I wish they would bring this back! It was such a lovely and easy perfume to wear! A chic rose with zero airs and graces. :)

My favourite perfume to date, the only perfume I’ve never got bored of and I've used and repurchased several bottles over the years. Unfortunately it’s discontinued and the bottle I have now is starting to smell slightly off/ less vibrant. It’s a light fragrance, so versatile, so inoffensive, doesn’t smell too floral but just fresh, a little sweet but not sickly, a little spicy if you search for it. It doesn’t smell like a celebrity fragrance to me, it’s in another league! I’m on the hunt for something similar that isn’t discontinued :(

Use to be able to get this for like 9 euro at a discount store near me. Great for a broke teenager to wear everyday. Got a few compliments over the years I wore it. Nothing special and no wow factor but nice and inoffensive.

I used to buy this in university, it was probably my first signature scent and I LOVED it. It was actually a blind buy, found it in the cheapest section of a drugstore which is so ironic considering today's prices... Once it was discontinued I savoured my last bottle, it has only a few ml left BUT it still smells the same, just as new. Because of the above I've been on the hunt for years for something similar that doesn't cost a fortune amd finally I've found it!! Zara Fleur de Patchouli comes as close as it gets in my opinion and it's pretty inexpensive, too! Fellow Kate-fans, do check it out and thank me later :)

It was such a nice one. I bought it in 2007. It was my first "expensive" perfume bought for my own money. First payment I got from my first job. I paid £20 and it was bought in Gordons chemists, northern ireland. Such a nice memories. It was rosy scent, very prominent, happy. I dont remember how long it stayed on my skin but I remember it was really nice fragrance

This was my very first perfume, purchased as a Christmas gift set promotion with Rimmel. I was 14 when I chose this as my first perfume, I remember being unsure but not displeased, not wowed by it, though it did grow on me. It was an inoffensive soft floral, not too bright or sharp, more on the gentle side without being dull or lifeless. My sister would borrow it all the time finding it much more to her tastes. It evaporated when it was accidentally left in a bag in the sun, my first lesson of perfume storage.

I fricking loooove this perfume! Powdery, with a touch of rose. Refreshing, unisex, mysterious. It's too bad you can't buy it in stores anymore. My fav perfume so far.

It's a big call, but I'm prepared to make it: Kate by Kate Moss is my favourite celebrity release thus far in terms of the actual scent (performance notwithstanding). I love florals that are a bit different, and not your usual sickly-sweet floral-fruity cocktail. I also love rose, but I feel like it can be a difficult note to get right. This fragrance hits that spot for me. It's a dark, mysterious, sensual rose with a spicy, oriental twist; not your usual squeaky-clean soapy rose. Kate is not the most multi-faceted fragrance I own - it's pretty linear in its composition - but that's not necessarily a bad thing! As mentioned above, the sillage and longevity aren't amazing. This fragrance sits close to my skin, only really detectable when I'm up close to someone. Sadly, it also disappears from my skin without a trace within an hour or two of wearing it, but I guess that's not a huge deal given it's very affordable. I have three almost-full bottles of this sitting on my dresser, so it's easy enough to reapply. I do wish it'd last a bit longer, but those delicious, heady notes of patchouli, musk, and pepper that sit just under the surface are enough to make me forgive and forget. This is an edgy, sexy fragrance that exudes confidence. Love.

For me, this is a cheap, generic and boring perfume. It's not unpleasant but lacks any depth or sophistication. I wouldn't wear it with all the other choices out there and now use it as a general air freshener. I wouldn't gift it to anyone older than their teens and wouldn't buy it again.

Анонім

not bad, but not something I would wear. If you want it, I have a full bottle available, no box.

Анонім

I love this, which is unusual for me because it's a gentle, quiet fragrance. I find this warm and comforting. It reminds me of old fashioned floral sweets, like rose Turkish delight and Parma violets. The musk makes it soft but the florals also compete for attention, with rose being indistinct from the listed forget me not, lily of the valley and peony in a kind of floral fug. I found my part used bottle as part of a lot on eBay. I didn't buy the lot for this scent but it's a good bonus. I've had a look and I see this is pretty rare scent to find now. Lasts extremely well on me, noticeable after 8 hours and counting, despite me having the EDT.

This was my old favourite! Bring it back!

Wow I had completely forgotten about this perfume until I saw it on fragrantica. I feel so nostalgic, this was my first perfume when I was 12 I smelled it in a store and when I got home I loved it so much I wanted to go back and buy it (it was on sale too!). So of course, my parents told my older brother to take me and we walked back over to the store and bought it. It was definitely a lovely sweet, musky smell, not exactly what I'd imagine a preteen wearing, lol. I wish I could smell it again just for the feels.

Pink, fresh, sparkling and flowery. A nice mix of rose and peony that resembles Stella a lot but probably in a lighter way. I used to hate this perfume when it came out, nowadays I find it very reasonable for the price and I believe it can easily compete with more pricey roses in the market. It is perfect for office wear and to blend with rose, musk and woody oils or body butters. It is being discontinued so get it while you can!

