Deep Red

Sadly, this one has been reformulated in recent years. She’s DEFINITELY not as spicy, smoky or seductive.. barely a hint of musk. It’s really too bad. Somewhere along the line they’ve tamed her !!! Why??? She’s sweeter now, and still smells good, but her edge is gone. She was polarizing in the best way, before it was even cool. I’d say she’s an everyday scent now. This is NOT my Deep Red.

It's definitely weaker than the OG. It's alot sweeter than I remember too. It's lost alot of its sexy smokey sultryness. It's not as musky. Which is what I used to love about it. I repurchased for nostalgia - but I can definitely tell the difference, I've finished the bottle now and I won't buy another. Shame it was quite a powerful scent back in the day.

Got it with a huge discount 75ml for 35 euros featuring the new bottle design. It's super durable on my skin, it leaves a trail of scent around. I feel like it's quite versatile, I can see it being worn either as a casual day perfume or for a night out, very sexy and alluring. I'm really happy with this purchase, 1000% worth it :D

Seductive velvet red vibes ♥️👠💃🏻💋 The opening is citrus notes and berries with a distinct note of ginger... Blood orange and black currant are very dominant for the first hour so it smells sweet & juicyyy,, later the vanilla and sandalwood take over centre stage.. Dry down is spicy tuberose and intense musky vanilla and sandalwood Until my mom panned it,, this was her fave bold & edgy perfume! It's a classic yet doesn't feel v dated,, v hot woman, styled short hair vibesss ...kinda like femme fatale character in film noir aesthetixx Longevity was around 5-6 hours,, and it's quite affordable and underrated!!

hmmm idk, my nose may be deceiving me... am I the only one who thinks the dry down smells soooo close to libre berry crush (which i love)🤔🤔 either way this is fireeeeeee!!!! 😁🔥❤️

Ok finally got this because so many people said it was similar to alien fusion ….. 👎 nope! 🙂↔️ it IS a cousin to alien fusion a first cousin. I thought about why I LOVED alien fusion so much that it replaced my signature scent of 35 plus years,Poison? It gave me my two favorite spices (ginger and cinnamon) in a WARM way (tx to Amber but not in a vintage way tx to the amber being white is my guess? and the touch of vanilla! Not too much a touch) the spices are what run the show and the tuberose? Does NOT take over!! It’s there for the spices to lay upon…. And all together it’s a nice roll in the hey!! 💕 perfection THIS? Had the ginger it was nice a nice ginger some citrus but I didn’t get orange blossom, like the touch that’s in fusion… so it was like fusion passed by but she didn’t have her best makeup on nor her hair did! This Boss? Was more like a manager in training? It was like some notes tossed about, but it doesn’t match that red bottle!!? You really can’t pick out the notes in this and that’s NOT because it’s well blended nope! It’s just idk missing something ? I would NOT buy this again ! Thank goddess for Mercari and pre loved bottles at $16!! It’s not bad really? … it’s just not much of anything, I could see where they wanted to go? But it was like an incomplete project Safe to say? DONT waste your money!! Also? It doesn’t last more than 30 mins 🤦♀️ ehhh I hate YOU Mugler/Loreal just bring my damn alien fusion back 😡 I’m sick of this monthly hunt

Used to smell warm spicy fruity when I first had it now it smells warm, not too sweet CARAMEL It's an alright one Doesn't last too long though Opening scent is good as well as the evolved scent

This is one of my favorites. As a guy this is easily unisex. It’s just everything I like. Warm .. a little resinous and just the right amount of floral. It has been re released in and oval bottle not the original high heel. Get the high heel as it is not watered down. A winner . Will always have a bottle

I have the original bottle from 2005 and it’s amazing sexy scents I smell the vanilla in Drydown it’s deep I just love it

QUESTION Has anyone tried the redesigned version yet? Can't believe they got rid of that beautiful dark matt bottle in favor of the transparent pink circle🤬 Used to be my favorite... but if the juice has changed in the same way the package did it will be a big disappointment

I blind bought this perfume and I don't know what to think of it... I can't feel any citrus notes. On my skin it smells very musky and rosy(!?) with a tiny hint of black currant. Very strange as there's no rose in the notes list. It doesn't smell bad, but it's not what I've expected.

Unique and bizarre. Sugared bubble gum scent that is more hot pink in vibe than deep red. On my skin, the pear is the strongest fruit note and almost artificial candy scented. There is a tart orange aspect that comes and goes. The black currant is present too but too sweet. I don't get any ginger, but I do get the flowers and vanilla. No cedar either. I am reminded of root beer. It really smells like root beer to me. I wish ginger and cedar were present when I tested this but sadly, they are missing. It seemed like a very interesting composition from the notes. However the and result is not good. This is something I would expect to come from Bath and Body Works, not Hugo Boss. A hand sanitizer to be exact. This fragrance has the air of a cold public bathroom with that wholesale pink liquid soap. It's almost cloying.

