it becomes tolerable….but still sweet. Dries down to a slightly powdery earthy buckwheat honey sweetness.

Reading these reviews I'm really surprised that people are just easily saying that this smells bad. I think the honey is super nice and 5 minutes after spraying, the vanilla & tobacco start coming in (on my skin). Kinda linear, but it smells good. Absolutely wouldn't buy it for this price point though, no way. But I would keep a decant around for sure. Naxos would be my go to honey and if I feel a bit more brave, then Sadonaso :D

11/10. One of my favourite fragrances ever Honey is a tricky note. I love honey a lot, but it’s usually done weirdly in my opinion. This one is a photorealistic honey with its stickiness, thickness and sweetness not being disturbed by anything. It’s just perfect! And I enjoy the base also. Guerlain does such a scary note as oud so well. Real masterclass Absolute beast mode. Can smell it in my skin the next day. It’s a good investment. Very strong, bossy yet sweet, unique unisex scent

This is outstanding for what it is. It's nothing you wouldn't expect from the description, but it really is done extraordinarily well. That said, it's one of those situations where the performance is so impressive that a decant will pretty much last you a lifetime. If you're really after a trophy bottle, by all means go for it, but otherwise maybe grab a 10 ml and see if you don't still have some left in a couple years.

Sweet honey and tobacco, very strong and lasts a long time. Smells very masculine to me, so I'm going to give it to my dad.

Fell in love with this scent when Guerlain sent me a sample after ordering a repurchase of L'Instant. It is straight up what it sounds, the smooth tobacco takes second to the smoky honey as they immediately pull you in. I gifted to it my love and all the ladies he worked with couldn't stop asking why he smelled so good, this is the type of fragrance that turns your head when someone walks by with it on. Sophisticated scent, it just makes you smell handsome. One spray is enough, he has pulled sweaters out of the wash still smelling of Tobacco and Honey. Unfortunately I have never bought a full sized bottle of this because the price is absolutely outrageous, but honestly because of the sillage, mere samples will last you forever.
