Absolute Aphrodisiac is a vanilla fragrance, but it doesn’t smell like vanilla extract. Not vanilla frosting. Not ice cream. It smells like the vanilla bean itself. It’s the moment you split open a plump, oily Madagascar vanilla pod and scrape out the tiny black seeds. There’s a darkness to real vanilla that most people never realize exists. It’s leathery, faintly smoky, resinous, with an almost animalic quality that feels far more primal than sweet. That raw vanilla melts into the musk so seamlessly it’s impossible to tell where one ends and the other begins. The musk has the warmth of sun-soaked suede and a wild, instinctive character that’s impossible to put into words. It feels untamed, yet never rough or dirty. Every so often, a creamy richness surfaces, almost like roasted white chocolate. It doesn’t make the fragrance sweeter. It simply softens the edges for a moment. There’s something undeniably erotic about the feeling it evokes. Warmth. Confidence. Instinct. It has a quiet magnetism that feels completely effortless. Absolute Aphrodisiac doesn’t seduce by being sugary. It seduces by reminding you that vanilla was never meant to smell innocent. I should start off by saying I absolutely love this scent. It's not for everyone since this is a dirty vanilla scent, it blends the softness and smoothness of vanilla with the rawness of animalic notes. I would describe the scent as a provocative, attractive and unique. If this sounds interesting to you, you should definitely try it. However, I have a major gripe with this fragrance, it does not last, to the point where i would consider it unwearable. It doesn't project either but I feel like that is for the better since this type of scent works better when it's intimate. I can not really justify the price considering it's impracticality.

I stopped by Bloomingdale's today. I have a system for trying frags, smell the atomizer, if I'm impressed, I try it on paper, if it's really impressive then I will try it on skin. This one made it to skin almost immediately. Only 3 other fragrances, out of the 200 or so on display, made it to the skin and 2 of those were out of curiosity more than serious interest . On skin AA is absolutely sublime to my nose! How have I never tried this before?? It reminds me of Dolce and Gabbana Velvet Incenso at first (incense, amber, vanilla) enhanced by some animalic undertones. As it dries down, a soft but very noticeable floral accord interlaced with musk radiate off of my skin giving a light soapiness, which shouldn't work with the vanilla and animalic tones, but it does! Everything is blended perfectly and I'm shocked that there are no mentions of incense or resin in the notes. After smelling the atomizer, then paper, then skin, comes buying a decant and if I get most of the way through that and feel the same way, I will be getting a bottle. So far, this is my favorite Initio knocking Rehab out of the top spot. This is too good!

Pretty much a straight forward vanilla, sweet and very close to Valentino Punk Romantic. No complexity or originality. If that's your aphrodisiac, go for it.

This was my first Initio sample, and honestly... i'm a little conflicted. The first spray kinda shocked me because it smelled so strongly of alcohol! It did soon settle into a vanilla with a nice animalic funk. I love animalic notes in perfume, I must say. There's also a hint of leather. My issue is that it feels like it's missing something to tie it all together? Maybe some spices would help, I dunno. Initially it feels a little flat, rough around the edges, and not as well blended as I was expecting up top. After the first phase is over, it does start to change. The vanilla steps back (sadly) and a warm resinous amber comes through, making it feel deeper and smoother. I also detect a sweet incense note. I usually love incense, but here it caught me off guard and didn't fit the vibe I was hoping for! I was surprised to find it settle so quickly. Within 30 mins i'd already reached the final drydown, and the projection was barely more than a skin scent. For a fragrance with a name like Absolute Aphrodisiac... I imagined something louder, darker and richer. I want all the people in the room to go feral when they smell me coming! For this price, i'd honestly reach for YSL Babycat instead. Babycat's drydown is incredible, with richer vanilla, better depth, and longevity that seems to last forever. It's the much sexier choice!

🔥 sexy ass dirty vanilla coke vibes, true unisex I personally think. Men and women 30+ if your looking for a sexy ass date night fragrance this is for you. I can see why they chose the name aphrodisiac for this. Not sure where people are getting butthole smell from cause I aint getting it, if your a women and your butthole smells like this your either gonna think im to weird for you or the perfect man for you 🤣 But enough with the Bhole business, this fragrance is beautiful, this is not for eveyone I will say that, but I can see one of them women in the streets and freak in the sheets wearing this, and men that have a party side while being great dad and someone you call daddy in the sheets. Sissy dudes this ain't for you, if you think imagination is the greatest fragrance of all time dont bother your to bitch made and dont even deserve to wear something of this caliber 😆 jk btw, but your probably not gonna like this. Women if you wear fruit salads and flowers and scared to wear something daring this probably aint for you. Winter, cool spring night, and fall this will be magic. For summer during the day personally I wouldnt chose this, but if you get a cool summer night by all means chose this fragrance. 90+°F its a no go for me.