Анонім

This is one I keep coming back to. This was originally bought for me over 5 years ago as a present. Since then I have bought 2 more bottles of this. Unfortunately, with it being discontinued this is getting harder and harder to find. It is a light, sweet floral. I always thought of this as being a cosmetic, peppery rose but can see there's no rose note? Perhaps it is peony I am smelling with a very slight hint of violet. This is a modern fragrance that hints at the old fashioned or vintage. It reminds me of old-fashioned boudoirs, chaise lounges, powdery makeup and a wardrobe of stage costumes not worn in years.

Анонім

Yes it's discontinued... So sad because it's wonderful.

Beautiful. An edgy, sexy scent for sure! Truly a one of a kind fragrance that Kate Moss did perfectly. If you love roses, you will love this. Was my signature for years. To me this is all about the rose, pink pepper, patchouli, and sandalwood. This is a scent that actually transforms wonderfully. When you first put it on, it’s a blast of sharp rose and pink pepper. After a couple hours it will dry down to an incredible soft, floral, skin like scent. I remember I would pick up a sweatshirt I had sprayed it on days later, it would still be there, and it smelled like delicate soft rose petals. Nothing like the original opening. Very comforting and cozy. This scent is perfect for fall/winter because it has that sharpness that blends with cold weather. It’s also great for evening wear. I’d mainly put it on when I was going out for the night. So many memories from this scent. It was a treasure I found over a decade ago. I wish it was still readily available. It was the only Kate Moss fragrance I liked. And this to me could have been a classic designer fragrance. It’s a shame it’s so hard to find, I think it may even be discontinued... not sure. Can not find it in Canada anymore. If you like roses, don’t hesitate. This is an edgy classic and a rare gem, with a risqué side and a soft side. Just like Kate herself. I miss it.

I agree with what was said below. As a celebrity fragrance, it's certainly one of the better ones; it doesn't have that cheap extremely sweet quality to it that a lot of them tend to have (Naomi Campbell comes to mind). It's floral and sexy, not overly feminine or sweet and has a "dark" seductive side to it. Before I had bought it I had read a short review of someone who said it smelled like 'smoky rose'. I agree completely. If you like roses but want something more exciting than, say, Givenchy's 'Very Irresistible' (which to me is one of the most boring fragrances out there) this would be my recommendation. It's very wearable during day- and nighttime alike and its longevity is surprisingly long.

Анонім

I love this!!! Cannot find it anywhere!!! Can anyone give me some comparisons?

Анонім

Pineapple? I dont think so! I get a very heavy rose with a little spice and green notes. It was a great replacement for Stella by Stella for me.

Анонім

Extremely fragrant and wearable. This is a classier celebrity perfume than most celebs. It smells even better than some designer and niche fragrances. This reminds me of a very delicate bouquet of exotic flowers but nothing too wild. This is definately a must have even though it's not that popular as others.

Анонім

Why are the notes in the pyramid almost COMPLETELY different to what's written in the article???? Which is true?

Анонім

Gradually getting to know Kate Moss' first scent. Every time I take a whiff of the bottle and newly doused t-shirt I get sharp raspberry (though that's not a note!). I also get a sterile, fresh, stylized femininity that reminds me of Drew Barrymore's Radiant, only sweeter and more musky. [Shared notes: peony, musk, bergamot.] However the similarities end when I spray her on my skin and sheets, and she grows into her own unique creature. In the space between sleep and consciousness, I could have sworn there was another woman in my bed, effortlessly sensual, young at heart, naturally tempting, passive yet inviting. She knows all the secrets of love and pleasure, and lays there soft and silent, open to anything that may happen. [Over a month later] Kate is a gorgeous everyday perfume that seems to fit every mood and occasion without growing tiresome.

Анонім

can someone please tell me why the liquid in my perfume is green and not pink? its the original one :(

Анонім

This was a very nice rose scent, but I think her signature should have been velvet hour

This is such a well done rose scent. So fresh and vibrant. I will definitely be re purchasing when I run out. Longevity and sillage are excellent for a celeb frag. I get so many compliments. I layer it with dkny pure touch of rose (which dissapoint s because of its powdery ness) and it's beautiful. On its own it's beautiful too but I layer with the dkny to make the dkny more wearable.

My take on this fragrance is so different from other reviews and a massive departure from the advertising spiel. Raspberry fairy floss is my first impression and I'm surprised to find that 'sweet' is missing from the list of accords. After an hour the sweetness has settled down and is overtaken by a strong musk. Its hard to find musks that don't give me that association with musk sticks, perhaps it's an Australian thing ...?! But for a fragrance that is supposed to be seductive and elegant, I get something that reminds me of a 5 year old's lolly bag.

anything that is musky and floral is perfect in my book
