upon first sniff of the opening on my hand, i immediately think to myself "mb legend mix with boss edt" hours later thats exactly what this is
Nose Note #1093 The opening 2-3 minutes give me Armand Basi In Red nail polish vibes... After that it's the classic Boss Bottled, but with less emphasis on apple-cinnamon combo and with lavender added. Not like Sedley at all. I don't quite see why people vote for Sedley. Sedley is a citrus forward fragrance with a mint note. Bottled Infinite is built around the lavender-apple-cinnamon combo. It's like comparing Boss Bottled to Layton. Yes, they are sort of similar, but that's it. You could substitute Layton with Boss if you just want something warm with apple and cinnamon. Personally, I really like it. Not as much as Boss Bottled, but still. It's a faithful flanker. Not very memorable, but a damn reach. Performance definately could be better, just like with all Bottled flankers. 7.5/10
Like a fresher, everso slightly blue version of the old school Burberry for Men from 1995. It is such a soft, velvety textured lavender freshness that smells so put together, coupled with a hint of warm apple pie woven throughout. Very enjoyable.
It's possible that I just go nose blind to this way too easily, but I'm extremely disappointed in the performance. It smells pretty good, nothing unique or that would stand out (I definitely get the A&F Fierce vibes), but it turns into a skin scent in about 30 minutes to my nose. Totally fine if you're running down the street to get gas and back, but I can't rock this as a daily scent because it'll be gone by the time I drive to work.
I can smell mostly lavender and less sandalwood, all the rest is a typical sweet manly 'designer' smell. I don't know how to describe it any better because I rarely ever use or even test these kinds of mass appealing scents so I am a bit wrong person reviewing it. But I just happen to have a bunch of these designer testers that I once bought when I started with my exploration in the scent world and today I just decided to grab a random one from those. Nevertheless, I marked it as 'like' because it is better than just 'ok'. Most importantly, it isn't repulsive as Sauvage was and I believe there are many such nice surprises from that set of testers. It's probably the lavender that gives me the impression or memory of (some) Luna Rossa that I tested a while ago. In total: I wouldn't go outside having this on (just like with many of my scents, they're a private pleasure as I call them) but it's good anyway; a tester amount is enough for me. Technical note: this was put in a splash (not spray) vial and I noticed a strange thing: there was a pinkish-purple goo around the neck of the vial, not much of course, probably because it has been waiting like that for 3 years. It didn't smell at all, it was just strange, most probably a specific component that couldn't stay inside.
This is a cologne for summer fall time. Great office cologne. Point scale 1-10, 10 being the best and 1 the worst. Presentation- 6 typical boss bottle, I like the blue Scent - 7 good opening, dry down a shower gel smell Projection - 7 good for the 1-2 hour Longevity - 6 about 5 hours I would say it like a EDT even doe it says EDT OVERALL - 6.5/ 10 Would I buy it again - for the price I would say there are better blue colognes out there. This is my opinion.
This such a nice crispy clean scent. Sentimental value for me and my wife since I had it when I met her, but it's really good a tiny bit synthetic and sadly not great performance. 8/10
This is definitely one of the better boss bottled fragrances. You could have this and the original and move on. Safe blind buy. It is strong!
I smelled this at macys and almost payed retail price for it because I loved it so much. I get a less sweet and more mature version of ysl y in this. It’s soapy fresh and clean, a touch of spice in the dry down. Found a brand new sealed bottle for 50$ on a discounter, I think it was like 140$ at macys 😂
If you mashed Boss Bottled and Boss Bottled Night together you would get Boss Bottled Unlimited. It has the classic BB DNA but also has that watery dark floral thing of Night, such a great fragrance!
Has a really nice clean and fresh opening, the apple gives it a juicy smell and the cinnamon works really nicely . I dont really smell any orange. Turns into a warm lavendery smell when it dries down which i feel is mass appealing. Very safe scent, you can pretty much wear this for anything, like going to the gym, going out for errands, out with the boys, university etc. Does not last long enough for an edp in my opinion. The scent bubble is decent for maybe 1-2 hours, then it becomes pretty weak after that. Still noticeable but no where near as strong.
There's a lot of talk about blue frags smelling like shower gel, but this smells EXACTLY like a generic blue shower gel I used to use in 2011. It's fine for throwing on to go run errands when you just want to smell nice in a nondescript way.
A classic fragrance for me, this was the third bottle I ever got and the first one I really enjoyed. (The first two being Sauvage and 1 Million) So I am definitley going to be biased here, but I do think this is one that everyone should at the very least try. The opening is very fresh and aromatic, the apple cinnamon combo smells like you sprinkled cinnamon on a freshly cut apple, I do not get much orange in the opening maybe just some zest. As it dries down, thats when the florals and greens come in giving it that fougere/barbershop smell that just makes you smell like a man thats got his shit together. Unfortunatley, this fragrance does not last very long on my skin. The opening lingers around for about an hour and then it becomes a skin scent for the next 2-4 hours and thats with heavy sprays. This feels more like an EDT
Opens with a very aromatic, savory, and cool scent from the sage and rosemary, with some fruitiness underneath. I couldn't immediately tell there was apple due to the thickness added by the cinnamon. The opening reminds me of a car's leather interior soaked in cold AC air. The drydown is pleasant, but I couldn't fully appreciate it as it did not last for very long before fading. It's alright if you like the scent, but you'd have to re-apply every two hours or so. ☑️Average
It was pretty meh to me. Regular freshie that is one amongst many similar ones. Hugo Boss sure makes their fragrances become a skin scent pretty fast too lol.
