Boss Intense

You can easily pick up all the notes. To me it just smells like any mature woman. Nothing really stands out about it. If youre not looking for anything unique its a nice scent.

Fresh, floral and sensual. A perfect fit for autumn, but universal. It prolonges out-of-shower feel adding sensual depth to floral shower gel or shampoo. I find it impossible to recognize the parts creating this blend. They are all melted into new sensation. Maybe amber I recognize. Floral notes in the heart - abstract rose mixture. And with my nose to my wrist - a blend of warm spices, but this is just a facet of the creation. It is beautiful. Always reminds me of Boss Deep Red but more floral. It has a presence and lasts long It reminds me of Amor Amor, like Deep Red. A very good companion, close to love. Very comfortable on.

Perhaps I got my hopes up at first, maybe I thought this perfume would warm differently on my skin… I imagined a vanilla-heavy amber with a gentle touch of rose. Instead, on me it blooms almost entirely into rose and something like black pepper or coriander.

I love this scent so much, my mom gave it to me for my 13th and i've been wearing it almost daily, its warm, sweet, sexy, got alot of compliments and it stays for a long time, definitely one of my favourite scents ever, PLEASE tell me if you find a dupe to this frag.

The first thing that I noticed about Hugo Boss Intense is that well, it’s not that intense. It’s nice, but not a $100 or more a bottle nice. So I will just savor what little I have and maybe someday find a dupe. The notes are pretty basic so I don’t think it will be hard to find a dupe. I can smell all the notes in Boss Intense except for rose.

I had a dupe of this perfume when I was around 10 - C-Thru Black Diamonds. It was definitely not suitable for that age :D I recently got a bottle of Hugo Boss Intense and upon spraying it, I was reminded of the C-Thru. To me it's as if the Hugo Boss smells of the C-Thru, though the C-Thru is the dupe :D Now, of course, the scent profile suits me a lot better. It's very warm, sexy, it has character. It does smell a tiny bit dated to me, but not to the point where I wouldn't wear it.

Oh, I miss this perfume so much. A few years ago I managed to get my hands on 15ml decant and have savoured it for years. Spicy, warm, a little powdery but not in an old fashioned way. The patchouli is lovely, sweet & earthy. It’s such a beautiful scent, so unique. I’ve managed to find a shop that has a dupe, so I ordered it, reviews of it on their website seem good. I’ll update when it gets here. I have about 5ml of the original left so I can do a side by side comparison. *edited: tried the dupe (black point perfumes) it’s very very similar. BP version is lighter but very long lasting, lasts on my skin for at least 5 hours and on clothes until the next day. It has the same scent just a little lighter, not as deep and rich. It’s very good though!

This was the fragrance that started me off on my fragrance obsession. I got a half bottle while working in a charity shop (goodwill/thrift store). I knew nothing about fragrances but I smelled this and fell in love, I wanted to get a full bottle to find out it's discontinued! If anyone can recommend anything even close to this please let me know

I miss this perfume - a lot. I'm so sad it's gone. I have a small amount in a bottle, which I won't use. Its amazing and it suits me. Went through at least 6 bottles. Its now selling for up to £150 for half used bottles on ebay. I wish they'd bring it back.

I absolutely love this perfume. I don't wear any other kind. I'm not one for perfume and don't like the smells of most, but this stuff.......oh it's heavenly. Everyone I have introduced this to says it smells amazing. My husband loves when I wear it. Only thing that kinda sucks, is the price. I do wish it was a little bit cheaper.

A masculine, spiced, peppery vanilla, bubblegum orange blossom with sandalwood. Dries down to a cheap, generic men's deodorant. I don't like it.

This was my first fragrance (at 15) and I loved it so much. I felt like a woman wearing it even though I was a girl. It's a super warm, sensual, sexy scent that is not too overpowering but has a great staying power. I wore it during fall-winter.

In the Stars mixed with White Pumkin Chai by bathandbodyworks is probably the closest dupe for this

I see this frag is much loved, I was expecting something a bit more heavy and masculine. There is a twinge of masculinity in the opening, a sort of minty spicy feeling, but overall it is a lot less spicy than I thought it would be. It's a soft, sensual floral, a little old school to my nose, not the distinct notes of today, more of a well blended, almost soapy, floral. It's not one I would instantly love personally but I will try it a few more times as things can definitely grow on you, and my nose is still figuring out the charms of this one. Not picking up any one distinct note here. A year later....really lovely mix, sensual, rosey, woody, spicy. Very unisex. Many notes I love, although not what you would expect looking at them - much more blended and less distinct like the niches of today. Still gorgeous but not one I would buy - you can get much more evocative sharp scents these days.

Today-on Blue Monday- I received a full new bottle of the discontinued Intense !! Hooray, so it has become Blissful Monday after all. Thank you ‘perfumesofthepast’ for stil having this gem in your collection!

