It has lots of vanilla, it is not amber / tobacco dominant in the way of grand soir or boss; its vanilla is as strong as amber and tobacco comes 2nd place; of you are not vanilla fan like me, sample first! you might get headach after several uses

This reminds me of Azzaro Amber Fever, particularly the dry-down once the burnt sugar/spice aroma tails off, also slightly of Lanvin Avant-Garde. The Boss Bottled Absolu comparisons are warranted. It's a nice amber fragrance.

Анонім

It's a rich dark, smokey, spicy mix that just projects masculinity. A few months back I picked Boss Bottled Elixir over Boss Bottled Absolu and this Asad Elixir reminds me of a mix between those two. It leans dark, spicy and thick on masculinity. It's not going to be for everyone but it will certainly be loved by those that enjoy these types of scents.

100% flanker of OG Asad. Creamy , darker and the same DNR.

I love the smell tbh its good sexy for winter and autumn nights

Анонім

Smells like a dupe Screechy and Arabic mess

This thing is amazing spicy, sexy, warm. Just please don't overspray it or you'll be a walking headache. It projects beautifully, lasts honestly 10+ hours and stays on hoodies and clothes after wash. this is a bang for your buck winter date night scent. no reason to buy the designer or inspired buy get this instead and save your money.

This Asad Elixir is a perfectly pleasant blend of spicy-aromatics and tobacco-mellowed amber. It certainly is well-placed being flanked by Asad and Asad Bourbon on either side, since it does possess some notes of both and is halfway between the two in overall sweetness. (Asad Zanzibar still doesn't make much sense in the line-up.) Another point of similarity is with Musamam Intense Black, also by Lattafa. Sampling them together, I found their openings very close, despite having relatively few shared notes, though their differing bases do separate them distinctly. Asad Elixir's vanillic amber being more conventional, while Musamam Intense Black's cocoapulse & tonka being a more eccentrically modern mutation.

This fragance is like a HB Bottled Absolut fir a younger crowd, since is more sweet and less manly. Really good cheap fragance for all the considerations. Lataffa nailed it.

Анонім

@eos1977 yea cause you started your fragrance journey with niche.. 🤦🏻 Youre a Troll and have none of the fragrances you say you have.. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I really love some Lattafa fragrances but why are men condemned to have such nostril-evaporating perfumes… this smells like a rotten foot with spices on it

Анонім

Eros1977 is without a doubt, the most pretentious person on Fragrantica.

Анонім

Lattafa creates loud, sweet and sometimes irritating scents, this scent is supposedly peppery and very masculine, but very vanilla.

Анонім

okay so to start you have to let this sit for like a 6-8 weeks before you get the true potential. It opens very sharp and kind of spicy. Then the middle/end it becomes daker and syrupy. I'd say like vanilla amber and its pretty thick. I got this during the summer and you can wear it then but you got to spray light and early in the day so it doesn't choke people out so no road trips with this. But the longevity is amazing on skin its like 12 hours at least for me. but if you spray or get any of this on your clothes then its going to smell like it for days. Great buy definitely something you can wear everyday in the winter fall any occasion. Just good

Анонім

Just received it, it's nice.. I see in the comments it needs some maceration. I hope that gets better. for now what I can say is that it smells SO DAMN CLOSE to my "royal paragon" by Zimaya, which is a clone of Layton.

Differences with og on strip side by side More -middle eastern -ashy dry smoke -acrid Less -smooth syrupy balsamic sweet (though sweetness level is about on par) -musky earty soil I much prefer the og.

A lighter, slightly sweeter Boss Bottled Absolu. 10/10

I recently ordered several fragrance samples and received this rather unfortunate complimentary gift. Tell me, are you all suffering from some collective delusion when applying this? It is hardly the epitome of masculinity; rather, it is the quintessential scent of a spotty incel. This is not a perfume – it is effectively anti-freeze infused with cheap Chinese baking extracts. The aura it projects is quite literally: 'Hello, I’m Gary, I attend the local car park, I bench press 120kg fuelled by cheap calf-protein, and my education concluded prematurely at sixteen. In my leisure time, I BUY rather a lot of PERFUME.'

Here is a short honest review. No lies or overhype here. If anyone ever tells you that this perfume isn't nice, tell them to give up rating fragrances. Cause am sure their nose is broken. This perfume is a 9.5/10. Nice scent and safe blind buy. That spicy tobacco note is just out of this world. This one is for the mysterious mature man who wants to live a presence.