Deep, dark, sexy, edgy. Absolutely nothing cutesey or juvenile about this. This is what I imagine Trinity from The Matrix smells like. Leans as far edgy as you can possibly go without being too masculine for a women's perfume.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. i will never get bored of this scent. my mom wore this throughout my childhood and i was always so impressed by it. the black currant, ginger and blood orange creates an amazing blend. it's fruity but also very mysterious... very feminine without being overpowering. gives a very strong, independent women vibe, suitable for colder months. i recently bought her a brand new bottle of this from the airport duty free but sadly my mom has been telling me that the longevity and sillage of this new version is very weak :( nevertheless i still love and cherish this fragrance as it reminds me of my childhood and my mom. budget friendly nostalgic scent.

Very fem scent. My mom wore this every day and she smelled AMAZING. This is her signature scent. It's personally too citrusy for me so I wouldn't wear it.

One of my absolute favourites of all time. I’ve owned 3 bottles of this and just received my 4th which Is a 2012 batch. It’s so easy to wear and currently stands out in the trenches of today’s gourmands. To me it’s the perfect balance of fresh , spicy and sensual. I love it. I adore it. I will wear this perfume forever.

Close to love as this always cheers me up and is my favourite Boss. Maybe The Scent Elixir can rival it. Commercially beautiful and sensual. Conceptually close to Amor Amor - they share the shampoo-bubble bath notes. In the top notes I feel clementine, base of vanilla and musk but the clearest note is freesia that I adore. It is blended into a novelty out of the notes. Universal weather-wise but I like it autumn-winter and enjoy it during a day. It fits also a night and projects a bubble that lasts long, near 24 hours. Complex, might be too sexy for a day but it makes my day better. It is fresh, it is clean, it is a bit spicy, it is warm, it is deep, it is sexy. It is an easy reach that fits my needs.

I was really looking forward to the blood orange smell as I love how it smells in real life but this turned out to be too spicy and masculine for me, probably from the ginger and cedar combo as it is a heavier spice than e.g. Twilly by Hermes and I don't get any sweet vanilla for some reason. But it smells lovely on my husband and he likes and it suits him perfectly.

Ferbrese for the mature girls. Its very deep and sexy almost chocolatey. Lovely affordable autumn pick bound to turn heads. Overspray required tho.

I use to save up my pocket money and gift this to my mother as a child, this is super sentimental for me. Perfumes can transcend you in time and provoke vivid amazing memories, this one does both in abundance for me. I’ll never not have a bottle.

Idk what people are talking about. I first bought HDR in 2011 and it smells the same to me as it did back then and I’ve bought several bottles through the years. I can smell it on me all day. It’s a sexy woodsy black current scent that smells warm and cozy. I’m so picky with perfumes so the fact that I’ve bought it so many times shows how much I love it. I just can’t find perfumes I like from what they have out today compared to what they had in the early 2000s.

I love it! One year ago, I regretted buying it since it was ver weak and I couldn't even smell it. Getting better and better with time. It is elegant, feminine, and comforting.

Here for the elder millenial nostalgia too! Oh the adventures we had together! Unforgetably sampled first on a boat cruise across the Andriatic sea. I fell in love and wore for years and years after. The first iterations of Deep Red were heavier and way less citrucy. The ginger note here is the hardest working note, making the wearer irresistible. I recall heading to my first cinema & dinner dates in full confidence wearing my "big girl" perfume. It exuded a powerful statement, oh those poor teenager boys!

Guys i'll say this- I have similar perfumes to this and they last wayyy longer than Deep Red. I'm actually surprised because you'd think this would be higher value as it's more expensive but no- even Imari Queen from Avon lasts longer (they have some notes in common as well) Also its quite an ashy smell? at least at first. I guess it depends on the person wearing it because you know, not all skin types match certain smells It obviously still smells nice and if you're into ashy smells and cigarettes, seduction, alluring vibes then you should get it- but consider the fact that cheaper perfumes with a similar, smell last wayyyy longer and (in my opinion) are higher quality

Nose Note #147 On first try and without looking at the notes it felt like another classic take on tuberose. Very surprised to see blood orange and ginger. I'll give an update later Upd.: It smells almost masculine in the deep dry-down

I like the bottle. Deep Red is fresh-spicy but a little outdated to my nose. Great for running errands but not enough "lift" for my mood to enjoy. This creation is like a new house that's well built but something is missing. The house has an eerie feel. Aha! the foundation on which the house is built on is very poor.