Vanilla predominantly but then quickly fizzles into a spicy amber. I wish the vanilla lasted a bit longer.

Beautiful skin scent and animalic done right. Sticks to the skin but not overly cloying. I love it and would buy this as my pure vanilla bottle

Mature vanilla scent. Mildly sweet.

This perfume is absolutely gorgeous! Every time I spray I can’t stop sniffing myself. Vanilla, amber, musk and wood are perfectly blended so it’s comfortable but provocative at the same time. Vanilla here is not childish, too sweet or synthetic, it is just the perfect touch to make it sexy and inviting. I really like the fact that there is not too much of any of the notes, so you don’t really get tired of it.

This is such an interesting fragrance to my nose. It smells like 20 different things but then it smells completely unique at the same time. This is the best vanilla centric fragrance I own. Its a smooth, creamy vanilla bean ice cream style vanilla with a slightly spiced ambery feel and a tiny bit of animalics in the background. It is pretty linear, I just get less amber in the dry down compared to the opening. Absolute Aphrodisiac smells like a hot person's skin in my head. It is great for nights and cool weather, I could see this being pulled off in the summer nights when its a little breezy. 9.5/10

This is the best vanilla fragrance. It is not a sweet yucky vanilla like the nasty cheap sweetness bombs, this is a sexy, sophisticated and well-blended unisex vanilla that dries down to smell exactly like a real vanilla bean, with the perfect balance of sexiness, spiciness, warmth and hint of sweetness. The big con of this fragrance is that it does not have much projection and becomes a skin scent almost immediately, which is disappointing.

Absolute Aphrodisiac is strangely boring but in a quite pleasing way. The opening has a this deep but mildly animistic musky leather note with a strong sweetness over the top of it that carries hints of vanilla & powder. After about 15 minutes all of Absolute Aphrodisiac has mellowed out into a continuous combined note of that has reversed entirely in its scent profile. The sweet powder & vanilla is strongest with a hint of floral in it and the animistic musky leather note has faded to far into the background with only tiny wafts reaching my nose occasionally. Absolute Aphrodisiac unfortunately was a bit of a letdown on the performance side in regards to projection but it had great longevity. It lasted just under 12 hours on my skin and stuck to my clothes for over 24 hours. A 8/10 for longevity. The projection was the disappointing side; Absolute Aphrodisiac just didn’t project almsot at all. It started off nicely, getting a couple feet off my skin, radiating inside my arms length. It only stayed this way until it dried down, about 15 to 20 minutes. After this it crashed down to a tight skin scent; and stayed this way for the next 11 and a half hours. A 1/10 for projection. Absolute Aphrodisiac smells quite good but at the end of the day as a fragrance it’s just not good because it just has absolutely no projection on my skin. I couldn’t smell it for 99% of its life without my noise directly on my skin or clothing. It’s a 2/10 overall, it’s a really good scent. It’s falling in my eyes are being a fragrance due to not being wearable.

All I smell is vanilla, leather , and a hint of smoky florals. I don’t get none of the “beaver butthole” or the “bo” everyone is talking about😭😭

I need to give this fragrance another chance cause I dont know how I feel about this fragrance. I am not into leathery and animalic scents but because this is really overhyped perfume, I tried it. But mehh. Pls absolute aphroodisiac enjoyers dont attack me

Initially bit sour amber and (s)we(a)t vanilla, then more vanilla bourbon and sweeter, add tobacco drydown in later phases. Nothing spectacular, weak longevity, not much to write about. Sexy? Not in any special way. Castoreum not noticeable, carnality minimal :( I was hoping for much more.

I was in Skins (recommend a visit there) and smelt Absolute Aphrodisiac, it was amazing and I fell in love so I was given a samples from the very same bottle. At home when I tried it on skin it was something else entirely. It arrived loud and stayed loud, all I could smell was smoke! Not sure what's going on there.