After trying Boss Bottled in store I went crazy and started searching for an affordable alternative. I found this talked about online so I didn’t think twice and instantly ordered it. I’d say this is a sweeter twist on Boss bottled absolu and honestly? This is a more wearable, easier on the nose but less sophisticated version of it. Amazing stuff.

Анонім

To be honest, the opening is very weak. I can barely smell the fragrance, and the projection is almost nonexistent. I know that Middle Eastern fragrances often need some time to mature after being opened, so I’ll let it sit for a while and update my review afterward. Production date: 10/2025

Also just got this in time before the fall. It’s a good scent for the but if you want Boss Absolu it’s nowhere near that quality. Very fruity but masculine scent with that amber and smokey dry down. Let’s see in some months when it has settled.

Анонім

Just landed and only just unboxed. I definitely get the Tobacco , Vanilla and Amber but I also get a Chocolate note as well. Very good blending and quality for the price. I paid £17.50 delivered for mine. Going to let it settle for a few months before revisiting it. Should be a belter for Autumn and Winter. Definitely inspired by Boss Bottled Absolu I'd say about 80-85% similar but with a twist. Well worth a blind buy 👍🏻

I loved Bottled Absolu the moment I sniffed it at Duty Free but went for pre-decided JPG LME & Bad Boy Cobalt Elixir. The moment I left the counter I was itched by thoughts not grabbing Bottled Absolu..Few days later I went to buy Bottled Absolu at same time I was reading about few alternatives too...At the counter I saw Assad Elixir and Immediately bout two bottles...I know I was supposed to buy OG but then decided to buy AE as it was too similar to OG for my nose so the calculation was two bottles for half the price and ill be able bath in it..I was budget constrained yet I went because of compulsion , I saw a promising alternative graded it...Back at home I spayed it..Loved it but longevity was half an hour max....Felt disappointed gave one bottle to friend on his birthday and kept one for the time Im not getting the OG...In between I realised it smells very close to Amouage Outlands as well so I was not sure if ill buy Bottled Absolu anytime sooner...Two months passed and last night I pulled out Assad Elixir and sprayed it before going to bed (around 4am) on the wrist of my one hand and few others on diffrent spots jut to check longevity and to my surprise and by time writing this review (2:12 pm) almost 10 hours have passed this is the only one which still there on my wrist as a strong skin scent..Its not projecting but very strongly visible when I bring it close to my nose..All other freeness are non existent which I spayed last nigh...Kamrah Quhwa is another one which slightly noticible. :)

Wow. Really really nice! Nice sweet opening, I don't feel it too spicy nor too sweet but immediately you get a nice tart grapefruit, the saffron is really there with the pink pepper, working with a nice not overpowering vanilla, nice ambery warmth, slight leather accords from the get go but they develope more with patchouli and frankincense 30-60 min in. And throughout the whole drydown. At least on my skin I can feel this really powdery, iris kind of note, almost like a lipstick. Also I don't get as much tobacco, not at least until 60-90 min have past but it doesn't feel smoky either it's more on the actual leaves rather than a tobacco store or a cuban street. So drydown is more like - leather patchouli and cedarwood with a nice frankincense tobacco leaf ambery vanilla warm background. Definitely not a scent for a younger person but generally not a hard or too specific scent to wear or pull off. I haven't had a sniff at BBA or any fragrances it is said to be similar to but as a standalone fragrance it's just amazing. Doesn't feel aged in any way, really nice modern and sophisticated scent. Easy to wear all year round except the hottest and sunniest of days, but definitely shines in a more formal setting, dinner night, winter night out, but it's not a ultimately winter exclusive fragrance. even in the office environment will be ok if not oversprayed of course. Speaking of- Great performance as well even from a few puffs . I rarely go more than 4 puffs.

Анонім

I haven't smelled the original, but this fragrance just smells really nice, but i wouldn't call it blind buy safe. Also for me it doesnt project or last at all tho

Анонім

Asad Elixir is more pleasant and easier to wear than Hugo Boss Absolu. It's less polarizing too. It's not a clone, but rather an inspired take that aims to make the scent more crowd-pleasing while preserving the DNA of Hugo Boss Absolu.

Анонім

Lattafa's Asad Elixir is a light smoky incense fragrance with a heavy presence. Out of the entire Asad line, this would have to be the most heavy hitting of the family. Masculine leaning and truly a rich profile with a dark characteristic that can be worn for special occasions/night's out or even casually if this scent profile speaks to you in your day to day mood.

Анонім

Must let it mature. At least 2 months, if not 3. Buy now if you plan to wear in fall/winter.