Oh, man...I had this in my early college years and LOVEDDDDD this perfume!!! I think I went through 2 or 3 bottles. Interestingly enough, I just tested YSL Libre earlier tonight on some strange whim and was immediately transported back to like 2002 when I wore this - lol! Unfortunately, the longevity and dry down of Libre is nowhere near as good as Hugo Boss Intense, but I swear it's a very close vibe, nearly the exact same masculine-sexy-vanilla that I adored from Hugo Boss Intense. If you're looking for something similar to Boss Intense, give Libre a whirl!

I absolutely love this perfume!!!! But since it has been discontinued it’s hard to find a bottle. Do any of you beautiful ladies have suggestions of something similar?

This was my first blind buy and it went great. It was really intense, I can't remember anything stronger than this one. One day I went to store where my friend works and she said to me: all room is filled with your perfume. Too bad I can't find it anymore. Smell was divine, romantic, playful.

Ok listen to the Kake song, short skirt and a long jacket. Well the woman he is singing about wears this. There is spices, and vanilla and what I always thought of as a black leather note. It is warm, sensual, and romantic. This is business suits, worn with Muck Fe pumps... Dark denim and lace. Edgy and strong. Fun stuff!

I would classify this perfume as "sensual fragrance: light". It has amber, sandalwood and the heavier oils but is broken up with a vanilla. The vanilla is the most interesting thing - it is not an IN YOUR FACE overpowering vanilla. Good elements and perfect for experimenting if you usually wear fresher and more floral perfumes. But it is too lightweight for me. These days if I'm going heavy I want HEAVY with all the great sillage!

So disappointed this sophisticated sexy perfume has been discontinued. I remember my man really loved it every time I wore it on our first dates as it was my signature scent back then.

This is a nice scent, with the vanilla not being too obvious, and it's not too sweet. However, I was interested in something spicier; I took a chance because I got a fairly good deal on a partial bottle. Anyway, the florals are definitely not too strong/"feminine," and I think it's worth one more wearing before deciding to swap or sell it. It reminds me of another scent but I just can't figure out which one. I guess one could call it a "modern oriental."

For me, this one is retro sexy kind of fragrance. Deep,spicy, powerful. Great evening/night fragrance when you want to feel like a strong woman. 30 ml EDP

My All-Time Favorite Perfume! It was one of the sexiest scents of all time! I had Hugo Boss Intense gift set when i was only 16 years old(some think it was a heavy perfume for a teenage girl) but even at that time it matched me perfectly! The body lotion was also the sexiest thing my skin have ever felt. So sad i can't have it anymore. Intense, i miss you!

Dear Intense, When I joined Fragrantica I had smelled a single-digit number of fragrances in my life, and you were one of them. Not just one of them, you were my signature. Now, three months later, after smelling 240 other perfumes, I can conclude that there is nobody quite like you out there. If there is, your replacement still eludes me. Sure, my perception of you has changed as I have subjected my nose to so many different compositions by now. I can more clearly tell what you are made of, a feat which was unthinkable when I first got you all those years ago. I don't see you being as harsh anymore, knowing what nose-burning spices and citruses are out there. I don't find you as sweet either, after trying countless saccharine gourmands. One thing remains the same though. You are, and will always be my true signature. Your discontinuation breaks my heart.

I remembered liking it a few years back so I bought it without testing again last summer. I was a bit disappointed back then - it seemed too heavy and headache inducing. I even forgot about it for a while, but when the first cold days of fall arrived I had this amazing idea to try wearing it again. It works wonderful in cold weather! Now it's one of my favorite perfume choices from October to February. In the opening I can smell intense oriental spices and a soapy orange blossom note. Vanilla is also prominent and I get the rose, too, but it's a very subtle and smooth rose, not overpowering. What I really love is the oriental base made up of amber, musk, patchouli and sandalwood - pure perfection. This is a very sexy scent, just like everybody else said before me. It's warm and cozy, but also sensual and a true confidence booster. What I really love about it is the fact that it could easily be a unisex fragrance. A man who can pull off wearing this would be insanely attractive to me!

My mom bought teenage goth me this for Christmas when it had just come out. I don't think a lot of moms would buy such a dark and sexy perfume for a 13-year-old, but am I ever glad she did! This scent has stayed with me ever since and it is the ONLY fragrance I have ever repurchased. "Intense" is a fitting name. Intense, but never harsh. Spicy and slightly sweet, sensual, warm, mysterious and intoxicating. A first spritz gives me top notes of melon (which I seem to be rather alone in saying), the drydown is an irresistible rosy blend of cinnamon, pepper, white flowers, vanilla, patchouli and what I can only describe as magic. Not for everyone, but highly recommended.

Always loved this one,i've met it in 2005 first,and it was love at first scent,and again,because this is my luck,they don't sell it anymore,like anywhere,exactly the way it was with d&g 'by' the leopard bottled gem!But that's just the way things are and nothing can change them!only if i knew,would have bought a couple of bottles from each and just use them from time to time,but who knows what's coming next?!