I like the fresh opening at first ..... super fresh ...... I just wish it would stay that way through out....... But the dry down turns into an Abercrombie type smell. 5 out of 10.
Citrusy apple and sage open the fragrance for me, adding cinnamon a bit later in the open. It's therefore not so much an apple pie like the Bottled EDT for me, more herbal and less sweet initially. As the scent progresses into the heart the herbal notes increase with a lovely blend of lavender and rosemary. The impression I get again is less apple pie and more making Thanksgiving preparations for stuffing a delicious turkey...in this case, I'm the turkey, but it's quite lovely. The base is soft green woods; the olive is dominant to the sandalwood in a way that makes it difficult to distinguish multiple woods, while providing a sense of new growth on trees that blends in with previous rosemary and sage notes for an gentle woody and herbal dry down that quietly shifts blue after it becomes a skin scent (unlisted ambroxan?). I know this is geared more towards Spring/Summer but I actually think Spring/Fall in-between seasons is where it will shine the most. It's a fantastic scent; I just would worry how it fares in high heat.
It smells a lot like Abercrombie Fierce Night.
In my opinion, this scent can be summarized as follows: Imagine you've just stepped out of the shower on a summer day, sitting half-naked on the couch, leaning back, and smelling the fresh scent of shower gel on your skin. Isn't that a nice fantasy? But there's something unsettling about it. At the opening, cinnamon masks the scent a bit and overwhelms the other notes. Within a few hours, the lavender-apple-mandarin trio forms an aquatic note. I can't say it's very good or very bad. As someone who has tried similar blue perfumes from lower-end brands, I detected many similar scent notes. So yes, I bought a cheaper perfume and experienced a similar scent. Therefore, I was a little disappointed, but I still can't say it's bad. It's nothing special, but I'd recommend trying it before buying. Boss Unlimited perfume is a bit safer and fresher in comparison.
People who say this is a generic shower gel are equivalent to Russell Westbrook Stans in the 2010’s who read box scores but didn’t watch games The ultimate fragrance to spot a fake hardcore. It’s pleasant af - you could wear this meeting your girlfriend’s dad for the first time. trustworthy type scent Goes from airy purple ->dries down into blue -> settles into light “blue vanilla”
The scenic route to a familiar destination. You take the cap off, smell the atomiser, and think this is another run of the mill blue "shower gel-esque" fragrance. But spend a bit of time with it on skin and you realise it's anything but. Forget the tried and trusted citrus into cedar combo, the only thing typical here is the lavender mid note. And it's not long before that takes a back seat to the distinctly savoury olive note. If this had LV written on the bottle, that olive note would be glazed to the heavens and praised as innovative and outside the box. Frequently on sale for well below typical designer prices (£40 for 100mL), this is a great pick up. Only gripe is the performance is average at best, but at the price available, just re apply or overspray as needed.
Really good blue frag definitely better than many other blue frags. On my wishlist.
Does anyone think it smells a bit like Aromatix Magnetiq?
Why does this get so much hate? I really don’t understand, this is one of the most unique blue designer fragrance if not the most unique that I have smelled. It smells fantastic, Louis Vuitton could copy this DNA and sell it and it would do numbers. It smells like it should cost way more than it is. Overall i’m giving this a 9/10, not only can you wear this as an everyday driver, you can dress up for this as well. It could also work all year round too. In my opinion this is a sneaky good designer fragrance that should be talked about more.
This is a straight 0/10 for me. Still have an almost full bottle from when it first released years ago. Yuck
Same DNA as Bottled (No.6) Much more longevity. Fresh but not that much as No.6. Less apple note, nearly 0 citruses. Very prominent note of lavender and olive tree. Masculine everyday fregnance. In my opinion suit type, but is not bad for a gym also.
Great blue, fresh shower type vibe with an olive tree twist. Safe for the gym or daily use.
Very nice smelling fragrance, fresh. Nothing to special but can’t go wrong with this. Longevity is good 8 hours on my skin, only downside is the projection is weak, but it’s cheap so what can you expect. Worth picking up as a every day use and soft scent for like business/ meetings / work.
This is way better than I expected. This is one of those fragrances that hides away on you and then starts to pump during physical activity, if you start to sweat at all this will come back out of the woodworks and start projecting. It has some good lasting power but you'll go nose blind within a half hour or so. Don't be fooled, others around you will pick this up for 6 to 8 hours. Regardless of what fragrantica's similar fragrances list would have you believe, it doesn't smell like Sedley, but if you like Sedley you'll like this. It doesn't have the soapy accord at all. It just evokes a similar vibe to Sedley. If you like the original Boss Bottled (#6) you'll like this. The best way I can describe it is that it is a fresh, yet also more intense take on the original Boss Bottled. It retains the entire same scent profile as the original, only toned down (or just overshadowed?). It adds on a quite pleasant lilac + lavender and faux-blue woodiness which wraps around the original bottled core of spiced apple vanilla. Overall it's not anything crazy special but it isn't trying to be. It knows what it is and it excels at being what it is. I can see you throwing this on before a fun night out at a dive bar or to see live music or get up to some other nightlife. Maybe not "clubbing" but any other lower key nightlife this will work great for. You could just as easily wear this to work, perhaps on a daily basis. It won't fatigue anyone except those who are hypersensitive to synthetic fragrances. Most people will go nose blind before they start to get annoyed if they are spending much time around you at once.
Y EDP if it was good.
