Summer in a bottle! Reminds me of being at the beach! Very salty, more salt than vanilla but I get the vanilla in the dry down! This will be my go to summer fragrance! It’s a fun, easy wear. Love wearing this while out on the lake

This smells identical to Victoria's secret pink coco vanilla which is a combination of coconut, vanilla and spiced pear! This perfume is surprisingly soft and balanced imo. I get some coconut, vanilla bean and a tad of saltiness. Smells softer and less sweet than EB's Vanilla Salt and smells nothing like Beach Walk. I prefer to wear this in spring, fall and probably summer.

The drydown reminds me of Alien Goddess minus the coconut. Smells like sunscreen with a hint of vanilla and salt. It's not bad and I prefer this over Goddess, but I wished that the vanilla was more pronounced :(. For a good vanilla and salt combo fragrance I suggest Vanilla Bosca from Guerlain over this.

I didn’t like this one at first, I had a small tester, but then I wore it for fun once on a hot summer day, and it was like an a-ha moment. This fragrance needs to be worn in summer!

Finally a vanilla that goes against the grain ( a bit). I would not say it's salty, but it is not übersweet for sure. This fragrance makes the vanilla shine, while the tonka adds a bit of chewiness & creaminess to it.

A more intimate , creamier cousin to Mineral Milk by Dedcool, it lends itself to images of getting one last vanilla ice cream cone before packing up after a day at the beach. Cooling sand under your feet, skies turning golden orange as the sun sets, soft air billowing scents of fading sunscreen and sweet cream. The vanilla sweet notes take a moment to come through, but when they do? Magical.

this reminds me of sunscreen and playdough, it smells so innocent, it weighs as much as cotton, and has as much strength as a candle in the wind. i can barely smell it on my skin just minuets after spraying it, i find that so awful for the price... so disappointing. i want to like this perfume so bad. the salt and vanilla works perfectly together, its not too musky or powdery. its just a nothing burger

OOOhhhh she's delicious. sweet and salty , enticing and fresh. Def aphrodisiac i can feel it. Gorgeous Vanilla & Salt duo. Not too marine or oceanic i would not like that. The musk and tongka prevail, i love her ! Not too floral, exquisetely done Vanilla Salt perfume. Reminds me of Vanilla mints, or vanilla licorice, i'm addicted. Not cloying at all, amazing formula. perfectly balanced. Perfect summer scent and all year round! 10/10

If I had to describe the exact smell of fresh, clean skin right after a shower after spending a whole day at the beach, this would be it. I'm a hardcore vanilla girl, but let's be real - sometimes during peak summer heat, heavy and overly sweet vanillas can just be way too much. That’s where this beauty comes in. It’s a mix of salt, vanilla, and benzoin that feels incredibly airy and effortless. I know the prominent salt note isn't for everyone, which probably explains the lower ratings on Fragrantica, but if you love that marine, sun-kissed vibe, it's just perfect. Honestly, for a summer-appropriate vanilla, the performance holds up really well, and it instantly puts me in a vacation mood. Plus, scoring a 100ml bottle for under 40 euros was an absolute steal. It’s an easy, carefree summer staple for me, hands down.

It's a unique vanilla, but it's only vanilla and a LOT of alcohol for me personally. Triggers my allergies heavily.

i’m now learning that i don’t like vanilla and salt together, or at least not how it’s done here. the salt completely overshadows the sweetness of the vanilla for me. it’s not offensive per se, it just smells wrong on me. i get what people are talking about when they say this smells beachy, but it wouldn’t be my choice for a coastal vacation

I loved it for several years but seems like I grew out of it. It now smells like a cold sterile vanilla to me. It's not refreshingly cool, it's just too simple, too cold, too boring. Elegant? Yeah. Complex and summery? No. It's not a generic vanilla, but it's too simple of a scent that just doesn't make me feel anything. I'd wear it to the office if I ever worked there🙄 Tried mixing it with the other perfumes but it just doesn't pair well with anything that I have. I used to cherish every drop of this perfume but now I have more than half a bottle of the perfume that I don't particularly like. What a reminder to enjoy things without hoarding them🫠

One of the only JHAG scents that I actually like. I got a sample a long time ago and fell in love. It projects very well and lasts pretty long on me.

This really does smell like summer. I don't get a lot of vanilla but it smells like salty skin after a day at the beach and the faint smell of sunscreen that remains. Definitely more of a skin scent than a gourmand. This smells like what I thought Clean Reserve Skin would smell like, but without the saliva smell. This is salty, warm skin. Not sure if I woyld wear it but I really like the scent; it transports you to summer.

This fragrance truly smells like a sunny summer day. It feels as if you're walking along the beach, with the scent of the sea mingling with sunscreen and ice cream in the warm air. Even though coconut isn't listed in the notes, I can definitely detect a hint of it. That said, there's one thing missing that would make it perfect. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it lacks a certain kick or spark that would make it really stand out. I’m also disappointed by the longevity, as it fades much sooner than I’d like. Still, it's a beautiful and very evocative summer scent. I will try to layer it, maybe i can get the kick I'm missing.

It smells like vanilla ice cream melting in your hand whilst you are near the sea breeze in the summer. It is popular for a reason, it gives me a nostalgic childhood vibe. People are saying this is similar to Bosca Vanilla by Gurlain however the Gurlian frgarence has a harsh eucalyptus and a driftwood note, I overall prefer V.V. Make sure to give V.V. A try it’s great!

Do yourself a favor and get Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Bosca Vanilla (Forte). Its very reminiscent of this but stronger, way better blending and no synthetic, cloying opening. Just a better interpretation of the salty vanilla IMO. If you like/love this, hang on to your hat with the Guerlain. One of the best vanillas ever created. Actually just an understated and underrated classic. Got back ups of back ups in case they discontinue it.

Never really found V.V. signature worthy, but I have been layering V.V. with Hawas Black. Somebody needs to make am EDP like this asap----layering, it's like a dewey, humid, beach morning, fresh-cut grass and Japanese bamboo + green tea & vanilla incense. It is increadible.

Vanilla vibes.. the first time I smelled this was on someone I know. The sillage was so incredibly beautiful that I couldn't resist to ask the name of the perfume. Throughout the evening, whenever I would get whiffs of this perfume, my mood would instantly go up, making me feel relaxed and at peace. It was a very hot day, yet this sweet perfume didn't feel overpowering or suffocating at all. This perfume is incredibly elegant, chic and "soft". Is it simple? Maybe. It does not change much throughout the wear, but I don't mind it. There's definitely something mysterious about this scent, while being very pleasant. Musky, powdery, coconutty, slightly salty vanilla... Soooo incredibly good, this is now my favourite perfume 💕 I really just want to smell it 24/7

A not-to-sweet soft vanilla (as others have said, it reminds of baby powder and beach days). I think this is a good option if you absolutely cannot do without a vanilla fragrance even on a hot day, as most vanilla frags would be too overwhelming in those circumstances - this one won't be. Personally, I find it rather simple and boring. At least it doesn't smell too synthetic, but it is very linear and feels decidedly 'flat'. If you are trying to sell your house, spray it in the linen closets and bedrooms to evoke a vaguely comforting cleanliness - it's that kind of scent. NB: it does have a fantastic longevity!

soooo pathetically weak, zero projection and sillage. you'd be better off buying any beach-y themed bath and body works body mist as it'll be 1/10th the price and last twice as long. the scent itself is fine when you can smell it but nothing special, just salt with a hint of vanilla. overall rating: 🩷💔🖤🖤🖤 1.5/5

It's pleasant but not complex. A safe blind buy honestly. You can give this out as a present for any woman in your life and she'd probably like it. I'm only rating it as 'ok' because it's not something i'd buy for myself.

Not salty the way I hoped it would be.

I really loved the opening on this its a lovely fresh and aquatic opening with a some vanilla and it reminded me of spending the day at the pool in the best possibly way but then the dry down turned straight up into a pure playdough scent on me. Just playdough and nothing else. I do not enjoy smelling like playdough.
